Lykke starts on mobile to give easy access for everyone and everywhere. But there is also a web-trading-terminal (browser-application) in development. Release is expected for end of Q1. Lykke is a semi-centralized exchange. This means that the exchange does not take possession of the traded coins (Ethereum tokens, Ethers, Bitcoins or colored coins), but needs to be trusted to match trades correctly. Lykke has a centralized matching engine and decentralized coins settlement. Matched trades are settled on the blockchain in the atomic way. Each atomic transaction must be signed by both parites and the exchange. Still to be able to trade, one should deposit his coins to Lykke exchange. Depositing coins is not equal to trusting coins. How can it be? Lykke uses multisignatures mechanism to hold client's funds. Lykke exchange can not spend any coins without a client's private key. Even if the exchange is compromised and the Lykke key is stolen, the client will not lose his coins. The second key is required to spend deposited coins. Lykke exchange also provides a refund mechanism to guarantee funds recovery in case of emergency.

I'm asking because apparently the app employs a third party (creditvouchers) for credit card purchases.
And when you try to buy a standalone voucher from the creditvouchers.com, there seems to be a maximum voucher value (around $784 at the moment) you can buy.
Is this an amount that's also valid for lykke? Or is there no limit when you buy voucher through the lykke app?

Da ich die sachlich-freundliche Atmosphäre des Threads sehr schätze und einige wirklich gute Fragen kamen,
ich aber zum Teil nicht präzise genug antworten konnte, habe ich Richard Olsen gefragt ob er Zeit für eine Art "Mail-AmA" hätte.
Idee ist, dass ich Fragen sammle (einige habe ich ja schon), sie ihm dann maile und sobald er Zeit hat schickt er seine Antworten, die ich dann hier poste.
Er fand die Idee gut und schrieb, Zitat: "und freue mich die Fragen zu beantworten."
Wer auch immer also Fragen zu Lykke (Funktionsweise, Marktökonomie, Businessmodel, etc.) hat, kann sie hier stellen.
P.S.: Ist im Übrigen auch für mich selbst interessant, da ich Lykke betreffend ja selbst weit mehr "Schüler" als "Lehrer" bin. ;-)

Out of Investor-view I believe that ANS is an extreme project. What I mean by that: There won't be a way in the middle. If it should become a success it will most likely be highly successful with huge impact on the price - could become a billion-marketcap. If they should fail - it will turn out as the opposite with no value at all. I'm invested since the ICO and hope for the first scenario of course and I also believe that there are chances. But it's hard to stay informed about it's progress and right now it feels like a bet, not so much like an Investment. At least it's not a bad bet. ;-)

ich hätte gerne stratis, da es ein sehr sinnvolles projekt ist. der erste c# full node, außerdem soll dieses projekt eine plattform für die industrie sein. eigene blockketten individuell erstellen und laufen lassen. die entwickler sind auch relativ professionell und haben bisher ihre termine eingehalten.
man liest nicht viel, da sie sich erstmal ums projekt kümmern, statt viel werbung zu machen.
Okay, danke für den Tip! Ich habe vor kurzem erst irgendwo etwas sehr Positives über Stratis gelesen, mich damit bisher aber nie tiefer befasst. Ich bin dabei für mich selbst ne Art Liste zu machen die ich dann dem Lykke-Team zeigen werde. |

ob da bald mal etwas Schwung rein kommt, hängt doch nicht vom Altcoinmarkt oder ein paar Walen ab, sondern einzig und allein von den Coins selbst. Solange jeden Tagen immer nur "großartige News" verkündet werden, aber am Ende eigentlich nichts brauchbares bei raus kommt, wird der Markt auch weiterhin brach liegen. Weder Lisk, noch Waves, Lykke oder sonst ein Coin ist bis jetzt für den allgemeinen Markt interessant. Wo gibt es eine DAPP, Token oder wie man das nennen möchte, von dem ich meinem Nachbarn erzählen könnte, ohne dass der mich auslacht? Mein ganzer Bekanntenkreis hält mich inzwischen für einen Spinner und Träumer, der immer nur von irgendwelcher Zukunftsmusik erzählt, die nie Realität wird. Mit Sprücheklopfen kann man die Welt jedenfalls nicht verändern.
Es gibt da schon ein paar Projekte die qualitativ Oberliga sind und wirklich absolut professionell in allen Bereichen geführt werden. Lykke ist m.A.n. ein gutes Beispiel, aber etwa auch Factom. Maidsafe ist extrem ambitioniert, möglicherweise überambitioniert, aber auch da ist mein Eindruck dass wirklich Qualität entsteht. Dann gibt es noch andere dezentrale Data-Storage Projekte wie Storj oder auch Sia, und auch das wirkt zumindest von der Idee her sehr vielversprechend. Dann gibt es noch einiges was noch experimenteller ist, aber m.A.n. durchaus ernst zu nehmen - Zcash, Byteball... beides sehr neu, aber auch dahinter sitzen keine Script-Kiddies. Ob erfolgreich muss sich erst noch zeigen, aber Innovation kann man denen nicht absprechen. Unterm Strich habe ich keinen Zweifel, dass genau jetzt und in nächster Zeit ein paar Projekte entstehen die zukunftsweisend sind und Chancen haben wirklich groß zu werden - größer als wir uns das jetzt wohl hier vorstellen können. |

 ja der altcoinmarkt liegt seit 1 jahr brach. ich hoffe auch, das bis zum sommer mal wieder etwas schwung rein kommt. nicht das es wie beim letzten mal 2 jahre dauert (anfang 2014 bis 2016), bis wieder ein paar wale zocken. Ich denke eigentlich nicht, dass der Altcoinmarkt brach liegt bzw. das für 2016 der Fall war. Es ging ja schon ne Menge Geld rein, wenn Du Dir Ethereum anschaust oder einige der "Hype-ICO's" usw. (DAO! ). Aber mein Eindruck ist, dass ein großer Teil der Märkte total irrational läuft. Vieles ist eher Zocken als Investieren und einige der Top-Coins/Projekte sind m.A.n. dazu bestimmt unterzugehen während wiederum andere wirklich großartige Projekte vergleichsweise wenig Aufmerksamkeit bekommen, u.a. natürlich auch weil echtes Development mit Fokus auf Qualität nicht laut ist und Zeit braucht. Wir haben uns an eine Wahnsinns Geschwindigkeit gewöhnt - gibt ja auch den Spruch das eine Woche in Crypto wie ein Jahr in der "realen Welt" ist. Gleichzeitig denke ich aber wirklich, dass sich alles immer mehr professionalisieren wird und die Zeit der "Shitcoins" sich dem Ende zuneigt. Es wird zwar weiterhin auch Scams geben und weiterhin viele Projekte die vielleicht ohne schlechten Absichten gestartet wurden jedoch trotzdem keine Chance haben. Mit der Zeit wird sich dann zeigen was Qualität hat und was nicht. Übrigens: Es ist vermutlich noch nicht superaktuell, aber es gibt Lykke-intern erste Gespräche darüber welche Crypto-Währungen/Projekte gelistet werden sollten. Richard Olsen sagte, er möchte die bedeutendsten auf Lykke haben. Momentaner Stand ist: 1. Bitcoin 2. LKK (Lykke-shares - 100 LKK = 1 share) 3. Solarcoin 4. Ethereum folgt sehr bald - wird nicht nur einfach gelistet sondern Lykke wird mit der ETH-Blockchain connected, inklusive Atomic-Swap-Transactions Wer Vorschläge hat, immer her damit. Aber bitte nicht nur einfach aufzählen was man gerne auf Lykke sehen würde weil man darin investiert ist. Hilfreich wäre, darüber nachzudenken was für Lykke Sinn machen würde und natürlich auch was eher kontraproduktiv wäre. Soll ja nicht zu sowas wie C-Cex werden. ;-) |
