It is Rising slowly without any Dumps. Thats Impressive. Hope it doesnt do anything like it did in December Grin

Pricewise, the situation is much better now because Bitcoin doesn't hype and is likely not to do so any time soon (because of all the china-trouble). So, there should be room for a nice uptrend that is likely to intensify once the team pushes something out - Announcement or whatever.

Agreed. I saw a Tweet today stating that PBOC is still Investigating Exchanges. This Trouble may last 1-2 months. Hope there is no Downtrend now..

Yes, the next could be that they'll take a deeper look into exchanges with a focus on money-laundering. That is what many fear, also because it might be possible that exchanges would have to halt trading again. It's of course very speculative but that's the rumor.

A good Twitter-Account btw (most likely the source of the tweet you've seen), when it's about Bitcoin in China and all the recent trouble, is this one:

An interesting project is going to try it out soon.
I update my comment after use. Wink

Nice, let me know how it works for you! Feedback is always good!

no bounty sir?
why

There were bounty-campaigns during the ICO (August-September) and it's possible that there will be more campaigns in future. I don't know exactly what they plan but most likely they will need also marketers in future, people who bang the drum for Lykke but also projects that will be listed on Lykke and/or start with an ICO on the platform. Maybe they will use Streams for that. So it might be smart to keep an eye on it.

This coin is too low key, since the CEO is a super famous peoson in forex industry, he should know how to marketing, but the result is unexpected, ico coins were not sold out, only a few campaigns, if you have more campaigns, you would sell out the coins.

They've a nearly opposite approach than most of all Crypto/Blockchain-projects I know of. Usual is to show an idea (whitepaper etc.) and to do a lot of marketing to get initial funding. And some or even many of those projects who start that way are very good in luring people into their projects while it at least takes a lot of time after that until they are able to show first results. I could drop names here of projects who have done ICO's in summer 2016 and are near to dead now.

The Lykke-team has built a lot before they've done the public ICO. That's the reason why it already was possible to do the ICO on the own platform. On the other side Lykke would most likely get more attention if LKK would have launched on Poloniex. But there will be other ICO's and Lykke will get increasing attention (that's already the case).

In general can be expected: Increasing intensity (visible) on all fronts, marketing included. They move very fast and there is a lot happening that will impress. I believe that's a safe prediction.

If polinex was to list this coin it would go through the roof. But since Lykke is trying to build its own platform polinex is a direct competitor. I lykke their approach :p. Keep it low key and let the technology speak for it's self.

Right, Poloniex and Lykke are somehow in competition to each other, but what I really like in the Crypto-Space: While there is huge competition in a lot of fields, it's also possible and often the case that competing companies connect in some ways and find a win-win-situation. Chronobank and Lykke might be a good example.

It's very possible that LKK will be listed on Poloniex and maybe also Kraken in future. It's on the Roadmap. Not sure when it will be and if there are already contacts, but we'll see.

the webwallet works for me on my iMac.

Im using firefox ...

Mine syncd fine also and I got my coins, shame so many are having problems with their web wallets, that must suck.

Dev help these people asap.

i use web wallet too and working fine and i can see my ANS on there, but very long to fully sync more than 10 days only got 34%

My ANS also appeared in wallet just after 6% sync and was there till it get synced above %7 but yesterday when I opened the web wallet,it showed 0% sync and all my ANS disappeared.I didn't try Windows wallet because i thought it will take longer to sync then web wallet but web wallet is worse.
I only tried the web wallet once, and never tried it on the new server, but i synced the windows one from scratch yesterday, and it only took about half of a day, but it cannot download the blocks if i use sandbox
My ANS had moved to my web wallet and was there but not showing now, will it be okay if now I download Windows wallet? How can I get them on my Windows wallet from web wallet? Can we do same with Android wallet?I would prefer mobile wallet if possible.

You have the private key from the ICO. Wherever you import your PK your ANS will show up - if the software works.

1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - a global marketplace on the Blockchain on: January 24, 2017, 09:19:59 AM

the exchange will used by a lot of people later once that Chronobank ICO will be over.  if investors have to invest on lykke they should probably do it now but since its not listed elsewhere, it could hold them back. we'll just see what will happen later when TIME will be on lykke. the need to hurry that desktop application for us.

Pretty much everything what people might miss currently will come in the coming weeks and months, including web-based-terminal and it's also on the table to get LKK on other exchanges.

And yes, Chronobank will be helpful for the user-growth, but Lykke will also offer a lot of other exciting assets in future.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - a global marketplace on the Blockchain on: January 24, 2017, 07:35:22 AM
Sad Is there an exchange trading LKK? Noticed US - Australia - Japan - Canada not included in current plans.  Cool

Lykke is the exchange. ;-) If you want to use Lykke and/or buy into LKK you just need to download the Trading-App:
https://www.lykke.com

Lykke is not yet regulated in those countries, but of course they are included in the plans for 2017.

Interesting article about Davos (Richard Olsen was there).

Lykke is not mentioned directly, but what is said in that article is in fact about innovations like Lykke:

1214  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: HEAT LEDGER ICO - noch bis 8. August on: January 22, 2017, 01:32:45 PM

1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: January 22, 2017, 11:10:21 AM
I agree with Tempus, potential s high. However, we first need to make sure M2 s actually operational which nobody knows ATM cause there re no info.

I wouldn't say that there are no infos. They just don't repeat what they've already said and since they are on slack, they say it there - while important things are usually also quoted in here.

In my opinion the M2-situation was and is this:

They've started to roll out M2 and that was obviously not totally without problems. But it's a big release. Even the biggest billion-software-companies usually need a lot of updates after a software-release (I never download the first IOS-version, or the new OS for Mac, for example). So, it took some time and maybe it will take some more time until all is totally fluent. But the fact that exchanges are working now is a safe indicator that it's close to say: M2 implementation is finished - Factom is on another level from now on.

And that is what I expect. That they'll publish an announcement and release software updates for the wallet.

Just as a reminder for those who don't know what M2 is about, how big the release is and how meaningful:

Factom Federation is the second major release of the core Factom software. It includes several protocol changes and a networking change that gives us the ability to further upgrade the following:

Eight Federated Servers - Increased censorship resistance and globally distributed.

Eight Auditing Servers - 8 new auditing servers supporting the network.

Confirmations In Seconds Instead of Minutes - 600X improvement

More Transactions Per Second - 5X improvement.

Merkle Proofs More Accessible - Proof of Existence made easy with the factomd API.

Distributed Peer to Peer Network - Resistant to denial of service type attacks.

Graphic Control Panel For Nodes - Easily see the activities of the Factom network.

BIP 44 Wallet Support - Factoids can now be integrated into a wider range of wallets.

Robust Testing Infrastructure - New public test net and suite of testing tools.

Support For Multiple Blockchains - Bitcoin and Ethereum network.

Factom Federation is a significant upgrade from Factom Genesis. We will be rolling out Factom Federation and migrating our users, clients, and customers over the next few weeks.

- See more at: https://www.factom.com/blog/factom-federation-release#sthash.Dt9Y2Uq3.dpuf

And just btw: They've said themselves that it will be rolled out over the next few weeks. So the time they needed wasn't unexpected.

What is M3 and what will it do?

M3 = Milestone 3. It's the release of the election protocol, what basically means that the federated servers and audit servers (64 in summary) will be controlled by those who are elected to run them. Factom will be totally decentralized. As far as I understand it, it will be a rotating system.

1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: January 22, 2017, 10:11:23 AM
I have just bought some FCT for 3 days  and I can get a little bit profit from investing  and now it's still increasing everyday.
I expect it will be hottest altcoin in this year and many new changes will be released for this project.

The chances for a rising price are good in my opinion. Reasons:

1) Factom was always very good for surprises on the business-front, that they announce new partnerships and so on.
2) Now that M2 is implemented it's likely to see increasing demand. I believe that most of all EC-demand until now, including existing partnerships, was because of tests.
3) Exodus will implement Factoids in February

And about the market:

1) Zero inflation until M3 but decreasing total supply - compared with other tokens it's a huge pro
2) Compared to some other projects and measured on Factoms potential, the marketcap is very low - currently $26,785,200.

All together: Very high potential
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: January 22, 2017, 09:55:20 AM
Deposits and Withdrawals are enabled now on Polo. And github shows a lot of activity for factomd and enterprise-wallet:
https://github.com/FactomProject

I believe the chances are good that the issues are solved and that there will be an updated version soon.

1219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - a global marketplace on the Blockchain on: January 22, 2017, 09:40:25 AM
I have a couple of questions.

If Lykee is not mineable does that mean that no new coins are created?

Theoretically Lykke could issue new shares as Coins. But somebody asked a similar question on telgram (if there will be inflation) and Sergey replied that there is no plan to issue new shares - so "inflation" will be zero.

Quote
If no new coins are created does that mean this is more of a Proof of stake coin?
No. LKK' are issued as colored coins on the Bitcoin-Blockchain. This gives a good explanation/overview:

"The term "Colored Coins" loosely describes a class of methods for representing and managing real world assets on top of the Bitcoin Blockchain.

While originally designed to be a currency, Bitcoin's scripting language allows to store small amounts of metadata on the blockchain, which can be used to represent asset manipulation instructions. For example, we can encode in a Bitcoin transaction that 100 units of a new asset were issued and are now credited to a given bitcoin address. A colored coins wallet can create a Bitcoin transaction that encodes sending 50 units of an asset from one address to a new address, and so on.

(...)"

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Colored_Coins

Or this site: http://coloredcoins.org

So, there won't be any kind of "mining" or "staking". But once Lykke will be profitable and company and shareholders should decide not to reinvest profit, Lykke will pay dividends to it's shareholders.

Quote
Since the coins represent stock in the company does it mean we will never have a situation where there is a reverse split or increase in the number of shares?
Like said above: Theoretically it would be possible that Lykke would issue new shares like companies do it from time to time. But there is no plan for that, so the number of LKK will neither decrease nor increase.

Quote

What powers the Lykee blockchain? Transactions from the wallet?
Since Lykke doesn't run on an own blockchain, but is build on top of the Bitcoin-blockchain and LKK are issued as colored coins (like all assets that are and will be listed on Lykke as exchange will be represented as colored coins) it's not needed. The Bitcoin-Blockchain is secured by the miners.
