shakaru informed me that it will be $17+ to ship, and 10 btc is currently under $50. While it doesn't make sense to outbid myself it is still a bargain and for a good cause, so 14 btc is my bid.

If you need a justification to bid 14btc, then I bid 13 btc. Smiley

I am hoping that there isn't a half day hold on funds (ie. cut off time 1:00am, then payments sent 12 hours later).

Pirate, could you clarify please ?

That appears to be the case with todays payout everything up to midnight CST last night payed out fourteen hours later...

Ever mine on Eligius?  Sometimes you can wait for days before you get your payout.  Does your job pay you each day right as you are leaving work? Chill out.  14 hours isn't that long, really.

The number of people now waiting for cards and commenting about it is a little discouraging.

Its really in everyone's best interests if you take the time to calculate the amounts now and provide some documentation to that effect.

OK, I'll try. And I would also like to heard about shakuru's report if he could bring up their records. But if the records was missed, the only way would be calculate by myself for sure!

Well calculate and pm it to me or OP and we'll compare it to what Shakaru comes up with.

Well, the reason I was saying $350 was a fair offer was because if you sell it for $400 on eBay.... eBay jacks 9% of that, leaving you with $364.

$350 offer would be fair for some guy that's done a lot of deals and ppl know isn't going to screw them over.  Maybe not for someone making a first time deal, I guess.

They've been going for $450+ on fleabay.

They've actually been coming down from what I have seen.  I will admit I'm not stalking them on a daily basis on there, but I do watch.
1546  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 5970 x1 5870 x2 on: February 28, 2012, 03:44:49 PM
Looking to sell these this week. They are in great condition and have only been mining with them for about a week.

425 obo for the 5970

200 obo for the 5870

(all cards are reference cards)

Good luck with those prices.

Have you seen https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=66337.0 ?

funny thing is that prices fluctuate.. I ask what I ask, and even put or best offer up.  There is nothing wrong with that.

I have put these on ebay and will see what happens now.

By the way  if you dont like my prices, why not make an offer? I mean you do know what obo means dont you?

Because my offer for the 5970 would be (is) $300.

Hi imsaguy,

My address:
12oXQubjy62tvBr9AykDBCLE6ngfGsPW3C

I have bought 1 year 6Gh/s contracts from SDM plus 120BTC loan (to shakuru). There're some BTC had been mining/paid by the contracts, but I can't calculated the accurate amounts for now. I'm OK with letting shakuru cleaned and reported them latter. Thanks!

I need 3 more 5970s for my hashing farm conversion so seeing prices fall below $350 would be nice.  Hell everyone should stop buying 5970s (they are hot, noisy, and power hungry) and buy BFL FPGA it is a much better deal  (that way prices fall <$300 for me Smiley ).

I second this sentiment.

when will the invite open? or when will anyone be allowed to use GPUmax?

I am not sure if this has been asked before... Are you going to balance the amount of accounts to keep supply and demand in check or completely free market of joining and buying?

I know Pirate's been opening it up to the people that have signed up in batches.  I'm guessing that's to keep it balanced. If you want to GPUmax, sign up and wait until you get the email.  Its the same process that everyone currently using GPUmax has done. Sign up and be patient. Smiley

I had him take a pic w/ my name on a piece of paper with the gpu's and he obliged

@MrTeal I ordered 2

any update on this situation or did we all get scammed?  Embarrassed

A couple people had reported back that they got their cards, but its sounding like more people than not still haven't gotten them.
I've noticed that too, I sent him a pm asking for my tracking info a few days ago and still no response Sad

See the problem with his original posting is.. just because a guy has a ton of gpu boxes doesn't mean he actually still has the gpus. :-/

1557  Economy / Services / Re: Shades Minoco / Shakaru / Collections / Debt on: February 27, 2012, 04:44:50 AM
Hey imsaguy, the extra 10 btc that was donated about... 3.5? hours ago is from me. The first time he was in trouble way back in the summer (before sdm was established) and trouble happened and he need some btc for loan I loaned him some just to help out because he got scammed and was honest about it. I told him he could pay me back whenever (with the literal meaning of whenever as in some point in the future). I've been talking to him here and there (in college so pretty busy), sometimes about bitcoins, sometimes about life. So this time, with everything happening I wanted to help him in whatever way I could so I'm "loaning" him 10 BTC towards paying off his debt. Loaning is in quotes because it is with the same terms but looser this time. It is I'm giving this to you, but in the future if things improve and you can pay me back then contact me and I'll give you an address. It is essentially a gift to help him out so don't count it as a loan.

Now for the late post reason. I sent the btc from my desktop at home since that is where I store it all and the internet was down until right before I had to leave for a study group. So I sent it but didnt' have time to write all this. Hopefully this clears up the question about where it came from if anyone is wondering. I believe that Shakaru is true-to his word in whatever worth my words count for.

I'm sure multiple parties are grateful for your generosity, so on behalf of all of them, THANK YOU. Smiley

5btc for

equivialent $ pizza hut gift card. Must be edelivery.

What a shame, because I have a $25 physical card.

I am hungry, I can't wait 3 days Tongue

Can't a guy just type the gift card digits in when ordering online?  I could pm you the digits.

Just an update.. There's been a total of 20 btc deposited to the collection address with no dispersals.  I'd like to see if I can get a copy of shakaru's order book so I have a way to verify all claims.  I don't want someone that's already gotten what they paid for to be requesting a refund.  No one likes a double dipper.
