201  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: May 01, 2015, 08:23:29 AM
Download and running at the speed of ~340 Kkey/s with CPU. Tried to use GPU but it throw me a OpenCL.dll missing error. I know this is nothing related to Vanitygen because I always get this error when trying to play high-end game. However, anyone know how to fix this error?
Install GPU drivers.

How? Anyway, generated a three letters vanity address - 1JTKeHGEjFtJ3X2M8TCt1WvT1e2cDkgUHf (J: jack, T: the, K: king).
Find it out yourself. You have advertising all over your account, so dont expect free help/support Wink

Thanks lifeforcepools,

Still not working though. Do you have a sample config file. I am using the latest wallet that I know of.  v0.6.3.0-unk-beta

Okay never mind I got it working by adding another set of nodes.

addnode=86.18.76.197
addnode=70.163.93.50
addnode=176.62.118.224
addnode=68.51.222.33
addnode=83.162.222.190
addnode=70.169.221.184
addnode=96.248.105.2
addnode=72.78.100.9

v0.6.4 is newer... https://github.com/overware/BBQCoin

I decided to come out of the shadows and confirm that Cryptsy ANC deposits and withdrawals are working great!
My friends and I are trying to get as any wallets connected to the network as possible. We're also phasing our mining over to ANC. Smiley
be sure to enable I2P

"Voting" with coins is scam... That's not voting at all.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Datacoin] Datacoin blockchain start announcement (Minor code upd + logo) on: April 17, 2015, 09:31:47 AM
any news from Datacoin??

Yeah, they always were hard to talk with... And as I understood from the comments by now they have ran long ago Sad

Though I still think it's a nifty idea, others have found better solutions and kinda made Datacoin obsolete :/

That said, I am still fully synced and have 3 nodes connected...

144.76.123.194
80.74.157.31
198.12.12.83

Peace!

209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: April 14, 2015, 02:52:27 PM
My clearnet wallet has not been updating for the last 3 days and has been displaying the following:

Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade.

What to do?

P.S  I am a noob ....... so please go slow while explaining......

Thanks in advance...
you said it yourself, your only using clearnet!
use I2P.
windows build are old and lack the DNSSeed.

Hi all! Now it has finally happened at Cryptsy (almost unbelievable)! ANC is not under maintenance anymore!  Now we will reach the moon. Finally! Go check yourself (when logged in): https://www.cryptsy.com/users/balances .

>Hi!

>Just saw that ANC and IXC are not "under maintenance" anymore. Does this mean I can freely deposit and withdraw these coins?

Hello *****,
Thank you for contacting us.
Yes, ANC and IXC wallets are back online. You can now deposit and withdraw your coins.
Feel welcome to connect if you have further issues. Make it a great day! Smiley

Sincerely,
Stephanie

If the coin can be forked and add PoS to it.

yes of course, we need even more coins, more inflation! what could go wrong...
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: April 06, 2015, 10:41:12 AM
hey anyone know what the deal is with cryptsy are they insolvent there wallets been in maintenance forever..  Huh Huh Huh
they fail to broadcast transactions becuase they have a clearnet only setup. if they would activate I2P, this problem could be overcome.
the next releaese will fix these issues.
213  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: April 02, 2015, 03:45:15 PM
How to remember bitcoin address ?

Any services can generate BTC addy with 8-10 characters ? Thanks
Several - see earlier in this thread - but you'll generally have to pay for it, and 8-10 characters is quite costly.
Like to generate 1BTC888com it could take up to a year to get 50% on my single gtx 780ti that is running 50Mkey/s and it also depends on your luck. It could take more or less. Maximum is 2.4 years. If you have serious luck you could do it in a week but that is extreme luck.
With case insensitive you can reduce the time to find a patter alot, if you are happy with it.

you can reach mine @ multicoin.co. It's also a place where BCX can be mined and exchanged for BTC. (or kept if you set that in your settings)

Ahmed
cant add your pool, its unreachable. what ip/hostname is your battlecoind running on?
Code:
$ nc -v -z -w 10 multicoin.co 8715
nc: connect to multicoin.co port 8715 (tcp) timed out: Operation now in progress
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BCX.... ()==[:::::::::::::> << BATTLECOIN >> ︻╦╤─ - - Official thread on: April 01, 2015, 11:43:41 PM
yea...
seems its forked
So, BCX remains borked?  We still need a dev to fix the coin?
forked != borked
read my post above.
a propper DNS seed and a new build would fix connectivity issues and hence reduce the risk for a split network.
you can add the nodes i've posted above and you should be fine. tough its unfortunate that there are only 2 public reachable BCX nodes that my client is aware of.
