Anoncoin finally has a real-time exchange. Time to say the laggy craptsy goodbye!

Check it out https://bleutrade.com/exchange/ANC/BTC Smiley

It would be good if some ppl could help bootstrap it.

We need new features in the wallet -- encryption support. Otherwise the volumes are really low.

I suggest this feature be released the same day when scrypt ASICs will be out.
encryption wrt? Wallets already can be encrypted.

Encrypt the protocol.
Thats quite useless and not feasible anyway.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: May 23, 2014, 04:58:21 PM
Do stealth addresses will be implemented in Anoncoin?
No. there is no need for it and offers less anonymity than zerocoin

Is it easy to setup another blockchain explorer for anoncoin? I'm having issues finding a working one. Could I maybe throw a couple coins some way to help with hosting? I'm still hashing it out with Cryptsy and it would be nice to track TXids a bit easier to my wallet. I love them, don't get me wrong, and they usually fix stuff eventually... just... yeahhhhhh. Is 6/1 looking likely?
use this http://api.altexplorer.net/chains
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: May 23, 2014, 05:32:45 AM
Just a 'heads up':  the hashfaster ANC pool is not doing automatic payouts and there is no provision for manual payouts.

I put in a ticket to support on May 19, three days ago and the situation still has not been resolved, although they did ask
whether I was still having trouble on the 20th.
use p2pool to avoid such problems Wink
547  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: May 22, 2014, 06:33:04 PM
this should be plug and play into other altcoins

Actually there's nothing needed from Trezor side for altcoin support. At least LTC is supported out of the box and other altcoins are matter of few lines. Ask your favourite altcoin devs to add Trezor support to their clients :-).
can you link some references on this? il want to give it a shot Wink
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: May 21, 2014, 04:07:38 PM
So now what? Will Anoncoin implement ZeroCash or ZeroCoin?
I'd like to know that too.
ZeroCoin, we never said we would implement anything else.
ZeroCash is based on trust, ZeroCoin isnt
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source XPM Pool + GPU Miner (aka. madPrimeMiner) on: May 20, 2014, 02:28:24 AM
Can someone point me towards the windows binary version of this miner for solo? the only miner i can find is for a pool that is now shutdown?

You have to modify the miner with the following: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=602292.200 . After that, compile and it should run fine.

Can this solo version mine other altcoin cloned from XPM ?

Which altcoin is cloned from XPM?
datacoin for example
550  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptostocks - BTC,DVC,LTC denominated Stock Exchange/Crowdfunding Platform on: May 16, 2014, 04:03:21 PM
don't trade on cryptostock

kumala is a fucking scammer

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=569037.0

Why trust a centralized asset exchange when Nxt has a decentralized one.

I switched, and a lot of people will switch.
references pls, no marketing Wink
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BETARIGS.COM - Cryptocurrency cloud mining - thousands of rigs available! on: May 15, 2014, 05:50:09 PM
MUX or NYD

I am fucking sick of these renters lying about performance and leaving bad reviews. Even after I provide screens shots, logs I hear nothing back from them except a bad review afterwords.

I have filed tickets about this in the past and provided ample evidence. Betarigs's can see for themselves the renters are lying, yet they leave these fraudulent reviews and you refuse to remove them?!?!

WHY ARE THESE LYING REVIEWS NOT REMOVED?

What are you two going to do about it!!!

These graphs are causing a nightmare. I have had nothing but complaints and questions since they were put in effect. I even had a graph display garbage with a vertical scale of 1000gh/s (for a 66mhs rig). Luckily I contacted the renter before they freaked out.

I have another rig owner renting my rig and leaving a false review? Clearly there is no conflict of interest there. Should I rent his rig and lie about it to even the score?
i had the same problem.
check my posts here explaining how i made their plans fail: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=434464.msg6317138#msg6317138
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it me or is Darkcoin the only coin with real potentional? 100% anonymous wow. on: May 14, 2014, 02:11:06 PM

And how do you protect against a user that create tons of sockpupet-addresses to map anonymized addresses ?

They don't have access to that information, I believe.

If you want to double check, ask the Darkcoin devs.
"I believe" Are we in church now? So you write posts but dont even understand what your talking about?

And yes, with coinjoin everyone participating has this information!
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 12, 2014, 06:33:05 PM
People, if you make multiple posts (in example by replying to multiple posts) please post it in a single go.
That way more information fits on a single page, and it looks cleaner.

(Especially looking at you, gpuminer Smiley)
you can use the ignore function.
554  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptostocks - BTC,DVC,LTC denominated Stock Exchange/Crowdfunding Platform on: May 11, 2014, 11:39:42 PM
you really think it will return? Kumala pulled the vircurex scam asset on VCX, breakin its contract. Kumala freeze Vircurex assets.
Next thing happening is the freezing of Cryptostocks assets.

556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | cPoW | PC mining | Stability on: May 11, 2014, 12:38:00 AM
It needs more hype to grow, some reason to get people to buy and use it.
And probably, less people with reprogrammed bitcoin FPGAs dumping it.
show me a FPGA which has a quark bitstream

I haven't seen one yet...just read about some chinese dudes and x11 fpga's but it doesn't seem to be possible right now, at least for it to be WAY better than a gpu.
better in terms of hashrate?
FPGA's are about lower power Wink

oh my fault. you need to install libcurl4-openssl-dev not libncurses. sry for reading the logfile wrong!
shame on me  Sad
It appears i already have libcurl4-openssl-dev installed
