If someone want to trade out of exchange, please pm me.

I would but my coins are stuck in a mining pool which won't move anything until the wallet is fixed.  I had several transfers from the pool to cryptsy go missing a month ago now but without a working block explorer and neither the pool or crypsty willing to do anything until the wallet is fixed (and no sign that anyone is ever going to actually fix the wallet) the whole thing looks like a loss at this point.
i didnt know my block explorer is down! well, it isnt...
that "good" pool should have mined their own txs, then you would have recieved your coins for sure!

as this will "never" be fixed, i unfortunately cant offer to mine your stuck tx for free... seems that the develop branch on github is written by a nonexistent person.
if you would have used an address from your own wallet (i presume you dont even have one), you could have given me the tx to mine for you!
are miners nowadays so stupid, that they use an address for rewards which dosnt even belong to them? probably not a miner, rather a dumper.

TL;DR: sarcasm

My I2p only node has been up ten days now and has five peers.
in I2P everyone is a server. hence the sturation is more divided among all the peers. nothing to worry about.
if suddenly there are not enough servers with free slots.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: November 24, 2014, 05:19:27 PM
No connections, what can I do?

thanks.
Build from current git if you have problems and only use it on clearnet.
Use I2P if this is ok for you, you should not get any connection issues in this case.

Thank you K1773R, I got 1 connection now.

Syncing...
You will get more. In I2P mode it takes some time to connect to other peers.

Multisig testing?

Quote
1 Satoshi Multisig:

There are 16,848 multisig addresses with a 0.00000001 balance. Why? who knows…
example: https://blockchain.info/tx/045727591618d2154239956332f307c754a52c0e7896856a05848ec7065db1c3
No. Its a script that uploads/downloads arbitrary data to the blockchain by abusing multisig.
Keep looking "inside" the blockchain to find it.

i've build from git but im only able to connect to two nodes.
please add a DNSSeed or/and give us a list of working nodes (IPv4).

Try http://syscoin.market. I will post a list of addnodes in 30 min when I get home.
Thanks. Seems something is wrong with the code itself. it dosnt try to connect to nodes itself, unless told so with addnode <node> onetry or addnode= in a conf file...

Well, regardless, here is a list:

Code:
addnode=107.170.15.21:8369

addnode=24.250.6.168:62893
addnode=92.49.247.64:65378
thanks. i only took the ones with port 8369 since the others usually are UPnP nodes which are unreliable.

www.datacointalk.org leads to storj.io.

mstg (mstfck?) I see you are making contributions to both Storj and Metadisk as well.  Does this mean you are working on both Storj and Datacoin?  Are you maintaining the integration between Datacoin and Storj?

Thanks very much for datacoin.js.

it seems he took the domain for more visitors @ storj.io
he could have forked the original datacoin repo, instead he created a new repo (this is a shady process).

Is there a timeline for the tx fix?  We have a lot of customers wanting to withdraw funds, but we can't do that until the wallet will properly send them.

thanks
richie@bittrex
We are working on a 0.9.3 codebase.

In case you dont want to wait long, see below for a possible "hotfix" solution.

TXs bigger than 100KB are picked up by me and also by someone else, so they should get included in a block within some time.
If you are unable to broadcast your tx, please rebuild from latest (git HEAD) source. If this donst help, then i can happily (re)broadcast all your TXs for free until this gets resolved.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: November 13, 2014, 05:11:49 PM
Are there deterministic builds available for the binaries? In other words if I compile the source for Windows or Linux in a known way will I get the same SHA256 sum on the output executable? I think this is important for an anoncoin but of course must not be a high level priority just yet given the other work you guys are up to.
i dont think meeh kept the gitian scripts up to date.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: November 11, 2014, 08:11:15 AM
We currently have 2 DNSSeeds. I and keystroke are operating them currently.
If someone has problems to find clearnet nodes, please build from current src (master) and you should always have plenty of connetions.

https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/commit/f8848032d4491356318e65e29d87306ab58007e0
https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/commit/4ea0247c79b6fd8f702c35a454c5c87291fe180b

Glad I could help! The DNSSeed should be very stable but if there are any issues ever just message me here and I will check them out. I also have an anoncoin node running on static I2P.

I am speaking to a friend who might be able to do an Android wallet as well. (I have been looking through the bounties.)

Also, is the "Publication of an article about bitcoin-related privacy/anonymity solutions on a cryptocurrency or internet-privacy web site." bounty open? If so I will take care of that. Smiley
wrt bounties -> talk to lunokhod/Meeh.

Hi,

I tried to compile the latest source (0.3.0) on a RaspberryPi with raspbian running.
The dependencies are installed except for miniupnpc, but I disabled UPNP in the makefile.unix

I got error messages when executing "make -f makefile.unix" and don't know what to read from them:

Anoncoin open bounties: SEED NODES

Anoncoin is looking for volunteers to help with seed nodes (clearnet, DNS, and i2p)

The normal clearnet seed nodes will be hardcoded into the software, and will be used by the client to reach the anoncoin network, especially in the case of a DNS failure. Given that these IP addresses (which must be static) will be hardcoded, the volunteer will need to run the Anoncoin client 24/7 for a long period of time.

Bounty: 5 ANC per IPv4 address (40-50 wanted)

We are also looking for volunteers to add their I2P public destination&b32-address to the source code as I2P seed nodes. These addresses must be static since they will be hard-coded in the software.

Bounty: 5 ANC per public destination&b32-address on I2P (5-10 wanted)

Finally, we are also looking for DNS seed nodes, which are a bit more complicated to run (see How to run a DNS seeder). For this, you must have an IP number that can be used for Anoncoin on port 53/UDP, and a domain name.

Bounty: 150 ANC per DNS Seed (2-3 wanted).

For more information, see the Anoncoin wiki. For additional questions, please contact myself, or better yet, K1773R. As always, the easiest way to get info is on the #anoncoin IRC channel.

Please send seednode info to myself by PM or by mail at lunokhod@i2pmail.org. The bounties will be paid out one month later to ensure that the seednodes are stable.

wrt clearnet seednodes, il get in touch to you about it. it is obsolete now.

I just started a node which I can run for a long time into the future. I would also like to run it as a DNS seed node. It is a very well connected dedicated server with excellent uptime. Can someone from the project PM me so we can get this set up?
ACK
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] sgminer v5 - new unified multi-algorithm on-the-fly kernel switching miner on: November 06, 2014, 08:58:50 PM
We added NeoScrypt algo to NiceHash/WestHash. Sellers, make sure to use latest Sgminer 5.0 develop version, since cgminer-neoscrypt 3.7.8 has extranonce bug (you will only receive "Share above target" with cgminer-neoscrypt 3.7.8 on our stratum servers)!

Sgminer 5.0 develop source: https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/tree/develop

Sgminer 5.0 develop windows binaries: http://cryptomining-blog.com/3735-new-sgminer-5-development-version-with-neoscrypt-support/

BTW: it took as a bit longer to implement proper validator because we were testing on cgminer-neoscrypt 3.7.8 and only today figured out that the issue is with the extranonce bug in cgminer-neoscrypt 3.7.8 ... we really don't understand why they even used such an old buggy version of cgminer for neoscrypt implementation ... bwah!

MultiAlgo users : either update to Sgminer 5.0 develop or disable NeoScrypt factor until you update to this miner. You can disable a particular algorithm by setting f8=0 .... for example f0=1;f2=0.5;f3=4;f4=3;f5=500;f6=3.5;f7=16;f8=0 ... more info on https://www.nicehash.com/multialgo/#finetuning (of course, since NeoScrypt is very profitable, we suggest you to upgrade to latest Sgminer 5.0 develop as soon as possible).

Here are some key settings for Sgminer (of course, your mileage may vary):

Code:
"xintensity" : "64",
"worksize" : "32",
"kernel" : "neoscrypt",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "8192",

Why is solo mining still not possible with this new sgminer ?
because they dont follow the specs.

Is zerovert claiming to already have zerocoin implemented or that they are about to soon? I'm hesitant to believe them since anoncoin has been working on it for a while and zerovert just popped up out of nowhere.  Does anyone have any information about them?

They claim it's already implemented. Same dev as Vertcoin
Well, then its a lie.

What I have been asking myself from the beginning: Is it just me or is it common practice in Abe, that an update/changing of the HTML-template is not reflected, until the database is build up again? Or am I doing something wrong? Just changed some HTML in the template (again) and it does not show up on the frontend. Would not like to rebuild the database again from the whole blockchain ...

Any idea?
You dont have to rebuild the DB, just restart Abe.

OK, I will try that. What command would you use for that? killall or anything better?

Edit: just restarted the server ... Wink
if you run it over FastCGI, restart your webserver.
if you run it with the Abe's internal HTTP server, just restart this Abe instance.
