perhaps the fact that all the BCH created instantly out of the BTC mined to date compared to BTC created over the last xyz many years  so that's a hell of alot of sell pressure (compared to BTC) all at once, with less buy the BTC (because of doubts in BCH), crash was always going to happen............

older coin from early days, still got a strong dev team and decent community. none of the bs associate with 10001 crap coins since.

i think it'll come through soon enough especially with all the bs hype over older coins going segwit and whatever else flavour of the day comes along. it's not controlled by limited interest groups like btc n ltc nowadays....totally a community type opensource project ie the way it should be!

ftc could become the new ltc  

if enough users where interested i would work on getting it listed on an exchange. seems to be enough clients up and some mining being done now.

i'm lost at why people give ICOs the time of day in the first place 

because majority of people know BCC ticker is already taken by BitConnect (currently 12th on coinmarketcap 400 mil marketcap so not an insignificant coin)....and likely to cause a ton of confusion when all of the above is listed.

isn't there a 3rd option of just the original bitcoin continuing on and avoiding either of these garbage alts? or its bitcoin proper dead?

i'm a tad confused by ETC re what is an actual safe working wallet 

i gave up on ETC awhile back due to jaxx wallet being crap ie splitting payments making it hard to send any payments without a big manual followup to any service i transacted with.

also not a fan (well its crypto 101 to avoid) storing wallets/coins on any online source.

so now i found myself with another lot of etc (via trading), is there any proper safe and usable wallet?

i think ltc is very much for the brave atm; depends alot on whether btc gets its development sorted  

All being said interesting weekend for feathercoin.

I'll make no prediction just observation for my own entertainment purpose.

Block halving is now approx 1 day 7 hours a way  Network hashrate has been climbing, buy support up significantly

(note; I'm long very long, just finding watching the market at this point in feathercoin's history entertaining, and educational).

theres never been a straight path forward for bitcoin so i don't expect one in the future either, can't see anything but a rough road ahead, so thats going to be a fun ride for litecoin..either way  

if you look through the forum history you'll see i was very critical of neoscrypt including thinking it would kill the value of ftc and later always giving it as the main reason ftc fell so low.
i bailed and kept away from ftc for the longest time due to neoscrypt. though now for various other reasons (including the state of mining control in btc ltc etc) i've come around to attempts like neoscrypt.

as for pumps, while i do think ftc has potential to be pumped on/around blockhalving, i'm not a fan of pumps at all especailly when as with all previous ftc pumps it quickly returns to previos lows, which doesn't do any coin any favors.

obviously if everyone plans to sell around some news they percieve will cause a pump it actually has the opposite effect., simple math eg isn't much of a mystery to proper traders when real world stock are sold down on good (or even great) news.

i'm neither pumping or dumping ftc as i'm very long in it (and have been through previous pumps).

i do think feathercoin has potential to geniuely be a top coin., alot of work and alot of time between now and then, but it has more potential then 10001 shitcoins and icos that are pumped out daily around here.

block halving is in 3 days 20 hours ish so we have the weekend before it, which is good timing for a pump over the weekend. even if no pump halving daily supply, all else being equal, should lead to a gradual rise over time, again all things being equal.
