well XEM is the coin...but yeah you're question is essentially the same as mine and more should be asking this instead of blindly pumping XEM. NO they are simply investigating blockchain technology (same as all banks on the planet) and looking at NEM technology's private blockchains off shoot Mijin, to save some corporate dollars and pigging back of a opensource communities hard work for corporate ends. IDK, i think its crap, and little interest to me. But hey, speculators watch the charts and invest in it.
NXT is one of the best platforms out there.
It should be well up in the top 5, but everyone looks to BTC and LTC.
Both are dinosaurs and I would love to see how they can operate in the long term with mass adoption.
Marketing is probably key, but that can cost money. And the the whole community has this responsibility to help in whatever way they can - dont leave it up to a handful of devs and complain that nothing is being done.
NEM belongs to you, as much as anyone else.

LTC has network affect as being the first BTC clone, that's it, nothing innovative about it. NEM is far more innovative, but obviously not as popular. As is ETH, NXT, Ripple, etc... The issue is that crypto by design will only succeed if everyone is spending, developing, mining on the same blockchain (much like the internet), regardless if that blockchain is the most "innovative". My argument is that Alts (including LTC) will end up dead unless they are pegged or have some kind of symbiotic relationship with BTC's blockchain. firstly litecoin is far from simply a clone of bitcoin, on launch just minor twigs yes but its progressed somewhat since then, also when it comes to innovation here, we are talking currency not a trip to mars (dollars aren't too innovative, and they've been doing just fine). currency is about trust, crypto might be cool and all in this backwater pseudo tech crowd, but to pretty much everyone else in the world, most coming out of this crowd has little trust. litecoin atleast has a known dev, has the proven and sound innovation that are behind bitcoin, with way less negative baggage and no anon dev holding a billion dollar bag. tbh any even (well almost) the shittest alt, could, if obtained decent adoptions levels become a usable currency, most these 2.0s have are a huge step backwards because of complete ignorance to KISS, which is what most the closet dwelling tech crowd are guilty of ignorance too. hell even Bitcoin and Litecoin are way way way too complicated for average joe's. but half the crypto crowd falls for the ol innovation to sell snake oil lines. i live eat breath in the real markets of the world, as a full-time daytrader, never met yet another trader or any business associate who would touch bitcoin., let alone any of these 2.0 hacks. i say litecoin is far from perfect in my eyes, its only slightly better, but then it suffers slighly less from what turns many off bitcoin. |

already have gone litecoin over bitcoin , guess that doesn't make too many friends in this main section. however litecoin as the leading alt most bitcoin users would support if major issues with bitcoin. i'm certain if bitcoin was too fail, although obviously a major setback. p2p currency would still survive and push forward. |

what will occur further?
xem price will long stand still and those who have nemstake as a result will understand that to sell expensively at them it won't turn out and will be ready to sell nemstake at price of 0.10 btc below. after there are no those nemsters to whom is what to sell only then we will see raise xem price. now i consider that xem price will freeze or even will decrease that as much as possible nemsters sold their nemstake for cheap and then didn't stir raise xem price. so 6 more months think xem price will stand still or fall. to fight belief off nemsters and that they majority were ready to sell them to nemstake and till 0.10 btc.
i think people that shortminded are out already people who hold their stake have patience for years to see what will happen out of their 0.1 BTC investment additional as i understand it they all lose the chance for the real silver coin if they sell the stake that coin alone will be worth a lot by itself i think that it will be impossible to receive real silver coin a long time. as told Makoto stamping of silver coins is still impossible at such very low CMC xem. now CMC xem it is equal 1 million dollars. later time we will see its falling to level of 500000 dollars, then to 100000 dollars, and then it will be up somewhere to standard in 50000 dollars. at such very low CMC xem stamping of silver coins will be impossible. so if they're using a stash of xem to pay for the silver coins, won't they have to sell said xem to pay which then with such large sell vol further lower the price? |

while i don't speak in anyway on behalf of the goldcoin community, i certainly wouldn't advise anyone to use cryptsy at this point in time (use search engine on this forum to see why). i myself had extreme difficulty in getting my goldcoin of cryptsy, and personally think use with extreme caution. while i don't endorse any exchange and think its wise to never store your coins on any, cryptopia (see op) also trades goldcoin, and i've had no issues purchasing and withdrawing goldcoin from them. |
