Realy active is a bit of a stretch as a forum devoted to a single coin its comparative very active and has been constantly active over the many years feathercoin's been around. daily posts by various people and views in the thousands on many threads (the top thread had 34.3 thousand views ).

my guess would be a big weekend for feathercoin The halving is coming, the halving is coming! Heard mirrax sold his ftc. Blew his load early if i do say so myself. lol yeh. tis not just about halving, feathercoin has a pretty motivated team, great community (with most big holders going long), solid devs, constant development (without mindlessly following the latest bs fad). would be the most undervalued coin, and many of us oldschool crypto people once considered ftc in the top 3 ie BTC, LTC, FTC. in my opinion ftc out of the 3 stuck more to satoshi's original plan.

Apparently, the GDAX Ethereum megaflashcrash was due some huge amount that came from the genesis block dumping all at once into the market and triggering this shitshow.
Apparently, the genesis block had 72 million premined coins that was kept between the developers (wtf)
Honestly, how isn't ETH anything but a mess?
Calm down...lets not panic..... lets not jump to conclusions, maybe it was simply hacked oh wait ok maybe panic

as a real world ft trader for many years (and many years before i got into crypto) 100% agree on your views on TA (as i've often stated "i've meet many extremely wealthy traders, i'm yet to meet a wealthy chartist"), and yes counter culture is basically 101 howto trade. trading is kinda opposite world, people seem to be afraid to go against the crowd, i've been able to become a ft trader because i'm scared to follow the crowd....i think its nuts to follow the crowd in trading (though tbh don't care too much for the crypto picks). Thanks! ...But I didnt give any crypto picks ICN

FTC is mooning now
yes looking interest is increasing in ftc due to block halving soonish. Looking at FTC chart it looks like halving was already reflected in price. I advice to be cautious buying at this levels. Trying to figure out a good exit position. it's previously been at 17! now at 3.7. Think my biggest problem is I don't much understand what the halving's impact is on the coin fundamentally. blockhalving just means miners supply will half, so half each day of what miners dump on market, if demand remains the same, then the coin would rise and continue to do so over time (as demand would exceed supply). you'd expect a slow rise after blockhalving, however people tend to pump before such events and dump on such events. so shortterm a rollacoaster for the brave I see. So what's a realistic exit here? Current walls are between 3.8k-4k can't call that one as i have no plans on exiting ftc. i'm not in crypto purely to profit. comparing it to other cryptos imo ftc is well undervalued and should be a top 10 crypto.

I advice to be cautious buying at this levels. disagree completely, been larger upside over alot less, there's likely to be a huge upsurge this week. now i wouldn't disagree that after block halving (if people are buying to sell at blockhalving) there could be a pretty rapid drop. the rise itself has been hampered by people putting in sell orders ready for the rise, which is rather , however a proper pump like we saw last year and happen to many a coin this year, all these sell orders would be run over quickly.

i avoid any sort of premine, or ICOs on principle.

I'm thinking about buying some and this makes my decision actually easier! Actually I have a tiny bit from before but only a little not too many
Factom is an oldie but a Goldie imo! However, the Microsoft connection is tenuous
we is talking FTC feathercoin here not FCT

Be careful with the dump though. It IS coming! FTC is the oldest pump-n-dump coin! tbh i don't think we've seen the 'pump' yet, its been a long steady rise.
