441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: DEFIBENCH- an ecosystem of DeFi+NFT applications. on: February 06, 2021, 04:58:53 PM
DeFiBench is very different from other DeFi Protocols mainly as they want to make DeFi accessible to all and enable ‘one-click’ easy to use DeFi.

--snip--
Several existing NFT marketplaces have already approached DeFiBench asking them if they can auction some of their NFT’s!

--snip--

But basically they're a swap (with all of their features like interest and liquidity and things alike) platform and an NFT platform, right? So what's so different from other projects?

And about this marketplaces, I assume their name is hidden due to NDA?

Exchange Listing Schedule

1 : MXC   2021-02-15
2 : HUOBI GLOBAL   2021-02-21
3 : HOTBIT 2021-02-27
4 : BINANCE 2021-03-07

I don't know if this is too confident or really targeted, but as far as I remember Binance doesn't like one-sided announcements like this, whether it's a schedule or a target, even those who actually will be listed on Binance usually wait for the announcement from Binance first.

I think at this point we can rule it out as a blatant lie (be it for fomo or scam attempt), because I don't think binance will have an agreement with a project whose website is literally nothing as well as not having team details or even whitepaper.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Best Coin DEFI ALLOT on: February 05, 2021, 06:57:12 PM
Hi upon checking the website and the whitepaper posted, I observed that you copied exactly the whitepaper of divisionblock. A staggering 97% or approximately 2400 words were copied and stolen from divisionblock. Should you ignore my accusation against this project, I will be compelled to open a scam accusation against this project.

I don't think they'll come back to give any defense here, their last activity was about two weeks ago. Given the plagiarized content and inactivity, I think it is safe to say it's a hit and run, or at the very least a project with an extremely poor start
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Digital Oman Rial Stable Coin backed by Omani Rial Minting Begins on: February 05, 2021, 09:44:25 AM
How sure are you at the list of exchanges and their dates? Were a contract already signed about this and they're uncancelable? Or is it just or a rough estimate? Or (worse) it's just a marketing FOMO attempt?

I think this is the worst possible scenario, that is, the only thing that has been done (if so much has been done at all) is sending an email to the exchanges with a request for a listing coin.  Grin Grin

Best possible scenario, you mean? If it's true, then it's misleading and a very bad strategy to sell their product. Why should people buy from a project that's lied (even for the sake of marketing) from the very beginning?

About your benefit, how exactly will it works? Basically you promised a talent that venue and organizer will bid for them, an organizer that artist and venue will bid for them, and venue that artist and organizer will bid for them. Everyone bid everyone?

The dev of this project should be active here in the forum also. Though they are recently launched in the forum, there are several questions already thrown to them. Hope they can shed light to some important questions here. The concept is not new, but don't know a platform that is successful on this venture.

Actually, this raises more concern than assurance or credibility. Questions were asked by newbie accounts that seemed to not really caring if their questions answered or not, and the frequency of the posts were quite too high for a very recent thread. The pattern mimic a bumping service

The strength of any project is thus a community of people that actually understands and cares for the product and not just for the return. The BarnBridge team is looking to launch products which will actually democratize risk management which has been the niche for established players till now. That is a humungous but worthy target. Most people are too short-sighted to see opportunities in front of them. This is why that despite the efforts to democratize, you only end up with a very few enthusiasts at the top.

I think that is just the natural course of thing. Most projects try but they cannot do much about it. The other problem is the "Rich getting richer" syndrome. Finding a solution to this is pretty much the "holy grail" of democratization.

Yes, I couldn't agree more about this, many projects seems to be failed to see the importance of solid community. Several would even treat their community like second or third thought, failing to realize that those same people could destroy price if not attended. As well as I also believe that strength in numbers is also applied to some degree here. And with these thought said, what rough plans does barnbridge's team has in mind to boost their community's loyalty?

Yes, I agree.

Full dox will be on site and in whitepaper/litepaper , availlable soon(tm)
 Cheesy

With no intention at all to sounds like someone that's never satisfied and demanded more, but this details will also covers people who joined your team in the (near) future, right? Because on previous post you said about possibility of having a team.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PUBLIC SALE] YPro.Finance – Farm, Swap, Stake platform on: February 01, 2021, 07:33:24 PM
So YPro Token 1 Stage sale is finished and 2 Stage is ongoing right now. Also there are will be 3 Stage and Final Stage. Whay do you nedd so many stages?

4 rounds of token sale is not that uncommon. There are a lot of projects that went with at least 3 stages of token sale (private sale, pre-sale, and public sale)
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Craft Beer Token - CRFT - BSC-token to support the Hospitality Industry on: February 01, 2021, 06:34:10 PM
I've had a bad experience with crowdfunding close to home. I've done an indiegogo for my brewery a few years back and the hatemail and comments I got in my town for being a "beggar" where very stressfull. To the point I stopped promoting the crowdfunding and we didn't reach our goal by a long shot.

The crypto community seems safer in that respect, because they are "used to" ICO, ITO, ...
It has it's own shortcomings ofcourse, with the recent storm of rugpulls (sushiswap to name one). That doesn't distill confidence in anonymous projects. Although a lot of those are still going and doing great (Pancakeswap comes to mind).

I would lead, yes. Both in talks, representing (I'm not taking any of the 10+ offers I get daily on Discord   Shocked ) and the basics of the layout. That doesn't mean I wouldn't form a team around me! I'm in talks with some other pieces from the sector, also impacted but believe they can help carry some of the load off of the hospitality industry. From those partners/sponsors I would like to have at least 1 person/business represent this project per continent, so there is a possibility of 24/7 helpdesk for questions/onboarding/KYC-AML, .... Those would also buy some CRFT and have it locked in for a year, to fund the first part of the project.

I'll have to agree that crypto are better used to ICO, ITO, etc. (which, TBH, basically a fancy name of crowdfunding). Perhaps they'll be less judgmental for "beggar", suppose the project proposed are interesting. With that said, I am sure cryptospace also appreciate background-check-able developer team better than anonymous dev.

Yes, I remember you said you'll be easily found with small research (which, I myself were recently not able to spare some time to do so), but perhaps it'll be better if you directly provide that, it'll be more convenient for investors if they can easily see the team behind the project instead of having to guess.

As discussed previously that you are quite known in craft beer industry, as well as well trusted beverage supplier, I think the identity reveal will actually do you a favor in form of boosting investors' confidence.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BOND]BarnBridge: DeFi Protocol for Hedging Yield sensitivity; DAO SOON!! on: January 31, 2021, 04:07:41 PM
--snip--

It should be kept in mind that the total supply is 10 Million out of which a little over 2 Million are in circulation. The locked USDC/sUSD/DAI on the Pool 1 divides 32000 bond each week amongst the stakers. Those who provide liquidity on Uniswap (Pool 2) divide 20,000 per week amongst them. The risk-free Bond staking pool (Pool 3) divides 5000 tokens per week. This will come to an end on coming Sunday, Jan 31st. Post this, $BOND can be staked in DAO. With DAO launch, all of these things will be open to change as is the case with any other DAO.

Sorry, got a bit confused, current circulating supply is at ~2mil or is it around ~1mil (I got this number from your website). And still about token unlocking, the one you referred to end by 31 Jan is the token allocated for community, the 68% ones?
My mistake Miike. The current circulating supply is around 1 mil like you said.

The last epoch will start on 31st. This will be the last week for Pool 3 and we will have the launch of DAO after hopefully the audits come back clean. The actual distribution of the token will continue for 100 weeks starting from October 19th, 2020. You don't have to worry as that 68% distribution to community is well into the future..Smiley

Oh, I see. So the 100 weeks gradual release is not just for team allocation, but for community allocation as well. Understandable and quite fair.

One thing, though, a lot of projects with long gradual token unlocking are facing a situation where their token were stuck at one price because once the token price goes up, an unlock happen and "flooded" the total supply. It triggers a panic sell and price goes back down. And, this happens over and over. Departing from this argument, wouldn't it be better to sum those unlocking stages into smaller waves? Although the smaller waves means a bigger amount of token "flooding" the market.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SiFi]High interest savings through 5% trade fee redistribution mechanics on: January 31, 2021, 12:45:42 PM
--snip--

 (2) it allows smaller wallets to grow bigger over time, and at an increasing rate. Collectively, holding SiFi serves as a high interest community savings account.

Aside from the errors in link pointed by two users above, I'd like to know how is this achievable. As the interests is compounded and applies universally to every token holders, someone's wallet will always receive the same percentage of interest, disregarding what he accumulate, because that "growth" he got (in percentage compared to total interest distributed) were also experienced by every other token holders. The numbers of interest he got is percentage-ly the same everytime.

So in a scenario where everybody hold their token (as you state yourself on the earlier part of the paragraph I snipped) the claim of "increasing rate" is misleading.

Miiike:
Ah, yes. I get the confusion.
I'm still working in both businesses. As a brewer, I need to have my beers on stock so I have to brew more (8hr/day IF we brew, not that much lately as the demand is very low because the pubs are closed). As a beverage wholesaler, we also have a shop for regular customers. It's open from 9 to 18h. It's not that bussy these days (lockdown + january is a slow month anyway). But I still need to be there and help the customer when he comes. It happens that I'm "free" for 30 minutes, but it also happens that I'm helping customers for 2 hours straight. In between there are times of 5 - 10 minutes between customers.

Both these businesses are heavilly affected. All personel and contracters are home, on government benefits. That extra breathingroom doesn't cover our expenses though and thus, since november I cut my own paycheck with 30% to keep the businesses in a reasonable position.

I'm the sole provider (wife got sent home from her own job, also on government benefits which is 65% of regular income the first year and drops to 40% after that. Since the first lockdown in March 2020) for our household. Me, my wife and 4 kids aged 11, 9, 6 & 1.5

As my businesses are almost breaking even (small loss, but reserves and knowledge of the above mentioned bankloan we *could* take up), I do not need the money from this project. But a lot of my brewing collegea aren't so lucky and a lot of our wholesale business clients (pubs/restaurants) have it even worse.

I know of a few craft brewers that will probably disappear, both close to home and international. I would like to help prevent that.

I've sunk most of my savings into the businesses, most of my crypto is gone to the family account to make sure we get through covid in one piece.
I'd love to put up all the money up front. But crypto and the internet is worldwide. If I offer this project to the hospitality & production industries, I'll need more funds than what I would be able to invest in it myself, that's just the hard truth. Because if this launches and there's a succesfull pub that does takeaway and receives CRFT, wants to enter the buyback program, I can't say: "I can do $xx ever week", he'll want the lump sum as soon as possible, if not directly.

I hope this explains it a bit. If you have further questions, please ask them.
Thanks for all your questions already, it shows I should put forth more information and that there might be blind spots for people looking into this project. This really helps, thanks!

A nice background info, quite detailed and cleared several things. It is inevitably raised one question though. Before moving to the question, just to be sure, this project will fund a group of independent home-industry beer crafters and your role here is as the token creator as well as the representative?  If so, as your job itself is on beverage industry, and that you supplied your beers to umm... places, wouldn't it be more practical if you reach real-world community through (I don't know what platforms currently most popular these days) kickstarter platform where people are perhaps better know your reputation instead of cryptospace?
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Craft Beer Token - CRFT - BSC-token to support the Hospitality Industry on: January 29, 2021, 05:25:01 PM
Hey Miiike,

Yes, that is 100% correct, it even says so in the original post

Quote
As a brewer and beverage wholesaler

I am affected.
I might need help if this drags on for another 6 months, but my books are healthy, we have business loans ready that we didn't take up but did sign in the first lockdown, march 2020 (we can take them up untill q4 2021). But I have collegea that aren't that well off, put in all their savings but are still very close to closing. Not many service providers (music/software/...) stopped billing them.

It's for my collegea, the industry and for the great products and experiences they create.

Thanks for that question. Maybe I should have addressed that better in the original post?
Anyway, always happy to clarify

And about finding me, it's a small twitter chain but if you want you'll find me (send me a DM if you do  :p  )  Grin

Ahh... no, I think the description is quite clear. I was just a bit confused because on the next post, you said you have a day job, that seemingly rather took your time and hinders you from finishing website and whitepaper soonest possible. I got confused because it implies you are not that... jobless and/or greatly affected by covid, because you're still employed. The second implication was, of course, that you have an at least steady source of income (your paycheck) that probably can be tweaked and managed and budgeted to fit and funds this project yourself (if you're really passionate about it) rather than "borrowing" from people and pay them back with buyback, especially as you're rather concerned with your reputation. I'd love to hear back your insight about this matter.

Hey mandor, miiike, necromastery,

--snip--

But to be frank, Yes I'm going to do a full DOX. It will probably be on the website soon(tm). The only thing I'm kind of "scared" for is my reputation in the niche and my opsec as a "crypto project leader"... But that doesn't way up to what I owe potential investors: full transparencyi!

--snip--

About reputation, that reminds me that I am intended to ask about it. Just a simple curiosity about your background, because I got this impression after reading the entire posts on this thread, and again strengthened by your confidence that people will find you by name, I haven't do any digging yet, but am I right to assume that you are a pub/brewery owner who got affected by covid's lockdown?
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥 [ANN] Lattice |DEX|Interoperability|Scalability|DeFi 🔥🔥 on: January 29, 2021, 03:43:48 AM
Is there a bridge between constellation and ethereum?

Not right now, but there will be, at one point in the near future (planned to be on Q2 2021 according to roadmap). If you didn't notice LTX itself was built on etherchain, it is planned to have the ability to crosschain to constellation. And with it, also the possibility of other ERC-based token to constellation and vice versa.

This is a direct quote taken from their whitepaper

Quote
In the first phase, Lattice will first be developed on the Ethereum blockchain for transaction settlement. Liquidity from throughout the DeFi ecosystem will be aggregated and order matching will be improved. Lattice will aggregate the liquidity from various existing dexes to create better pricing and less slippage for traders. Additionally, users can supply liquidity to the exchange pools on the platform to earn trading fees. A cross chain bridge will connect the ERC-20 ecosystem with the Hypergraph ecosystem allowing for fluid interaction. This creates a meta-ecosystem of interoperable feature-rich blockchain technologies that enhance each other in their value.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Craft Beer Token - CRFT - BSC-token to support the Hospitality Industry on: January 28, 2021, 10:03:47 PM
Hey asyakashi,

That's a very valid point. At the moment I'd like to remain pseudo-anonymous (who digs deep enough can easily find out who I am) for my opsec.
Once there are funds to work with, I'm obliged (to you and myself) to come out and make myself known. Personally I set the softcap very low. Even if it's a few $xxx, that would make me able to start at least locally.
But I'd like to have at least some sponsors, partners or investors before I put my face and reputation out there for eternity...

We can always do a 1-on-1 on Discord or twitter but I preffer not to get too ahead of myself as I've already launched without a website or whitepaper.

Isn't this logic a little bit reversed? As you (and mostly every crowdfunding projects out there) basically asking for funds here, you need to prove your credential as a sign of good intention before asking for funds, and not after funds are collected.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥 [ANN] Lattice |DEX|Interoperability|Scalability|DeFi 🔥🔥 on: January 28, 2021, 10:59:46 AM
Just an idea that crossed my mind while reading about how Constellation will make it possible for user to create their own token, how possible is it to integrate this plan into Lattice? What'll be the team's thought about having it possible for some tokens built on constellation chain (that certainly has passed legitimacy test and quite popular) or perhaps crossed chain with DAGchain to be voted every once every certain period, and the winner gets listed, for free, in Lattice?
