14601  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Lending Bots on: July 04, 2017, 12:12:26 PM
Last month I setup this bot https://github.com/BitBotFactory/poloniexlendingbot in my own server.

You won't get a lot obviously. But if you want to HODL your coins for some time and can risk having some Bitcoins on Poloniex, you can make some little cash.

If I remember correctly I was getting something like 7% APR.
14602  Economy / Digital goods / Re: CSGO Keys Shop | UP to -50% (Vouch Available) on: July 04, 2017, 12:48:59 AM
How are you guys willing to sell 100 keys for $130? That's $1,3 per key and anybody can sell keys automatically for $2 each using any Key4BTC bot available on Steam.

So why would someone lose $70 in this kind of transaction? How do you guys profit with this kind of sales? Looks like scam in my opinion.

Also, trusted by almost every big CSGO trading/betting website that I know? CS:GO Roll, Drake Lounge, OPSkins, G2A... but where is the proof of this partnership?
14603  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [$20][node.js] CharredBot - CS:GO Key / BTC trader - Start your own shop! on: July 04, 2017, 12:16:54 AM
Can you prove that you are CharredGrass (the creator of this bot)? Just to make sure.

14604  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: missing BTC in Excodus wallet on: July 03, 2017, 11:17:47 PM
thanks Muhammed !

The transactions are visable until 29 juni and these are also in the blockchain.
Transactions (?) I made on july the first are nowhere..
And after the 2 error- messages I am missing 0.14 BTC

I did the rescan several times and I also recoverd my wallet.
No difference..

So I am wondering is there a way to check the wallet-saldo on date ?

Can you see if the two deposits that you made to Bittrex can be found on the blockchain when you search for the deposit address? Just to make sure if the transaction broadcasted on the network.

Did you already tried to uninstall the whole Exodus from your PC and restore your wallet after installing it again?
14605  Other / Meta / Re: How to embed youtube video in post? on: July 03, 2017, 12:21:32 AM

You can't simple because you are still a "Newbie". You need to be at least Jr. Member to be able to post images.
See that the image is shown in the quote above because I'm already a Sr. Member.

Disabled images get transformed into links automatically. When the poster becomes a Jr member, the images that he tried to post previously will automatically be re-enabled (though there might be a few minutes of delay).

14606  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinmarketcap technical help needed on: July 03, 2017, 12:13:07 AM
The Price Ticker Widget is just a HTML code that you can put on your website to show the latest price of the chosen coin.

An API ticker is used to integrate all the data found in Coinmarketcap on your application. For that you should probably understand what is an API. In this case you could use the Coinmarketcap API to get all the data like "price in USD" and "24h volume" from any coin available on their site and use it on your website or application.

You can find all the API documentation here.

There are tools that use the Coinmarketcap API to show you all the data without having to access their website.

14607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What is the HD (bottom right) in Bitcoin Core client? on: July 02, 2017, 09:02:23 PM
This icon means that your current wallet isn't a HD wallet.

If you don't know if a HD (Hierarchical Deterministic) wallet is:

- An indicator has been added to the bottom right hand corner of the main window to indicate whether the wallet being used is a HD wallet. This icon will be grayed out with an X on top of it if the wallet is not a HD wallet.

14608  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 💳 Virtual VISA Card ✅ 0.50$ 🚀 Instant delivery 🅿️ PayPal-ready on: July 02, 2017, 06:15:22 PM
DON'T USE THIS SERVICE.

I was dumb and didn't searched properly before depositing $45 to buy a virtual card. I tried to buy some stuff on the internet and most of them refused the card for some reason. When I finally found one shopping website that accepted my purchase, I bought something worth $18.17 + $0.54 for the Foreign transaction fee. Unfortunally, the merchant refunded my purchase the next day because he had some problems on his stock.

The problem is that it's been 3 days and my balance is still the same. They didn't credited the money back on my card and even that I already sent them 2 support tickets, they never answer any of them. There are tons of options better than this big scam in the market.
Please avoid using Kardiz.
14609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation became really fast, what has happened? on: July 02, 2017, 05:19:07 PM
1 - Today is Sunday, which means we got way less transactions. At the moment I'm writing this, there are ~8700 unconfirmed transactions:
https://blockchain.info/pt/unconfirmed-transactions

2 - Someone stopped spamming the network and the mempool has a lot more space available. Check this graph:
https://blockchain.info/pt/charts/mempool-size

The average price per byte is still pretty expensive compared to the good old days as you can see on https://bitcoinfees.21.co
14610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: can not send small amounts on: July 02, 2017, 05:05:15 PM
That fee is higher than it should be. Which wallet are you using?

Did you received a lot of dust payments? For example, multiple low payments from faucets? If so, that's probably the reason your wallet is suggesting you to pay that much in fees.

14611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is The Best Way To Store Your Bitcoins Offline? on: July 02, 2017, 04:54:32 PM
Note that I won't be able to let the computer to fully sync with the network, so is it safe to create multiple Bitcoin address this way even if it the Bitcoin-core hasn't fully Synced yet? Also is it safe to use old versions of Bitcoin-core like version 0.11.1 ?
Yes. It's safe to create a wallet without being fully synced. Also, it would be better to use the latest version of Core.

2) Instead of Bitcoin core, I will use Electrum on this offline laptop and do the same thing as above. The problem here, is can I trust Electrum? and also I will be using an old version of electrum 1.9.8, so is it to use this old version?
You can fully trust Electrum. First, you are offline anyway, so you wouldn't have any problems on Electrum sending your private-key over the internet. The problem with old versions is always any security issue or critical bugs. Do some research to see if the version is functional and you will be ok. But always, it's better if you just use the latest version.

3) Download a paper wallet script and use it to generate multiple address, store these addresses and their private keys in multiple CDs and copy the addresses to a USB stick to transfer the addresses to my desktop computer so I can send my earned bitcoins there. My question is, which paper wallet script should I use and can I really trust it?
That's the best and safest I can think off: https://www.bitaddress.org/
You can even download their source and generate an paper wallet with your self-hosted script: https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org

14612  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopay Bitcoin Debit card + Giveaway on: July 02, 2017, 03:36:58 PM
I got the promo code but unfortunally I'm having an issue when I try to order the card.

In the "personal info" part, I put all my info (address, country, post code, ...) and after I click on the Continue button my page just refreshes and nothing happens. Not even a single error message.

I tried with two different browsers (Opera and Chrome).
14613  Other / Meta / Re: Help recover account from bitcointalk on: July 02, 2017, 03:27:43 PM
Still no response.

I sent a PM to Theymos, exactly following the instructions over a month ago.

Please can someone have a look.
It's unfortunally normal to wait that long. I already saw people saying they are waiting for over 2 months for a answer.
The only thing you can do is wait for Theymos to look at your PM and reset your account password.

He is the only one who can help you.
14614  Other / Meta / Re: Hacked Hero account. Can prove with bitcoin signed message on: July 02, 2017, 03:24:11 AM
How do you guys prove in situations like this that the account wasn't sold ages ago then years later someone comes back to claim it? Serious question. No offense to OP nor am I accusing him of anything.
Maybe prove that you bought the account showing PMs and prints of any convo? That's all I can think off since you can probably recover the account if you can prove you already owned that account any time in the past.

Some users also sell the staked address from that account to let the buyer "prove" his ownership over that account.
14615  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Video/book/article about bitcoin technical structure on: July 01, 2017, 10:25:16 PM
Here some of the first videos I ever watched to understand more about the technical side of Bitcoin:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5JGQXCTe3c - The Essence of How Bitcoin Works (Non-Technical)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9jOJk30eQs - How Bitcoin Works in 5 Minutes (Technical)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lx9zgZCMqXE - How Bitcoin Works Under the Hood

They are very easy to understand and are very well made. So if you are a full newbie, you may learn some basics.
14616  Other / Meta / Re: Why is this kind of spamm tolerated on Bitcointalk? on: July 01, 2017, 08:26:04 PM
As we are talking about spam here, I want to know if this is considered as (sig) spam or not. Please read the whole thread(only 1 page) before answering.
In this case the answer is: unfortunally no.

Everything Lauda said in her previous post is right:

Because the pretend 'anti-spam' rules & actions are mostly smoke and mirrors. Almost any kind of crap is tolerated except:
1) Referral links.
2) Plagiarism.
3) Classic spam bots.

You can talk all bullshit you want as long as it is not plagiarism or have a referral link.
14617  Other / Meta / Re: Why is this kind of spamm tolerated on Bitcointalk? on: July 01, 2017, 06:22:07 PM

-snip-
It depends a lot on the opinion of who is reading the post and managing the campaign.

In my opinion: Yes.

Because everything he says in his post has already been answered and quoted more than once in previous comments or it's simple wrong. If you have nothing to contribute in the post, then do not comment. This is my opinion at least.

Some managers are more rigid about this type of post, and others are not so much. So generally there is nothing to be done.

It is a safe online wallet if you will save your password and your 12 words provided from them for the recovery of your account while if you lose them then no one will be able to recover your wallet.
Already said by you (Muhammed) in one of the first posts.

In this case better is that you join any other online wallet.
What does that even mean?

And in the last as everyone said you will never access to your bitcoin in the time when they go down and any site often face that issue so try to keep some of your funds in any other wallet too as you may need them in any emergency
You are able to backup your wallet from Blockchain.info and access your wallet if the website is ever offline. Incorrect information.
14618  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Accidentally sent less bitcoins for the Uquid deposit on: July 01, 2017, 03:44:17 PM
The only thing you can do is contact their support explaining the situation or posting your issue in the UQUID official thread. I'm pretty sure they will help you recover your funds.

That's also the wrong section to post this. Please move your thread to the Service Discussion or Exchanges board.
14619  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Macintosh multi coin wallets on: July 01, 2017, 03:39:54 PM
Jaxx security breach was solved, and freewallet is not available for Ios and you have to download one app for each coin...
Any link to support this claims? I couldn't find anything about that from Jaxx but a comment from someone from their team saying they won't fix the issues.

Taking advantage of the recent bump of this post, I would like to say that I recommended Jaxx last month but because of all the recent issues, it's better if you use Exodus to store your altcoins.

Is the giveaway still going on? If so, I would like to request one to be used on my online purchases (mainly Steam/Netflix/Spotify)

Can I use the promo code to get a physical card or only the virtual one? Thanks!
