Its a shame that cricket has all become about money, yes I understand that players need money to live like the rest of us but its seems that ever since the IPL started, its now more about the money then playing cricket which then makes it hard on the countries where money wasn't an issue but now is. I also think the board also have to come to the table and pay players more money but they need to find the balance. Back in the 90's players were earning peanuts compared to now but back then they were playing because they loved to play cricket but now days money has taken over the game and its mainly due to the IPL. If this continues, then we'll see teams like SA and the WI die off from international cricket which we don't want to see.

Will Solaris also stake when it is left on StakeCube as it is a staking coin but I haven't seen anything about this. I might just send some XLR over to StakeCube and see as it could be another way for people to stake who don't own a lot of XLR.

It is possible to still run the French Open, If the organisers take the Australian Open
and how they handled their competition as an example it would be possible.

At the AO players had to quarantine 2 weeks in advance in Australia and had very
strict practice rules, limited or no spectators and the competition was able to function.
Yes you are right they should run the french open since they are organising other sports competitions plus the covid is under control at the very least they should strickens the rules and they can do it without spectators same as in other sports so we can enjoy the games on the tv.

I agree, they should go ahead with the French Open as planned and follow the strict rules that the AO went by. I know players won't like the strict rules but its better that the rules are in place then to have a massive outbreak end the tournament all together. Either this or they could postponed the tournament like they did last year but with the Olympics and Wimbledon, it might be hard to find the right time so I think the French Open will need to go ahead but just have strict rules in place like the AO.

Regardless of all the measures and controls, the AO also had problems with infected tennis players and staff.
Also, it is much easier to make isolation in Australia, a country with closed borders, than in France, an EU member.
The situation with Covid in France is still difficult and complicated and the French government certainly takes more care of public health and the safety of citizens than the holding of sport events, and this is understandable.
I believe the French Sports Minister has not announced a possible postponement of the French Open for no reason.

Yes I agree, it was a lot easier in Australia as its an Island country and didn't have to worry about borders from other countries. Also the virus in Australia was not as bad as it is in Europe as the case numbers were basically 0 where as the case numbers in France and Europe are still very high so I can understand why we could see the French Open postponed or delayed. The problem then becomes, the players will be playing many big tournaments in a row with not much time to rest up as we also have the Olympics coming also so we could see some players skip one to concentrate on the other.

There is trouble even before the IPL is started. A COVID 19 positive case has been reported from the biosecure bubble of Mumbai Indians. Former Indian international Kiran More (who is currently part of the coaching staff for MI) has tested positive for COVID. I don't know how someone can have a positive test inside the bubble. Because individuals are placed inside the bubble after multiple negative tests.
Everyone will have to test the coronavirus again. If someone in the team is not positive, the team's matches will be postponed. In India, corona is now taking horrible forms. I think for Coronavirus some matches will be posponed. This season's IPL may not end on time.

Today there is another daily record, with more than 115,000 testing positive for the virus. In Mumbai alone more than 10,000 positive cases were reported today. In other metro cities also, the number of new cases are just exploding. More than 4,000 in Bangalore, while Delhi has reported 5,000 plus. I won't be that surprised, in case the IPL is postponed. The situation in India is really getting bad. Reminds me of the first wave that we had in September 2020 (even then, the daily numbers never crossed 100,000).

If the numbers continue to increase like this then I would think the IPL season will be postponed. Its going to be another year like last year in all sports until the vaccine roll out is spread far and wide around the world. Until then I think we'll see many sports delayed, even with these bubbles players are still catching the virus and officials so it might be best to postponed until its under control.
The incidence of coronavirus is increasing. Even though the Indian government has the vaccine, everyone needs to be aware of the coronavirus. And at the moment it seems that maybe the venue has to be changed, otherwise a lot of matches will be delayed due to the virus. And of course, like last year, everyone has to follow the rules of hygiene. There is no alternative.

Yeah its not looking good in India right now, it seems as though this is getting worse and spreading a lot faster then ever before and not only in India but also Brazil. Its a big concern not only for cricket matches to go ahead but for all of us because most thought that once the vaccines start to roll out that it would start to slow down the virus but with these new strains it could get way out of control. I really do believe that the best thing for the BCCI should postponed the tournament until this gets back under control but its highly unlikely.

Has anyone on the team thought about trying to get Diamond listed on StakeCube? I think it will benefit the DMD community as it will provide another exchange to trade on and the option for people who don't hold a lot of DMD to stake their coins on StakeCube. If the community supports this then the team could submit a request to be listed for voting.

Elon just sent doge into the spaceX. I just wonder if I should put money in dogecoin and I say nah!
I thought it's too pumped up and will drop but here we go. Fact is Elon won't give up tweeting anytime soon. Drama is just on.

Yes mate you're right. We are expecting for some more tweets from Elon very soon and it will be helpful to pump dogecoin again. Let's wait for more tweets from Elon.

The price has been stable since the pump holding at around 100 sats even when Bitcoin has spikes which is a good sign for when the next leg up comes for Doge coin. Then we may see Doge breaks its ATH in sats price which is what I've been waiting to see.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: April 06, 2021, 10:25:15 PM
The cricket board will not mold any players to become aggressive. I think they have the perfect batting line up for Test matches and i am impressed with they way Sri Lanka played in the last two matches and somehow managed to draw the match and both these teams are experimenting with new players and give them some time and we might see good players emerging from these countries as we have seen some good defensive batting from some of the players in both teams.

As far as West Indies is concerned, we can say that they are producing enough young talent. Their major issue is not the lack of talent, but the unavailability of players due to their participation in various franchise T20 leagues abroad. On the other hand, after Lasith Malinga and Kumar Sangakkara retired, Sri Lanka is not able to produce players who have the necessary qualities to replace them. It is understandable, since their player pool is small (as a result of small population). Also, their domestic structure is in bad shape.

It will be interesting times for the lower ranked teams as you say some are having a hard time keeping their players to play for their country because they can earn better money elsewhere. I also think this virus will have an affect on some teams as not many are able to play cricket right now due to the virus and not many are playing domestic cricket so it could put a halt on young talented players coming through.

It was good to see two young talent play off in the Miami Open final. It was a great match to see both battle it out but I still have my doubts on whether we can take much out of this tournament with the big names not playing. The real big test for these young players will be the grand slams which is why I'm not getting too excited right now as we have seen this in the past with young players that show a lot of talent but then fail to produce the goods against the big name players. Time will tell to see how they fair against them.

wohoo. sinovate to the moon.

started mining it.

Not just yet my friend, I think SIN started to pump on the back of the recent news from the team. I would prefer that we see a steady rise in price and hold long term instead of a quick pump and then the price falls back down which we have seen. Hopefully it can hold around the current price as the team work on future developments.

Sinner just won, this young Italian can be one of the stronger Italians ever in this sport and IMHO in the top 10 world ranking in 2 years.
He destroyed mentally an experienced top 10 player at 19yo

IMPRESSIVE

Time will tell how good he is, yes he has been very good through out this tournament however I'll be interested to see how well he does against a Nadal or Djokovic. I still have my doubts on these young players because they seem to perform well in these tournaments but when it comes to grand slams and coming up against the top players they seem to fail. I do hope that he can go on and win the tournament as its always nice to see a young up and comer win a big tournament like this one.

This is turning into a interesting match as now the WI are in full control and its there match to win as SL won't be able to chase down 377. I thought the WI have played well to at least try and get a win here by declaring early on and making SL bat late on day 4, now SL will need to survive the whole day on a day 5 pitch. It will be an exciting end to the match, its a shame that its not on T.V here but I'll see if I can watch it on a stream.

IMO, West Indies delayed the declaration by some 10 overs and it may prove costly to them. On the 4th day, the West Indies bowlers got just 9 overs against the Sri Lankan batsmen. If they got some 15-20 overs, then in all probability they could have at least taken a couple of wickets and the game would have been in their control. In particular, Kraigg Brathwaite was very slow in scoring the runs. They had enough wickets in hand, so it makes no sense to bat in such a slow manner.

Not sure if the 10 overs would of helped as SL were able to bat the whole day and only lost 2 wickets. We don't know for sure as anything could of happened in them 10 overs but going by how SL were able to bat out a full day shows that it might of still ended in a draw or even a SL win. We got a fair idea that this would be a draw after the end of day 2, it seemed that both teams were playing for the draw at different stages of the match and even though the WI did declare as you said they batted for too long.

Medvedev vs Bautista-Agut already playing now. Sinner already takes out out Bublik.

@vella85  - let's see how tough Stefanos Tsitsipas Hubert Hurkacz is a dangerous player, but I think he can beat him. It will just take more of his mind to believed that he can go on the semis or even be the eventual champion in this tournament.

Again my friend, Tsitsipas lets us down. Yes Hurkacz is a tough opponent for him but he should of won the match after winning the first set. I just don't know why he isn't able to go on and win matches when it comes to the finals of a tournament. He really needs to work on he's mentality but we have been saying this for the past 2 years now. To be honest it seems to be with all the young talent coming through and as I have said, we won't be seeing them winning grand slams until the big three retire because the young talent for some reason can't deal with the pressure.

Medvedev also lost however it wasn't really a surprise to me as Roberto Bautista Agut has been in good form. He looks to be the one to beat in this tournament. We could see a Andrey Rublev/ Roberto Bautista Agut final.

Do you think I don't want to change my tokens myself? In fact, there are many projects that take care of their investors and do not limit the terms of exchange as in AceD, I can give specific examples.

What you still say is false because AceD were still swapping old tokens even after the deadline and even after you made your first post here calling them scammers. In fact I saw that they swapped tokens just the other day in their discord as someone missed the recent deadline. Its not the teams fault if people don't keep an eye on their updates, if you buy something then it is up to you to keep up to date with what's going on with the project.

This is one tour that Bangladesh will want to forget as it was a very poor performance in all formats of the game. We all know that New Zealand is a top team but I didn't expect to see Bangladesh play so poorly. They lost every match and not only that they were beaten badly in every match which I didn't expect to see, I would of thought they would at least challenge New Zealand in a couple of matches but nothing. Its like watching the Bangladesh teams from when they first came into International cricket, that's how poorly they played on this tour. Lets hope they can bounce back and start playing some good cricket again.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 31, 2021, 10:13:32 PM
Stefanos Tsitsipas has so far had the dream run in this tournament and again he comes up against a player he should beat and go into the semi-finals. I agree that Medvedev has had the toughest run and it continues in the game that will be starting soon but sometimes this can be a good thing as playing the top players can help with mental toughness for when the player makes the final.

79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 31, 2021, 10:07:29 PM
Its looking like this match will end in a draw now which is a little disappointing. I still give the WI a chance if they can get these last 2 wickets quickly and then get at least 250+ runs lead which will make it hard for SL to win and maybe even survive on the last day trying to draw the match. The draw looks very likely outcome right now though.

It looks as though a large number of people have come into Sinovate over the past several days as I have seen an up tick in Infinity Nodes which is great to see. I have been saying all along that its only a matter of time before people start to see the true potential that Sinovate has to offer and I think we'll start to see this.
