The players getting upset about the quarantine doesn't make sense because they knew that this could happen even before they landed in Melbourne. There was a conference call with the players but a lot of the top players didn't attend the call and now make out they didn't know about this. I think that they should all be grateful that the tournament is going ahead and that every player earns 100k in the first round anyway. I would sit in quarantine for 14 days to earn 100k. 70 players are now in quarantine with 5 people associated with the event have tested positive to the virus so it is going to be a very difficult task to keep this under control and for the virus not to get out into the public which is the main concern right now.

Lets just wait and see after the casino launch as then the team will have more time to concentrate on speeding up withdrawals. The team will also need to expand as the casino will need a lot more support then running a sportsbook which I'm sure the team will have in the future. I think that they are going through some growing pains right now as I saw that there are a lot more users and bets being placed then previous and maybe they didn't expect AceDBets to grow so fast in a short amount of time.

they should be ready for that. casinos want more players. if they are not ready for that, then it is their loss if some players will lose their faith on them. even one staff assigned to adequately answer users in this forum should not be a big deal for them.
remember, as new casinos are introduced in the forum, they will be left behind if they will not rectify their issues. hope they will not waste their resources for some issues that are easily resolvable from their end.

Like I said I'm sure they will get this all sorted. Now that the casino is live, it will be interesting to see how they go with withdrawals and support. Its only a small team at the moment but they are working on adding new team members in the near future. Time will tell how it all goes here but I am willing to give them the a chance to get everything sorted.

It will be interesting to see what Australia do today as we saw in the last test match 4 sessions was not enough to bowl India out so what will Paine do this time? Australia will need at least 350+ runs if they want to win but also need enough time to try and bowl India out so do they play like a T20 and try and score as many runs in the first session but even then I can't see Australia scoring 300 runs in the first session but maybe they need to bat two sessions and then put India in to bat. Also the weather could play a role in this match so its going to be an interesting end to the series.

Australian Open 2021 really didn't start well.
I just read this news: ''Forty-seven players to quarantine in Melbourne after Covid cases on flights. Two-time champion Victoria Azarenka and former US Open champion Sloane Stephens are reportedly among those affected.''
AO seems to be facing very serious problems right now, and even before the start of the competition.
Maybe the organizers should have waited with the start of this competition?
These are already very serious problems that have nothing to do with sports but affect all tennis players.
What do you think?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/55687722

Yes this is not good news at all. I just don't understand why players are boarding planes with other passengers, you would think that all the players would come together after being tested before boarding the plane. There now could be a chance that the AO gets called off or maybe pushed back but from what I understand, the Victorian government doesn't want to do that and wants to go ahead because they are worried about losing the Grand Slam to another country. This is the problem now, do you protect the people or worry about losing the Grand Slam to another country and right now its looking like its the money that's more of a concern then the people.

AceDBets have just launched their casino which they have been working on for several months now. There are live blackjack and roulette tables with a few other table games which are also live and there are also slots. Poker will be coming later this year from what I understand so there is a lot going on right now with AceDBets.

The Australian middle to lower order batsman have come good at the time time in the series helping Australia make 369 runs which I think is a good total on this pitch. India will need to bat well in the morning session, if they lose a couple of quick wickets then we could see them bowled out for a low total. I think Lyon is the key for Australia as this pitch normally takes spin later in the match.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 15, 2021, 10:04:25 PM
I would put Australia slightly ahead right now even though they have lost 5 wickets. I think anything over 300 will be a good total on this pitch and as I have said many times before, Australia are very tough to beat on this ground with not losing a test match since 1988 so they will have all the confidence in winning the match but I still don't count India out just yet as they have the momentum from the previous test match and I think that they would feel they are right in this match taking 5 wickets on the first day so its going to be an exciting match to watch. The morning session is vital for both teams as which ever teams does well in the morning session could go on to winning the match.

I read that the first HODL coin offering rewards have been paid out to the ones that went with a 1 month lock in term. This is great news for the rest of us who have locked in for the loner terms as I went with 12 months as I truly believe in Sinovate and didn't plan on selling just yet so I'm happy with locking my SIN away for the long term.

The Guardian had just shared the news that Andy Murray could miss Australian Open after positive Covid-19 test.
It seems unlikely that Murray will get a chance to perform at the AO given the very strict rules in this tournament.

Well from what I saw on the news yesterday here in Australia, Sandgren is allowed to come play in the AO even though he did test positive to the virus in November but with Murray it has come at the worse time and for sure the Victorian government won't allow him into the state which is a shame as this could be Murray's last year playing.

Cheesy  SOLARIS ALERT Cheesy

It's showtime Solarians. After Stakecube we go for a listing on Latoken. We are selected for the coin vote.

Calendar Start: next Monday at 8 am UTC

Be there to vote for Solaris, for Free! You only need an account for voting. Let's get ready!
Congratulations for Solarians with latest exchanges, Stakecube then Latoken.

Do the team have plans to make listing request to Uniswap. The volume on Uniswap is great as the DeFi hype is on going. I don't know the listing fee on Uniswap but if Solaris can be listed there, it can help to raise up the volume of Solaris every day. I don't think the listing process is complicated but maybe the fee will be a problem.

UniSwap is for ERC20 tokens and there is no fee however the team or community will need to provide liquidity for trades to start. There WXLR or WSolaris which can be traded on UniSwap but since the team mentioned this there hasn't been any further announcements on this.

Its a shame that Will Pucovski will miss the final test match as his career is just getting started. He makes way for Marcus Harris which I think is a good selection as Burns is in poor form and might not ever play test match cricket again. Its been a long while since it has come down to the final test match for a team to win the series in Australia as normally the series is wrapped up by now with Australia mostly winning in Australia so its going to be a great match to watch.

Been paid and account still in good standing thank goodness.

Happy to hear you have been paid. I'm in their discord server a lot and from what I can see is that the team are currently busy on getting the casino launched. Yes I know this is no excuse for not paying you on time but I think this is the reason why and hopefully once they have launched the casino that withdrawals will be a lot quicker but still I would give them some time after the casino has been launched as there could be some minor issues along the way as nothing is perfect when it first launches.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 13, 2021, 10:38:04 PM
There are a lot of people wanting to call of the Australian Open due to a couple of players contracting the virus and now officials are worried that it could come into Melbourne even though these two players are in Doha. Some are wanting for the AO to be pushed back to be played later in the year but so far the Victorian government is allowing the tournament to go ahead so we shall see how this plays out.
Its pretty simple. They will test all the players when they land in Australia and will be quarantined until the results are out. So, there's no concern about the tourney. Just like the NBA in the bubble, there will be restrictions on what players can and cant do while participating in the Aus Open. So, there shouldn't be a problem. A problem arises if a player is found to have contracted COVID mid tourney. Until then, it should all be pretty smooth. Could be inconvenient for the players while they train and warm up for the matches but as a spectator. It should be just fine. A lot of people are skipping Aus Open because of the restrictions. So, lets see how it goes.

From what I can understand is that the main concern isn't the players but the officials in each of the players team and a lot of them are coming from hot spots around the world. As I said the Victorian government has already said that the tournament will go ahead and I just think the people calling for it to be postponed are just upset because the Melbourne Grand Prix has been postponed until November so they seem to think the AO should as well. Just as long as everything goes well we should be fine.

I've been getting some questions on when the HODL coin offering will end? Some people are interested but don't have the spare funds right now to buy SIN but will have in a couple of weeks from now.

Its nice to see so many people interested in this program and can the team post some stats on how much is actually locked in HCO as I'll be interested to see this?

Well I was wrong with saying that there would be a result in the third test match. All credit goes to India for being able to survive 4 sessions against a strong bowling attack and also the fact that the test match was played in Australia just shows how far this Indian team has come. I really think that the test series win in Australia a few years ago has now made them a lot stronger as a team because if this was back before that test series win India would lose the match more times then not so this was great to see from the Indian team. This now sets up for an exciting fourth test however as I have said in previous posts Australia have the best record when playing in Brisbane as they have not lost a test match there in years. THe main thing going for India is that they have all the momentum right now but the injuries are a concern for them.
278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with 'Selling early' regrets? on: January 10, 2021, 10:08:57 PM
I suggest something that has worked for me over the years and that is sell a little each time as the price starts to go up as its very hard to predict the top of the market and at least you know that you have taken profits along the way. So its like dollar cost averaging when you buy say Bitcoin instead of investing a large amount of say $20k and buying 1 Bitcoin where as you could invest say $250 a week and you would end up with more as there are dips in price and the same goes for when selling. You can sell small amounts riding the wave towards the top. I hope this makes sense and helps you out.

Unfortunately, the new tennis season also begins with a doping scandal.
''World number 29 Dayana Yastremska says she is in "shock" after a provisional ban for failing a doping test.''
She will most likely not be able to perform at the Australian Open.
Who will be next?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/55575286

This is not good to see in any sport and yeah I can't see Dayana playing at the AO.

Lets hope that there are no other players that test positive for banned drugs.

I'm really looking forward to the AO as it feels like its been a very long time since we last saw a Grand Slam tournament, well that is how I feel. I guess its because Wimbledon was cancelled last year and we only saw 3 Grand Slam tournaments, maybe that is why it feels that its been a long time not seeing a Grand Slam tournament.

I'm quiet shock to see a female caught with a ban substance in her body. Obviously, she can't play at the AO and for sure it has sent shock wave to the whole tennis industry as doping are very seldom in this sports. Nevertheless, she has to suffer the consequences.

Just full month if I'm not mistaken and there are reports that some players are going to be quarantine either in Sydney or Melbourne.

I also feel sorry for that girl, who most likely ruined her promising tennis career with this doping.
Not to end with bad news, Ana Konjuh, a girl from Croatia (and great tennis hope), returned to tennis after a long break due to injury and defeated German Ann-Len Friedsam in the first round of qualifications for the AO, 6:2, 6:7(5), 6:4.

Isn’t it a little strange that these tennis qualifiers for the AO are being held in Dubai?

No because this was the plan all along and the Victorian government was happy for these qualifiers to be held in Dubai and it gives the players enough time to get to Melbourne and quarantine. From what I could understand why they did it this way was to restrict less players coming into Melbourne due to Australia's strict quarantine restrictions so that only the ones that qualifier will be the only players coming into Melbourne instead of all the players. Its the first time in history that this is happened but I can see why they decided to do it this way. I hope this helps better understand the reason behind this.

I thought that once Smith and Labuschagne went out that it was over for Australia getting a lead of 400 runs as the middle to tail order have been terrible in the series but finally the middle order performed well and put Australia in a strong position to win this test match. However I still give India a chance to win as long as the two batsman at the crease right now are able to form a big partnership. If they can form a 100+ run partnership then I think India can go on and win the match but if Australia get a quick wicket or two in the morning session then I can't see India playing out the day for a draw. I think we will see a result with one team winning.
