I'm so happy that AGI will soon join with Cardano's blockchain as the vote went in favour of the switch. The good news is that AGI will still be ERC20 and that we will be able to switch between the two blockchains. There will be another 1 billion tokens released over a 5 year period on the Cardano network so there will be 2 billion total supply which I'm happy with as I think over the long term the value will be worth a lot more even with this bigger supply. Exciting times ahead for being a holder of AGI.

We are off to a nice start mate. Tsitsipas looked very good and I think he is primed to make it far in the tournament this year and maybe go all the way and win it which we are hoping for of course as we have money on him to win the AO.

Roberto Bautista Agut was a surprise loss to me as he has been performing well but was knocked out by Radu Albot. Goffin was also knocked out by up coming Aussie Alexei Popyrin so a couple more surprises. I must say that watching the tennis with so few fans is still strange to me and even though the max allowed at the AO is 30,000 a day the numbers are way down at around 20,000. This virus has really scared a lot of people from big tournaments but hopefully as we get deep in the tournament more people come to watch the matches.

I am always disappointed when Goffin suffers a loss in the early rounds. He has talent and he is able to beat the top players such as Nadal, but for various reasons, he never seems to reach really far in big tournaments (max quarter final). Probably he will never win a grandslam.

I saw some highlights of Berrettini vs Anderson and was quite impressed by Berrettini. His next match is against Machac which he should be able to win in straight sets.

I will say this now, Goffin will never win a grand slam. He just isn't good enough to win a grand slam and with Nadal, Djokovic stil playing and some of the young talent moving up the ranks, I just can't see him winning one. He does play well in smaller tournaments but grand slams I think he just isn't on the level as these other top players.

Kyrgios had a big win in a five set match, he really fought hard in this match and now I hope he can continue this on and go far in the tournament. The big upset of the yesterday's matches was Wawrinka losing in five sets, as I said we would most likely see more big upsets during the tournament as a lot of players are not 100% match fit and I think he has shown with some of the top players losing early on against lower ranked and un-seeded players. We are seeing the same thing happen in the Women's draw with Kvitova losing.

I'm really looking forward to the match of Stefanos Tsitsipas and Thanasi Kokkinakis, I'm sure its going to be a great match. Its good to see Thanasi Kokkinakis back playing tennis again after being on the side lines for many years with injury.

I really am hoping that Bean Cash returns to the glory days when it was super active on here and we saw the team attend events and give out Bean Cash. There is real potential here if the community becomes active again, I know there are still a lot of people sprouting because the network weight has been steady for a long time now. We just need an active team and community talking about Bean Cash and we never know what can happen.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: February 10, 2021, 09:26:29 PM
Elon manipulates and pumping Doge which causes real people to lose money.
It went from funny to irresponsible to ridiculous very fast...
Enough is enough

Right now there is FOMO but in long term it won't survive due to liquidity crisis and it will become hard for it to keep occupy the high position on market cap sooner or later it will retrace to that level from where it get started.

Exactly, nobody has such huge hype for this Dogecoin, everything we need to be very careful about what we are buying, most of the people will enter into the market when the prices are very high and this makes most of the people bought at high prices will lose their money.

This situation with Elon kind of reminds me of John McAfee back in 2017 - 2018 when ever he shilled a coin it would pump hard. It just goes to show how much of an impact these big influencers have on the market and any cryptocurrency could pump at anytime if one of the big influencers make a tweet or talk about it. A lot of people will get rekt with Doge as it doesn't really offer any value except for a pump and dump to make quick profits.

Its not looking good here as withdrawals are taking forever to be paid and wallets are offline for weeks. The updates we see are only on Twitter which doesn't make sense to me as the team should be updating everyone on all socials and not just on Twitter. The team was super active on here for a long time and now its silent all of a sudden. Please just give an update on what is going on here.

Yes I know, just saying in Sinners case he was after going the full distance in the previous tournament
and had more of a case to call trainers on and Shapo using his toilet breaks and trainer time
and then giving out to umpire because he didnt get a 3rd break.

I'm big fan of Sinner, good ethics on court.

Too bad Sinner lost, but these are the tricks that the more experienced players sometimes play. I don't like it, but you see it on a lot of sports (even on a lower level).

Tsitsipas just won very easily against Simon: 6-1, 6-2, 6-1. He seems to be in top shape, so hopefully he can go all the way!

Yeah, my boy Tsitsipas seems to be on a good start, but so as other rank players, but it feels good to see him at least winning in the first round.

Wanted to see how Zverev will do as well, and also we have Djokovic playing. They should win their respective match in straight sets.

We are off to a nice start mate. Tsitsipas looked very good and I think he is primed to make it far in the tournament this year and maybe go all the way and win it which we are hoping for of course as we have money on him to win the AO.

I still don't trust what Elon Musk says because we have seen on several occasions now where he tweets about Doge and then he changed his bio to Bitcoin, now he tweeted about Doge being the people's coin and then his company comes out and says that they are buying up Bitcoin and that we could be able buy a tesla in the future with Bitcoin. Yes the company came out and said this but it would of been Elon making the final decision I think. Its hard to say what his motives are when it comes to Doge and Bitcoin.

It did look like India was playing for the draw after losing them quick wickets. I thought that they would pull it off as they were able to do it against Australia but again the pitch was difficult to bat on at times where as in Australia when India drew the game the pitch wasn't doing much. Congrats to England, they deserve this big win after a top first innings which set them up for this win. Also the English bowlers bowled well which also helped set up the win so it was a good all round performance by the England team. The question with India now, will they bounce back and if they don't then maybe its time for the board to think about naming a new captain.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 08, 2021, 09:53:15 PM
It was an interesting first day of the AO with a few big upsets on the Men's side and Women's side. Monfils was the big upset on the Men's side losing to un-seeded Ruusuvuori in a thrilling fifth set match. There were a few fifth set matches with some of the top players, I think it shows that they are building on their fitness after being in quarantine for a while. In the Women's draw we saw a huge upset with Kerber losing in straight sets and not even scoring a set point in the first set. The other upset was Riske losing in straight sets also, I think we'll see more upsets today as some players might not be up to match fitness.

I'm looking forward to tonight's match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Gilles Simon, it should be a great match and as I have a bet on Tsitsipas I hope he can get the job done and also I'll be watching him closely to see how he looks.

I hope the team think about having the HCO program again in the future as it seems like it has been a huge success and many people took advantage of this and have locked their SIN away. I think it has helped a lot of the smaller investors and maybe even help them build towards an InfinityNode later on.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 08, 2021, 09:42:06 PM
I wouldn't count India out of getting the win yet as we saw what they were able to achieve against Australia playing in Australia. Yes the pitch is a lot different then in Australia but with the win against Australia chasing a big total will give the Indian team confidence that they can chase this total down and maybe even get the win. I think if they can have wickets in hand heading into the second session we might see them go for the win but if they lose quick wickets they will try play for the draw which we also saw them do against Australia so I think India has a big chance to win.

As most predictions have the Bucs scoring at least 27+ points I have decided to place a prop bet on Brady to score over 2.5 touchdowns at $2.25 I mentioned 2 weeks ago that even though I like the Chiefs to win, I still think Brady will have a good game and score at least 3 touchdowns. This is just my opinion and I went with some value.

Well that was an easy win for Brady scoring over 2.5 touchdowns. At least I won this bet but lost on the Chiefs lol So I just came out in front thanks to Brady scoring 3 TD's. I actually enjoyed watching the game even though the Chiefs offense was poor on the night.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 06, 2021, 09:32:07 PM
-snip-
Joe Root is getting better and better, what an extraordinary inning to be honest and also he is scoring at good strike rate as well throughout the match but finally Nadeem managed to take his wicket. Even if they score 580 still it is going to be a big task for Indian batsmen, hope they will play as deep as possible and they have to cross the follow on first then can think about the leading runs.
Before going to back to pavilion Joe Root delivered a thrilling innings, score a record double century. Joe Root has demonstrated that he is the current best test batsman. Overall great collaboration lead England stumps 555/8 on day two, Indian home conditions are not supporting Indains bowler?

Now game is depending upon Indian batting, because England will try to score quickly tomo if they are batting else if they declare and ask India to bat then they would try to pick initial quick wickets to put add on pressure. And only worries for the India from here would be to save the test match. if they happen to lose this then the questions will arise on Kohli as under Rahane the team performance in OZ was being applauded a lot.

India will start their batting innings with the goal of drawing the match. There is no chance of India winning the match, maybe the match will be a draw, and if India's batting disaster happens, India will lose. I think this match has a 90% chance of a draw. But I am skeptical about Kohli's captaincy if India loses this Test series somehow. In the next series, Rahane may be given the responsibility of captaining the Test match

It will be interesting to see how well India will go batting as chasing over 550 runs is a huge task however they are playing on home soil so I won't be counting them out yet. India could potentially bat for the next two days and get a lead of say 100+ runs and have England try and survive on the last day which they might find it difficult. Yes it will be interesting to see if India lose the series, what will happen with Kohli remaining captain.

The BBC in today's article gives a more interesting look at AO.
The most important question is whether this competition is fair and gives an equal chance to all tennis players, since as many as 72 tennis players were in very strict isolation for 14 days, locked in hotel rooms and without the possibility of proper training.
Controversial tennis player Kyrgios has made a very interesting comment on the current situation in Australia: "Everyone is really playing it by ear. Nobody really knows who is in form and who is not,".
In any case, this will be a very interesting and uncertain competition.

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/55675606
As Kyrgios said, the AO will be an interesting and uncertain game since it was hard to know who's player is in form or not but I expect the competition to give chance to some underdog player to forge ahead in their career and I also expect the competition to show us who's the smartest and who have genuine affection for the game.
Therefore, the competition will be fair to those that are well prepared and can make positive out of every situation.

This is why I decided to go with some value and placed a bet on Stefanos Tsitsipas to win the AO. I will not be betting during the AO as it could be risky for the first week until we see which players are in form.

Quote
Same here buddy, put $20 on our boy Stefanos Tsitsipas to win in the Finals in AO. Hope he can pull one of the biggest performance at the start of the year when he is fresh (and so are the others).

I like his chances this year as I think it will be an open grand slam even with Djokovic and Nadal playing as we don't know which players are in form ready to go so why not take a gamble on a player paying over $10 to win. Good luck to us both mate.

Its been interesting to watch the top wallet over the past 5 days as more transactions have been coming in however most are micro transactions which is strange. One transaction caught my eye and that was the 666 doge coins received and a lot of 69 doge coins received lol. If doge continues to go up, it will be interesting to see what this person does. I would suggest that everyone keeps an eye on this as this person could kill doge is they decide to dump.

In the latest news, cricket Australia have cancelled the Australian tour of South Africa due to the virus and the concerns about the new virus strain. They offered for South Africa to come play in Australia but they knocked it back which is understandable. I'm sure something could be worked out like we have been seeing with other series going on.

South Africa is going through a very bad phase right now, with increasing number of infections and deaths, so the reluctance from the part of the Australian side to tour that country is perfectly justifiable. The South Africans are not very happy about it, and understandably so. The Australian tour was their chance of getting the finances back on track, and now that is gone as well. They have the option of traveling to Australia, but then the TV rights will stay with CA rather than CSA.

Yes I was looking forward to this series as it would of been the first time back for Steve Smith and David Warner after the sandpaper scandal. I think if the virus strain wasn't as bad and was the normal strain then Australia would tour SA. It would of been great if both boards could work out a share of the TV rights but then again, would SA want to travel to Australia with the strict quarantine Australia has for anyone coming from SA, this could also be stopping SA from accepting to travel to Australia.

I see the HCO program will be ending soon so if anyone is sitting on the fence, now is the best time to join and start earning some SIN. THe best part about this program is that we keep control of the Sinovate we lock in the HCO program as they coins stay in our wallets and not in some staking pools like we see with most DeFi staking projects.

I'm sensing bit of negativity and criticism of team selection and 1st day performance. So here is a one stat/scorecard just to cheer you up and keep your head high for today gameplay.

Same ground, England batted first and went to score 260+ on 1st day and when match finished they end up losing the game with the inning.

Full scorecard
https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/england-tour-of-india-2016-17-1030195/india-vs-england-5th-test-1034817/full-scorecard

Yes England might be in a good position at the end of day 1 however I still like India's chances as they will still be on a high after winning the series in Australia where no one really gave them a chance to win so its to early to call right now. History is on India's side, the morning session will be vital for India to try and restrict England to around 400 or under.

Encouraging news from Australia seems to be coming after all: ''Australian Open boss Craig Tiley says he is "absolutely confident" the Grand Slam will start as planned on Monday, despite 160 players waiting for the outcome of coronavirus tests.''
As it seems, as many as 507 people are in isolation but it is expected that this will not affect the start of the tournament.
All events will continue today, including the AO draw which will also take place today.

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/55924524

All tests came back negative, so everything is on track to start on Monday! Hopefully it will stay like this during the tournament.
https://www.9news.com.au/national/coronavirus-australian-open-players-staff-most-test-negative-to-covid-19-says-ceo/d1ca86de-6117-4071-a533-78b81e2e295b

Giving the quarantaine and these special times, I think we might see some surprises! Anyone already placed some bets on first round matches?

Yes all is good to go for Monday which is great as it was looking unlikely there for a while when that hotel worker tested positive. Yes I have put $20 on Stefanos Tsitsipas to win the AO at $13. With all that has gone on with this years AO I also think we could see some surprises and Stefanos Tsitsipas seems to play very well at the AO so I think he is worth the gamble at them nice odds.
