So far a lot of the top seeds in the Men's draw are doing well, I was happy to see Alex de Minaur win in straight sets as I am a big fan of his. Stefanos Tsitsipas is coming up soon, I'll be watching him closely as I did bet on him to win the US Open @10 odds as Djokovic was too short for my liking even though he will be tough to beat.

Sorry mate, Stefanos Tsitsipas just lost today. But I would tend to agree that the Djokovic odds is not worth it. However, the following could be a good and attractive odds to bet in sportbet.io

(a) Medvedev @ 6.42
(b) Thiem @8.79
(c) Zverev @14.56

De Minaur vs Khachanov will be interesting, I think Khachanov will have this one.
Shapolalov vs Goffin is another good match to wait for, and so is Thiem vs Cilic.

Yeah its a shame that Stefanos Tsitsipas lost but as I said I always look for some value when betting on the winner outright to win grand slams. I don't bet a lot only $20 this time. I still think Tsitsipas still has a long way to go before he becomes more consistent in his matches. It was a great match to watch but I was on the wrong side. Roberto Bautista Agut losing today was a huge upset form the unseeded Vasek Pospisil, I wasn't expecting this to happen. I'll now be hoping that Alex de Minaur goes all the way, I think he has a great shot and the US Open does seem to be his best grand slam where he performs at his best.

I thought that I would post an update on the current testing that the team have been working on for live in-play betting. Below is a screenshot of what it will look like once it goes live to the public very soon. The team are just finishing up on some bugs.

I was wondering what is the connection of this project with the Degenerate Platform (DGN) project?

From what I see, the DGN platform project is now defunct and you have copied verbatim their whitepaper and taken their domain name without any explanation or reference. Are you the same owners (authors) of both projects?

@vella85, why do you think this project could be successful since it is a copy/paste of an old project and doesn't bring anything new to the table?

It was re branded from DGN to now SBX. Well I liked that SBX will be implemented on AceDBets which is what I said in my previous post and once AceDBets get everything right and release their new update, it could really start to take off and bring SBX with it. No one knows for sure what will happen with any project and anyway I was willing to take a small risk and will watch it play out. I've never heard of this verbatim so I can't answer you on that.

They re-branded to accommodate this DeFi hype and then the Uniswap listing. So using the old whitepaper is not new here. Because they have no time to make one. We all know that right now, everyone wants to get in with this DeFi hype. So it is only a matter of time how long they can survive this hype and will they truly implement their mission here as being the sportsbetting marketplace?

Well there are many DeFi hyped projects launching daily and most will be scams. The main thing for me is that the SBX team is still here and wanting to make this project a success in the long term. They could of just disappeared long ago just like some other did around the same time, IMS wallet comes to mind as one that excit-scammed with over 400 ETH. I'm willing to give this project a chance as sportsbetting is a huge industry and we just never know what can happen.

I had a look at your idea and I must say that I'm impressed with it as it does give MOIN a use case and also can be used as added security on websites. We haven't heard from KingCaper in a while so hopefully we get an update from him soon and get his opinion on this idea as I'm all for it.

Thanks, I think as the idea develops it could be refined, but the core concept it's good. Yes, it could be used as an alternative to google authenticator or email/text based authentication. I think multi-factor authentication could be a unique feature too, which would require multiple user addresses to be confirmed before access is granted.

From a coin supply perspective, current supply is 9 million with a total of 21 million, so assuming the 2FA project got mass adoption, we would likely have to ensure there was enough going around to maintain usability. I am also unsure if the coins sent for Authentication should be burned or sent to a central wallet for MOIN development. We can work out the details later though.

Beyond this, there are some key things I'd love from a MOIN project wish list. Effectively, a real privacy based eco-system.

 - Mobile wallet storage
 - Mobile encrypted chat (in-wallet private / group chat)
 - The ability to sync a mobile and desktop wallet / chat
 - Two-factor authentication (as described in image)
 - Multi-factor authentication (similar to 2FA but requires 51% (2+ more people) of specified addresses to approve access
 - Cold staking
 - Hardware wallet storage

Well I think it can work even with the current max supply as the dev could just lower the amount of MOIN needed for authentication and also depending on the price it can be lowered or increased. I believe I mentioned cold staking in here a while ago as I think its another good way to stake and I have seen several projects do this and have had great success with it.

Yeah, that's right, we could just use 0.00000001 MOIN as the required amount. I think having them transferred to a development fund is a good idea too, because that could put for moin back onto the market and give MOIN a sustainable business case.

I'm all for the MOIN needed for authentication going towards a MOIN dev fund as it can help in the long term with future developments. We also suggested that some of the staking goes to the dev fund as well like some other projects currently have. Most are at 5% to 10% going towards a dev fund.

Good bet mate, it was a good match in the first set, and I thought that we will lose the first set, but unfortunately, he won the tie break and then broke him down in the next two sets.

Thiem and Djokovic will be up tomorrow against Nagal and Struff. I think Djokovic will have a tougher opponent here in Struff.

it is a good bet, but will not gone through, Djokovic will win this one with ease, i really cannot see anyone from these players beating him this season
maybe Covid could eliminate him, there is a question regarding immunity after having infection, but players cannot, IMHO, he will won this tournament

I always look for value when betting on tennis and for me Djokovic offers no value at $1.60 so that is why I placed my bet on Tsitsipas at $10 odds and we just never know what can happen. Djokovic is currently in a fight against Struff and as Kemarit said it will be a tougher match for Djokovic so we shall see how it unfolds.

669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 02, 2020, 11:21:57 PM
Missed yesterdays match, I had no clues that Pakistan won the first T20 against England. This why this team is truly unpredictable. You do not know what will happen next when these guys play. I will be waiting for the next match and hope to see them repeat the same performance.

Nope. Pakistan lost the first match and the second one was washed away. They won the third and last match. T20 is such an unpredictable format, and even teams such as Netherlands have defeated England in this version. It is like 50% skill and 50% luck. If luck is not favoring you, then you can go down even against minnows such as Scotland and Netherlands.

I agree that when it comes to T20 cricket any team can win on the day, it can be said for most sports but I think T20 in more unpredictable then most sports as I think its an even playing field for all teams. In the longer forms of the game teams can recover but in T20 it is more difficult for this to happen unless its very early on but normally once a team gets the momentum its hard to stop whether its batting or bowling. Congrats to Pakistan on winning and at least tying the series.

I still don't think many people understand how big Sinovate can be in the future once their data storage system is released to the public. Data storage is huge and if Sinovate can get just a small percentage of the pie, this could really explode. I'm not waiting for that day as I continue to accumulate Sin while its still cheap.

I'm sad to see IC getting delisted as it is a coin I stake on StackCube but at the same time I do understand that some coins need to be delisted to make way for other larger coin projects. I'm just looking forward to the day when we see ETH listed on StakeCube.

I really like the look of this project so I have decided to join the public sale and buy some SBX. The thing that caught my was that SBX will be listed on AceDBets sportsbook which already gives SBX a use case and also that a staking dapp will be launching on the same day SBX goes live on UniSwap.

Thanks all for your input, opinions and ideas. I'm swept up in some real world business that will keep me afk for the next 2 or 3 weeks, but I'll reply properly when I can. A vague plan is slowly hatching.

As an aside, I've noticed recently several communities concerned that their project of choice might be running out of funds. I want to assure all of you that there's no danger of that here... we don't have a dime and we never did!  Cheesy Grin

We should change that though. More to follow. Stay safe!

Hey KingCaper, I had this idea for a blockchain project, I think it's inline with MOIN's values as a privacy project. It's a method of creating a two-factor / multi-factor authentication system leveraging a blockchain network. I have created a bit of an overview in the image below. It would be great to get feedback from the wider MOIN community on the concept too.

1.  I have had my coins on txbit for almost a year and haven't touched it.
I read about swap above..
Should I do anything with my coins, is any action mandatory?

2.  Verification became mandatory on txbit? Unless I can't trade?

If you had your Solaris on txbit during the swap then you should of received the new Solaris coins. Yes KYC is now mandatory on txbit as due to European  government regulations. I believe you can still trade however when it comes to time to withdraw you must do KYC.

The first player has tested positive on Covid: Benoit Paire. He has pulled out of the tournament. I think we will see some more positive cases the next couple of days...
https://www.cbssports.com/tennis/news/us-open-2020-benoit-paire-tests-positive-for-covid-19-leaves-tournament/

The bad news came from the US open 2020 tennis tournament, with Benoit Paire positive after running the COVID-19 test.
It is possible that there will be some more people who are positive for COVID-19 at the US open 2020. But hopefully, not many
will be positive infected with COVID-19, so the US Open 2020 tennis tournament can be completed according to the set schedule.

Yeah this is not good news at all for the tournament but hopefully the officials have taken the necessary steps for it not to spread amongst the other players. This was always going to be a risk playing in the US as they are the number #1 country with the most cases of covid-19 and continues to have thousands of cases daily so I was expecting it but was hoping that it wouldn't happen but it has. Hopefully all goes well for the rest of the tournament. I'm waiting for the De Minaur match which is coming up soon.

this vella85 fellow has no life if he indeed has been with solaris for two years now. Totally no life for him on this earth. However solaris still pays u a 5% dividend for having ur money sit on a lockdown in their staking hub. Not ur keys - not ur coins. This doofus named vella85 must be among the diehard eulogizers of solaris platform, likely a fanatic to have spent most of his lifespan staking solaris coins.

Maybe before you start talking crap about me, that you understand that I got in near the start when Solaris was dirt cheap and even now I'm still way ahead at the current price. I'm not like most people in crypto who are only here to try and get rich quick, I'm here for the long term as I believe in this project and I know there are still some old Solaris holders still staking and holding today.

Djokovic added another title to his gallery today. I could not watch the match since there was a bunch of people in my house but I managed to cash in on the match. I got odds @3.05 on Nole after he lost first set and just had to take them. Now I am a bit angry I did not place a higher stake bet but I was not sure if Nole is 100% ready since he had big problems yesterday.
After watching today final now I am sure Djokovic is one of best tennis player on planet because in first set Roanic completely outclass him and I was sure he is going to lost in straight sets but he fight back very strongly and won this title now its good for many other players that they must need some quality game for this year US Open title even we have no 2 legendry players not available this Djokovic is can handle easily this all.

Been saying this for the past two years on here that Djokovic will most likely be the greatest Men's tennis player of all time and will one day be the number #1 ranked player to win the most Grand Slam titles which we could see happen next year if the virus is under control and sports get back to normal.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 29, 2020, 10:50:59 PM
Out of 2000ish covid tests 13 came positive (asymptomatic cases) and if we look at pattern in such cases then they should be fine after 10-12 days. I doubt if BCCI even thinking of cancelling the tournament unless whole squad gets infected by 10th-15th Sep, which seems unlikely to me.
Agreed. BCCI went through many hoops for IPL 2020 which is why a couple of infected players won't dent their confidence at all. However, if the virus spreads like crazy through different teams, it's basically game over whether they like it or not.

Cases are still low in the UAE currently which is why the chances of such a worst case scenario are currently low, but you never know what will happen.
Now after this they are doing some more stick policy which will help officials to control this all and if they not able to this and its spread in more teams then surely its going to be very dangerous for BCCI and this event but I was reading now they have some better policy so most chances we will go with this years most wanted event without rain and any other problem.

Like I have said many times in here before, the IPL will be played this season because it all comes down to money. They need the competition to go ahead or they will lose a lot of money. The main thing is that they do the right thing and take the right steps to make sure that the players are safe, lets hope common sense comes into play if it gets out of control with the virus.

I hope that the Tennis sport is also included in the betting, especially in the next few days there will be a US Open Grand Slam. I'm only make bet in sport that I like to watch the match.
In last few days they are not adding sporting events like we have few Soccer matches and Tennis matches hopefully in next few days as new European seasons they will add some good number of events because now members numbers are increasing very quickly so good time for doing this all and have their share of sports betting market.

Yes I to would like to see some tennis games added once the US Open starts in just a few days time. As it will make up for not many football games being played right now as most of the seasons are completed. Also we got the IPL cricket season to look forward to in September so hopefully there will be many games to bet on here.

I was hoping to see Tsitsipas win against Raonic but it wasn't to be. I still think that Tsitsipas is a good chance to win this years US Open if all goes well. Djokovic was pushed hard in his match but was still able to overcome Bautista which now sets up for a good final against Raonic. I think that Djokovic will win but it won't be an easy win for him as Raonic has shown in the past that he can match it with the top players in finals.

Well you know me, I always bet on my boy Tsitsipas and I thought that he will also beat Raonic. But it seems that the big serving Raonic is back. Also Djokovic had a hard time adjusting to Bautista Agut and even losing the first set. But he come back, so it will be Djokovic vs Raonic. The match will be good as long as it last, as long as Raonic can keep up with Djokovic, but I don't see this slipping in the hands of Djokovic.

Yeah I thought you would bet on him, I'm looking to place a bet on him to win the US Open as he looks in good form but just need him to match it with the big boys.

Well Djokovic wins another title after getting smashed in the first set, Raonic looked very good to cause an upset but as we know with Djokovic he never gives up that easy and fought back to win the title, congrats to him.

I think there is something bigger going on in the world of tennis right now and that is that Djokovic and few other Men's players wanted to form their own player union which has caused Nadal and Federer to speak out about this. MOre details can be found in this article https://au.sports.yahoo.com/tennis-nadal-federer-against-djokovics-planne-split-215043837.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAGBgsvsEXNuk90rrSuQdy768z40ko6MBdoxFq4k3_yGhv8ubWbBAtWUMjDrsoJ3uqEQ2eMP_nLyyNb_22j7dUXV9AQ3vgJuT-Dj-HvUN-_TPf2KMtgw4cD9VGwsWnZmbNY04rcotKq74DnNZIpm7CZE69QnUwtHRT_D2Q2fXT9O1
