701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 21, 2020, 11:36:08 PM
Its not looking like a good US Open to watch with more star players pulling out, to be honest I have lost a little interest in wanting to watch the US Open but I will still watch some matches to see how the young talent goes. At least we know one thing and that is we'll see a different Men's grand slam winner for the first time in years.

That's why I argue last month that tennis might end in a sad note this year. Fans are losing interest because they can't see their favourite tennis player in the court. And now that there are a lot of seeded mens/womens pulling out, I wouldn't be surprised to see the viewership hitting all time low in this years US Open. So let's see if Djokovic can make it in time to at least have a seeded player to cheer on.

Yes maybe for the US Open it will be down and many have lost interest because many star players have pulled out but it doesn't mean it will see tennis end on a sad note as we still have the European tournaments to look forward to as the virus doesn't seem as bad as it is currently in the US so there is still hope for tennis this year.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Triangles [TRI] - low supply X13 PoS over TOR with secure messaging on: August 20, 2020, 11:22:43 PM
Thank you for appreciating ODDBANK as it's  a work in progress. I just finished tweaking the referral link functionality. If you added a link but did not see it appear on your personal pages, please accept my apologies.

I'm completing some updates this week so if you notice any bugs pls let me know.

TRI network looking good and big buy on BTCPOP.

I noticed that on BTCPop as I'm on there daily as I claim from the faucets of other coins and then sell once I have enough and then buy TRI. I see the TRI faucet is always at the bottom, is there anyway to get it at the top of the faucets? as it would give TRI more exposure and maybe even get some new people buying and staking.

why ams wallet is down at txbit ?

I'm sure that it will be fixed soon as Kees works on txbit every day.

I know that he is busy working on the second use case for Solaris so I'm guessing that its taking up his time at the moment so give it a day or two.

I'm still here and staking Denarius as its still one of my long term holds. It will be interesting to see how some staking projects do once ETH starts staking as I do believe that it will bring a long more people into the staking sector of crypto and as Denarius is a long standing project I think it will do well as that's what I think people will be looking for when wanting to buy into staking coins.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 20, 2020, 11:06:12 PM
Australia has been given the all clear to travel to England for the T20 series which starts next month. I'm happy to see this as it looked like Australia wouldn't be playing any cricket this year. England will no doubt be the favourites as the Australian team have not played a game in many months where as England has had match fitness so its going to be interesting to see how well Australia performs in this series.

Looking forward to seeing what the new feature is all about and I know I'm not the only one as there is still a few older members here holding Solaris even though its not as active in here as it once was but that could all change when the new use-case is released.

You can always tell who bought the top Roll Eyes

lol I didn't buy at the top?  I am just saying it like it is.  The dev disappeared like usual and nothing came of this coin, whether people bought at bottom, top, or staked for years, it's a worthless coin with 0 volume that never will amount to anything.

The only way I can see this coin amount to something is when the dev returns and starts working on XPTX again. The only problem is that we never even found out what the dev has been working on as he never mentioned anything. When we look at it XPTX does have potential in the next cycle as I believe staking will be the next big thing for crypto once ETH starts staking and I think more people coming into crypto will look for other long standing staking coins but they will also look for active communities and dev teams which is what we have missing here.

The website is gone, the explorer is gone, he's gone.  Even if he came back, it won't matter.

Yes I know all this however we just never know what can happen in a time where staking is all the rage. If he does come back and gets thing back up and running again when staking is all the rage then we might see XPTX back up there once again but the dev will need the passion to do so because it seemed to me that's what he lacked as a dev.

Well this coin will never get on a useful exchange so I would likely say it will never happen. lol

The thing is that we just never know what will happen in crypto so I never give up hope even though things look dead here. It could just take that one person that wants to take over a long standing project and have a working chain and boom XPTX is alive again. Not saying that this will happen but we just never know as staking could be the next big thing once DeFi starts to die down.

Any updates on how the hardfork is coming along and when will it be ready for us to update or test?

Its great to see Sinovate gain some exposure with Noonies, I think that once IDS protocol is released that we'll see a lot more people coming into Sinovate as data storage is a huge industry and Sinovate offer something unique with Infinity Nodes.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ---- ✅ [ANN]DMme ⭐ ERC20-Token⭐✅----(LIVE ON CREX24&CRYPTOBRIDGE) on: August 18, 2020, 11:00:43 PM
I just saw the Dmme Twitter tweet about a 3 month stake for Dmme holders of 100k tokens. If you hold 100k Dmme tokens you will qualify for the stake which will run for 3 months so on the 10th of each month you will earn a share of 333k Dmme tokens. 100k is the minimum that people need to hold in their ETH wallets and must hold for a minimum of 20 days before the 10th of each month as that's when the snapshot will be taken and tokens distributed to holders.

Yes! And next month we get the official release.

I'm looking forward to it and also to receiving some Dmme from this first lot of staking. I have looked at the holders of Dmme and it looks like that around 35 holders will receive a stake as long as they continue to hold during the 20 days and if so then each holder will receive around 9,500 Dmme tokens which is a nice reward with the current value at around 0.012 BTC. Maybe we'll see more people hold 100k Dmme in the next round of stakes as they will see what other have earned in this round.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔄🔄🔄🔄 ――――― ▲ MOIN ――――― It's not dead. It's resting ―――― 🔄🔄🔄🔄 on: August 18, 2020, 10:57:48 PM
I think a small listing is a start. Not sure how expensive they are, but we'd probably get a significant volume boost just by adding more options to buy moin. In the event that kingcaper decides to fork, it'd still take months to do so. Plus getting a new exchange would be a good sign for newcomers to the project. Any thoughts?

I do agree that an exchange listing is a great way to gain some exposure for MOIN however maybe now isn't the best time if KingCaper decides to fork as then he would need to pay for the exchange to update, well most exchanges charge for this. Maybe after the fork if that's what he decides to do, MOIN can get listed on another exchange.

If MOIN switches to ERC20 then it is easy as there are free DEX's MOIN can list on like UniSwap. MOIN can still have what we have now with staking as a dapp can be developed for staking.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 18, 2020, 10:52:27 PM
Pakistan is not happy because now they are leaking their wounds they lost golden opportunity to win this series and good points in first test now second is already end in draw and most chances third is also going to end in draw because too much rain expected so this series is going to end on just first test result which is clearly not good for them but England is also not happy as now they are feeling they can do some more good after winning first test.
Pakistan might be happy as rain prevented them to be 0-2 which means they are still having decent chances to square the series rather than being already lost the series. The 3rd test is going to be played at Southampton which might be flat surface then there would be a decent chances for Pakistan players to score more and to put England to chase to make them feel the pressure to defeat England. But, England will be a fiery team in home soil and they have improved batting line who may bat like T20 matches even in test cricket.

If Pakistan will look for more spinning options then probably they get chances to put England in back foot as English team is always known for struggling against spinners even in home grounds.

I also think that Pakistan would be happy with the result in being a draw as it still gives them a chance to at least draw the series which would be a good outcome for them after letting England back into the series with their second innings poor performance in the first test match. Even with all the rain around hopefully we'll see one team win the third test.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥[ANN] [POS/MN] ESBC Betting Platofrm🔥🔥🔥 on: August 15, 2020, 11:36:18 PM
Big update was installed on https://bet.esbc.pro/
details about the update and the vision of our future development potential will be published on our blog https://steemit.com/@esbc-official
after bug testing and launching new features.
The Betting Platform is now available
some points of updating:
- reporting system was simplified for comfort users
- additional lines(will be added more)
- matches are added in advance and more leagues
- Transaction history (balance activity history)
I described the above surface things, the most important will be activated later.
Use the betting platform to help us found and fix bugs faster and activate new features faster

I'm impressed with the new look site, its much better then before and its good to see more markets added for us bettors as this is what I have been waiting for a long time now. I still would like to see Australian football added as that's what I mostly bet on but I can understand why it isn't as its not known world wide but I am seeing more and more sportsbooks add AFL now so hopefully one day I'll see it added on ESBC platform.
Thank you for feedback we can add Australian football,I must learn the rules
btw we will add what your recommend earlier (predict championship leaders) on regular on regular basis

You're welcome and thank you for thinking about my suggestion on adding AFL. If you do add games you can then get the results from this website as they post all the stats during and after the games are finished. The rules are easy to understand as its 6 points for a goal and 1 point for a behind. There is videos on YouTube for people to understand. I look forward to the future with ESBC.

https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/live_scoreboard
Done, need some times for tests

Thank you so much, yes I understand the team need some time for testing and to get to know the game and how it works but having basic bets for now is a good start and hopefully it will attract some new bettors here. Now days most sportsbooks have all sports from around the world so its good to see ESBC moving in the right direction.

715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 15, 2020, 11:29:54 PM
That was the point I was trying to get across in a few posts ago, Thiem would be the top player on clay if Nadal was retired already as I don't see any other next gen as good as Thiem on clay and he has even challenged Nadal for the French Open the past 2 years but still isn't good enough to beat him at a grand slam but has beaten him in other clay tournaments. The thing is that the top three are legends and we'll most likely never see this again in our lifetime where three players are winning all the grand slams every year.
Yes Thiem is legend at present but in history of wins like he is second to Thomas Muster (world leading tennis player in his time). Win a grandslam and relatively achieve greater things than Thiem. But, I think that if Thiem will continue to achieve greater things like a grandslam championship then he can surpass Thomas Muster. In tennis court I am a fan of Thiem, this is why that everytime he plays I always watch. One of his great plays that i watch was Thiem vs. Jannik Sinner and it was a great final match won by Thiem.

Never heard of Thomas Muster before ? Calling Thiem a legend already is too soon. But he can certainly win a grandslam, especially on clay.
I agree with Vella, the era with Federer, Nadal and Djokovic winning grandslam after grandslam, is a once in a lifetime...

And yet another big name has pulled out of the US open: Andreescu (champion of 2019).

https://www.tennis.com/pro-game/2020/08/bianca-andreescu-wont-play-us-open-ensuring-two-new-singles-champs/90073/

I think he is talking about Austrian Men's tennis players. Thomas Muster was a former number 1 and one of the greatest clay court players in his era which I believe was the 90's as I do remember him as the king of clay at the time. Thiem does have a long way to go to match Thomas Muster but in time I think he can as we have already seen what Thiem can do on clay courts.

How much is beancash worth now?  I use blockfolio but not sure if its corrected.  I stored my beancash in the beancash wallet but havent logged in a while.  Is it even worth sprouting anymore?

There are nice websites like Coinmarketcap or CoinGecko to check coins' stats and prices. I'm surprised that you haven't heard about them Undecided

Oh and whether it's worth sprouting depends totally on how much BITB you own. If it's 1k then no need to bother. If it's 10-100mln then probably yes.

I agree, if its a small amount this person will be better off sprouting their beans in a staking pool like on StakeCube or BTCPop but if its over 1 million then it might be worth sprouting on your own. I have almost 2 million now and am getting a few sprouts daily but some days I get only 1 or 2 sprouts so I guess it depends on the network weight as well on certain days.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 15, 2020, 11:21:40 PM
~snip~
Both teams known for their batting collapse and looking at current scenario Pakistan already reached at respectable total. Pitch is still alive so who knows if its low total game, we might see result despite bad weather.

Two days gone and not even one innings completed till now. I would be really surprised, if this match doesn't end up as another boring draw. Weather predictions are also not looking that great. Heavy rains are predicted for the next three days and we can expect the same situation we had during the first two days. I don't expect more than 100-150 overs of play to happen in the remaining three days.
Your calculation is not wrong as weather forecast backing your statement but you are under estimating mighty modern day batsmen.. Pun intended  Grin

Well we have seen before in the past at how quickly runs can be scored and that even when there are rain delays that most matches are completed with a winner. The match could still go either way as Pakistan have the runs on the board and the question is does England want to win the match or play for the draw? We will find out once they bat to see if they play aggressively or play safe.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 13, 2020, 11:40:06 PM
As we have been seeing most perform well at the start of the year but they fade away at the end and some perform poor at the start and come good at the back end of the year like we saw with Medvedev last year. We can see the talent they all have, they just need to be able to win against the top three in grand slam finals. Like I said anyone can go back and see that I'm a big fan of Thiem, I've even had several bets on him to win the French Open for the last 2 years before it started because I believe he will be the next great clay court player once Nadal retires.

agree for Thiem, think that he will be great on clay, and he would be now, if there is no Nadal, what is the issue there is that Thiem is also not getting any younger, and he is not a talent anymore, in his age Nadal was already crowned "clay king"
regarding Medvedev and other players, IMO, Nadal, Federer and Djokovic are not that great, it is more that competition is really bad, so these three shine out, just look at some side-players that hanged out in top 10 for several years, without being called great, for example Berdych, Tsonga, Del-Porto, would you call them great as well, and some of them even managed to win grand-slams when top 3 where at their best

719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: August 13, 2020, 11:33:09 PM
And this was the last post by the OP (Dogecoin) back in August 2018. I wonder if they have decided to leave this project as is and not to update it any more.

Thanks, it was rather late when the update went out last night and basically went to bed, then work, and now I'm here Smiley

I'm _hoping_ we'll ship a beta soon, we've got some outstanding build issues with the OS X version that are blocking a beta release, but otherwise it's looking fairly good so far!

It is necessary at this stage whether OP is active or not into this thread. This is community driven coin and they are posting updates time to time on social media channels. Dogecoin is moving forward so nice so that from my point of view community don't care about this anymore.

Yeah it does look that way because if the community actually cared you would have a lot more people in here asking about future developments and a roadmap but there isn't. Like I have said I believe that Doge is mainly used now days for transferring between exchanges and used for betting as its much cheaper then BTC and even ETH right now. That is where Doge has some advantages over the top two cryptocurrencies.

I am also doing same most of time using these RP for bonuses from time to time because no other use of these RP and 100K need nearly 9 to 10 years for redeem which is really hilarious for any single user without any referral and gambling habit on this faucet.

I'm sure this is intended to be like that, otherwise anyone would just bleed the faucet dry after few months.
This gives you incentive to play hi-lo and to bring in new people into the system.
Also, if you claim the faucet regularily, like 15+ times a day every day, you can buy RP bonus which increases your RP gain a lot.
Looking at how much gambling taking place nowadays, we could say that they were once a faucet website only known for their faucet but nowadays they are known for their gambling very well too, look at all the money that goes into dice (well I call it dice but in reality I think it is called hi/lo?) and their betting, in fact on their betting side you can see how much is gambled as well and I think that is not even close to dice neither, yet it is still a lot.

So, I agree that they were once famous for their faucet and that got the attention of many people but after that there was a period of time when they got more and more famous with their own gambling as well. Right now they are known for dice, betting, lottery and lambo thing all together and makes up for many of the users.

I think what really made this site even more famous was when they introduced the golden ticket lottery as it caught a lot of people's attention as there is 200k in BTC up for grabs or a lambo. Now who doesn't want to try their luck and win 200k in BTC or a lambo, I bet almost everyone that uses the site would which is what made this site grow even bigger and also for their betting on sports but I think the golden ticket was the game changer here.
