Observing some profit taking in the $10.7k range. Looks like we may be in for a bit of sideways action before $11k.

I give it 24 hours.

A spanking new banking paradigm has been unveiled

Money needs no longer to keep people in chains.

My Russian is barely there, but doesn't that verbiage in the back roughly translate to "A bank you can be tied to" ?

Was too busy gardening early this morning to buy the dip.

Oh well.

Nice to see $10k mostly maintaining stability... for now...

I can't believe SJW rot has infiltrated Bitcoin Core, to the point they ACKED a merge to change "blacklist" to "blocklist".

For Bitcoin.

A blockchain.

OT: Covid-19 crap / Braindump

There's this dude on Twitter named @JamesTodaroMD, who is talking a lot about T-Cell Memory serving as a form of immunity to Coronaviruses, and Covid-19.

It's being hypothesized that folks with healthy immune systems, are near middle age, and have no co-morbidities, have good protection against Covid-19, if you've had colds in the past (been exposed to Coronaviruses before, on several occasions); can fight off and develop an immunity to a strain of Covid-19.

Also, T-Cells apparently are capable of forming immunity memory against Covid-19, and this is leading to PCR Tests for re-testing infections as near useless. If you've had Covid-19 already, test negative; it's possible to retest positive, while asymptomatic, at a later date, because the PCR test is detecting dead viral shedding of a Covid-19 infection that was already taken care of by your T-Cell memory, generating the needed immune response.

Also, it is speculated by the medical community there is "at least one more strain of Covid-19" which is possible to become full-course reinfected with, again.

Again, speaking about healthy folk here, with strong immune systems, and no co-morbidities.

I dunno Bob, if you wanna have a gun, all the more power to you. I'm not gonna disparage people for choosing to own a gun. Sometimes it seems like the smart thing to do.
But the guys who are the quickest to pull their guns out in a situation have the smallest dicks.

Don't get me wrong; I just want to stay home, grill, and play video-games for the rest of my life. But if organized mobs start marching in our part of the suburbs where we are, things will have devolved to a very bad point.

I don't go seeking any trouble at all. Only would want to defend my property, along with the rest of the community militia.

I guess I'm talking about absolute worst case scenario, that I hope never plays out, and this stuff just ends up collecting dust in the closet, sort of thing.

With the elections coming up, I'm reading reports that are beginning to scare me.

America is in a really bad place right now, sadly.

Rather be prepared for worst case scenario.

Very strange times we are living through.

EDIT: Also, we genuinely enjoy target shooting at the ranges. It's a lot of fun, working on improving my pistol aim. I admire the peer group we have, for their skill, when we go practice. Rifles are just easy-mode, but I'm still not pleased with my pistol performance. Maybe Rick and I can take up competitive sport shooting in our retirement years.

God Bless America.

Grin
I guess you are obsessed with it!

Well, yeah. The sooner it moons, the sooner Rick can retire, and we can start living happily ever.

Rick is retiring "soon" irrespective of BTC price, but, like, if corn was $25k right now, Rick would be all like "See ya !" and rage-quit.

One thing is certain: we need more guns over here.

#meta

I still hate you, but, decided to unignore you, because, like, "Recovering former angry guy" sorta thing.

Toxic can give me ole taint a proper tongue-banging, anytime tho.

JJG I've come to attain cosmic harmony with completely ignoring anything he produces. My brain has evolved to the point where it's developed a JJG-blocker for quoted text.

Life is pretty good right now, all things considering.

Still concerned with increasing violence in Dallas, tho.

Don't mind me...

Just sitting here on website.com, buying "sporting and hunting outfits", while watching the shit starting to hit the fan in South Dallas, playing out on Twitter.

Rick and I went to gunstore.local and picked up a couple nice, new pieces on Wednesday. Surprised they had defense.item(desired) in stock.

Rick picked up the entire bill, and I sent him BTC to pay him back.

How are you guys ?

I see again green on my Bitcoin ticker widget app

I'm not embarrassed to admit, that I have multiple ticker systems around the house constantly displaying the last 24 hour price.

Most of them are run just showing bitcoinity.org last 24 hours in Chromium, on RasPi's with small touch-screen displays.

Our bedroom has two systems on my bedside, where we can wake up, look over at the price of corn, and go right back to sleep.

One of the tickers is a mini PC running Windows 10 connected to a HP touchscreen display showing bitcoinity.com last 24 hours, and another is a RasPi4 with a slightly smaller display, showing the last 3 days of bitcoinwisdom.io.

Also have the BTC price showing on the face of my watch.

Yeah, Rick and I are huge nerds.

Watch out if you are into DOTA, its addictive af.

I played the crap out of DOTA 2 for a long while. Venomancer was my favorite guy to play. Ultimately, it was the length of time for some of the games to play out, that turned me off of it. Games sometimes lasting up to an hour was becoming tedious. Same reason I quit playing WoW; too much time to devote to high end play with raids and whatnot.

Tried playing Artifact, but it was an unmitigated trainwreck on release, and tossed it aside. Was big into Hearthstone for a while, before becoming bored with it as well. Have since nuked my entire Blizzard account over the Hong Kong Hearthstone tourney debacle.

Mostly into games where I can play in 15-30 minute chunks at times, if need-be.

May be for the last time we will see a test on $10k?

I've got a bad feeling we're going to briefly dip back into 4 digit territory today. I sincerely hope I'm wrong. Not liking the signs from that recent big red candle...

EDIT: Seeing shorts getting liquidated and large market buys, so maybe we are going up today. Too lazy to screencap Twitter right now.

Are you playing anything these days?

Jumping back and forth between Path of Exile (trying to grind to level 100 with my main dude. Currently 32% through level 98), Torchlight II, and MS Flight Sim (mostly for silly shenanigans like trying to successfully barrel-roll a 747 without it tearing itself apart, or crashing into an ocean...)

I tested crashing a 747 into our house before taking out Epstein Island.
