See the price dropping. Moved some FedBux into Gemini and placed a dip order for $250 @ $28,000. Let's see what happens.
Huh. Order got filled. Feeling sassy and placing another degenerate dip order for $250 @ $28,250 and see if I get filled again. I like getting filled with dip.
a wild bore

I just wanted to draw some attention to some earlier degenerate stacking. Life is getting weird at these prices. I just did it again. Just stacked another $100 in PPBTC @ $28,852.21 USD/BTC.
Going full-retard here.
Yeehaw.

Can I buy one of these to wear around while navigating meatspace ?

Be fucking careful of that 415+ though my man, what happened to me is a very common issue with that model. I'd be looking at possibly upgrading and selling it off just to be safe.
Just looked into the "Intel Atom Bug" issue, and decided to immediately order a DS1520+ off Amazon. Thanks for the heads-up on that. Was not aware of the problem.

Got a new Synology DS420+ and plugged in the old drives. Booted it up and puckered my asshole and was greeted with a "Do you wish to migrate your data" dialogue. You bet my fucking ass I do! Clicked yes and 10 minutes later all back up and running with the same settings and all!
I absolutely love Synology products, and their Hybrid RAID setup. Use two of their boxes (DS415+ & DS1511+) on my network and can't recommend them highly enough. For Direct Attached Storage arrays on my Mac, can't to wrong with Promise Technology products IMO.

Sun, AIX... we're talking archaeology!

On the one hand, I find this terrible; running RAID-less storage units. On the other hand, you are duplicating NAS A onto NAS B at regular intervals. My brain is beginning to cook just a little bit.

$26,200 and $26,100 orders eaten @ Gemini. Let's see how long $26,000 holds for another $250.
Got filled @ $26,000

I mean what stops you from withdrawing that money to your own bank account, then use that money to buy bitcoin?
Absolutely nothing is stopping me from doing this. I figured I'd dip my toes into this PPBTC shit to the tune of at least 4 digits USD, and see what happens. As others mentioned already, I kinda get the "moral imperative" part of supporting any new Bitcoin on-ramp, but it's distasteful AF to me. Won't be cashing out the coins until at least this time next year, for long-term capital gains reasons. Hopefully Paypal allows withdrawal of BTC into your own custody by then so I won't have to cash out at all.
