$500 order @ $17,650 got filled.

Placed an UTTERLY DEGENERATE order for $500 @ $17,550. Hopefully that one doesn't get filled...
1442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 11, 2020, 07:22:48 AM
Still up, chugging away on... stuff.

Just placed a degenerate $500 dip order @ $17,750.

EDIT: Oh, and someone postulated earlier that I use Kraken. This is not the case. I did for one sale of $100k USD, and found it to be a complete nightmare, to extract the funds. Using the ActiveTrader interface at Gemini. I don't want to sound too, too gay, but I really like Gemini. The Winklevoss Twins aren't my type, but, well... yeah.

EDIT2: Also, someone also questioned whether I'm black and libertarian, while having such a confusing stance on being comfortable paying the requisite long-term capital gains tax.

I can understand the confusion, but, while being one who believes in Liberatian ideologies about The United States, I'm also pragmatic to understand that we live in a system, and I need to abide by the rules.

Speaking to being a black man, I've been blessed to have been raised well by incredible parents who I love dearly. The teachings of The Bible and Jesus played a major formative role in my early psyche development. I've worked very hard, and overcome a lot of racism, to get to where I am today. I get racism. People are going to be who they are going to be. I just need to be calm and understanding of that, and try to be the best person I can, and demonstrate that with every interaction I have, with people.

EDIT3: Degenerate $17,750 order filled. Good grief. Off to place another degenerate $500 order @ $17,650, I guess. I should probably sleep now...
1443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 11, 2020, 05:11:22 AM
Wonder if my degenerate $500 @ $17,850 dip-order is gonna fill overnight...

Please just kill me now.

EDIT: Oh shit. Haha.

Hopefully you were long before Bitcoin.
Bitcoin just makes it easier.

Well, I was mostly having a blast as a wage slave, but being free of it all, is some next level shit. It's kinda nice to not give a fuck and worry about saying the wrong thing, in the current socio-political climate, and risk the chance of losing your job, or being "cancelled", as all the cool people are calling it.

I'm above all that now.

I can't recommend early retirement enough.

All things considered, I'm way more busy in retirement than I ever was as a wage slave. It's annoying, actually. Too many things in motion at once Smiley

#blessed

Or maybe, just maybe, there are just better hobbies out there for you, Bob? You’ve already won this game. Don’t just go back to bed, wake up and go win at another game. Buy a vineyard or something. I did. Without selling a single fracking sat.

Maybe, just maybe, I'm living life on my terms, having a blast, and know that I hold more BTC in reserve than I could reasonably spend in my lifetime.

I'm not wired to dump more BTC than I need to attain specific goals.

It turns out I oversold a bit this last round, and am now going slightly insane with part of the unallocated windfall.

Also, I'm not wired to try to game the tax system. I don't like creating more work for myself (jumping through hoops in avoidance of paying tax). If dumping BTC at levels I'm comfortable with, and paying Uncle Sam their 23.8% of flesh is the cost, so be it. I have lots of flesh.

Sue me.

Go Bawb go!

... and another $100 in BitcoinPP from $$$ I have hanging around in my account balance there ...

Fuck.

I need help.

EDIT: Limit order for another $500 chunk of dip @ $17,950 on Gemini in play.
EDIT2: Filled.
EDIT3: I have an appt to get one of my ponies worked on today. I was musing to Rick while out for coffee this morning "How super pissed off would you be if I just upgraded to a new car instead of getting the service done ?" and Rick just had to shake his head in abject disgust.

Just scooped another $500 worth of dip.

Absolutely degenerate.

Guys.

I'm starting to get scared.

I think I'm starting to see the blonde, brunette, and redhead while watching the stream of data.

So fucking pleased with myself with the recent buying degeneracy...

I feel naked. (not sure if #nohomo is appropriate now)

It's OK. I'm comfortable with my life knowing I'm an off-the-market faggot.

Jesus Christ I'm going full degenerate. Just decided to purchase another $100 worth of dip on Paypal with some of the cash balance I've accrued.
I hate myself.
Let it all out, mate.
Some people believe you might feel better if you'd express your emotions through a haiku.

Goddamnit Paypal.
Why do you take my money ?
Oh. It's for Bitcoin.

Just bought YET ANOTHER $500 bowl of dip.

I should probably go to bed now...
1456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 09, 2020, 05:35:05 AM
I've been running an aggregate view of the price on one of my systems, and for the last couple months, it's consistently been displaying 2-3 red candles, before resuming green candles.

I'm afraid I'm going to see 4 red candles on my aggregate view, if we keep dropping like this.

Guess I really should not be surprised to see some steam being blown off.

Still hoping we break $20k this month.

EDIT: Just bought $500 worth of dip, yet again, for... reasons.

FWIW, I'm converting part of my Paypal cash balances from transactions, into BTC, within the Paypal ecosystem.

I'm really angry with myself for doing that.

Already had to sell some "pocket lint" in BTC, to facilitate a refund on a USD transaction, and it asked for my SSN, before allowing me to continue.

HAR HAR IRS !!!

I SOLD THAT $25 AT A LOSS !!!
1459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 08, 2020, 09:11:24 PM
Anyone else buying dip ?

I've been doing a bit of late-nite stacking myself, over the last couple-few evenings.

Bought another $500 of dip just now...
