It seems like a bit of an overreaction on their part and I don't think that was ever the original intention of the trust system. Some people do take auction rules very seriously though and it does take time to set up, so they do not appreciate people who waste time. That said, the feedback is nonsensical and could be much better explained.

The only thing to do after violating the auction term was to ask me for a SegWit or standard address to pay the BTC1.84915808. And since it was the only time anyone had violated that term, I would be willing to transfer that debt & my account documentation (thanks UpsilonTrooper) in case FinCEN ever does prosecute/seize/repay the stolen BTC. |

Just want to get some clarifications. You are auctioning your 50000 XRP with a starting price of $0.99 each? Or $0.99 with the whole XRP?
The reserve amount is what you will pay for the whole 50,000 (and decimal change), not the price for each. I would have put $0.99 USD/XRP if my reserve amount was also denominated as $x USD/XRP. I don't really want to lock or move topic>edit>move back before the first bid, so this auction might take a loooong time if people don't read. |

That's a specific box of hate, not a Mystery Box OF HATE! The problem is old sport that there is an undefined level of hate in the hate box. I.e - would the recipient of the "box" be painfully blinded permanently ? Or would they be slightly anxious for days over the voodoo spell with dead wood head kind of hated ? As I've already exposed their creds above, screenshots would be academic. Mycelium doesn't display the full BTC address in user info & the offer they made was one where I would have gotten BTC (otherwise it would have showed me their full address to start, or upon my acceptance of their offer, I think).

IDK if there's a better thread for this, but I got a scam attempt from (no Bitcointalk username match) nicoled on Local Trader. ID 1JcUks...BDvL2w
Tried to get me to send XLM first, claimed I was "new" despite my 876 day account age vs their 24. I referred them to bitrated.com/thebutterzone/linked (and put my trader name in my profile for them, temporarily) but they ignored all my cross-linked ratings, then they tried to run the "increments" con, then after my last refusal they said "Yea and I'm stupid enough to send btc... No thanks" and stopped the trade.
Afterward, I found their offer under Buy Bitcoin in Los Angeles, CA. Screenshots taken if anyone wants me to upload to Imgur.
