1561  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has Anyone Heard Of AAABlockchain Ltd? on: July 14, 2016, 01:23:24 PM
I used to live in Belize. I suspect this company only exists in a folder on a shelf. BZ is a haven for scammers. Just fill out a few forms and you are in business.

Anyone interested in "investing" should understand that it will require LOTS of diligence.  Only invest in LICENSED businesses in YOUR COUNTRY.  The business should have a business plan that spells out EXACTLY how they will make a profit. You then sign a legal contract that is NOTARIZED.  Anything less means you are just kidding yourself.
1562  Other / Archival / Re: Do you have paypal account even though you have bitcoin? on: July 14, 2016, 01:13:13 PM
I dropped paypal when I started to use bitcoin for online shopping. Same with credit cards. Man, I have saved a ton in fees.  Grin
1563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what will be the contigency of bitcoin if internet went wrong? on: July 14, 2016, 01:09:21 PM
Same as everyone else.

If the Internet is gone we have bigger issues than bitcoin. While the code exists to broadcast transactions over radio, it would be very limited. I suppose you would need to have a ham radio connected to a laptop running a wallet. With few nodes it may be impractical. It mat be that in such a world the blue chip stocks would be bottled water, can goods, and ammunition; not bitcoin.

1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Didn't know I can loss all without winning anything on: July 13, 2016, 08:06:05 PM
Not really a surprise is it? Consider that in each bet the most likely outcome will be a loss. It has to be this way because the odds must always be in favor of the casino.  It is only the casino that is placing a smart bet
1565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you suspect Bitcoin Service providers are using Fractional Reserve banking? on: July 13, 2016, 07:58:29 PM
My guess is that somebody somewhere surely is or will.

1566  Economy / Services / Re: Need someone with female voice to call in paypal and remove limitation on: July 13, 2016, 02:58:39 PM
what? this is my first time heard it if we can remove the limit with female's voice. why you not download female's voice in google or record your female friends voice?

Obviously he wants someone to impersonate registered owner of the account, which is a fraud and illegal by the way.
Doubt anyone will fall for this, because it could get you in a world of trouble for a small fee you would get. Use caution.
It's clever if you consider the impersonator is the one who is more likely to get caught and do the jail time.
1567  Economy / Speculation / Re: We will break $800 they said... on: July 13, 2016, 02:10:54 PM
Didn't kwuckduck say the network was going to collapse after the halving because all the miners would drop out?  Lol
I thought he said there would be a rally to the moon? No, just kidding.  Grin
1568  Economy / Goods / Re: Thompson 1927A1 (Tommy Gun) 10.5in barrel & 50rd drum. Free shipping! on: July 13, 2016, 01:26:03 PM
Damn! I wish I was in America! I would have bought it then!
In my country you need to get threats from some terrorists in order to procure a license and even with that license too you are only allowed to buy a 50 years old handgun!

I feel for your plight brother. An attacker is not going to have a 50 year old antique. Your best bet is to try offsetting your lack of firepower with training.
In the early part of our history you could own a "ship of the line". That was the most powerful weapon on Earth, like owning an aircraft carrier or an ICBM. The people who try arguing that our founders were talking about muskets and could not envision modern firearms simply do not know their history.

Quote from: the future
"Grandpa, is it true that bitcoins used to only come on paper wallets"?  Cheesy
1570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton Pledges Support for Blockchain on: July 13, 2016, 01:13:06 PM
It's not really a choice anymore. The banks, the governments, Wall Streeters... They don't have a choice in my decision to use BTC. Now that it is clear that nobody is going to be able to stop bitcoin, of course they are showing support. The war is over and we won.
1571  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: someone should please teach me how to mine on: July 12, 2016, 05:34:48 PM
Hello friend. I may have some bad news for you about mining. Since bitcoin started many people have developed mines and the competition has skyrocketed with the price. In the beginning you could mine with the cpu of your computer. Then mining went to hacked gpu's (video cards). Finally, chips made specifically for bitcoin mining were invented. After than the competition switched to who has the fastest chips and the most chips.
So today a profitable mine looks like the one pictured below. It will take tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars to be very competitive now.

Mining may not be your best bet with bitcoin. But there are still many opportunities in the bitcoin economy.
-Cheers
1572  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 500Btc loan on: July 12, 2016, 04:31:39 PM
This is a terrible idea. Suppose you had done this 6 months ago. You borrow 500BTC, which was about $210,000. Since the price has gone way up, you would now owe $325000. That is another $115000. And that is just the principal! So as the price rises you fall ever further in debt. You can't pay, the lender is out the money, bad idea.
1573  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can keyloggers store your wallet password if you use on-screen keyboard? on: July 12, 2016, 04:01:55 PM
As mentioned, most can't because a software key is just a click on the screen and what letter was pressed at that spot on the screen is not available.
But I would like to mention that there is another way to log keys even if the computer in not on a network. Each time a key on the keyboard is pressed it "bleeds" a little electromagnetic energy. The signature of that energy is different for each key and with a sensitive antenna one can read the keystrokes at a distance. Combine this with a directional antenna, like a Yagi, and you can read everything at a surprising distance.
1574  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: which wallet that needs no syncing? on: July 12, 2016, 03:54:04 PM
Less syncing means less security.
I would not trust more than a few hundred dollars to a system like that. Many websites that host a wallet are not registered as a business and you have absolutely no protection at all. If the owner wakes up one day and decides to keep all the bitcoin... then that is that. You have no more money and zero chance of recovering your funds.
1575  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: I Don't Get It... on: July 12, 2016, 01:24:36 PM
I thought I remembered that Google ad-sense pulled it's support for faucet based adds? Is that right?
1576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Fucking Chinese on: July 11, 2016, 07:51:18 PM
As if it has to do with being Chinese.  Roll Eyes

Those F-ing hard workers, all they did is work hard and invest capitol.  I sat on my ass and got nothing! It's just not fair! Whaaaa!

1577  Economy / Goods / Re: Thompson 1927A1 (Tommy Gun) 10.5in barrel & 50rd drum. Free shipping! on: July 11, 2016, 05:49:41 PM
Honestly, I'd rather see my guns be used on someone or something that deserved it rather than some poor little critter or deer out enjoying its day! Tongue

*shrugs*

It's none of my business though of course.

'Murica!

I am not against hunting if you are actually feeding some one with the meat, but hunting is often used as a straw man to try to distract from the true reasons behind the right to bear arms in the USA by putting all firearm ownership under the rubric of hunting therefore attempting to justify the restriction of certain types of firearms.

Amen brother. I shoot about 200 rounds per week and own a variety of mostly target weapons. I always thought it was weird that people who were shocked by my AK's and AR's would make an exception for hunting. "Oh guns are violent and I think guns should be banned!!!! Well, unless you are blowing the brains out of wild animals. That would be fine with me."

Anyway, Fun gun you have there. These are made by Kahr who bought out Auto-Ordnance to get the Thompson machine gun. They also own Magnum Research and produce the Kahr striker fire pistols. I carry a K9 Elite most days and I'm a big fan of their steel frame models.
1578  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: July 11, 2016, 05:33:26 PM
How bout get a job?
well sometimes it is really hard to get a job so it is easier to say than to actually do it, i think i would sell all of my bitcoins i have in order to get money for a living and then find a job after some time
Fair enough. I only mention it because it is probably the most common way to earn money. But sure, a lot of people are looking and not finding jobs at the moment.
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2016-7-11]Developer Claims Ethereum is Stolen Intellectual Property, Files Comp on: July 11, 2016, 05:27:20 PM
...

Regardless, if you ask me, the Ethereum project will likely falter and fail in the foreseeable future. ...

ya.ya.yo!

I think so also. ETH was the banks reaching the "alt-coin" level of understanding. They will hate to admit they were wrong, but I think they will be back.
1580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does the halving depend on? on: July 11, 2016, 05:17:23 PM
Halving is one of the central features of bitcoin. Since there will be a fixed number of bitcoins produced, the number of potential bitcoins to be mined drops as others are generated by mining. Miners make their money by receiving block rewards and by transaction fees. As the number of mined bitcoins reduces the miners make more of their money from the transactions.
In this way the fee for a Tx is always pushed toward the smallest profitable fee.
