1161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can one use is Bitcoin talk forum account on: June 03, 2020, 01:21:49 PM
I have been participating in bounty campaign, but noticed I normally see one or two accounts every, was wondering why.
My question is that is there limitations as to the number of projects you use your Bitcoin talks forum account for.

What you imply is using two accounts on one campaign is a big no no, it's cheating, the bounty manager is fair that all are equally distributed in terms of marketing and distribution of stakes, if you are caught using two accounts on one campaign you will get red trust and no campaign will accept you, so it's better to be safe than sorry.
1162  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First Time here on: June 02, 2020, 06:29:30 PM
I don't find a section to introduce myself.
is my first time here and I'm reading stuff to understand how everything works I'm just a normal guy interested in cryptocurrency started using it almost 3 years ago]
I don't have much special knowledge only the basis we need to have since I'm a regular user, anyway, my first post here 2020
any tips? thoughts for a newbie?
Thank you

You don't have to worry, we all started as newbie here and most of us do not how things works here when we are starting, we learned it slowly and by just reading a lot on what's been posted here, start from reading a lot and you'll surprised to find out that you come along a way.
1163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To learn on: June 02, 2020, 05:39:27 PM
reply | watch | notify | mark unread | print
What is the function of one of these 5 topics
I would have benefited a lot।।।।।।

Explore and see for yourself obviously it's on the word reply if you want to reply, watch and notify if you want to get a notification of a new reply and mark unread because there will be markings when you read a topic by unmarking it you are not adding to the stat of the thread or topic, you still have to learn a lot on how this forum works so stop posting and read a lot.
1164  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining and Altcoin on: June 02, 2020, 05:44:42 AM

How does it work out when a business wants to create its own digital coin? Does this mean they buy a data center and try to mine coins or what? I understand something like ethereum as it is for smart contracts but having problems understanding other altcoins.

I don't recommend companies or businesses to set up their own chain or coin without understanding first how the technology works and what they are offering to the community, I have seen one insurance company trying to create his own mining coin or coin in smart contract without concrete plan about their coin and roadmap, this will result to failure.

1166  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Riots after Death of Man in Minneapolis Police Custody on: June 01, 2020, 09:59:05 AM
Those protesters that just want to loot just need a dose of despotism, they just don't care they are just an opportunist. Poor Floyd you're not remembered by these so-called empathetic opportunists they're just blind for their own interests.

These looters are disrespecting the memory of George Floyd, Floyd do not like this to happen, these protesters should police themselves they are joined by bad elements and they are using Floyd deaths to destroy properties, it's very crazy imagine burning privately owned building, it's has become an anarchy.
1167  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importance of recovery seed/private keys on: May 31, 2020, 04:06:59 PM
it's better to use wallet ofline, like Ledger, and your assets will be safe there,
or maybe using Myetherwallet is also safe, I've been using MEW for 3 years and until now the funds there are safe

There were issues on Myetherwallet in the past and besides this is an online wallet, there are a lot of phishing sites, it's better you used Mydesktop wallet, it's safe you own the key and the developers always updated the wallet, I've been using it for two years now.
1168  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump is planning to shut down Twitter or at least control it. on: May 31, 2020, 06:55:22 AM
Twitter has their own TOS even any president is not exempted to that, but sometimes twitter is going over board with their censorship, since Trump is a billionaire he might want to create a twitter like platform so no one can censor his speech that many are just hate and useless speech.

1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you trade if you won't leave your coins on exchange on: May 29, 2020, 05:16:41 PM
We are told several times on this forum never to leave your coins on exchange, well I know the difference about low rated exchanges and high rated exchanges and I know that many traders prefer high rated exchanges for trading because of volume and Liquidity but my point is there is no way to be a trader without your coins sleeping in exchange wallets, why? Because sometimes while you are asleep bitcoin can hit a new price target.

For example BTC is trading at 8000$ and I put up a sell order at 9000$, most times this won't happen in an instant, sometimes you wake up the next day and your order became successful isn't it? Now for those saying 'don't leave your coins on exchanges' how do you trade?

This is one of the risk that you have to put on, but if you are trading Bitcoin, then go for the the most reputable exchange in the industry, it's more safer than trading it on tier 2 exchange, but you don't want to put a sell order on only one exchange, better pick at least two good exchange to trade your Bitcoin.
1171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever get past $10K? on: May 29, 2020, 03:23:52 PM
Patient,  patient, that's all we need now, we will eventually get there, we have not yet feel the effect of halving, history will not fail us I'm confident we will eventually reach $10 k hopefully on the second quarter of the year, I'm very bullish that this year we are going to experience another all time high, but we still need to be careful of FOMO.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you donate in a casino? on: May 29, 2020, 01:26:26 PM
Why not if there is available funds more than willing to donate, but unfortunately because my country is one of the hardest hit by the pandemic I have to take care of my love one first, in fact I am also getting support from the government, but it's good that a casino is creating a fund drive for victims of this pandemic.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you donate in a casino? on: May 29, 2020, 11:57:38 AM
Hi guys Smiley

Even though many countries have reopened borders and people are getting back to work in the offices, the complicated time isn’t over yet and the risk is still high.
There are several organizations where you can make your efforts by donating.

So my question here is, if you are a person who is willing to donate, what choice would you rather use:
  • Participate in special charity programs or
  • Like to have a permanent possibility to donate straight on the casino site?

Cheers,
Karl

I prefer to go directly tot he organization ,not that I don't trust in the casino, but it's just my preference to donate directly to those who badly need need and take away the third part, but it's good to read that a lot of casinos are doing fund raising to donate to charitable instituion at this time of pandemic.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: May 29, 2020, 07:32:07 AM
I support this fight as long as they wear a protective gear and they come out a health certificate that they are both fit to fight, since this is a charity fight it should be like a sparring session between two friends who will just showcase their speed and timing but not their punching power, to the point that they are hurting each other, I believe they still have it.
1175  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FREEWallet.org stole 55 000$! be careful SCAM on: May 28, 2020, 05:39:42 PM
The only FREE cheese is in the mouse trap.
Why do people keep falling for that FREEWallet thing?

I think we need a lot of bloggers or article writers writing that these freewallets are scam and, although this thread alone will shoot up in the search engine, I hope many more of those who got scam will write their own stories in top article site like Medium, Publish0X they should be taken down for good,
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: May 28, 2020, 03:13:42 PM
It's 50/50 but you have a good chance if you tried to use martingale because there is no house edge, because it's physically tossing the coin no automated hit, we don't have something like this that is done on TV but flipping coins is very much popular in every town here, it's illegal here because because people play it in the street.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll about lottery game on: May 28, 2020, 12:19:06 PM
The thing is we are building a platform with no house edge, the winner will be decided by the players itself. we just charge a transaction fee for being a middle man

Very interesting I hope you can give us more details this, some of the lottery game are on provably fair but if you have a new algo like this one you mentioned let us have even a small information on how it's going to be run.
1178  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) (New) on: May 28, 2020, 06:40:46 AM

1179  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitforex is Scam! on: May 28, 2020, 06:22:19 AM
Is there any progress on this case of yours OP? I went to this thread the other day because I got a problem with bitforex too, at first I was really nervous because it is my first time to use it, however, I am amazed with the outcome, I accidentally sent my XRP to bitforex without a destination tag so I created a ticket, even made a video of me on how I did it, and they say usually it will take 7 days so I waited for it then I made another deposit of ETH since I will be using it for investing on their IEO, guess what? It didn't show and it took half day and still nothing, no ETH came on my wallet but what happened is, their live support is very helpful and instead of waiting for days, it only took a couple of hours and my funds were posted on my account so I think if you will follow the rules everything will be in place.

So you mean Bitforex is still a good and trusted exchange to deal with, I will not recognized that unless they fix the issues of OP, who have posted all his proofs, can you please post your proof that you have also transacted with this exchange.

I will never trade in this kind of exchange that failed to resolve this issue it will haunt them, deposit at your own risk here, you maybe become the next victim.
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: May 28, 2020, 04:31:24 AM
I prefer online gambling casinos because you can get out anytime you like, unlike in gambling casinos, where they offer you a lot o perks even offering you cash loan just for you to continue, casinos will do everything so you will get exhausted, they don't have a window or a clock for you to see if it is day or night and they offer a lot of energy drink, on online gambling you are on your own.
