1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can idena.io be the best altcoin in 2021? on: August 10, 2020, 04:12:51 PM
I can't find any information about this project at coinmarketcap, it looks like they are new and not updated project there. So it is difficult for it to become the best altcoin in this market
You are not searching enough you can find it on Coingecko
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/idena they have a huge spiked in price Idena is indeed the best project in 2021
and for more news about IDENA
Idena’s coin to be listed on Hotbit under the IDNA ticker

Good day everyone, I just joined this forum and I'm looking forward on how to make my contribution into this big forum.

The first thing to do is to read the rules and the guidelines keep it at heart, roam a lot in the meta and on this section to get more advice and guidelines after a week of reading I'm sure you are going to contribute a lot to the discussion, you have the making of a good member here and this what this forum needs and I guess all forum.
1123  Other / Meta / Re: How to change signature? on: August 08, 2020, 03:12:51 PM
Please. Checked it like 10x in my profile settings, still can't find where the signature settings is.  Grin

Even text is not available in newbie you need at least 1 merit and 30 activity before you can rank to the next level which is the junior member so try to get at least 1 merit and 30 activity and once you reach it will show up automatically but like all the other recommendation if you are going to promote your business get a copper membership.

1125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies beware of influencers -they might not know it all/it's can go wrong- on: August 06, 2020, 11:12:37 AM
Newbies build/work towards your own prediction/speculation by using instruments -news/information/questions-

And make sure you use multiple source to prevent bias or fake information, i've seen many people only rely from 1 source and turned out the source is biased on specific topic.

What's new these experts has their own biased based on what coins they are hoarding, you got to know if the advice is hype or shill, they should do what they preach if they are telling people to invest on these projects he should further explain why and it's potential and of course he is also one of its investors.
1126  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ReflectBitcoin Reviews: SCAM or LEGIT? on: August 06, 2020, 01:31:35 AM
You're asking or promoting? I thought you were promoting this ponzi scheme project. Enough evidence to say SCAM.

I'm sure he is promoting he is posting the best features of the site  and not asking us if it legit or a scam, it's a potential scam because it looks like a Ponzi scheme like what others are saying and even though it has no referral link on it this kind of project hire promoters to look like it's more of a review.
1127  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help recognize fraud on: August 05, 2020, 04:32:31 PM

I fear for my bank account. I don't want the police to come to me if I start working with him.

This is a fraud? Is it legal in the USA? Huh

You need to read about the TOS of the trading site and the bank that you are dealing with, and most of all do not deal with an unknown account
in short check the legality of this transaction, you might want to ask a lawyer for this, you need to be honest so that you will not risk getting charged for breaking rules or civil and criminal laws, this is bank transactions and you need to be transparent.
1128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why there are too many topics related to Crypto Scams here? on: August 04, 2020, 03:23:15 PM
This has been happened 6 months ago since I start create this topic in Meta to find a solution Expose scam site in Beginner & Help board?

And yeah, the answer is "All related scam project" should be posted in Scam accusations, you can use report to moderator and let the moderator move it. If the thread mainly discuss about how to avoid scams, it can be posted on Scam accusations or Beginner & Help (if you want).
Not only on this section I have seen some sections where there are scam reports and some of them are not created by newbies we should all be aware that if we want to get attention from what we are posting it should be posted in the right section because members expect to see what they want to see on their section of interest.
1129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do if you get scammed! on: August 04, 2020, 03:13:27 AM
There is a Jamiroquai song to play if you get scammed.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFUYxXgSmr4

Bitcoin is not paypal... transactions are not reversible, once the transaction is confirmed your coins are gone.

Same with other altcoins.

So, if you get scammed, play that song, is the best thing to do. As i always say, bitcoin leassons arent chep at all.

If you get scammed learned from it and post it in the scam section or create an article on it so you can warned people about this kind of scam, it's part of our experience here in Bitcointalk not that you are careless but you take the risk in investing or going for it, you will learn and you will get an insight on how to be a better investor.
1130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies are free to choose the journey they will go on: August 02, 2020, 01:34:59 PM
If only newbies will stop and roam around and start reading all the important threads here in this section he will not go astray and will develop into good posters but unfortunately, some of these newbies go straight into the bounty campaigns and become spammers of this forum.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty thread with self moderated lock on: August 01, 2020, 08:38:30 AM
You can question it if done by a new account who happens to be the bounty manager of the team but from an independent bounty manager coming from here I don't think it will be questionable if you question the project an independent bounty manager will gladly answer it but not from bounty manager that is part of the team, they do not want to be exposed.
1132  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to hire someone 600 usd a month on: July 30, 2020, 02:34:56 PM
Hiring someone for 7 hour work daily for 600 usd a month.

Very easy job ev3n a kid can do

Payment weekly in bitcoin

This guy is already offering similar kind of job since December and this is not good because he has no testimonial about the kind of job he is offering and besides this guy already had bad feedback from one member, not the kind of guy that you would want to work with

I'm quoting the feedback
Quote
This guy ask for people to make accounts on epicnpc website and scam the buyers by sending fake paypal payments as invoice and also sell stolen accounts. If you not want get on trouble then check here, and also he say can't pay you guys until he sell one account

1133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Too Many Altcoins! on: July 30, 2020, 10:52:34 AM
Do you ever wonder why there are many altcoins today? I was just thinking that since the main objective of cryptocurrency is to ease payment. Why would people create so much altcoins when people can only use bitcoin as a payment gateway? Are the founders of every altcoins creating their token for money?

Yes, there are developers who create coins for money, because it's easy to create your own token because of it's open-source, the trickiest part id finding coins or token that has a usage, Bitcoin can serve every industry but because there are developers that want to serve a particular industry on the coin they are making, so many coins or tokens are created and there is a new technology that revolves around Cryptocurrency.
1134  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This forum consisting of learned and disciplined members on: July 30, 2020, 09:54:55 AM
Yeah, I agree on all your points but this forum also has a lot of scammers pretending to be legit developers and sometimes we find this all too late, yet we are doing everything to get rid of these scammers, this is an independent forum and scams and questionable projects are not moderated everyone is given a chance to defend themselves, it's a fight between good and bad members.
1135  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Covid will take your money on: July 29, 2020, 02:17:57 PM
I just stumble this article and it says
Quote
Finally, there is little evidence that eliminating the use of cash would make a difference in the spread of COVID-19, nor do we have data to support that this virus maybe easily transmitted by any type of contaminated surface.

from https://theconversation.com/you-dont-need-to-worry-about-spreading-the-coronavirus-with-cash-137865

Here in our country so many people are still using cash and coins to pay for products and services, we have so many retail stores here and these stores do not accept cashless because of the fee imagine buying two eggs using a credit card or any cashless transaction.

Court Rules Bitcoin Is a Form of “Money” Under Washington D.C. Money Transmitters Act
https://btcmanager.com/court-rules-bitcoin-money-washington-dc-money-transmitters-act/

IMO, this news could be huge news for the entire crypto community I think this will bring us one step closer to mass adoption. What do guys think?

Can this ruling applied to other court cases outside of Washington DC, because it is clearly stated in the article
Quote
Peter Van Valkenburgh, director of research at Washington-based crypto and blockchain-focused non-profit Coin Center said the district court’s ruling means that bitcoin is treated as money only in the context of D.C.’s money transmission law.
I don't think it can be applied to other countries with similar cases it goes down on how the jury or judge appreciates the value of Cryptocurrency on other countries.
1138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ignorance the cause of scam and hack. on: July 28, 2020, 04:10:07 PM
Some people do not know that they are ignorant, because they listen to other people's advice without doing on their own research, and this is the highest kind of ignorance if you are listening to many people without coming out with your own decision, you can listen to other people but you must come out with your own decision and respect whatever the outcome.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: July 27, 2020, 03:15:17 AM

But still, Tyson is getting old, and he is older than Jones. But we will see if Tyson still has a power like before, but I guess that will be a tough fight between them because they are now is not young anymore. But both Tyson and Jones have experience in boxing, and they will use the strategy to win.
This is what the athletic commission chief  said the only way any of the fighters can win is by stoppage but they should not hurt each other and people should not expect they are going to go full force to try to hurt each other they will show people the kind of condition they are in at this stage, but we do not know if this will really happen, as both fighters are hard puncher.

1140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Freelancer get payed by Bitcoin? on: July 25, 2020, 04:16:02 AM
Dears,

Do you know a place to do works or activity and gain BTC in different ideas, ex:

1- freelancers marketplace
2- alternative for freebitco.in
3- Fiverr  alternative

please list it here

thanks

Fiverr is not an alternative anymore because they are not offering Bitcoin or any Cryptocurrency as payment for their freelancers or accept payments for works, but I love to see them accept again because there are many freelancers there whose works are related to Cryptocurrency.
