1101  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Lies on: August 30, 2020, 09:42:50 AM
Yesterday there was a massive protest in Berlin, Germany against the draconian measures taken by the govt against the citizens.
In Lonodn yesterday a similar protest took place in Trafalgar Square.

There were already protests in the Netherlands, Ireland and other countries - all calling for the governments to stop the lockdown, stop issuing fines against those who don't want to wear a mask and most importantly - stop lying to the public with fabricated numbers about "new cases" etc.

This is not a pandemic, by all means.

Is the virus real? Yes, it's real - but panic is not the answer.

Lockdowns are not the answer.
Masks are not the answer.

What would it take for the world to change its stance against the Coronavirus?

It seems like it was so easy to brainwash so many people and make them believe as if we're dealing with apocalypse here -

Well, the apocalypse is how the governments are terrorizing people's lives.

If lockdown and mask is not the answer then what is, you mean we have to go out and think that this Covid is nothing I think you are the one brainwashing the people that mask is not the answer when it is, why not go out and do not wear a mask and lets in a matter of weeks if you are not infected, it's ok to wear mask it's a proven way to keep the virus from spreading.
1102  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lazarus Group campaign targeting crypto thru LinkedIn on: August 29, 2020, 07:03:16 AM
The management should start deleting fake profiles and trace where these people are signing up, we know-how good LinkedIn reputation, and if they are not going to fix this, people will be leaving their platform, because this is a subscription-based platform and you do not pay just to get your account hacked, better clean up their platform.
1103  Economy / Services / Re: new unique project give btc to get altcoins on: August 28, 2020, 08:37:36 AM
Lol sure. Give btc to receive shitcoins.
This idea isn't new, it's called an ICO, and it's been done before to death

But you're getting random weekly shitcoins here. That's different from ICO, like getting robbed on the street versus getting robbed in many different settings every week. This could part fools with their money much more comprehensively so the OP might be onto something here.

no not robbery here men !!

Yes it is it's like we give you real cash in exchange for a post-dated check, or we'll give you bitcoin in exchange for a coin like Adab and we'll wait for the dev to come back and develop the project, great idea you are starting a new scheme here, why don't I think of this so I can unload my shitcoins from my wallets it's been a sore to the eyes for years now.
1104  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why don't more people invest in btc? on: August 28, 2020, 02:20:26 AM
I'm wondering why the general population hasn't yet caught on and started investing in bitcoin. These days people seem to be willing to immediately invest into the stock market, but not into any cryptos, when it has such a large potential in the future. Why is this the case?

They still think that Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency is in the trial stage and they want to prefer to invest in proven investment schemes just like stocks mutual funds and traditional investment, many people want to play it safe, but they will soon found out how great investment in Cryptocurrency is but they will soon realize they should have invested earlier.
1105  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good sections for newbie? on: August 28, 2020, 12:38:25 AM
We have two kinds of newbies, newbies from this forum and newbies from Cryptocurrency if you are newbies from this forum but not from Cryptocurrency two sections that you should start with meta section and beginners help section this is to familiarize yourself on forum rules and regulations but you can always participate in every section.
If you are a newbie on both this forum and cryptocurrency I recommend that you spend and concentrate on meta and beginners section and only move around when you know the rules and regulations by heart.
1106  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Money stolen from blockchain.com on: August 27, 2020, 05:38:30 PM
There's not much we can do to help, you're going to have to wait on the support to get back to you. Did you not enable 2fa or a secondary password?

Your funds are likely gone if it isn't a glitch on their system - you're going to probably have to take this as a lesson if you have more btc to accumulate or more btc in general. Blockchain or any Web wallet isn't very secure.

That is why whenever there are coins that arrived at my wallet in blockchain.com I immediately transfer it to my custodial desktop wallet, there are a lot of bad reports about blockchain.com, this is not the first time I read about this issue, people should be aware of this, don't put out all your coins to one wallet especially to an online wallet like Blockchain.com
1107  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Someone who believed virus not real had wife dead to Covid-19 on: August 25, 2020, 01:47:42 PM

The full news at
BBC News - Man who believed virus was hoax loses wife to Covid-19
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-53892856

Also I noticed people like to undermine covid-19 until they fall victim or they know someone that fall victim. Please, prevention is better than cure, let us all, all the time be using facemask and hand sanitizers. And at home, soap is better. We should also try as possible to maintain social distance.

This is not an isolated case so many people still believe that CoVid is fabricated and not real, this is very risky behavior when even people who are very careful and follow the protocol can get the virus, people should watch and check what is happening today and don't act like a superhuman being that they are not vulnerable to the virus, repenting is very late.
1108  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think COVID19 is a scam? on: August 24, 2020, 04:46:32 AM
I saw this morning that 13 people died in Peru after the police raided a birthday party. The police are trying to claim the people were crushed trying to escape through a single door... it's the most bullshit story I've frankly ever heard in my life. Peru has had EXTREME lockdowns and still has been "overran" by this invisible monster... https://www.rte.ie/news/2020/0823/1160820-peru-nightclub-deaths/

At this point, I firmly believe that COVID19 is extraordinarily oversold and being used to oppress people across the world using the fear of an invisible monster.

It's extremely scary seeing the police starting to murder people to "keep us safe".

I like to believe it is here in our country a government official in one of our city talk about shooting who is not wearing a facemask and always go outside of their home, although he already apologized, some government officials are using this to bully or impose their authority to civilians
and that is in the name of the pandemic, they now have a reason to abuse the civilians.

1109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for a book on: August 23, 2020, 11:32:02 PM
Hello I am not looking to reinvent the wheel but I would like to get a book that could teach me enough about crypto that I could fork btc and tweak it, I don't want to make a public alt coin I just want to have a better understanding than I do now. I want to be able to look at an alt coins code and understand if it's good or bad coding etc....all the books I seem to find are about what blockchain is and bitcoins history, things I am more than familiar with. Thank you in advance.

I hope all the newbies that are joining this forum has a mentality like yours most of the newbies I've encountered just want to be part of bounty campaign or promoting their projects here in Bitcointalk and thank you for posting your question I stumble a link where to download the link to enhance my knowledge about Cryptocurrency and blockchain.
1110  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia has developed covid-19 vaccine. on: August 23, 2020, 06:51:35 AM
When I was reading the news, these were the key points:

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said a locally developed vaccine for Covid-19 has been given regulatory approval after less than two months of testing on humans.

Amid fears that safety could have been compromised, the World Health Organization (WHO) urged Russia last week to follow international guidelines for producing a vaccine against Covid-19.

Currently, the Russian vaccine is not among the WHO's list of six vaccines that have reached phase three clinical trials, which involve more widespread testing in humans.

Russian scientists said early-stage trials of the vaccine had been completed and the results were a success.

The Russian vaccine uses adapted strains of the adenovirus, a virus that usually causes the common cold, to trigger an immune response.

But the vaccine's approval by Russian regulators comes before the completion of a larger study involving thousands of people, known as a phase-three trial.

You can read the full news from the link below
BBC News - Coronavirus: Putin says vaccine has been approved for use
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-53735718

I think the Russian rush it, very similar words Russians and Rush it, if they think they are effective and they have done the right process in their own way, then they can try it first on their own, there are negative feedbacks on their claims because clinical trial needs a lot of time and process, I prefer doing everything I can do avoid getting infected than get a vaccine create hurriedly by the Russian.
1111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earn Cryptocurrency on: August 22, 2020, 03:00:04 PM
Here's the best bitcoin website I know of: https://cointiply.com/home

It has surveys, faucets, games, etc. for earning bitcoin.

I used some of my earnings to buy games online!

Typical newbie stuff where you earn a few cents worth of Coins, that's where I started kinda annoying if you are working on Faucets because there are too many pop-ups, and if you have a very slow connection you cannot get fast those captchas, still the best is to be a good writer and be good in bounty hunting, it takes effort and time, but once you stumble a good project you'll make a lot.
1112  Other / Off-topic / Re: Contact tracer vs scammers. on: August 21, 2020, 08:17:29 AM

1. your name and address
2. health information
3. the names of places and people you have visited[/b]

We do have a contact tracer herein our country but they are not the kind that will send emails or call you they usually visit people while wearing protective gear, and if someone calls me about my information I will not be obliged because I hate giving my information to emails and phone calls I prefer filling up information and I must know who I am dealing with
1113  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question on price projection on: August 21, 2020, 01:23:22 AM
I've been holding a few bitcoins for about 3 years now and am wondering about the projected price.  We keep reading projections that it's going to go to $100,000 or $1,000,000 or some other sky-high amount in the next 1 to 3 years.  My question is how will this ever happen if every time it gains $500 to $1,000 we hit resistance where the bottom falls out and then all the analysts say it's because it was over-bought?  I'm starting to think I should cut my losses and sell.

Those are an overhyped statement, unfortunately, it's hard to ignore this because it's coming from these so-called experts like McAfee and some so-called tech experts, these words are not guaranteed it's still your decision and your analysis that matters, you either believe the hype or go for analysis, history, and events are here for you to analyze and come out with the best decision.
1114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin could be a scam ? on: August 18, 2020, 01:04:18 PM
Hi guys
do u think bitcoin could be a scam ? do you think bitcoin developper satoshi can decide to scam peoples
and create more supply then sell everything and dump the price to zero ?

You mean after ten years you still that thinking or suspicion that Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto scam people, how is he going to do that when his shares are not moving for over ten years now, and he is nowhere to be found and besides the code he created is open-sourced, any developers or coders can check it and so far there is no such thing like that if he is going to do that he could have done that long ago.
1115  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A vaccine too early could be dangerous. on: August 14, 2020, 02:14:31 PM
Two things either they will lose their reputation if there is a side effect on their vaccine because of not enough time of giving the vaccine to take full effect or the world will praise them as the first country to create a safe effective vaccine for CoVid, of course, they have taken all consideration and they want to choose the latter but they seems to be so sure about its effectiveness so let's see they will start manufacturing I believe in October.
1116  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Youteme.com scam or legit ? on: August 14, 2020, 01:37:19 PM
I can not believe that this is real or legit as $0.08 for a single referral is way too much in my opinion regardless or whatever video it is. They simply are trying to get visitors to show their advertisement and earn some bugs. I just have searched for online review but did not find any.

If the site stat is really right Users
Quote
Online 7,515
then how come they have a low traffic rank on Alexa 987,020 it doesn't reflect
and the rate on their ads to pay users just to views ads is beyond logic some ads network only pays 0.001 per ads
they said they already paid
Quote
Paid:USD 5,865,361
how come we cannot see any payment or payout proof.
1117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How you can earn money from bitcointalk.org? on: August 13, 2020, 11:52:06 AM
Nowadays many people think this forum is a source of income, I don't know why they think like this. This is forum to discuss about bitcoin, not for work! If you want to get money, focus on 1 skills what you good or like... And apply on freelance site. Actually you can earn more money by that's job.

Bounty campaign is not worth it, only wasting your time with worthless coins, avoid it.

Keep in mind, signature campaign is only a bonus from your dedication to forum... similar like people give merit (bonus) on a high quality post.

I don't think there's something necessarily wrong with gaining some income from Bitcointalk. I mean, both of us are in signature campaigns, aren't we?

The problem just arises when people come here solely for the money, even when they don't know crap about the Bitcoin, which is the main niche of the forum they're trying to earn in. Those kinds of people end up just spamming to gain post count and activity, effectively decreasing the quality of conversations here in Bitcointalk. Thank God for the merit system, though.

The merit and trust system is a big help for this forum to get rid of spammers and scammers, now everyone here is compelled to follow guidelines and stop spamming this forum with useless posts, because of you are going to participate in any bounty campaign your trust and merit is your qualification that you are not a spammer nor a scammer and if you have merits and trust you are not only respected but you are qualified in all bounty campaigns.

You should take heed the advice of the senior members here, it's your withdrawal you should be the one to address this to support, you should be careful on people who supposedly had a contact on the gambling, you must make sure first that you received your withdrawal first before sending people their reward.

i know i respect their advice but i lost here like hundreds of times i mean countless times, and now when i really won money they are out of funds to pay? what the hell

Do you think creating a thread like this can help you with your issue? you have one thread in the scam section about them how do you expect them to pay you if they are really paying but only delayed their payment if you accused them of scamming you if you think they are scam then do not expect them to pay you, unless they reach out to you and pay you.

They will suffer the same fate as P2PB2B they want to launch a campaign here but unfortunately, they cannot because of their reputation that is tarnished, they should resolve the issues or try to before they can launch one here for participants this is one campaign only there are more to come don't let your reputation be ruin.
