Also, given the amount of people who seem to love pulling out the last minute and wasting all our time, please just send the coins in to the escrow if you want to get your place in. This should go like a first come first serve basis based on the coin input now.

+1 Yup!

+1 Sticking with the GROUP BUY!

Cheaper... and at least we have a name and face with it as well. Go Ragin!

ragingazn628 please start/continue PMming people who haven't paid or gauging interest in replacing spots with other parties... aka earn the 1% fee and get this order in!  I know there's interest as zefir continues to get payments on his thread.

I'd switch this to a first-pledged, first-served group buy.  Calculate how many chips remain in the spreadsheet and edit the OP to say we've still got some availability.  24 hours in and not half of the funds have been collected... Waiting for non-payers hurts everyone.  Avalon has sold at least 500,000 chips at this point in time (https://blockchain.info/address/1FGAftzSTztFSB8LMwsrdCKTyqGY6zr3sU) and the longer till the order is placed the further back in the production queue we go.

+1 Yup!

In an effort to help the community. I will track the trades people post on the thread there so we can have at least a manually exchange ticker available. As data comes in I will manually update it.
5265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Human Mined Alt Coin? on: April 24, 2013, 01:56:56 AM
Would it not be "boring"?

The idea of digitalcoin is that it allows you the freedom to pursue alternatives while mining is done electronically.

Rounded left overs should be offered to those who have already paid or pledged.

No need to complicate things with the raffle. Then if not picked up by anyone you can take those on the wait list.
5269  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASICs CHIPS! Using JohnK as Escrow! Pledge reached!! on: April 23, 2013, 11:57:08 AM
Shipping from Avalon to OP is set.... the shipping from OP to you is not set. You will work out shipping to you later.

You are paying for...

1. Chips.
2. Shipping chips from Avalon to OP.
3. JohnK escrow fees.
4. OP's pain and suffering fees.

Later each person will arrange shipping with the Original Poster (OP).

When do you need our details OP?

So let me be one of the other people trying to hurry this order along.

Please up my order to 24.96BTC for 320 chips.
5274  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASICs CHIPS! Using JohnK as Escrow! 600+ / 780 BTC pledged! on: April 22, 2013, 06:06:54 AM
How will this delay, if at all, end delivery?

Will we miss the current manufacturing run?

When do we need to get our BTC in so that we are part of the first run of wafers?

If time is an issue if we all up our orders we can get to 780 today if need be right?

(Currently I am at 20 BTC but I am willing to go 24.96 BTC and go for 320 chips, total with shipping and fees 25.584, if everyone else adds 2% to 5% more to their orders in order to speed this up if necessary.)
5275  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASICs CHIPS! Using JohnK as Escrow! 600+ / 780 BTC pledged! on: April 22, 2013, 05:06:18 AM
How will this short delay getting BTC to the magic 780 affect our ordering at AVALON? Will a week or more be a huge issue in getting our 10K chips 1 or 2 months later or are we likely to get something in 10 to 12 weeks from now? Did I miss it in the thread if I did sorry for the worry? OP can you post that info as well in the OP so we can gauge the urgency we need on this?

Thanks again for everything ITCHY to pull the trigger on this!
5276  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [WTS] Avalon Chips Available to Order; Purchase Consortium, 1 chip minimum. on: April 21, 2013, 12:36:41 PM
that is quite bizarre. they need some govt funding pronto.

from the forums i cannot tell if they are sold out or if it is a bug.

Ron Paul is from Texas.  His district has potholes in the streets, burned out street lights, low taxes, and satisfied voters.
I looked at a very nice house in Yoakum at a very good price, but I find that I like higher taxes and paved roads.  I find I am undecided about street lights.

+ 1 Liberal douchebag.... ( Wink wink!)

Jika Anda memiliki pertanyaan jangan ragu untuk email saya di darin.bicknell@gmail.com (Sorry for the Google Translate)

I have an order in for 540 avalon chips. I will be producing a PCB and BOM for 4 chip, 8 chip and 16 chip version ASIC miner as a prototype here in Indonesia. I am interested in selling 4 chip, 8 chip and 16 chip ASIC miners only in Indonesia starting in September. These will NOT be pre-ordered they will be sold only when in stock. I plan on building my own 500+ chip ASIC as the start of my mining farm project. This is simply an announcement for Indonesians in the bitcoin community and I will post here again in a few weeks when I have more information about this plan.

If you have any questions feel free to email me at darin.bicknell@gmail.com (Maaf untuk Google Translate)

It would be even more sexy if somehow your PCB's could be modified for the Avalon chips that are now on sale.
