August? September? Possibly earlier?

Wow... words you can bank on. Grin

Didn't think so...  Grin

Sickening BFL is just sickening.
4584  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL RIP OFF... price up 90%, 50GH/s for 2499$. on: June 11, 2013, 06:20:03 AM
Still waiting....

Proof? Evidence?

Those be nice to have.
4586  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Reliable? on: June 11, 2013, 06:18:57 AM
Shipping much yet?
4587  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is an 80% decrease in power consumption possibe when going from 110nm to 65nm? on: June 11, 2013, 06:18:16 AM
EDIT: Looks like avalon falsified their real world numbers on their site, even after the fist machine was already in customers' hands. They updated them to "reflect customers' experience" to 620w for a 66Gh/s rig.

Given avalon's actual 9.4 W/Gh power consumption, I really doubt BFL can even accomplish 3 W/Gh, let alone 1.

What were the power numbers?
4588  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL or Avalon on: June 11, 2013, 06:14:53 AM
Shocked look who decided to show up. Don't you have units to ship?
4589  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Reliable? on: June 11, 2013, 06:13:32 AM
Close. He's a BFL troll. With BFL shipping faster and faster, the trolls are getting desperate...

I want BFL to do great.  I would buy if they didn't have bad track record.   Shipping faster then before.... isnt saying much.

4590  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL or Avalon on: June 11, 2013, 06:11:30 AM
I think there is no point in " OR ".
@ the moment I'm going to do Avalon chips assembly.
Later when/if BFL will provide reference docs I'll probably go for BFL chips assembly service.
Anyway BFL is an year late. Avalon is a few months late.
BFL have some kind of customer service. Avalon have none.
@ the end I would say " BOTH "

Time for you to be Avalon / BFL and to fill in the white spaces... I hope we can do that. As long the chips keep coming.
4591  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Reliable? on: June 11, 2013, 05:05:24 AM
Hmmmm,

How is BFL doing?
4592  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is an 80% decrease in power consumption possibe when going from 110nm to 65nm? on: June 11, 2013, 05:03:52 AM
Numbers... who needs numbers.
4593  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL or Avalon on: June 11, 2013, 04:59:48 AM
Avalon.
4594  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL RIP OFF... price up 90%, 50GH/s for 2499$. on: June 11, 2013, 04:58:03 AM
Ship any yet?
4595  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: 65 nm Chips - [BFL ACCEPTED 100% ESCROW by John K.] - Group Buy #1 - Kernel32 on: June 11, 2013, 04:51:35 AM
They haven't done anything...

Where are the units?

Where are the chips?

Where are the documents for someone to actually design a PCB?

If you actually think these people at BFL can be trusted to put all the necessary information out and have working "grade A" chips the you are delusional. Seriously what does price have to do with anything given their track record. No one is going to design anything for these chips it would be a waste of time. They can't even design a board and they have had 11 months! Also who wants to buy from BFL at all? They pretty much slit their own throats and as a community no one especially PCB designers should come to their aid. Let em rot.

If trusting BFL is delusional, then I am delusional and that's my problem, please don't try to cure me. So far they delivered 6 units to me, so I am OK with being delusional.

Who wants to buy from BFL? I am pretty sure they will and have lots of customers (but then again, I am delusional).

Let them rot?
  Grin Grin Grin
Man, you have issues or really love theatricals.

No theatrics...

Where are the fucking the miners?
Where are the fucking chips?
Where are the fucking design specs to make a PCB work with the chips?
Which kind of fucking chips will they ship grade D?

Dude stop being a poster boy for a lost cause. BFL is a turd that won't even float.
4596  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: June 11, 2013, 04:47:48 AM
Burnin is there a way for you to create a stencil for this PCB for us DIY guys so we can apply solder paste through the stencil. This would make it much easier for those that want to assemble there PCB's themselves. I have 750 or so chips coming in and this would make it much easier.

+1

We should all work together on that as with 3 different builds (DIY) Klondike, Quarter Stick and BitBurner we could really cut down costs.
4597  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Klondike] Case design thread for K16 on: June 11, 2013, 04:42:52 AM
The rack in my shop begs to differ, and begs to hold as many of those as it can.

Which? 1U server idea? K256? 700W?
4598  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Anyone taking perorder for asic made with bfl chips? on: June 11, 2013, 04:30:19 AM
It's a valid question.

At current prices, an Avalon chip is ~$8.50 for ~280MH/s, or 33MHs/USD.
A BFL chip is $75 for ~4000MH/s, or 53MHs/USD, with better power efficiency.

Jalapenos are shipping pretty regularly now, and all of their recent delays have been board related, not problems with the chips. If all BFL is doing is grabbing them from the manufacturer and shipping them to you, it'd be pretty hard to fuck that up.

Where is the board design to make an ASIC?
When will the chips be delivered and what grade to put these products out?

Remember Avalon also posted the technical specs and people have been able to design something based on a working example. Why would anyone bother with BFL given their track record? I suspect that the GEN2 Avalon will be to market and someone will have a PCB ready concurrent to that. BFL has nothing of the sort so why would anyone waste their time building a board at this point for BFL. No documents to do it with.
4599  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL ASIC specifications on: June 11, 2013, 04:09:22 AM
They got at least $7million in pre-order payments if you can believe http://bfl.ptz.ro/ which I don't.

Is that what you call money problems?

Then they should have hired professionals to do their design work for them in the first place. Actually they could do it right now, and maybe get a good second-gen product out of the door before they lose too many customers. Or perhaps Josh is just looking to buy an island using the pre-order stash?

Loose customers yeah lol, like the 7million came from thin air did it?  I would say they have at least 7mill worth of customers.
The ASIC is designed, they work, and they are shipping fast. If you are trying to make a point about some other ASIC they may make in the future fair enough, if not then I suspect you are just trolling. The latter is more likely from the tone of your BS.

Yup, trolling. But then you're shilling. I'm new here and I thought it was about time I lost the Mr Nice Guy facade and tried out my darker instincts. But it is my honest opinion of BFL. Nice to rattle your cage  Grin BTW its lose, not loose (though some of their customers might be getting a bit loose in the bowel department given all the delays and shenanigans).
