1661  Economy / Economics / Re: Fear & Greed Index, the Inspiration for Trading FOT on: May 04, 2019, 01:12:20 AM
Imagine how early investors and skeptical people were there when bitcoin was created. Fear was eminent and those who saw the potential of bitcoin grabbed the chance to adapt early. Now, that the hype on bitcoin due to it's popularity and potential is eminent, people are panicking to buy even those who don't have knowledge about crypto.

As long as you have knowledge you will never hesitate and ask what ifs or seek what might, you will always be on the right track. You will not hesitate when you know what is coming, and you will not grab something that might left you with nothing. Crypto market is all about timing and psychological warfare.
1662  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF and World Bank explore crypto merits with blockchain project on: May 04, 2019, 12:57:30 AM
It is not really far that these  institutions will make their way to study and learn about blockchain. It's great to see that they are open for this and that they are willing to accept and learn something new that might bring them benefit. I think banks will benefit big time on blockchain in terms of record tracking which would save them more time, effort, and resources. In time, blockchain technolgy will be widely adapted and accepted.

1664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Price of alts when BTC pumps on: May 03, 2019, 11:36:48 PM
usually it happens like this when the value of the bitcoin rises also the value of the altcoin grows, this time it seems it has not happened so in spite of the slow and constant growth of btc the altcoin don't follow this trend, therefore the best strategy i think is to sell the altcoins that don't grow in exchange for those that have some possibility of increase in value...

Simply because most altcoin are paired with bitcoin/fiat/ethereum, so logically if bitcoin price increases it also has a direct effect in altcoin. Of course this excludes shit coins, dead coins, coins with low trading volume. Rise of bitcoin can also lead to decrease in altcoin price because some are selling their altcoin to go along with the bitcoin price hike. They sell alt to buy bitcoin. Either of which happens whenever bitcoin price moves.
1665  Economy / Speculation / Re: With Bitcoin roaring to the North, any hope for waiters of $1800 bottom? on: May 03, 2019, 06:26:54 PM
That's just another speculation. We're done with the $1800 so we should expect a better value than that. There would always be positive and negative speculations but let's just hold on to what we believe. Crypto is actually getting better as massive and unexpected speculations are occurring. No one would want the bottom that you're saying anymore because everyone is hoping for the best value.
1666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get notifications when BTC rices or drops on: May 03, 2019, 05:47:38 PM
I use Blockfolio since then but it couldn't notify you as you want. You have to check it. There are also reliable apps on Appstore so you just have to find one with good reviews. If you want to be sure, you can check prices on Coinmarketcap.
1667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? on: May 03, 2019, 09:47:11 AM
In our country we have our local wallet where users can directly trade fiat-bitcoin/eth/xrp/bch or vice versa. We can use it to pay bills, services, purchase goods since other merchants accept online payment, and it even use it to directly make a deposit to a bank.

I hope as time goes by, the usage of crypto will not be limited as in we can use it to buy anything.
1668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need some bitcoin theft victims support on: May 03, 2019, 07:00:06 AM
Even with KYC verification it's difficult to ensure that the real identity of the thief is used for the KYC procedure. No thief would reveal their true identity if their real purpose in the first place upon entering an exchange is to steal. It's easy for anyone to pass the KYC procedure without using their real identity.
1669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Traditional Payment Processors on: May 03, 2019, 06:07:42 AM
If we are talking about future, sure. With technology and it's non-stop development cryptocurrency will fit to replace or become fully adapted as an alternative to fiat. If we compare bitcoin against traditional payment process, bitcoin has a lot of advamtage over traditional payment since it removes the need of mifdle-man, making the process quicker, convenient, and with lesser fees.
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any knows the mathematical formula to winning the lottery? on: May 03, 2019, 05:52:26 AM
If there had been formulas for this, then mathematicians would've spent their time for this and a lot of them would've been lottery winners by now. I think no such thing exists since lottery is really created to be a game of chance.
1671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered a Religion? on: May 03, 2019, 04:45:41 AM
Considering how many Bitcoin believers (maximalists) there are, with their specific beliefs of how cryptocurrency should behave, it's becoming more evident that Bitcoin is a religion. After all, this popular movement of decentralized finance has impacted our lives one way or the other. The world has its eyes on the direction of Bitcoin as a digital currency which determines the path forward of Blockchain technology.

According to Google, the term "Religion" means the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods. This becomes true especially when many Bitcoin followers believe that Satoshi is some sort of "god". Hence, if Satoshi would reveal himself to the public, many people will follow him.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh

I believe that Satoshi Nakamoto is a genius for creating bitcoin, but never had considered him as "GOD." People believed in cryptocurrency because of the convenience, financial freedom, and earning potential. Would be absurd if there will be a bitcoin cult or religion.  Roll Eyes
1672  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: May 03, 2019, 04:24:30 AM
It is really alarming that there had been a lot of money that was taken from people's wallet in crypto and how cryptocurrency is used for illegal activities. It's not shocking since cryptocurrency offers anonimity to it's users that is why it is most likely used in illegal and fraudelent activities. That is why, some are starting to regulate cryptocurrency to lessen this risk.

In our country, due to cryprocurrency scam that is also rampant in our country, a lot of people have a bad impression about crypto which most of them are newbies. This can affect crypto awareness and adaptation due to the risk it implies.
1673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to recover when you are down 90% of your portfolio? on: May 03, 2019, 04:15:09 AM
Sell all the shitcoins you have and buy coins that already has good foundation and trusted to atleast make up for your losses. Find other alternatives to earn, and move on from your loss. Do not grieve over your losses or else you will lose other opportunities to earn.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting analysis things on: May 03, 2019, 04:01:10 AM
I don't even consult this kind of sites when I bet on sports. Scores are just numbers, what will give you the best guide or reference for your analysis is your knowledge about the sport, teams, team advantages and weakness, and their edge among other teams.
You are right but somehow using up these things as preferences isnt really a bad idea after all yet you can also make your own analysis tagging up some info that you can possibly get with them.
It just a matter of preference on how people would make use of these things and answering on topic,i get used to visit out livescore just like what other people do said above.

Agree, using scores as a preference can also be a good thing to add in your data for sport analysis. This can guide you along with the information and your knowledge about the game. Flashscore will be enough for score analization.
1675  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freebitcoin bot - What do you think of this tool? on: May 03, 2019, 03:37:32 AM
Well, the satoshi auto-claim will be really helpful. However, the bot for betting Hi-Lo might not be benifitial in the long-run, betting manually will always be better and preferable.

1677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NYPD: Bitcoin thieves posing as government officials have stolen over $2M on: May 02, 2019, 09:53:45 PM
Securing our funds and wallets is the best weapon that we could have against scammers. They are everywhere so we better look for ways to get rid of them. Transacting with suspicious individuals or sites would be a risk so we should think before we click. We must not let them find their own ways to scam and steal our earnings.
1678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 20 TOP Cryptocurrency Countries that visit Crypto Exchanges on: May 02, 2019, 09:35:12 PM
I didn't expect that my country wouldn't be a part of the top 20 because I thought that there are really lots of traders here and crypto is being adopted here. I have no doubt that Usa would be on top of the list since we all know that the top investors and traders are Americans. Few countries are from Asia, it's a good indication that cryptocurrency is reaching most countries around the globe.
1679  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuxBets.io 💎💎💎 The New Bitcoin Hype 💎💎💎 Winners Every 15 Minutes! on: May 02, 2019, 09:00:33 PM
The prize is not fixed because the prize pool is decided by the number of tickets bought. Let's just hope this site will be able to gather a lot of players. So admins must have a good marketing strategy and promotions to attract more players. Faucet, free lottery tickets promotion, or random challenges such as free lottery tickets for player who will get ticket #random or any other promotions to attract many players.
1680  Economy / Economics / Re: China's Proposal To Ban Cryptocurrency Mining Has Little To Do With Environment on: May 02, 2019, 08:27:30 PM
Been hearing this controversy for such a long time and it's still not sure and clear that China will completely ban mining because they are still having operations at some point.
China has the biggest number of crypto users so they will always do something to pursue mining even if it's against the government.
