5441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another nice dip to feed whales or buy more on: December 26, 2016, 03:45:24 PM
i will never miss a dip ever in my life again.

a while back when price was like this, rising so high and then go down, etc. i was sold my coin on top  but was too afraid to buy back at the bottom and waited more and no surprise i missed the chance to buy back.

now i am on the market like a hawk and watch the price to buy as fast as possible and now with being less greedy i always get in good time.
5442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rally! Keep hold your coins! watch that chart 1200$ soon. on: December 26, 2016, 03:27:19 PM
stop getting excited because you will end up disappointed in case that price took a long time to reach that $1200 mark you are so excited about.

we are all waiting for it but i have seen many times people wait for a price and since it takes longer than their expectations they dump and then price goes up.
5443  Economy / Speculation / Re: $$$ BTC PEAK PRICE IN DEC 2016 on: December 24, 2016, 04:00:36 AM
Mine is it peaks at $1113 for the year 2016 and then dumps in Jan 2017.

if by dump you mean a correction where traders sell to take their profit and price coming down 5-10% after a 20% rise for example then i agree with you.

but if you have something bigger and calling that dump then i have to say what you have in mind only happens with altcoins which are pump and dump don't compare them with bitcoin!
5444  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1000+ is anytime now on: December 24, 2016, 03:50:34 AM
i still think it is too soon to start singing $1000+ price now even though price has been rising with a good rate and a good buy support but i think we are going to finish this year with $900+ range and if lucky it stays in this price range in next year and doesn't go down.
5445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: December 24, 2016, 03:43:41 AM
every day it is getting harder to get 1 whole bitcoin, i remember the day bitcoin was worth $170 and now it is a while different price level which not many even could have imagined that day.
i am glad i did buy bitcoin that day and ever since and my answer is yes Smiley
5446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Latest Price Surge Due To Delayed Halving Effect? on: December 22, 2016, 05:10:36 PM
The beginning of the price surge was slightly delayed by a few months after the 2012 halving so yes, it's very possible that the run from $600 to what we're currently at is as a result of the halving.

I do not think so. It is due to the fact that the SegWit will not be activated because many miners do not support it.

it is too soon to say if miners are going to activate SegWit or not, and certainly you can't say for sure they won't at this point.

also what you said here is actually a bad news not good, which means it should lead to price going down but price has been rising so it means you are wrong.
5447  Economy / Speculation / Re: How great you are prepared for the coming BTC increase? on: December 22, 2016, 05:02:38 PM
Due to my chart analysis and current momentum it is quite clear that BTC price is in a new epic bullrun.
I myself hold 150BTC at this moment and feeling quite comfortable with them, but want to know who of you I can be jealous of? You know how it works, you can be happy with what you have but when your neighbor has more than you you want MOAAAR

it would have been better if you have included some of your "chart analysis" in here to share it with us. so far your topic doesn't contribute to this board much.

and about your question i have to say with your announcement here good luck since IRS will soon come knocking at your door Wink
5448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: December 21, 2016, 06:27:20 PM
Any investment you choose, including Bitcoin, you have to think twice. How much you can invest and how much you can afford to lose. And no matter how sure you are in your investment it's never wise to invest all your money, that is always a risky, you can always lose and you have to be prepared to that and have plan B. If you ask me Bitcoin, fine art, gold and real estates are still the best investments so you can choose something of that or invest a part of money in everything.
If bitcoin is a guaranteed investment to earn a high profit that there is no need to rely on any other thing which will give us only a smaller profit over a longer period and no need to worry about investment in bitcoin all of our money. It is sure that there is not any lose. I have experience with it. At the time of halving I invest all of my money in bitcoin and I earn a good profit.

yes but can you assure me that you can continue earning profit in the future with 100% certainty?
the correct answer to this question is no even if you are pretty sure, you can never be 100% sure and that is why diversification comes in. you invest in multiple places and spread this risk, it can be anything that you feel like is worth investing in such as gold, silver, stocks, forex, real estate,...
5449  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will crash every 3-4 years? on: December 21, 2016, 06:11:31 PM
How can we predict regular crashes? That would mean that bitcoin system is designed and created this way intentionaly with purpose. I don't think this will happen,  chrashes or dumps are random and dependig on many factors on the Bitcoin market.
Having in mind current trends it's more likely that the pump will be created in this period, not crush.

As long as the price does not rise more than 200% a year, there will be no crash.

you can't generalize it by giving it a number as THE percentage. it all depends on why that percentage rise has happened. if it is a fake pump even a 10% rise can be considered a bubble and a fall imminent.
but if the rise is read based on some kind of mass adoption then there is no reason for even a 200% rise to go down.
5450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any cheap trading software around? on: December 17, 2016, 04:59:19 PM
there are some free bots at cryptotrader.org that runs 24/7 but you need to pay the monthly fee on their website in order to use the bot

the site you gave looks good, did you use it yourself to give some feedback?

i was only aware of this site: https://cryptrader.com
which also looks similar in name, and i was using it back in the time when Cryptsy was still open and they were offering free services too, it was similar to premium only with limited number of trades per week. and the limit was not that big either.
5451  Economy / Speculation / Re: touch down to 800$ is near on: December 17, 2016, 04:44:53 PM
I know all of us is waiting for bitcoin to get pass that super hard wall to break 800$ mark. The long wait is over bitcoin will gonna break that wall anytime this week. And before christmas it should be 850$. Believe me.

you are just guessing and your numbers are like this only because price started to show some movement again today!

otherwise $850 is a far away target which needs at least 1-2 months to be achieved, unless something big changes with bitcoin that breaks all expectations. and since that is not happening, 850 is not happening either.
5452  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is stopping miners from making empty or near empty blocks on: December 13, 2016, 02:41:16 PM
This Q has been discussed many times before...
sorry i did a quick search but i didn't find this, maybe you could point me to the topic where it was discussed so i can read about it.

Quote
They are not economically incentivized to do this. More Tx = More fees. If a pool keep creating blocks without high fee Tx, miners will abandon it and move to another pool for their own benefit.

yeah, i said this myself already about making more.

but i am thinking about some scenario that maybe a miner for some other reasons (maybe to create a bigger mempool and a bigger fee war) does this.

is there any way to stop it?
5453  Other / Beginners & Help / what is stopping miners from making empty or near empty blocks on: December 13, 2016, 02:30:04 PM
i've seen the from time to time there are some blocks that are mined by some of these miners that contain no transaction (well only one coinbase) or just a couple of them. and it understand it is normal, and they benefit more if they include transactions because of the fees.

but what is stopping a miner from setting some rules for the transactions they receive like a very high minimal fee/kb and only create empty blocks? is there any way to prevent this if some day a bad miner decided to do this for any reason?

5455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: December 11, 2016, 05:09:53 AM
I wouldn't I would be too afraid of losing everything. It is just as easy to lose everything no matter what money you have all that changes is the ratio of bets. So you can lose just as quickly but using much higher bets. It is a bad idea. Rather buy a casino.

you are right mate . even putting a higher bet will still on the same chances that you can only lose your money quickly putting a higher will just bring you high loss . but it depends only on what people want so if you are afraid to lose any amount of money you can just avoid it .

If we were reach, better for us too keep our money. You can still gambling if you want, but you have to control your money. Don't spend too much, So your money will be safe even if you lose.

rich people don't usually care about these stuff if they are a fan of gambling they surely will continue gambling and actually i think gambling is only for the rich not the poor because they always have more money to bet with and never care about losing any.
5456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I bet you have never lost more than this !!! on: December 11, 2016, 04:51:11 AM
It's really crazy that's true. But who knows... You guys remember the first BTC transaction? Pizza for 10 000 BTC. Must have been really delicious pizza! Cheesy

what does that pizza story have to do with anything here?!!!
you realize that 10,000BTC back then was the same value for a pizza in USD right? something like 20 bucks or whatever!

but this is an entirely different thing. it is 216 bitcoin which by today's price it is somewhere around 165K USD lost!
5457  Economy / Gambling / Re: MONTHLY BEST GAMBLING SITE (DECEMBER) on: December 11, 2016, 04:35:21 AM
Cant decide between crypto dice and betking, both great websites, both been around for a long time, highly recommended. A third option is coin roll, great reviews and super fun to use.

Have fun and make sure you control your dicing habits.

you don't have to only choose 1, so don't sweet it over two options you can select both of them if you like.

for me it is easy before it was primedice for me but it has been some that that i choose bitsler because i like them better.
5458  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: December 11, 2016, 04:22:05 AM
Why sell everthing that is nt good that is only e+destroying economies an it an become only chaos that is not good to do and it will never be i really cant understand that in people brains.
Why selling would destroy the economy i clearly did not understand what makes you think like that.If one books a profit how come it becomes a chaos .Buying and selling is all part and parcel of trade and that is how market functions Smiley

yes indeed, buying and selling its normal in the market and its not make chaos like RussiaIsBest said but if there are any bad news and bad situations in out there, then the economic will be chaos too and it would be panic buying and selling in the market. i think RussiaIsBest should give explain what he mean about this.

i dont see any chaos either but if there is you should take the most advantage of it the best way you can and if you can not find any opportunities in these cases it is best to stay away because the losses will be great.
5459  Economy / Speculation / Re: As bitcoins price holds steady on: December 11, 2016, 04:15:32 AM
this coming year will be another good year for bitcoin without a doubt because even if bitcoin continues the same path it is on right now, it will be good enough. but apart from that we will have segwit and lots of other projects such as megaupload 2.0 ,... which will help the rapid rise.

Shouldn't have said anything man... Now you made it crash.

haha, where have been all this time? we missed your speculations of crash back to $100 Cheesy
5460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bankers will destroy block chain tech, decentralization, bitcoin? on: December 11, 2016, 04:10:51 AM
you can not destroy the technology, you can only abuse it or in other words use that technology the wrong way to your own evil advantage. but in the end bitcoin is going to be always a different and separate thing running decentralized.
