5481  Economy / Gambling / Re: What about an advanced Dice Game on: November 17, 2016, 03:35:15 PM
I was thinking if we can choose our custom numbers in dice games and bet on them.... then it would be very good.
However when i bet on Hi / Lo game i don't feel good when a number is popping in my mind
For Example : If i think 44.xx gonna come then i want to choose between 40.xx to 50.xx all the numbers and make a 10x or around that multiplier including House edge.
If any gambling website can do this thing then i am sure it will get popularity very easily.
What you're looking for is called roulette. You can pick your own number, and get a nice image of a spinning wheel.
For dice sites, it doesn't matter. The graphics are left to the real life casinos, in dice all that matters is the chance to win. And since the chance to be drawn is the same for every number, there is no rational reason to want to pick a specific number.

I've seen this question before, for example someone wants to be able to bet on just number 37 instead of just number 0, but since the odds are the same, it's only extra work to make and use this.

i was thinking about the same game but i couldn't recall what it was called in English Cheesy

and i guess there are so many other games like this, like the one where you throw your dice (2 of them) and say the number you are going to get and if you get it you win and if not the house wins.
5482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm confused. Is that possible to trade by cryptocurrency arbitrage opportunity? on: November 17, 2016, 03:31:33 PM
Right now there is a very big arbitrage trading opportunity.

Indian markets are trading bitcoins around $870 price levels (possibly) due to their recent policies on their currency notes. Bitstamp trades ~$740 and bitfinex's ~$755. So, easy up to $130 profits possible within one to three hours of trading works given that trading one full bitcoins.

can you give me some reference for some of the Indian exchange services because apart from local bitcoins i can not find any other place and it is normal for localbitcoins to have such outrageous prices

also are these exchanges you saw accepting USD as deposit or Indian local currency only? if it is the later that is not called arbitrage opportunity.
5483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: zcash soon 0.2 btc! on: November 17, 2016, 03:26:35 PM
zcash is like a sinking ship, heck it is like Titanic Cheesy

it started out even more expensive than bitcoin and it is not even one month yet from its top price (which was a huge pump) and the price of it is already going down to the bottom of the ocean!
5484  Economy / Economics / why the sudden increase of Forex topics in this board. on: November 17, 2016, 03:22:05 PM
i have been seeing lots of forex talk lately around the forum, this is a "bitcoin" forum after all.

i mean i am all for all kinds of trading as long as they can be profitable for me and since Forex is a much bigger market and it requires a much more professional skills i'd rather stick with bitcoin and altcoin markets.

what are your thoughts on this?
5485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: SCAM EXCHANGE!!! on: November 17, 2016, 03:18:21 PM
https://live.megacrypton.com

do not trade ont his exchange..
they scammed me for 1 BTC!
i deposit 1 btc to buy 2000 LEOcoin,i buy it but they never have any..so they cant do withdrawal.
in troll box i see plenty have same problems..
now i am banned there

THIS EXCHANGE IS SCAM..PLEASE SHARE,WARM ALL SO NOBODY LOST MONEY!

FUCK 1BTC...I HOPE THEY CAN TAKE DOMAIN ASAP ,BECOUSE THEY SCAM MORE PEOPLES!

PLEASE REPORT IT TO COINMARKETCAP.COM OWNER TO TAKE THEM DOWN!

first of all you should put the name of the place you are talking about in your subject of this topic so that it is easier for others to find this topic in case they wanted to know about that particular place through searching.

also, it is your own fault because of going on an unknown site with nearly 0 volume and wanting to withdraw an altcoin! it is obvious they don't have any balance.

besides i doubt that you really bought anything because these type of exchanges never have enough in their orderbook for you to buy 1BTC worth of a tiny altcoin. they usually have like 0.002BTC size orders waiting to be filled!
5486  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today's a great day for bitcoin. I love to earn my digital gravy. on: November 17, 2016, 03:15:47 PM
this is not only limited to today or this week, the great days have been happening for a long time and those who have been thinking ahead of time are now the people you see with a big smile on their faces and those who have been doubting everything are now crying.

Obviously, the government would allow mining only for the citizens of the country

That seems to immediately raise problems, central control of a currency is not capitalism.    If they only allow certain people to mine it to exclude competition they'll have to put effort, time and money costs into suppressing people trying to make money.   Doesnt seem like a path to success to me.

Central banks all over the world have been controlling the national fiat currencies since the very inception of fiat (the term itself is telling a lot about this). And this control coexisted pretty well along with capitalism in most developed countries for many decades if not centuries. Also, why would the government allow anyone to mine the national cryptocurrency but their citizens exclusively?

For me, it is like being a public employee in Finland and demand payment in American dollars.

Government may not like citizens of other countries mining a national crypto, but is there any fool proof way to prevent it?
We are all equal in the online world.  Smiley

Why the government could / would not allow citizens of other countries mining national cryptocurrency?
It is as if the government wanted to prohibit the use of their currency outside their country. It is just impossible.

As you write - online world has its own rules

the idea of the national cryptocurrency and restricting an altcoin to one country is a wrong idea which will never happen and even if it happens a government issued altcoin is the worst kind of altcoin that anybody could hope for and because of this nobody will ever touch it not even inside the country itself.
5488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBay and Bitcoin on: November 17, 2016, 03:07:07 PM
For a long time I have been reading that it's China who controls the Bitcoins market. 60-80% of sellers on eBay are from China. So my question is why don't they accept payments in Bitcoin and why they insist on the paypal only? Shouldn't they be changing according to times? Or they can't change due to regulations?
I think they want simple payment system instead of many other ways of payment .
Secondly it may be possible that they may give option of bitcoin payment but i think they are looking to design such types of program to make clear way to make bitcoin payment .

nah, i think it is mostly because there is not enough interest in using bitcoin on ebay for trades.

because no matter how many options there are, as long as there are people on their site who are requesting bitcoin payment option they will add it because they wouldn't want to lose users.
5489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: November 17, 2016, 03:03:25 PM
i think at least 90% of bitcoin users are like me. we use bitcoin as an investment, even if we use it as a currency or for example to gamble with but we mainly use it as an investment and as we can all see the price has been good to us so far.

5491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: November 12, 2016, 06:18:14 AM
some time ago i was gambling only for profit for a while and after some time i finally came to a conclusion that it is not possible to make any profit out of gambling or at least this is what my experience with gambling told  me. so now i am rarely gambling and if i do i do it for fun.
5492  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic sellers got flushed fast on: November 12, 2016, 06:14:43 AM
You can't totally blame panic sellers, you can't always predict the market direction and nobody wants to lose out.

the blame on panic sellers only goes when there is a small change in an stable market and a little bit bigger change when there is some volatility going on. the rest of the changes which are bigger are natural movements and sometimes whales manipulating price.
5493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best coin to buy on polo now? on: November 12, 2016, 06:11:05 AM
Stratis , Lisk, Waves, All theese coins will see x2+++ within 2017. Mark my words.

i don't know Stratis but i agree with Lisk and Waves they have been showing some signs of a break out.

and right now i think there are three coins that i should watch myself ant they are LTC, ETH and XMR because i have got a feeling that they are going to get pumped real hard.
5494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VOTE: Top Cryptocurrency of the Month: NOVEMBER, 2016 on: November 12, 2016, 06:07:09 AM
i think we have to wait and see which one of these altcoins are going to be the best in the following week because it is after the long drop of all altcoins' prices and now we are at the point where all of these altcoins that went down are getting ready for the launch to the moon.
5495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legalization of Marijuana in US can BTC help sell weeds? on: November 12, 2016, 06:03:15 AM
Marijuana has a long and sorted relationship with the American legal system. At the turn of the 20th century, cannabis was one of the nation’s top elixirs and cure-alls, but over the last couple of generations, laws and regulations have made it a legal nightmare. It is treated as harshly as heroine and accounts for a large chunk of America’s 2.5 million citizens in prison.

On Tuesday, in addition to Donald Trump’s upset victory, Marijuana was legalized for use in seven out of eight states there was a voting referendum (Arizona defeated it.) This is a good start, but that is only half the battle. Can Bitcoin help with what comes next?

correct me if i am wrong but i find this question real strange!

you say weed has been legalized which means you can buy and sell it without any hassle in places where it is legal and then you ask can we do it with BTC? why would you want to do that when it is legal to do it with cash?
5496  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 12, 2016, 05:59:12 AM
Of course it matters mosf people also came to bitcoin because of its price volatility which makes it a good investments.  The other features of bitcoin is just a second reason why they become a bitcoin user.

If bitcoins price goes $1 or even hit 0, bitcoin will just vanish like other altcoins.  That is why IT MATTERS!
yeah price really matter for most of bitcoin user , as they take an advantage from it
but for a revolutionist bitcoin is more than just about only money
bitcoin could give mankind to step forward more than a political expression
bitcoin for better financial system.

Bitcoin can't change the financial system. Mainly because of the fact that it won't be granted such a chance. Knowing that, we can only hope that institutions and other organizations will incorporate the blockchain as technology. It of course won't be Bitcoin's blockchain, but if this helps the financial system forward in the way that it benefits people, then it's a great change of course.
While the financial system is extremely powerful, bitcoin is in my opinion something that took them by surprise, they did not saw it coming and they are still trying to figure out what to do with it, so even if the chance of bitcoin changing the system is very small the chance is not zero because we are still here making use of this crypto currency.

And I guess that a big threat to them who are already in the business of finance like banks, they are really unaware at its first launching days but as the day goes by. The price of bitcoin is getting it seriously for it is increasing rapidly since its launching day. For sure if they cannot stop bitcoins rapid popularity and growth, they can just simply adopt it.

they can never adopt bitcoin because bitcoin is unlike fiat decentralized and it is already spread among people around the world enough that they can not become a whale of the same size they are in fiat world that easily. they may some day offer services to make more money but nothing more.
5497  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: November 12, 2016, 05:55:36 AM
I was planning to invest in the altcoins market, but I think holding by now is a better decision. But it can also be a good idea to invest a certain percentage in other cryptocurrencies, with potential, to diversify.
i agree with you , its really good point of view that invest in altcoin market because trading is very much profitable and you can get big profit from trading and there is a lot of people are growing up their bitcoin through trading and trading is much more good and its not risky .
Just there are a few things that must be kept in mind before you think of earning with altcoins which are temperament and wise decisions suppose you invest in a coin and you see its price is going too high then don't wait for it to go down, just sell it right when you feel satisfied but at the same time patience is needed for resisting yourself from selling too quickly.

generally speaking, altcoin trading is such a hard job and even though some people think they can be successful in it because they have bought some random coin one day and made a good profit because they got lucky, it is not always going to be like that. you have to always watch the price and be prepared to dump in case of a decline.
5498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 12, 2016, 05:47:17 AM
Yes there are some poor countries where we can see unemployment on extreme level. And sure guys simply waste time with mobiles and chatting do instead they could use bitcoin. If people of those  areas try to adopt bitcoin and then try to start trade with their lowest available money then they will be able to earn some good amount of money and will be able to spend life like rich people as i am living now. And i am a middle class boy.

trading is also a job which is not easy to do. so some random guy from a poor country with no education and and no experience can not decide to start trading one day and make a living because the only thing that he is going to make is making his life miserable by losing money.
5499  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tearing my hair out , getting screwed by every BTC site. on: November 12, 2016, 05:44:13 AM
i have also had some bad experiences like that, and that is why i always read all about the service that i am about to use from their site the TOS and also the feedbacks i can get from the internet.

better safe than sorry.
5500  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: November 12, 2016, 05:40:21 AM
Bitcoin will not be used by everyone in 2022 since most people of third world nations dont even know how to operate a computer. Most of them even dont have a bank account. But Bitcoin will be widely used by people all over the world by 2022.

Likewise, we could not predict the future in 2022 if all people
will use bitcoin. As we notice bitcoin is increasing its demand
yearly. I dont know yet if people can easily adopt the use of
bitcoin. I guess so and hoping that every people in every country
can easily adopts the use of bitcoin. However, we could not
tell in 2022 that everyone will use bitcoin.

we all hope that and people from all countries all over the words are in fact using bitcoin these days but the numbers are not impressive at all. we need a lot more adoption by people so that it can open up room for merchants to start accepting bitcoin too and then from that time forward we can see real big rises.
