5501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin prices rise in 2016? I think this is the cause. on: November 12, 2016, 05:36:12 AM
Brexit - for bitcoin it was totally overhyped event, which caused bitcoin's price spike for couple days.
The truth is - unless we will have political event which will directly impact Bitcoin status/law/future it is not even worth mentioning.
Same as US Presidential Election which caused slight turbulence on stock markets - still not enough to bring real changes for BTC.

that is also what i think.
these two events (brexit and election) are mostly overhyped and since the hype was not global it could only affect bitcoin price a little but an event like halving which was also overhyped and global pushed price to $780 and its real effect is now being seen.
5502  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: November 12, 2016, 05:32:20 AM
Although, almost people of all age group are getting attracted to and even adopting this innovative and awesome currency called bitcoin but still I would say that the people aged between 20 - 40 are much more involved in bitcoin
People Who have big interest in technology are easier to find thing like bitcoin.bitcoin is really innovative and awesom, I am agree with that. Teenegers are really easy to get information now by using their smartphone. I think the range of the age can be larger, may be 15 -40 . Teenegers are smarter now so they will understand about bitcoin more than adult people. That is my oppinion.

the bitcoin users are usually younger people but i don't think there is much people in the range of 30 to 40 because the older you get the more real world usage you want out of things and bitcoin can not really satisfy that so it becomes harder to use bitcoin and pay for your family at the same time.
5503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin 0.003 BTC by year's end (mega crash, LTC has 3 months left!) on: November 11, 2016, 05:49:43 AM
litecoin is only pumps and dumps and this time around the pumps seems to be not happening anymore and the price has been falling so hard and it can even possibly continue falling for some more time since bitcoin price is at a good place and rising no one is investing in litecoin for now.
5504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: November 11, 2016, 05:39:20 AM
I am earning and collecting bitcoin to bet on sports in future. Will it be a good choice to invest in it betting or other things.Where should i invest my bitcoin to have a long term profit?

newbie or not, it is not a good idea to waste your money on gambling specially if you are earning little amount of money and if money is tight for you, you have to try to save up instead of taking risks that you can't handle. and gambling is considered a big risk.
5505  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: November 11, 2016, 05:35:10 AM
It is better to make sire amount of small amount then maybe an amount that is large. The risk must be smaller then the rewards then you will make a good profit. The larger the gap between the rewards then the better it is for the investor as losses can be made up in the long run. Bit investing will take patient and you must learn.

How will you calculate risks are higher than rewards? Because if risks are less than you, rewards also will go down not up. For example in the fixed deposit, you will earn less % from reputed banks and your deposits are more secured. I don't think you will get any investment in the opposite way like what you mentioned.

investing in a bank is 100% secure so if they pay the smallest amount of profit it is still worth doing it because there absolutely no risk of doing so.

There is still a systemic risk of the government massively devaluing their national currency either gradually like what the Chinese Central bank has been doing for the last couple of years or instantly like the Russian government did in 1998. Almost all governments of developing nations are occasionally doing that to balance their trade accounts. If you happen to live in one of such countries, you should always remember about that risk, which is quite real.

very interesting point but i have got the feeling that the chances of that happening may not be as high so that we can have any reason to worry about anything about this.

although i would always diversify as much as i can.
5506  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm dumping my bitcoins so you should on: November 11, 2016, 05:29:48 AM
Dumping is not good and I think if you are dumping you bitcoins right now you are just stupid because the price is not super good and because of that fact it would be not worth selling it right now.

topics like these are only made for trolling purposes and also spreading some FUD about bitcoin.

although it is interesting for historical purposes to see topics like these after a long time has passed and see how wrong they were about what they were saying because bitcoin has been rising non-stop eversince this topic was created.
5507  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin's price rise above $1000 because Trump was elected president? on: November 11, 2016, 05:20:05 AM
this is such a big speculation and a loose one at that if you ask me.

because it was just an election and that is not changing much about bitcoin as a currency that is being used all over the world not just by the Americans.
5508  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 11, 2016, 05:16:24 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
I think Make an investment in bitcoin is good too, we Do not need big amount of money to get bitcoin, the Price is always rise. gold is the best one, gold Is really worth since very ling time ago, But I think we better to invest it to in legitimate site.  Keep our money in circle it will give good economy condition.

investment with bitcoin or any businesses related to bitcoin would be a good idea and of course we need to make sure that the investment that we are planning to deal with is legitimate we don't have to invest to a lot of websites , buy bitcoin and then hold it and make it as a long term investment also investment with ICO is a good example .

you can do all of these and make more money than ever it is called diversification. you invest your money in bitcoin and in gold and in other stuff that you may find profitable and then you can also invest bitcoin itself too in order to make even more bitcoin to have more profit.
5509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skills vs Luck *poll* on: November 11, 2016, 05:12:55 AM
When trading What Matters More Skills or Luck?
We need them both somehow in trading it depends if theres an investor or sponsor you will make some pumling in coin you'll gonna do is to wait till that coin will pump and wait for the profit.
I needs skills more than luck, I cannot master my luck but my skills for sure I can develop it. We are all entitled for our own luck as we are created by God, so focus on developing our skills and we can do that by educating ourselves in trading. There's information everywhere, we just need to find it out.
It is very true for finding out the right time and the right levels for trading, we just need skill.
With developing required skills, we will get all the chances to be shining with our trading. With your skill you will get chances to make profits 99% still maybe if you do have luck favored you, would have avoided the remaining 1% too.
You can learn your skills as you are the one who manage yourself. That's important in trading for your to be successful, do not just rely on your luck as that is the job of the lazy people, you can see that they will not succeed in the long run for sure.

you must never rely on your luck but that doesn't mean you don't need luck to be successful. this may sound a bit strange but i believe that you need luck in all your life and in everything that you do. trading is only one the many things.
5510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Petition: Request Litecoin developers & Founder to give up on LTC on: November 11, 2016, 05:09:12 AM
For whatever reason they don't post a lot on bitcointalk but a lot of the community is here. Make more of a presence here. Like it or not most of the community is on here daily. While all the other newest latest greatest coins try new functions and keep failing, litecoin just keeps chugging along. Like bitcoin its tried and true. It also has one of the fairest launches of ANY coin.

it may be because they have a dedicated forum for litecoin! if i am not mistaken it is called litecointalk.org and in my experience these coins that have their own place tend to stick to their own place and only be active there.
5511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: November 11, 2016, 05:05:20 AM
The whole idea that porn sites will accept bitcoin is has sense as I think. Why not? It would be very useful. But on the internet there are many free porn sites, I even never meet some site where you need to pay for porn. If only paying to girls who undressing on the camera or doing something like that Tongue

we all agree on this. everyone who is using bitcoin knows that it is a pretty good option for payment online especially on a porn site that is a lot better to stay a bit more anonymous and keep your privacy but it doesn't seem like they are going to do it on themselves.
5512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2016, 05:01:09 AM
if trump starts seeing bitcoin as a good technology and allows a more easier regulations for bitcoin and recognizes it as a real currency that would be so helpful for bitcoin and price will go very high.
5513  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do we cross the 1000 USD barrier? on: November 09, 2016, 04:27:57 AM
The train is leaving the station. Even though it is a bumpy track, we are accelerating!

The big question is: when to cross the magic 1000 USD barrier?

My guess: 3rd of December 2016

with bitcoin you can never be certain about these things, it is all a vague speculation of the future that may or may not even come true. but based on the past and the way price has been rising i think the closest bet would be mid 2017 for $1000 price.
5514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: November 09, 2016, 04:22:01 AM
this obsession with China and them controlling bitcoin is the stupidest thing that exists in the bitcoin world and we have seen time and again that this is just a hype to spread some news they want like if they want price pumped they say China is buying and if they want a dump they say China government is banning bitcoin. both time it is bullshit.
5515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Investment on: November 09, 2016, 04:18:08 AM
Hello,

Is it a good way to invest in ethereum right now? I wanted to buy 100 Ethereum 2 months ago but i decided to wait untill the price dropped. Now the price dropped due to hard fork problems.

Should i wait longer or should i buy now?

this now is good time to buy ethereum
because ethereum price is now low 0.0151 bitcoin every one ethereum
buy and hold, but you buy 2 month later in high price
you can use methode averaging or martiangle can get take profit

i agree with this.
ethereum had gone down pretty good and i think it is a bit lower than the price you said and it makes it a very good time to buy it because if history is right, there will be a pump very soon.
5516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Investment on: November 09, 2016, 04:14:20 AM
most altcoins are the same in trading and their pump and dumps but some of them are better than others.

right now i believe that Ethereum is due for a new huge pump to the moon because it has been a while since it went up.
5517  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 09, 2016, 04:10:41 AM
i think bitcoin is much more good than gold because gold is much more stable and bitcoin increasing its price too much faster so buy bitcoin in big amount is very much good and profitable than gold .

Do not forget that buying Bitcoin is actually risky at any given time, so I wouldn't advise to buy big amounts. Personally I think that Bitcoin is a better investment than gold so buying reasonable amounts is a good thing, but one shouldn't ruin the whole thing for them by borrowing money and buying big amounts of BTC awaiting for a big profit in no time. Be careful guys, Bitcoin is a good thing but you should use it responsibly.

It depends on how you are trusting bitcoin and how can you take a risk. I saw some people who are buying bulks of bitcoin even the price is still high just like today but only lower back weeks ago. And it is going to be a great profit if you will take a big risk and when the price increases, you will increase your profit too but chances of falling is also there.

I agree to go with bitcoin than on gold for it's level of price status. Bitcoin's price increases and we make more profit from it progressively if we just take risks in investing. Compared bitcoin, gold's price is else fixed but we can also make profit from it. It's just that, for my own opinion, we can make more and fast profit in bitcoin investment than in gold. Instead I prefer to have gold as an ornament and to be a symbol of wealth.

I agree mate. If you want to have a long term investment you can let sit and wait of your gold and you can also use it in the future if you need money but if you want to have a fast profit then you need to invest in bitcoin which I think is better than gold.

But I feel one should invest in both gold as well as in bitcoins because no one knows what happens in future, so it is always good to diversify your money. As you mentioned bitcoins will give quick profit but similarly, you may lose very fast your money if some bad news comes out about bitcoins because its prices move up and down very fast. I have invested in both of them.
Should? That is some kind of compulsory but in reality it's hard to invest in gold when you do not have the right amount of capital. With bitcoin we can invest even with BTC0.01 so it's so affordable for us. One can only invest both if he has all the resources to do it.

All the things that exist in the bitcoin and gold it also depend on the interest that you want to use by each individual. so if we can't do something right then there will be something good or profitable. so gold and also is very favorable, bitcoin. but depending on who they are using it. Investment is a very good thing, but if we are wrong to invest then it would be a bad thing

That's why there are some people who are wise and seeing that investing to both of them are good way to have a self supporting income that is able to help them survive for each day of their lives. But for those not really unlucky, but doesn't have enough money for a big capital to invest both, simply chooses only one and that is good with bitcoin.

it doesn't really matter what you choose to invest in as long as you don't know what you are doing, you will surely end up losing your money.

you have to have experience when it comes to investment and know when to buy something and when to sell it to get the profit.
5518  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: November 09, 2016, 04:07:07 AM
if you want an steady income then get a steady job and then stick to it and try to improve your rank in that job to increase your salary too.

then after you did that you can think about other jobs, which can be small jobs and second jobs which you do as a secondary income.
5519  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the best investment holding your Bitcoin? on: November 09, 2016, 04:03:30 AM
this has proven to be true, and bitcoin has so far been the best investment for me because i have been holding it for about a year, a year and a half and price has been going up ever since making me richer and richer with every rise Smiley
5520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wallet in bank? on: November 09, 2016, 04:00:05 AM
Do you think that one day you could open Bitcoin wallet in your bank, along with your.ordinary bank account? And will banks have their own wallets? Or maybe they already have? There are some rumors that some banks are preparing themselfes to addopt the Bitcoin and give it to their clients as a new service?
good idea , may be is bitcoin bank can help to further promote and develop what is bitcoin

What you are telling is to some extend good for new users who wanted legal status of bitcoin to use it . but for some users who dont want to get revealed about their identity and transaction they wont accept this idea as bitcoin itself is a bank and you can do online buying and selling goods

bitcoin is not that anonymous that you can hide your identity by using it. it is psedo anonymous actually.
and besides using a bank is violating more than your privacy and identity, it is making you beg for your money from them.
