While creating this topic, bitcoin is standing at 618 USD. So I want to know your prediction for the year of 2017. What is the milestone you have targeted?
Will it be able to hold its strength at 750 USD by the end of 2017? Voice your opinions.
i believe that bitcoin price will be at least $700 this year. it is only a $60 rise now after all! but in general since the price has been growing strongly and the buy support is also strong and available i say bitcoin will continue this path and in 2017 we will see a lot of good things for it. |

it doesn't matter how long it took for the big rise in the past and it really doesn't matter what the price was in the last time a rise this big happened.
today is a new day and it can not be compared with the past since a lot of things has changed since that last time of big bitcoin rally.

Primarily I generate my coins when I buy them for fiat.
Then there is my signature campaign, that gives me a little bit extra.
I did some trading, that that earning option is on hold at the moment for me.
And then I have started to do some advertisements, but that is not going well at the moment. Maybe it will with time.
Im just earning thru my signature campaign as I am not comfortable with trading because of lacking knowledge about that. I will try to invest some btc to any good securities available here in Bitcointalk. At first trading is really difficult are loosing money but that could earn you experience on what to do and what you shouldnt do. Keep learning about trading dude you can earn a lot from it dont give up. Use your earnings in signature campaigns and invest it in trading. Correct, trading is a good way to earn bitcoin and earn decent profits but as we all know trading isnt simple as it sounds and you would really need knowledge on it to prevent loss of your investment. Correct, using your signature campaigns earnings would be a great first move. if you are good at trading then it becomes one of the best ways of making bitcoin. but if you are not good at it or just starting to learn it, then trading can be a pain in the ass to earn anything from since it is really hard. |

Of course! Yea, and no taxes  Bitwage is good opinion, insurance and everything what needs  i doubt that you can receive your salary in bitcoin and pay no taxes and even if by any chance that was possible it wouldn't last long because government would either ban it or take taxes from that. |

Ethereum is now working better on its way and I think in the future the investors of ethereum will increase and more traders will do trade with ethereum so we can say that the price of ethereum will increase in the coming future.
But after experiencing the past crash of ethereum it is very hard for me to once again take part in this altcoin. I have invested in a number of altcoins but in this altcoin I am investing only a minimum amount. yeah, me too. the crashes are always hard and big. and we are seeing another crash although the speed of it right now is very slow. the only reason for these crashes are the pumps and the bubbles that take form with ethereum. and right now i am waiting for the crash because of bubble burst + another hard fork. |

Bitcoin's only competition is by currencies trying to imitate the same thing it offers therefore I too consider it without any serious competition or something taking the same concept but starting in a different way. ETH and MONERO are good ideas but not something so new that it can take BTC's place.
Ethereum will beat bitcoin, just wait for it Blockchain is beautiful, in the future we will see a lot of new good projects, maybe better than bitcoin. yeah, in your dreams it will. i have seen so many other altcoins with the same dream/wish to beat bitcoin and even get close to it over the years. now look at the list of alive altcoins. do you see any of them. no but bitcoin is still here and growing. ether is just a temporary passing thing. you can never grow when you are centralized even if you keep the price up |

The problem with Gold, as real as it is, is that most people would rather carry around slips of paper that represent gold promises, than the actual gold itself. There's also significant risk in securing/hiding it if you amase any reasonsable amount.
Indeed its pretty hard and the fact is also that you need to hold it pretty long so I think you can than better hold the bitcoin to be honest. there is really no need to go for only one choice, you can still do both and be satisfied with your investment. gold is good because of its popularly and stability but you should not forget that bitcoin is a growing thing that is becoming more and more popular each day. |

I would like to invest 0.45 BTC in ETH but i don't know if it is the best investment.
I want a good investment for 1-2 years.
for 1-2 years you should only keep it in bitcoin. because altcoins are not good for long term. also don't think eth is a good investment especially these days. the price is so high in a bubble and it will come down soon because there are attacks and talk of a fork. another good altcoin is litecoin which you should always think about. |

with the way bitcoin is rising up and the way it is being adopted this may not even be that far away. well maybe you can never trade a house with 1 bitcoin but you will certainly be able to trade it with a couple of bitcoins maybe even less than 10 bitcoin.

i have found that the best way of having bitcoin is only buying it with fiat. but if you want toe earn it not buy it. the best way i have also found that works best for anybody is only trading with bitcoin.

it seems like we are on our way to reach $700 by the end of this month.
and i have to say i am glad to see bitcoin is rising this way, rather than rising suddenly and out of nowhere with a huge pump to the moon. because if it was pumped the price would have dropped fast.

how we could motivate women to use Bitcoin because I tried several times to explain what it is and how to use Bitcoin ...was very difficult and have not really managed only once ..
actually it is reality that if we explain about the bitcoin to another person whether he is men or women , it is very hard . i take about 2 months to explain about this to my brother . thr best stretgy to explain is practically explanation with Bitcoin , then you will be able to explain them in better manner.. i have found out that the way you explain bitcoin to others is also important because you have to understand bitcoin yourself in the first place and then you have to know what to tell them and what not to. for example you don't have to explain everything about mining. |

I think bitcoin would be the same and would maintain it's popularity without altcoins and wouldn't have that much of an impact, The opposite is almost impossible IMO at least how we see it right now since altcoins is still priced mostly just for BTC.
I don't think so because without altcoins bitcoinwill jot have this popularity, and start from the forum where most of the activity is focused. some people seem to forget that bitcoin was first created and when it reached a success level alone all these many many different altcoins started to show up out of nowhere. so even if they disappear bitcoin will still remain and stay string. |

Gambling became wrong if you abuse yourself and attach so much on gambling but as long as you control yourself from being addicted to it ,its not wrong . Many sees gambling is wrong because first thing comes to their mind is losing money and addicting on gambling.
The big question there is how will you control your self? and when is enough to stop... If you are not ready to lose and your money has other purpose in your life and yet you use it to gamble, then definitely you are doing it wrong... Gambling should only be done if you are rich and don't need money, stating a reason "for fun" in gambling I think is illogical... Yes i will ,i can by setting a limit to myself . Accepting the fact that many people rich or poor are into gambling ,why ? Is only rich can have some fun with it ? Most of the poor also gambles there's no restriction if you are rich or poor as long as you can handle your situation we are all equal in this world in some things . Off course, everyone know his limit in gambling, like me and you know about that which amount we should use in gambling and if we lose than what the result will come. And also poor and rich people don't matter in gambling, i see most of the poor people are playing gambling instead of rich people. knowing the limits is not always enough you have to try and stick to your limits and try not to go over them. otherwise we all are aware of gambling, the risks and our limits and our own pocket but we sometimes get hyped up and go over it. |

I can not find that Apple store will recognise any altcoin now, you can check link here http://www.apple.com/shop/help/payments. But of course crypto will be implemented in online shops, like Monero, Litecoin, ETH.  lol, that is true. this is the first thing that came to my mind too, but it is because of what OP is saying in his post, it is misleading us. it is not about crypto payment directly to Apple though! they don't even accept bitcoin. |

no it is not. bitcoin is 100 times better than gold. you can easily buy, hold, and also spend bitcoin with any amount that you want but you can never do the same with gold. |
