1061  Economy / Speculation / Re: The BEST time to buy bitcoin is not there yet,but coming soon, don't miss it ! on: February 08, 2019, 01:36:47 PM
the best time to be able to buy bitcoin is now because the current price is very cheap and it is still very safe to be able to buy as much bitcoin as you can, so you should be able to take advantage of the moment to buy bitcoin, before you are late to buy.
you are correct mate but unfortunately bitcoin still making a small dump which is another opportunity for us to get discount . So much better to wait for more results in fact market still not fine nowadays.  So lets keep monitoring the prices to get the most cheaper price.

You can't expect to be able to buy at exactly the bottom dude. No one knows if the price will still drop hard or if it will start to move up. For me, an entry close to the 3k level is already a decent buy. Even if it goes down more, 3k will easily be broken when btc starts to recover.
1062  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Effect of A Massive HODL Campaign on: February 08, 2019, 01:33:37 PM
If all of us refused to sell bitcoin will definitely be stagnated and at the end no need for it as we would all sell after the 30 days and pushed the price down. Bitcoin should be allowed to recover by itself as it has been doing.
well, ico follows prices and bitcoin price movements, but bitcoin will never be able to rise alone, bitcoin must need support such as buying a lot of bitcoin so that bitcoin can recover.

It seems that that's what's actually happening right now. Those that are hodling bitcoin are still hodling and have no plans of selling. As you said, market would be stagnant unless a panic attack is started or the whales decide that it's time to buy in bulks. It's likely a wait and see situation for most of us.
1063  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a new BIG BTC buy signal??? on: February 08, 2019, 01:30:28 PM
Interesting news, but I don't think it's true. It is unlikely that someone declassified detailed information. Especially the Russian government. And how should this help against sanctions? It's just a rumor.
well, we might be able to see the effect of the truth if this is true. well, however, now we only need to wait for good news in crypto, but until now there has been no news that is able to lift the price of bitcoin. if I want to buy bitcoin I think this is the moment.

Well we're not expecting any real good news anytime soon though. People are looking foreward to an etf result but i doubt even an approval would genuinely propel us upwards. I'm quite relaxed into buying right now since we may stay in this kind of market for a longer time regardless of what news or signal may come.
1064  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much Bitcoin to accumulate now to be financially set after the next boom? on: February 08, 2019, 09:12:20 AM
Who can tell how far that next boom will take us? Or when it will happen? For are we  know, a boom could simply get us to the 5k to 7k levels and who knows how much the correction to that boom will be. I'm looking way further than the next boom, probably around 2 to 3 years where hopefully having 5 to 10 full btcs would allow me to set up a pretty big non-crypto business.
1065  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2019 BITCOIN Price? on: February 08, 2019, 09:07:39 AM
I think that in December 2019, Bitcoin will either still be within the range of 3000-5000, or if a breakthrough occurs during the second half of 2019, its price may be above $ 10,000 by December. But, personally, I tend to the second option. I think the second option is more realistic.

As much as I wanted to see the price hits $10K again, I doubt that it can happen till the end of this year. We don't have catalyst at this point that will push it to that levels.

Heck, I won't be surprise to see the price just the same up to the end of 2019. I'm a permabull but we need to be realistic and used logic here, and we don't need to put high expectations like in 2018 so that we won't be disappointed, just saying.

Yeah i have the same sentiment here. I wouldn't say that 10k by end of the year is more realistic than staying in the current price range. For me, at best we could probably be in the 8k region by the end of the year but that's already stretching it a little bit. And i also am not complaining if we stay stagnant through the whole year. Probably best to get used to that scenario.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if designer handbags were 80% off? Your gf would... on: February 06, 2019, 01:33:19 PM
Trust me your gf would raid your wallet, bleed your bank account, and fill her wardrobe with LV, Chanel, etc

Bitcoin and alts are 80% off right now, why aren't you doing the same?!

Lol. I don't even think there should be a comparison there. First, not all women are crazy for handbags and fewer would likely be interested in crypto. You're lucky if your girlfriend is like that since you'll have someone to share your disappointment or regret lol. Or someone who'll share your excitement when things move positively.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I told my banker about bitcoin on: February 06, 2019, 01:29:42 PM
My boss is a banker and he's a trader too though he's doing it secretly because he might get fire if the bank finds out.

That will be okay if he decides to get involved in the cryptocurrency by secretly. He doesn't have to tells other people about crypto, and it's better he collects as much money as he can from cryptocurrency, and when the crypto can become more popular, then that is his time to tells to his friends about cryptocurrency. I am sure that there are people that do what your bankers did while they are working on the government and afraid to get fired from his jobs.

Regular bank employees i'm sure wouldn't mind dealing in crypto. It's even likely that they understand more about it than most new investors. Though yeah i don't think banks would allow anything crypto related onsite.
1068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $1.7 billion in Bitcoin stolen on: February 05, 2019, 03:30:48 PM
I think that many cryptousers forget to think about security. As for me, all my wallets are under strong protecture. Also I have coldwallets, it's impossible to hack them. THink about your security before hackers will steal your money.
well, I always see this on an exchanger who was hit by a hacker attack. the munkgin, not the same, but it's similar. I think there are some exhanger who also lose millions of dollars in their assets. maybe their defense is good enough, but hackers are growing fast. it might make us realize that upgrading security systems at all times.

Mostly it's people's carelessness that allows hackers to steal their coins.  Exchanges are prone to such and whether we like it or not, sometimes good hackers can breach their security. That's why it's up to the users to safeguard their coins. 1.7 billion won't be the final digit for stolen and hacked coins, that's for sure.
1069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS BITCOIN ATM PROFITABLE BUSINESS ? on: February 05, 2019, 03:16:53 PM
Due to the high demand of the people to bitcoin, the bitcoin atm is now a trend because users can easily buy bitcoin through bitcoin atm. There are now also businesses in my community that accepting bitcoin and that's why there are now bitcoin atm in my community.

Well depending on where you're located that is. If people in the area are mostly aware and are crypto literate, then i guess the cost of setting up a btc atm would at least be worth it.  Generally though, it's not going to be as profitable as we would like especially with the state of the market and crypto at the moment.
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM's are popping up on: February 05, 2019, 02:23:45 PM
In Russia, bitcoin ATM are also installed. They began to appear in many countries. This is a good step in the development of crypto, but so far few people will use them, I believe. But to know that the world has a positive attitude to crypto is very cool.

Yeah i've seen posts in social media of people who are actually using bitcoin atms and it's really promising. Though of course this would work in places where people and governments are open to crypto. But it's nice to think that someday in the future we'd see btc atms lining up streets like regular atms.
1071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The price of Bitcoin is going down because the price is going down, on: February 05, 2019, 02:15:44 PM
Nothing goes up in life, dollar value, salary, income, food price, smart phone price, everything going down. The doomsday is near.
That's not totally accurate. Inflation keeps going up so that prices of goods are always increasing every year. And actually you mention dollar value but that has also increased over the past year as well.
What about bitcoin, the prices keep increasing every year right. Wink

Bitcoin can kill inflation that is why we need decentralization to be implemented everywhere but still people are concerning about the prices compared to USD.

Yup bitcoin keeps increasing every year, that is until 2017. Obviously last year and this year isn't living up to that trend. I think it's now time to look at the bigger picture and stop making expectations from a short term standpoint.
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kid should start earning bitcoin as young as kindlegarden on: February 05, 2019, 02:09:34 PM
Lol. That's funny. Kindergarten kids shouldn't be earning anything yet. Adults are not having an easy time earning bitcoin for themselves so how do you expect kids that young to grasp even the general concept of making money. Nope! Not a good nor a logical idea 😛
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: February 04, 2019, 04:28:14 PM
Have you been able to resist the addiction and not let gambling consume you?

Have you been able to control the urge to place that bet, spin that wheel or roll
that dice? For you to be able to go a length of time away from the adrenaline.

Would be interested to hear how people can control this.

To be honest, there are times that I can't control myself and I put large amount of bets in a gambling website. There are times that I won but my lose are more than my winnings which is sad for me. If you got addicted already, it is hard for you to stop gambling so when you are starting in gambling, you must know how to stop so that you prevent yourself from getting addicted into it.
Is just our mind who controlled our decisions as well as our doings. We mentally affected if we are so aggressive to win, even the hard times we still gamble and losing everything we have in the end. And  that's a big challenge for gamblers, we just put in our mind and would to know our limitations cause gambling is just losing our money than of winning.

Well some people can easily turn away when they get to that point that they have to do so. Some can't. I guess gambling just isn't for those that can easily get swayed by their emotions. I've experienced several times having the urge to stay on a table both because of a winning streak and to catch up on my losses. Just be clear on where gambling stands in your priorities. Thankfully it doesn't rank high in mine.
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: February 04, 2019, 04:22:22 PM
I’ve won dozens & dozens of bets in the 10-15 years I’ve been gambling. I don’t keep a record but I have to admit I probably am at massive losses if I added it all up - Wins vs Losses.

Gambling is just a hobby to me though, I play with amounts I can afford to lose.
I don't know if I really won or loss of all the gambling games I played if I will put my games together all and my wins and losses I don't know how much I win and loss, but the most important is, I know that when at the point of being addicted to gambling, I've learned to stop and move on, on all of my losses.

Well we win a lot in gambling and also lose a lot in gambling. So if you do not track that how much you invested in gambling , how much you won and how much amount you lose, it will become almost impossible to determine whether you Won or lose at the end of the day.
If you are serious in money management in gambling, you need to note down all your investments and your loses/ Win and then plan accordingly.

I am sure there will be very few gamblers who manage money like that. Maybe professionals will do it but not with most people. In gambling, many people use their feelings to react to things they meet. And if I can predict, the end result of most gamblers, in the long run, will definitely disappoint. As many people have said, it is better not to use gambling as a means to find the source of life.

Well i guess winning is kind of subjective when it comes to gambling. Some people enjoy it while also knowing when to stop. For me these are the people who really wins. Sometimes it's not just about the money you'll take home but the good feeling it gives you as you play along. So even if you end up losing, as long as they amount is something you can afford to lose, then you're on the positive end.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understand addiction! on: February 04, 2019, 04:05:55 PM
The fact that people were able to overcome addiction means that it can be overcome. Perhaps different approach for different kinds of people depending on their upbringing and environment. The important thing is that they have to want to overcome it. It all starts from the person who's addicted.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 04, 2019, 04:02:45 PM
It's now getting clearer...Lebron is not going to the playoffsssssssss! Wahahaha

Lol. It's not yet half of the season yet and you already know what LeBron's fate is. Anyways, it's your prediction but I see it the other way since LeBron will always find ways to get to the playoffs and even in the finals.

Well you have to give it to the guy. He'll probably go to the playoff with whatever team he's on. The lakers will be there alright, but i'm not so sure how far in the playoffs they be able to push forward. Finals is out of the question though. The warriors are in for a dynasty.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] Ethereum = Scam on: February 04, 2019, 03:55:48 PM
Do not agree with the author of the topic. Perhaps his trust should talk about it. ETH is developing very quickly. This team has their own product that they are improving. ETH is a platform for all altcoins. Therefore, I do not agree with your point of view and i consider it absurd.
This topic was created in 2014, the thing we can learn from this is that coins that were once considered a scam, now ethereum has
proven that ethereum can be a potential coin, even the ethereum platform is the biggest today and almost all projects use it

Yeah and through the years since '14, i think ether has proven it's legitimacy. Just sad that a lot of bogus projects and icos in the past used it's platform for their coins and that took a toll in eth's standing last year. Nevertheless, it's still in the top 3 and with it's large following, it's a coin worth investing at.
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC should be for big whales on: February 04, 2019, 03:53:07 PM
I think KYC is required for every aspect (Investors, Developers and also Bounty Hunters). If you didn't feel confidence with KYC then you should invest on "Real-Life" Investment  Grin Wink

Lol. Real life invesents would require kyc more than crypto investments. Having big whales undergo kyc should in a way, regulate pump and dump manipulations by these people.
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it ok to lock your bounty for 4 months on: February 04, 2019, 03:50:25 PM
Yes I received many tokens that were locked for months....it's not a problem for me.. this is a very bad period for ICO so I'm happy if I receive tokens even if they are locked.. Grin

Well devs probably think this may be a solution for tokens dumping right after thet get to an exchange but token holders would eventually sell them anyway after the lock period. Personally i wouldn't mind staying with them for 4 months or longer especially if they seem to be good projects. I've done so already in the past with icos like waves.
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid Dump after listing on: February 04, 2019, 03:45:44 PM
At the time of the listing after the end of ICO, the price often dumps. Why does it happen?
I think the reason is there is no buyer because of no demand for tokens since the ecosystem is not completed after the ICO.
It may be difficult because lack of funds, but I think the team should release a product like Dapps while running ICO to make token demand.
How do you think about it?

For this one only developer can do that, mostly they will lock the payment and release it when market up. We can't avoid that and that's why many people invest into project and get bonuses for recover. I don't have any solutions but as long market good dump is fine, not like this moment.

Right and devs should already be aware of that possibility since most aren't really after the use of the project but only the profit they'll get. I guess they have to make it seem that the project will have a stable use in the future though goodluck to any developer who's going to attempt that.
