1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run on January, February or March? Your Predictions please...... on: February 01, 2019, 12:34:23 PM
We are now at the end of January, and we don't see any sign of the bull run. Maybe we need to wait again what will happen in the next months. But I am sure the bull run will come, I don't worry about that, and I could still hold my coins until the price can recover. I think maybe the bull run will happen in the middle of February or March, but it depends on how the market movements from now on. And if the market can move fast and there are many new investors comes to the market, then I am sure soon the price will increase.

Nah. I won't bet on any bull runs this first quarter dude. Hopefully it comes but all signs are pointing to a lazy, stagnant first quarter. If ever there will be a bull run i guess that'll come at the second half of 2019. That's just me being realistic.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency market dropped on: February 01, 2019, 12:32:11 PM
and now the volume is only 119 billion, of the 400 billion you say at least it shows a very high decline of around 75%.
but when viewed from the price of bitcoin and all the altcoins I think that volume makes sense.
So, I think it is the time to invest wisely and technically to avoid losses. And also it is the time yo invest for long time investors as almost all currency is on their bottom price.

what is clear at this time is that while the price is still low, it is indeed time for investors with new capital to invest immediately, because the market is also waiting for it to be able to bounce back prices and on the other side there are still many investors who are stuck at high prices from at current prices.

Well if you're an investor, you won't just jump into the market just because the prices are dipping. Of course such a movement will still make investors wary and in doubt if they can profit from it. I guess it's important that if you do get in now, be prepared to go long. Less profit in aggressive day trades right now.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it good to invest in ETH? on: February 01, 2019, 12:29:50 PM
In my opinion it is good time to invest in ethereum now. When it goes up your right time to invest now will be gone. I wanna say take time for yourself to decide now and not tomorrow for good earnings of profit.
basically investing with any crypto currency buys at a low price and sells at a high price so that it gets an advantage in investing, investment with ETH will be good if we have the confidence and patience in that investment ETH is the best altcoin in my opinion

Price now is just hovering above 100usd with the most recent low around 85usd. If you think about it, just like bitcoin, it doesn't have a lot of room to go down. So if you buy at this current price, it doesn't matter if it dips more because 100usd or 80usd or 50usd, when ethereum jumps to above 500 you're still in profit.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is pumping! on: February 01, 2019, 12:27:14 PM
ETH  in the future it will continue to increase ,  ETH  capable of delivering as promised  , and it is continue to pump little by little in the future .
I believe eth will pump for the future , but seen from the current condition there is no good movement for eth prices , so in my opinion eth will pump when market conditions rise

Ether has been in this region for  year now and don't expect any pumps soon. Actually i think eth's recovery will come in a slow pace not the price pumping. It's going to recover alright, but only those that really believed in it would reap the rewards since it's not going to come over night.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The dump has started for 2019 on: February 01, 2019, 08:40:13 AM
In the current situation, it's better to keep holding coins and not throw coins. In 2019 this certainly has very big hopes. We see that in 2018 the market price is high and low. And now we hope that in 2019 the price of coins will be from low to high.
coin or token are all choices of each person. we know that right now bitcoin itself is also experiencing a lot of price reductions and of course we must be able to be selective in choosing coins that are really good for us to invest

Dump movements are same as pump movements this january. They barely move aggressively. I guess we'll see a very lazy, boring market movement for likely most of the 1st quarter. Accumulate if you want. There's not much room to drop anymore anyways.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you guess a bull run in this year? on: February 01, 2019, 08:37:39 AM
I'm very optimistic last year that we will have a bull run specially it was most predicted by most experts in crypto but unfortunately it did not happen as desired so i think it would be better that we should not think and expect about it as it will just make as disappointed again if it will not going to happen by this year.
Everyone has that optimism but all of us failed for what we had expected.

For this year, well new year, new hope and I'm not losing my optimism and hope for this years good run. Hoping to see a sign of bull run.

Well it's not bad to hope for something better, just don't expect a lot. Basing from the movement this january, the market is really sluggish and i'm pretty sure no bull runs will happen this 1st quarter, probably even the 1st half of 2019. Let's hope for the best anyways.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dead coins... on: February 01, 2019, 08:35:44 AM
This is because the impact of the price increase is very significant in 2017. So the market price in 2018 collapses. And the impact for all Altcoin also collapsed. And even every coin cannot get funds for development. So many of these coins die because of the absence of investors.
You maybe right but these coin are not dead, let's just say it's resting right now and once the market will show it's bullish again
I'm sure these coins that are sleeping will once again come alive. Perhaps it's like us investors, when we feel it's not good to sell, we hold.

Timing is necessary, so we have to do it with timing so in the end we will reap what we expected.

Well you've got the scam and bogus projects leading to 2018 to blame for that. With so many of these icos ending up as bs coins, it dragged the ico industry down with it, with investors learning their lessons last year. I doubt if many of those dead coins will have a second lease on life.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The number one cryptocurrency on: February 01, 2019, 08:30:26 AM
Among the coins listed, probably ether and ripple have the closest support community to btc. Though i'm not saying it's close at all but comparing the other alts, these two would likely be battling for the number 2 spot. Of course btc will be the top coin for a long time.
1109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have faith in your trading? on: January 31, 2019, 04:21:34 PM
That's the first thing you should have before enter the market, don't argue that's reality. I don't know how people without faith with their strategy, analyze and enter the market with blank calculation. Have faith is good but minimize risk is also needed to recover your faith.

If you've placed research and study in your strategy then you should have faith in what you're doing. Kinda pointless if you're just throwing trades randomly then hoping for a miracle right?  Might as well play dice with your coins if you're not going to put effort into it.
1110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your funds secured? on: January 31, 2019, 04:19:00 PM
Im quite new to crypto so i wanted to know what exchanges do you use and i'd be grateful for advises on security. I currently keep my crypto on localbitcoins but it recently got hacked to im concerned for my money. I want to move it somewhere safe but still be able to make trades without much fuss. Im still learning to trade but im pretty serious about it. Can you recommend me a good exchange that hasn't been hacked yet?

Stick to bigger exchanges if you want to keep your coins there for continuous trading. Most big exchange like binance offer tighter security like smaller or new exchange sites. But the safest and most advisable would be to get yourself at least your own wallet for now. Don't keep your coins in exchanges. If in case things went good and you have a budget for it, secure your funds through a hard wallet.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is growing at nonstop rates in my country on: January 31, 2019, 04:13:35 PM
It's gaining popularity in all of the country. Here in my location, I have recently found 3 websites which are orienter from my country within last 2 months. It's not about your country only. Some people around the world are getting addicted to gambling and some people are easily taking the chances to make money.
I think if the gamblers are thinking to make money through gambling, it would become the worst mistake they will commit in their life, gambling is never an easy way to make money as there is no one in this world who could predict the outcome of any games in the casino, so it is basically illogical for gamblers to have the impression that they will always be able to win money in the casino everyday.

its not a worst mistake as long as they know what they are doing . some gamblers are succesful and already becoming pro because they have self control aside from being knowledgeable   .  also , almost all country have a growing gambling rates because every people are known to be familliar and addicted with it . the only difference is that they are now evolving  . before traditional casino's are trendy but now people are slowly shifting to online versions as they are more accesible  .

People gamble about pretty much everything nowadays and with the availability of online gambling, it's not surprising that it's a booming industry, not just in your country im sure, but all around the world. And it's only going to get bigger from here with different options being available for different kinds of gamblers.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: January 31, 2019, 04:10:26 PM
It would be reasonable to suspect the casino if theives robbing the winners was common thing. Could be that the thief was trailing the Korean man from the casino.
I thought Casinos pay large wins directly into winners account?

Yes, these much big Winning amount should be transferred directly into the winner's bank account or cross cheque should be given which should be cashed only the him. Also i guess that in this particular case, it seems that someone from the casino actually knew this and he might be the one who follow the winner and stole his earnings.

It's usually an inside job. That's one of the dangers of winning a big amount in an actual casino especially if you're there by yourself. The casino itself may also be suspected here though i'm sure they'd never admit such.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On what kind of gambling you got maximum reward from betting? on: January 31, 2019, 04:07:13 PM
Most of the time I got maximum profit from betting on football matches. It is easier for me to predict although I lose sometimes. By the way, I don't gamble a huge amount. I only prefer to bet lower amount so that I don't have to cry later.

This makes so much sense that you bet in something you are aware about and help you to make money too . Also this way you win something and also gamble with less money so that you are in limit eve if you lose some money .

Exactly. And games that doesn't solely rely on luck. That's why i think the most common answer you can get here is sports betting or poker. Games that put more importance in knowledge and experience rather than plain luck.
1114  Economy / Economics / Re: When the tide goes out on: January 31, 2019, 04:00:22 PM
I will only buy crypto with the top 10 ranking in coinmarketcap, if I trade on the cryptocurrency market, I think maybe it could be a good quality crypto indicator when there is a bear market and ready to get green candles
That's safe, top 10 crypto in the market are all good coins, they are here because they are profitable.
With the current market value now, price is still profitable when compared to the starting price, so it's safe as it might bounce back soon.
Those top 10 in market are really worth it to buy.  We should not buy cryptocurrencies that have poor capitalization because for sure it doesn't have good support from the community.

Who can say? Coins come and go in the top 10 unless those that are firmly planted there like btc, eth and ripple. Just a month or two ago tron wasn't in the top 10 so you still can't be so sure. Unless of course you have the luxury of buying and keeping them for a long period of time, then that would be profitable.
1115  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: January 31, 2019, 02:01:41 PM
2030?

That's like donkey's years from now and we all seemed to have forgotten one thing we don't control - LIFE.

Life first before we ask for years we can't give. What does it matter if you have the year but you aren't in good health? It's a waste. We should be saying, "By God's grace", if am alive till then I will do this and that, hypothetically. For me, I should be retired then and reaping the dividends of my hard work now.

Gosh! Of course, we do not know what can happen to us...even tomorrow. How can I know what I will do in 2030? If the life awards me, I will be resting on my villa and watching the ocean.
You will be rewarded mate just keep on holding and don’t change for strategy try to buy more more because this is great job to buy at dump and hold until it recover I am sure 2019 will brings New life as an investor. 2030 is long time period if we buy right now and hold until 2030 your amount will be multiplied with 10.

Lol relax dude. No one's expecting to be dead in the next 10 years so it's not that bad to have plans for 2030. Hopefully be then we're all open to the use of crypto and holding for that would've paid huge dividends for us.
1116  Economy / Economics / Re: thinking of selling or investing more. on: January 31, 2019, 01:56:57 PM
As soon as I feel it is the right time to buy the market takes a major hit.
Its almost in my best interest now, I think, to wait for a major crash in the price.
I am not hoping this will happen but based on what others are claiming, we have not seen the lowest price just yet.

I also believe that this time is now the best time to buy again. The price correction is now over and it seems that market is now recovering. There are now data that can be proof and be a basis about the right time to purchase bitcoin again. There are many opportunities that are waiting for us and we should grab it.

While it makes a sense to invest many people just don't use this opportunity due to some psychological aspects. They just do not want to invest in something that is constantly decreasing in price.
people thinking investing in bearish trend was best opportunity for them.meanwhile in their eyes, there willl dangerous thing will come.if price continuesly moved down , i am sure they regret with their decision.

What's dangerous about the current price? It's already at 3k and even if it slides downwards furher, buying at 3k and at 1k is both profitable when it hits another all time high.
1117  Economy / Economics / Re: The harmful affect of a continuous downward movement of the Bitcoin price. on: January 31, 2019, 01:53:55 PM
Price go up and down, and I have not seen any market that do not undergo a complete market cycle, it is just that in the life of Cryptocurrencies this cycle seems to be short and fast as compared to traditional market because it is much more bigger than Crypto. I personally don't have any fear, the only concern I have is not having much more money to buy more BTC, there would be a time that to hold one BTC will be a huge success for the holder

Same as you, I also do not have any fear when the price is falling though I am disappointed when the price is low may money is also decreasing. Well, for me the harmful effect of downward movement of Bitcoin price is the way of thinking of the users, the more it will fall more people are talking about its dead and its not useful to the crypto world because upward and downward is normal cycle of bitcoin.

Well yeah, it's mainly about the new investors being afraid to get in the market. Especially seeing how far down we've come. But that can't be helped. You either see things on a positive light or you avoid getting into it. I see it as a good entry sign especially when it's going consistently downward.
1118  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people ditch cash for cryptocurrency? Japan is about to find out on: January 31, 2019, 01:43:11 PM
snip-
Like some said its difficult to imagine japan having a scarcity of payment processing. They're known for being ranked high in terms of average internet speed and traditionally invested heavily in telecom infrastructure, the backbone upon which things like electronic payment are built.
Looks like interesting mate, while reading this thread it feels excites me more than enough that I would love to go to JAPAN and meet these executives. Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group is group of people who do their things exactly what their vision speaks. But as I can see in the thread that they will only use the blockchain technology but not the cryptocurrency itself. I hope that the project will still continue and develop after the Olympics.

Well the japanese people have been known to not be afraid to accept changes and innovation. It's not going to be surprising if ever they're the first country to run mainly on crypto. They understand blockchain and how crypto works with it so i don't think they'll ditch crypto and utilize only the  technology.
1119  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: January 31, 2019, 01:38:23 PM
According to what I have observed, there are only few stores who are ready to accept cryptocurrencies. Most of the merchants are afraid to adopt it because of the volatility of the bitcoin. It takes more years for them to be ready in accepting cryptocurrencies.
Not only Bitcoin. This is the drawback of the whole cryptocurrency environment. Although once the price of cryptos will be more or less stable, small businesses an importers can benefit from it. Especially as speaking of the tourist-oriented sector.

Well some are also looking a little more into the future. I know a lot of small businesses accepting btc and eth regardless of their current shitty price. Itks accumulation time and they're likely to save these coins for the future.
1120  Economy / Economics / Re: Is government the most influential factor that affects Bitcoin price? on: January 31, 2019, 01:29:37 PM
Yes. Government does affects bitcoin price but at the moment I cannot see that governments has something to do with the current bitcoin price. There are countries that their government don't care that much but still doesn't help bitcoin price to rise.
Well when it comes to influence, i doubt if any other institution can match the government. A ban or a statement of support can easily sway investors' confidence. If all government collectively ban cryptocurrencies i doubt if it can survive a crackdown. Same way if it adopts crypto and openly support it, we're likely to see prices go off the roof.
