1241  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why BTC to Under 1K$ soon on: January 21, 2019, 01:50:34 PM
I never expected the price of bitcoin to fall to the price of $ 1k, I am an investor and I always wish the best for bitcoin. when the bitcoin price drops to $ 1k, many investors lose money and investor interest will decline.
but there are investors who want the price of bitcoin to go down to get bitcoin at a low price, they want to buy a lot of bitcoin at low prices before the bull takes place.

There you go. If you're an investor, you'd see things in different ways. Long term investors i'm sure wouldn't mind seeing bitcoin drop to the 1k levels. It means more bitcoins to accumulate for them for future profit.
1242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Future BTC's price on: January 21, 2019, 01:46:59 PM
Because of some fatal flaw. If you believe that Bitcoin will succeed 100% you might get deeply disappointed. Million things can go wrong. If succeed of Bitcoin would be sure thing then everyone would just loan money and buy as much as they can. But in reality doing that could be just a suicide.

Fatal flaw? I think it's safe to say that the more time goes by, the less risk of a 'fatal flaw' there is, especially with how the developers are pretty damn good in what they do.

The risk is decreasing with time, but the risk is also non-zero and is pretty significant. The entire design is experimental and the protocol is a mere decade old. We're still finding really serious bugs in the reference implementation as of a few months ago. There's a reason Core is still in beta.

I have a lot of faith in Bitcoin and its developers, but people are right to be skeptical.

Of course they have the right to. It their money anyways. And we all know there's not a hundred percent chance of success yet many of still believe because we're all aware of the risk that we take. I mean, if you expected success to be certain then it's your fault if you get rekt.
1243  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Mysterious instant drop? on: January 21, 2019, 01:36:30 PM
snip

What caused this? How can the price be so volatile? Who is behind the market for real?
The fall is not mysterious at all the market just dumped very hard probably because a whale decided to create that dump, the same happened to ethereum, in just 30 minutes the price crashed in a similar way, this is not rare in this market and if you want to hold your coins or to be a trader you will need to get used to it but if you cannot then it could be better to look for other markets with lower volatility.

And it happens all the time. An instant drop is even more often than a good pump lol. It's no mystery and long time traders know all too well that there's nothing special about sudden dumps or pumps.
1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will market price be BULLISH this 2019? on: January 21, 2019, 01:34:13 PM
In one word the market is "unpredictable" even the big analyst are maintaining silence these days is pretty shocking, only few expects reveal there is bright for Bitcoin. Hopefully this year will be full of joy and happiness for the crypto users.

Lol. Joy and happiness seldom happens for a sustained time. You have to be a good trader to be able to maximize certain market movements to make profit in this kind of trend. Personally i don't want to expect any bulls to make a move anytime soon.
1245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: January 21, 2019, 01:31:20 PM
Bought araound $80 and it's currently $3600 so yes I'm an idiot Tongue
But true that selling at $19k would have been better...
Then again having a cold wallet is the safest place for very long term instead of trusting exchanges like MtGOX and BTCe Smiley

Well everyone who's heard of mt.gox should find it necessary to have cold wallets if they're planning on long term. And however said hodlers are for idiots are probably just trolling or have lost a lot of money holding the wrong coin at the wrong time. If you ask me, it's the safest method of dealing in this market.
1246  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market looks boring 2019 on: January 21, 2019, 01:28:15 PM
market looks boring this year? I don't think so we are just in the first quarter let's just wait, the market will pump anytime without good news coming.
We are still at the beginning of the year and januariy isn't over yet. why do we interpret that this year will be a boring year?
we don't know what will happen yet. we don't know what will come this year? maybe regulation, who know? it may make bitcoin price pump, isnt it?

Lol. I'd rather have a boring 2019 that see another wild year that's mostly moving downwards 😛 2018 isn't boring. It's anxiety inducing lol. As slow steady movement even just to 8k at the end of the year is enough for me.
1247  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is rocking are we nearing to the bull run? on: January 21, 2019, 01:25:46 PM
Some really good signs...

Daily volume 5.7B. Divide by coin price(4038) to see bags changing hands, 1.41M coins in 24hrs.

Daily volume on Dec17, 2017 peak: 14.9B. Price 20078. 742k coins changing hands.

Volume is TWICE what it was during insane megahype peek when you measure the number of bags changing hands.

To say we are stagnant isnt correct. Even if price is stagnant, this volume is very exciting. Even with wash trading, it means a lot of bags are changing hands.
Speculators are more interested in getting fast profits than on getting huge profits by holding their coins for a long time, that is the only way I can make sense of the statistics you are presenting, speculators do not care at all about the prospects of bitcoin for the future, what they care about are the profits they can get out of the market and nothing more.

Well not all investors think that way but yeah a lot, especially new ones, are more interested in quick profits which at the moment, seldom happens especially with btc. It was exciting a few days back but a few days later, we're back just hovering around the 3.5k area. Movement's not really very exciting if you ask me.
1248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions if Bitcoin ETFs are approved on: January 17, 2019, 01:36:32 PM
There are several groups trying to create cryptocurrency ETFs.What will happen to the value of bitcoin if Bitcoin ETFs are approved ?
For sure cryptocurrency will get a good market for all its clients or consumers. Bitcoin that has reached its peak market price which is the 19K USD recorded on last 2017, it will be multiplied couple of times depending on the demand for that time if Bitcoin ETF's will be approved. Many user's will become glorious in this if it will going to happen.

I really find it strange that people are still talking about ETFs after all this while. You think the so-called Wall Street bulls are waiting for ETFs so they can change their ways of investing? Of course not,,, there are more than 150 countries outside USA willing and ready to take money for Bitcoin. OTC deals are so common now,,, if Wall Street does not know about this, that would be a shock.

Exactly. They put money in with or withiout etf. People have been badly beaten by the bears that they pin hopes on pretty much anything that sounds positive. Don't raise your hopes that much on this etf approval guys. Heartbreaks would hurt more.
1249  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2019 the Bullrun year? ( many aspects ) on: January 17, 2019, 01:33:43 PM
to be honest, at the moment I am quite hesitant about bull in 2019, I say this because I see the market power is getting weaker. in my opinion our only hope for seeing a bull is an approved ETF.

for 10 years bitcoin rose millions of percentage without ETF or any other type of government issued crap like it and for many years more we will continue seeing bitcoin rise without them. right now things are exactly like 2014 when price hit $200 and stayed there with people getting disappointed and hopeless about the rises. the next leg up will be swift and big because of that.

Hopefully. Back then btc wasn't as well known as this and isn't getting attacks from media and some governments. Now people have more reasons to doubt whether it's a good investment with the 2018 decline adding to their consideration.
1250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we wait for a big drop in BTC? on: January 17, 2019, 01:29:34 PM
Some crypto experts thinks that this year, bitcoin is still in accumulation phase so there is still a possibility of another significant drop in the price of the leading cryptochrrency. Other analysts believe that bitcoin is already near its bottom and it may it hit durjng this first quarter of the year.
I myself think that now we are approaching the bottom or already on the bottom. but it can also fall again if bad news arrives.
but if bad news doesn't come. but a positive issue that come then buy it. that could be your chance to buy

Everything's up for anyone to spculate about. I think we'll stay quite some time in this price range so it's ok to wait a little more for your preferred buy zone. With this kind of market movement, it's likely that there will be lower dips.
1251  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to BUY BITCOIN at the "right" price on: January 17, 2019, 01:26:35 PM
buy now at the current price and believe you buy bitcoin at the right price
Of course if you think this is the right buy price for bitcoin then purchase them. Other's might say to wait for the bottom but there's no way we can gauge what the bottom will be. We are close to it so for me it doesn't makes any difference at all. You buy and then be flexible. If the price goes down then buy more, simply as that.

I guess at this point there's not much room where we can go down further. Even if the price drops to the 2k zone, i'm pretty confident that 3.5k will not be the ceiling for btc price this year. So just be comfortable when you buy. The bear market is a good time to shop.
1252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptopia Hacked. Will BTC Crash? on: January 17, 2019, 01:22:53 PM
Cryptopia Hacked. Will BTC Crash?
I think they eat people money and than they say their Exchange hacked.

I am hearing about this for first time and I have some coins with them! I think there are ligitmate and may there are really suffering from hackers attacks. Because of volume of coins with them I think this is going to really affect the market.
previously cryptopia did experience several problems. but come back to live again. if they can recover all customer losses (if any).
then it will not adversely affect the market. lets see what news will come.

Didn't seem to move the market that much though. Yeah cryptopia is quite a big exchange and one of the first as well since it's one of the exchanges i've practiced trading on around 4 yeats ago, and i think they have contingencies for issues like this.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 16, 2019, 04:20:42 PM
You know Golden State will win it when they made that 51 first quarter points.
They are all in good condition. Klay Thomson got the hot hands adding up 4 dunks in a game. Curry making those impossible shots and Durant contribution.

It will not be easy to tie the game if they are in that condition.
Congratulations to them for making the 5 consecutive winning streak.

That 10 three's in the first quarter was lit. Just goes to show how overpowered this team is when curry, klay and kd caught fire all at the same time. What's even more scary is the fact that boogie is set to return so these guys would likely have more room to roast other teams from beyond the arc.
1254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does it mean to buy on the Dip? on: January 16, 2019, 04:16:49 PM
Some of those didn't know on what happen they are that, don't buy because it is falling  or dumping but the right to do when the value was falling and dumping you should buy and hold after that sell when the value was on high for you to earn a bitcoin. This is the best strategy don't listen to those negative thinker and to those always panicking.
Yes.Buying on the dips means buy those potential coins with their affordable prices.Based on the current market condition, this strategy is more applicable because the market price right now is definitely low and it is more favorable for us to start buying great coins and just hold them for long term until we see good timing to sell them when the price has made a good increase or when a bull run suddenly occurs.

Well it's not as simple as that also since the "dip" You bought in can still go deeper. Important thing is to have a plan. Buying the dip is taking advantage of crypto's volatility instead of falling victim to it.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin actually died ? Yes, more than 320 times already on: January 16, 2019, 03:34:03 PM
Even they say that bitcoin got dead, lot of investors and traders always revive bitcoin and still continuing investing from it lot of people still buying and never missed their chance to pump again.
One thing is for sure, if bitcoin hits the bottom it will not last on that level for at least one day because many investors will be more happy to buy bitcoin on that level. We died yet we are still kicking right now and as we move forward, the price will become more expensive.
after the price falls prices will definitely bounce, because there are many users who buy it because it's the right time to buy. of course bitcoin isn't dead yet, we are still free to use it. death is only speculation made, to drop bitcoin price. so don't be affected by such speculation dude

Well the temptation of an extremely cheap buy would be too much for investors so yeah you're all right that that's one factor that'll keep bitcoin alive. And time will probably come when people will see beyond just bitcoin's monetary value. There's still a long way to go with so much still yet to happen.
1256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Revolution or a new start? on: January 16, 2019, 03:28:51 PM
When have many company want to working with bitcoin will be positive news and make bitcoin price will growing up, we hope not only company at United State want to work with bitcoin, but around country do the same thing,
maybe what you say is the hope for all investors who invest in crypto currencies, in my opinion the most important thing right now is not the price or the value that has decreased but the legality problem of the country with crypto currency
Well there are a lot of factors that can affect the trajectory of the price and it being accepted largely by governments would be a big boost. Currently we have stagnant news so the value just sways with natural volatility. Nothing major and would likely be so for the next few weeks.
1257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The market is recovering or just adjusting to the price . news on: January 16, 2019, 03:19:49 PM
It is hard to say whether the market is recovering or this is just a bull trap at this moment. We have to watch the market further to see whether the direction changed. Meanwhile, stay safe trading.
it is difficult to say that market prices have risen. and especially with uncertain prices that have fluctuated which can go up and down quickly. and cannot be ascertained.

Lol. Risen where? The only rise we've had for this year is up to 4.1k which didn't take long to drop back to 3.5k. I don't see any recoveries happening yet at least for the rest of january. Still i'd want to be positive for this year.
1258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a new BIG BTC buy signal??? on: January 16, 2019, 02:03:27 PM
I think we can all pit basis on the present price of the bitcoin today. If we are going to analyzed the price we can surely say that we are now in a very big advantage of buying. If we buy more today and hold we can maybe make a huge amount of profit during the price rise. But the only obstacles here is that we don't really know when will be the exact time of the rising of the crypto coin.

Lol. People who were saying they should have bought btc years ago probably have forgotten their sentiments 🤣 when the price spirals down, most of them forget about buying low and focuses on whining how it's the end for btc.
1259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are any of you paid your salary in crypto? What's it like? on: January 16, 2019, 01:56:58 PM
How do your employers buy it?
Have there been scenarios where after they purchased the agreed amount the value increased/decreased substantially before you were paid? If so, how did they react to this?
No I’m not but this is what we’ve been waiting for since i did encourage some of my co employees to invest in crypto so they have idea on hows this going some department heads are being introduced by us to study and take a good looks if this can be possible..we would love to receive cryptocurrency than fiat and as what the last meetings agreed that the studies will continue until it was approved or not.so were looking forward

I can imagine if your regular job pays in crypto though. People probably would be very aware of market movements and would be cashing out with the smallest pumps. People have different financial circumstances so probably that wouldn't work for a big company.
1260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can ETF Decision make a negative impact? on: January 16, 2019, 01:40:08 PM
Yes, in my opinion the ETF is very influential to the progress of Bitcoin prices, so when the ETF is rejected again, it is likely that prices will decline again, because for now traders are waiting for the SEC's decision to be approved, so that the Bitcoin price will rise.
Maybe yes or maybe no, as we knew that bitcoin was been denied several times and still the movements still the same, fluctuations and manipulations will still be there, whatever directions bagholders wants this industry to go, same thing will still happen unless new investors will join and make the difference and start making the bull to run back after the ETF.

The effects would probably be minimal whether it's an approval or denial. Many don't even think bitcoin needs an etf approval aside from a short repreive from all the bad news we've had.
