701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Related Crimes Surge on: March 17, 2019, 04:21:16 PM
All depends on who uses it, Bitcoin can be very useful when used in accordance with its function. And because it is anonymous, Bitcoin can be misused by criminals to commit a crime, for example it is used as a means to fund their crime. In this case Bitcoin cannot be blamed.

Bitcoin is a thing, things cant act on their own and needs human intervention for them to moved or to be used. So Bitcoin is not the one to be blame over crime surges. Even fiats are being used in crimes.

Well bitcoin is money. And one day perhaps it can possibly replace real money. We all know money can drive people to do crazy things so it's not a surprise if bitcoin can attract criminals to it also.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could BTC ever be manipulated like Wall Street is? on: March 17, 2019, 04:09:08 PM
It is already being manipulated by whales, media FUDs, where there is market there is manipulation.

Well i kinda agree with you there since it's not a question of "could it be manipulated" anymore. Manipulation is happening and we're at times at the mercy of the whims of big players. You just have to learn how to ride these manipulations and make profits when these whales do.
703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicting Bitcoin Price on: March 17, 2019, 04:06:22 PM
Don't bother yourself looking for good news and constantly waiting for the bullrun to happen everytime btc has a little upward movement, you can still trade in this market and make a good profit by just following the trend and not falling for news that come out of some news website that make money by creating fuds and etc.
News affect for the bitcoin price because once they have news like bad news people start panic and the result of that is decreasing.
You need to follow the movement of the market and for sure you will still earn money even we are in the bear market. Once they have news make sure that is true and don't trust easily.

Well it's probably better to trade with alts at this point rather than btc, better profits from alt movements. And i agree that it's pointless to try and predict the price. It's always been futile to accurately pinpoint where bitcoin will go. We can only make plans that will be flexible for whatever movement it is that btc makes.
704  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any real way to earn bitcoin without investment? on: March 17, 2019, 03:58:58 PM
Yes there is a lot of way to earn bitcoin without spending any amount.  In my 3 years here in the world of cryptocurrency  i didnt spend any amount  to earn bitcoin its pure bounty hunting.

Well if you don't want to spend any amount you have to work for it. Bounties and campaigns recently have been scarce and a bit challenging but hey, at least you don't shell out any money. Be diligent enough and you can probably earn enough for a decent capital to start trading.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trader Brutally Tortured on: March 17, 2019, 03:38:44 PM
When people stop telling everyone about how much money they have?
Stop doing it.
Same about crypto. It is easy to steal if the scammer has a private key address actually. People are greedy. And they are ready to do a lot for a couple of BTC. Take care, please. And do not tell strangers about your funds. Money loves silence.

Right. I don't get it either. Probably share it with a few well trusted friends and family members who you're 100 sure won't betray you for money. It' sad that this has to happen to someone within the crypto community but we all have to practice caution everytime.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp Are Down - But Bitcoin is as strong as ever !!! on: March 17, 2019, 03:32:13 PM
Facebook, instagram or any other social media platform being down has nothing to do with bitcoin and it's prices.
Besides social mediums are not coins in the cryptocurrency world

From what I heard they were testing some new algos that are supposed to implement acta rules. They are trying to block free speech, content sharing, and the spread of information. Acta is internet censorship and it will lead to most youtube content creators disappearing for good. Only decentralized platforms will survive.

Whatever. That still doesn't have anything to do with cryptocurrencies at all. And i don't think we can assume that bitcoin is as strong as ever lol. It's been quite shaky the past year for btc and though we probably held on and is now becoming more steady, we're still far from being considered as that strong yet.
707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet statement again on: March 17, 2019, 03:18:36 PM
Warren Buffet is a long term investment and doesn't care about dips.  Every investments has dips, nothing will just constantly keep rising.  He has a never really been an investor in technology companies because he says he doesn't really understand them.  This is why he passed on Amazon and Google.  Only recently has he invested in Apple but that is because he sees it more as a retail business.

Crypto is also a long term just like how Buffet chooses his stock on along term horizon. People who want quick money here buys at high and then when market falls consider it as a bubble or like will reach 1k etc. They do not understand that even the top billionaire does invest in market when it is available at cheap prices.

Forget about warren Buffet  or any other leader of the crypto world. If you have trust in crypto, then you should always hold the crypto. The best thing is to buy when the prices are cheap. You will get to see many views that crypto is dead when the prices are low. Just ignore such voices and buy more crypto when it is cheap.

Well first, warren buffet isn't any leader of any cryto faction. He doesn't trust bitcoin and pretty much anything associated with it for now. The guy's an old school investor that made a lot of money so in a way he knows what he's doing. He probably just isn't comfortable with crypto that's why he keeps in making negative statements about it.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox founder Mark Karpeles Sentenced to Over Two Years. Is This a Joke? on: March 16, 2019, 04:36:47 PM

Common if Karpeles would be cached on a hacking his own exchange then he has to be the dumbest person in the world.
Such a person would not run one of the first and biggest crypto exchanges in the world in the first place.

Well, people should know that sometimes the first product is at the same time rough simply because its team and the entire community still don't know what dangers they and the entire industry will face.

Anyway, how long he should stay in prison? The entire life? Or maybe he should get a death sentance.

Well it should be more than 2 years that's for sure given the magnitude of the "theft". Though i don't think it warrants a lifetime sentence since most of the investors' bitcoins will be paid back. Probably somewhere between 10 to 15 years would suffice.
709  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bulls Looking to Make $4000 and Beyond the Bitcoin Norm on: March 16, 2019, 04:24:40 PM
Its really hard to bitcoin to start a bull run right now since the price seems to get stuck under 4000$ but it's a good thing that we see some increase in price in the last weeks and it's not going down below 3800$. All we need now is a little push from the whales in the market or some big event to happen that is going to push the price to break 4000$ resistance and go in the bull run that everyone is expecting.

Nah. Even if we do break 4k, that doesn't necessarily mean a bull run is going to happen. We may be stuck again somewhere around that line for a longer time, who knows. I think let's just take it one step at a time. After we break and get a little steady beyond 4k, that's the time we think of what can happen beyond.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Winklevoss brothers suggests more regulations for cryptos on: March 16, 2019, 03:29:48 PM
The brothers Winklevoss is certainly clever people, but if they were even smarter you would sell your bitcoins when you had gzip in 2017 and puresecurity today on bottoms. And so lost 80% of the profits from what they had in December 2017. And to sit in bitcoin for 10 years and do nothing is boring.

Well i'm pretty sure that not all their assets are in crypto so they can afford to keep their btcs for probably that long. And they may very well have sold during that time in december. And i agree with them as well with the regulations. For an investor outside the crypto community, it adds to getting a more secure feeling if you're assured that it's in a way regulated.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think a "winning mindset" can get you what you want while gambling? on: March 14, 2019, 04:29:46 PM
I have met various personalities and few of them guided me on how to win in gambling. Those guys told me that "If you have got a winning mindset with no negativity in your mind, you are about to start a journey where you will see higher chances of winning over losing."

Is it like meditation where you must focus on your goal and make yourself prepared for the game before starting to play it? I had good experiences till now while following this strategy. It doesn't mean I never lose but chances of winning are really high.

Well i think whether you focus or not, dice results would have nothing to do with whatever your rituals are. It's as random as it'll be. Though it may have an effect on how you react to situations and have a more controlled decision making if you're feeling positive all the time. Let's face it, frustration sometimes dull your logic.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: accurate sport prediction on: March 14, 2019, 04:26:24 PM
Hi guys, pls can anybody send me a website or  football tip star that give accurate football tips that as high success of winning rate or if you know of s reliable site or tip star that give fixed football matches kindly pm thanks

Find a site which has a football player playing by himself. Im sure he will win. Theres no thing as an accurate betting tips with high success in gambling. Gambling is gambling and luck is what its made of. Dont gamble if you need a sure profit. Try investing or have a savings in a bank. Sure they have 100% interest on your money.
I strongly agree with you that luck is a major factor in determining success in gambling. No one can ensure predictions correctly, everything can run so fast and beyond predictions. gambling is a thing that cannot be ascertained, do not let us get addicted because it will only make us get stressed. play comfortably and we will get a comfort and calmness. Think of the gambling game as a pleasure and an entertainment. It will make ourselves get something extraordinary in our lives. For someone who can apply the gambling game appropriately in his life, that person will always be in happiness.

Dude just look up articles from football enthusiasts and you pretty much get a high percentage pick of what outcomes will be. That's the good thing with sportbets since knowing a lot about the certain sport gives you a very big advantage. Sometimes you'd even have to pay if you're going with professional tipsters. Look up sport sites and follow sport writers.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Psychological Technique - Play without Pressure on: March 14, 2019, 04:21:05 PM
if you want to play without pressure, you have to bet with small numbers, the smallest. if you bet with big numbers, then you will be under pressure for fear of losing and losing a lot of money. be a smart gambler, even if it's a little, what matters is winning.
Pressure is not just on betting big, there’s also a pressure on a small bet especially if you are losing money. The point here is that, to play with fun and no expectation so no matter how much is your capital you know to yourself that you are ready to lose that money so no pressure at all.

Well it depends on how big your capital is lol. Like in poker, stack bullys can play with a lot more ease that other players. Betting with a big amount can be troubling for someone who doesn't have a large capital. Bigwigs don't experience any of these dilemmas.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 14, 2019, 04:18:43 PM

.....but as for now lets just enjoy watching the playoffs.

We will have a good playoffs this season, lots of good teams and no Lebron.
The east is good to predict than the west since they don't have a team that are dominating yet unlike in the past when Lebon was still with Cavaliers.
Though Giannis is playing well but we cannot conclude he will dominate the East, we have Leonard and Embid also who are making an impact to their team.

Bucks is a good team but i think they will find a hard time during playoffs. They lack of experience in these series in my opinions.
I would possibly bet that Raptors will be the winners of East and eventually the championship will be won again by a team from the West side.

Well the moment lebron left for the lakers, the east  just became a little bit more interesting. And it seems bron isn't coping well in his nee conference lol. The bucks seem to me are like the rockets of the east where their inexperience will be a big factor deep in the playoffs. Also, jeremy lin is beginning to show signs of blending well with the raptors especially with lowry. I'm looking at toronto and boston here for my east picks.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confidence in Cryptocurrency on: March 14, 2019, 04:10:25 PM
I have tried to ask myself this question many times: What can be done to restore and foster investors' confidence in cryptocurrency?
There have been several incidences, most especially as regards the issues of hack of exchanges and several other forms of stolen funds, which has in turn cause down trend at some points in the crypto space.
These incidences have made a lot of people to be at their wit ends, not knowing what to do.

If I should ask everyone what can be done to foster confidence, we will all have different things to say. Nonetheless, suggestions are welcome, but before that, I just feel that regulation is part of the main language that can restore.
Aside that, if exchanges have not started the process of insuring the funds on users on their platform, it will be good they start that.

Regulation will probably be the biggest factor for a great influx of investors. Confidence right now is pretty fickle, especially with how many people lost money during the 2018 correction so investors are going to look for reasons on why they'll take the risk. Having your government back up definitely boosts that. There has to be compromise for crypto and governments for this to work.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can you do to keep your digital assets safe? on: March 14, 2019, 04:07:02 PM
Our digital assets is so be secure that's why I am hiding all my password to anyone. This means that we should be alert or be informative when making decision. You should hide all information that you can only the person can see.
But in terms of phishing and other type of scamming that have been done by other people online? what can you do about it?
Well, that's actually difficult to predict if some websites are legit or planning to take your money. But somehow you can recognize it by some actions they take. Showing their eagerness to deposit your money and they will take it. I know a friend being scammed in a gambling site. He was supposed to play poker but then the website he dived in I think is not legit. He played there but when he got his winnings, he couldn't withdraw it. And since then, he don't try to play in any site for gambling instead, he is taking information first if it is legit.

Exactly. Be very wary about giving out any information even if it seems a site is legitimate. Phishing can be countered by always thinking critically. And i think it's already a given to take care of your passwords and private keys and to have a hard wallet for maximum security.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is getting green and is improving? on: March 14, 2019, 04:04:09 PM
no one can be sure of the price movements that occur in the market, from what I observe on the market, prices tend to have a green chart for a while and then the graph returns red, maybe this is a periodic recovery from the market, the market still can't continue green
That is right for sure. The market is unpredictable and this is the reason why people do not normally recommend invest in cryptocurrency. But the risk arbitrage and the speculation has made man make a lover of profit that comes after the risk so yeah taking a risk for money after that is worth taking. The cryptocurrency might boom and the signs are greener than ever.

Well so far i like how the market is moving. Pretty steady at a certain level, around 3.6 to 4k i'd say. I think if ever we still would get a drop in price, it wouldn't be as hurtful as the previous ones. And getting in ir buying at the current point is still going to be profitable if you can hold until the end of the year or next year. One thing to understand is that crypto is aleady here to stay so regardless of how it fluctuates at the current time, eventually it will grow.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will blockchain games contribute mass adoption for cryptocurrency on: March 14, 2019, 04:00:30 PM
Disclaimer:
Talking about blockchain games I don't mean gambling. I mean games like Glitch Goons that you can download from play market and play even if you don't have crypto.

So, I play blockchain games for 6 months now and I really enjoy them. Some of them remind me Tamagotchi, some of them are very unique.

I don't see a lot of hype around blockchain games but I believe they can contribute mass adoption for crypto. Because you play a nice game and able to earn some crypto.

What do you think?

Well i think it would contribute in it's own way but will help nonetheless. I've also played quite a few on the tron platform like tron dogs and it's a hood way of presenting the product to regular people.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why cryptos are facing such downfall? on: March 14, 2019, 03:58:34 PM
Because a lot of money was withdrawn from cryptocurrency, this was the cause of such a drop in Bitcoin and all other altcoins!
it could be the reason why the crypto currency has decreased and there are many more reasons for the crypto currency to decline and one of the bad news can make a decline and all the development of the crypto currency depends on the investor itself

Well it's cleansing itself as well. I don't think we're supposed to hit 20k in 2017 in the first place. Hype did a lot to draw people in especially those who  didn't even know what they're doing. The bear market purged crypto of those ignorant people thinking about quick money. It may take a little more time still, but i think we're ready to move forward slowly now.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOP THIS DESPERATION FOR FREE TOKENS!!! on: March 14, 2019, 03:55:19 PM
It's best for everyone into airdrop and bounty to carry out some due diligence before embarking on any campaign, some reward are not worth the effort and data utilized in carrying out the task. Developers can be very stingy and its best to leave the job undone. Never settle for less than what you deserve.

Well you can really consider bounties as free tokens since you're actually working for it. And for airdrops, i very seldom have airdrops that end up with actual value. And even if they do manage to get listed, the amount is less than something to make you happy. It's free anyways.
