921  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin finally crossed $4000 on: February 21, 2019, 01:29:09 PM
It's very hilarious that price is under 3900$ now. Not a huge drop but what I can't understand os that why it didn't give further push btc to rise more? Logically since almost everyone wants high price, then there was a very little spark but it didn't cause flame, same happened many times lately. Can anyone tell me what's wrong here? This situation is very curious and price change is hilarious because revives fake hopes for a lot of people.

That's what i've been saying for the past few days. People are already talking about bull runs with just a few hundred dollars up. This has happened several times last year and a few times already this year when the price will move up by a few hundreds and then go into correction. I doubt there'll be any real bull runs that'll happen in the first quarter of this year.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the *easiest* profitable betting strategy? on: February 20, 2019, 05:14:49 PM
With good anticipation and if you really watching the type of games you bet with, you can take the advantage of your good knowledge regarding to any sports gambling that you are engaged, odds affects you since challenge is there with what you think will perform well against the tempting odds that you are seeing around.
Yes, that is the reason that I mostly prefer to play gambling on cricket matches. I have good knowledge about most of the cricket teams and about the players, therefore I mostly give preference to sports gambling and specially to cricket matches.

I really feel confidence while playing gambling on cricket, Big bash, IPL and PSL are my favorite league to play gambling on.

Right. The good thing about that is your chances are much better the more familiar you are with where you're betting at. And you're enjoying it more at the same time. And you get to bet not against the house, which of course doesn't give you a good chance of winning, but against actual players and games.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 20, 2019, 04:59:04 PM

Both are great players, but its hard to compare them as I think they're not contemporaries.

That's why you can said that Lebron has more experience because obviously his been in the league longer that Durant. So when it time for Durant to retire then we can compare him maybe against Harden or Westbrook and gauge how good he really was.

As a fans we do have our owned stars and comparing them would be a long arguments from different perceptions, appreciating them and what
are the contributions that they've bring to this league is more important to remember, they are all good with the fans eyes, only us can differentiate
the qualification of the stars we idolized.

Well you can't avoid comparisons anyway and it's always a good discussion when you compare superstars lol. But i don't think anyone in the league today can compare to lebron sorry lol. Both of them needed superteams to win their championships but let's be honest, bron's a more well rounded player and a physical specimen compared to kd. And i'm a fan of kd more than lbj.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Disadvantages of Gambling on: February 20, 2019, 04:35:47 PM

1) Gambling brings you loneliness, or makes you feel alone or want to be alone, it can isolate you from society or from other important events in your life.

From all of the given disadvantages this is what I believe is indeed because i remember when i was still engaging alot in gambling this is what i felt,i was aloof from others and i always skip friendly bonding just because of my gambling habits and until it turns all my closest friend leaves me because of my new behavior and attitude

Thats why now since I have completely erased my fast life I realize one thing, that friends is still our defense whenewe got in troubles
Actually gambling meant to be other way,it can bring us lot of friends into our life so make our lonliness to forget so you should reconsider about this and surely you can get overcome this disadvantage.

I agree. Some people actually gamble because they're lonely. Though of course we all know that it's not the solution. What can seem to be a solution may be a quicksand that'll sink the lonely person into more problems. It's a doubled edged blade.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: House bills would revisit regulation of cryptocurrencies on: February 20, 2019, 04:27:07 PM
If that bill will pass then even ETF will be possible

Im not sure why people are so excited about this to the point of it beign holy grail of bitcoin. It isnt.
It CAN pump price but its not required for bitcoin success. Its old-world mechanics, bitcoin is future and good that we on this forum realised that so soon that allowed us to invest good.

Well people will realize that an etf approval is overly hyped when it happens. Though bills for regulation i think is a long term benefit more than any etfs. Some regulations may stomp on some btc features but ultimately it's going to lead to higher confidence and eventually, mass adoption.
926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Back to day trading with bitcoin on: February 20, 2019, 04:23:48 PM
I like daily trading because could give us profit every day although not higher profit, we can take profit every time without waiting for long time to discuss about trading or our asset have keep holding for long time.

There are two types of traders, the short one and the longer ones..if you do able to make profits on daily basis in short trade them you are a good trader.

What makes a good day trader though? I'm sure not everyone will be an efficient day trader even if we want to. It takes a lot to be able to sway with the market fluctuations and be content with 1 to 5% profit knowing that there's a chance you can earn more. Experience  plays a big role here more than anything.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On merchants not willing to accept crypto on: February 20, 2019, 04:18:15 PM
What have to worried about some companies and merchants are not received bitcoin as payment transaction, you can withdraw your bitcoin asset become cash money. Always hope bitcoin is never banned as investing or trading on your country and support for withdrawing become cash money.

Hey this depends on who the merchant is and which country does he belong to, initially many were keen to accept it but due to their governments not approving bitcoins they don’t accept it now. Also I feel one should be careful when using bitcoins to pay sellers with zero reputation, here I would suggest you use PayPal. Hey Bitcoins cannot be banned or stopped governments do not have that kind of mechanism to stop it, they can only impose rules which can always be broken.

Well we can't expect majority of sellers to have that much confidence in transacting in btc yet. This is a pretty new technology and people needs to have time to become familiar with it. Especially after the 2018 debacle that stripped confidence from new and would-be users. Give it time. It's inevitable that technology will be embraced by everyone.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse by a global government crackdown? on: February 20, 2019, 04:13:35 PM
The possibility of a government crackdown on bitcoin is unlikely, only legal ones can make bitcoin worse other. We think in a positive way for bitcoin.

The government will act by issuing regulations that can make bitcoin die, if bitcoin is used by criminals and terrorists. But the government will also give the opportunity for bitcoin to develop and become a digital currency that is really needed by the community.
Of course there are several requirements that must be fulfilled by Bitcoin, among others, can contribute to the progress of society, income and avoid use by criminals.

Regulations aren't there to make bitcoin die but to lessen the compromises especially when it comes to security. I'm pretty sure it can start mass adoption with people gaining  confidence in making investments. We need government support if we are to progress. One thing crypto can't afford is a worldwide crackdown.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC Satoshi Nakamoto own? on: February 20, 2019, 04:04:21 PM
no one knows the exact number, but I've read the article, that satoshi nakamoto has about 1 million bitcoin, but that in my opinion is only speculation

Of course it's just a speculation and probably one without any basis. How would anyone know how many btcs satoshi has when we don't even know if he's real. But one thing's for certain though, whoever started all this definitely has enough btcs to last him and a couple of  generations a comfortable life.
930  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best Way for Bargain Hunting in the Bear Market! on: February 20, 2019, 04:00:33 PM
Indeed, profits occur before a bullish market, someone will not get a profit without going through a bearish period, so take advantage of the bearish market as well as possible instead of complaining because bitcoin is not going up,

Totally agree with you! Cool

So what do you think about the current market? a bullish market right?  Grin

Well the fact that it's a bear market means that most coins are at a bargain price. You just have to be patient in timing when you think the price is close to the bottom. Have a plan. And i don't think the current status of the market can be considered as bullish yet. Probably not until we can get back to around 6k in a consistent trend.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix to make a documentary about the altcoin side of crypto on: February 20, 2019, 01:54:25 PM
Well that's another good way to reach out and educate people about crypto. Perhaps it's one step closer to mass adoption and to bring light to people's presumptions that btc is nothing but a scam. It seems the future is finally favoring the market eh?
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Revolution or a new start? on: February 20, 2019, 01:50:47 PM
That is very good, the steps taken by the company prove that the presence of BTC can also be useful for life, and issues that say negative things about bitcoin are just nonsense. let data and facts talk about positive bitcoin for now and in the future.  Cool
I rate bitcoin will open a new history as a digital currency that is widely used in the next decade. I am optimistic that this will happen.
So it is not a revolution run by bitcoin, but an alternative to fiat money is in line with the development of an increasingly advanced era where many transaction processes use digital technology.

Well that may take the long road dude. I can't really say it's a start since online transactions are being done already with fiat but i think time will come when it will revolutionize the way we transact online. I guess that's the difference. We won't be seeing that yet i suppose but eventually btc will be a potent alternative.
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk calls cryptocurrency 'brilliant' while predicting end of paper money.. on: February 20, 2019, 01:40:44 PM
Quote

"Paper money is going away and cryptocurrency is a far better way to transfer value than pieces of paper" but as far as his companies getting involved "I don’t think it would be a good use of Tesla’s resources"...

continued @ https://GlobalCryptoPress.com

Pretty exciting, hopefully some good press can help keep this week's run going!
Unlike CEOs of big banks this guy knows how to handle technological inventions and he easily accepts concrete facts that will reflect itself in the future. Paper money is losing its value and debts are heading up day by day with more than trillions of greenbacks. Adoption of companies will open new doors for crypto solutions to traditional business thinking, then new era of cashless society will start in blink of eye in case of non governmental forces.

Yeah and a statement like this coming from someone as prominent as musk could give bitcoin a boost for the short term. Especially now where it seems we'll be back above the 4k mark before the month ends. And obviously the guy knows what he's talking about.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam?? on: February 20, 2019, 01:37:33 PM

Had you been scammed by them?
They're from China and reading the FAQs will just made you think twice and obviously a red flag and not to mention ther pre order. Only fool will fall for this. Geez people.

Lol. The thing is, there will still be people who'll fall for these kinds of fraud. These people who are probably after quick money keeps this scammers' businesses alive and well. If only we could learn our lessons before we become victims.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would actually believe celebs promoting crypto? on: February 20, 2019, 01:34:44 PM
Well, I'm not surprised that celebrities will endorsed crypto since they are being paid when they endorsed one and who doesn't want money right Cheesy. Even though they promote a coin, we need to do some in deep research before we throw our money or else we will be scammed by this stupid scammers.

Celebrities promote all sorts of products but i doubt it'll be the same with crypto. Imagine a celebrity promoting a share of a new business in the stockmarket. I don't think they'll have a major effect in that.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google keyboard enables Bitcoin symbol on iOS on: February 20, 2019, 01:29:54 PM
@cs_moderator member of "reddit.com/r/Bitcoin" published a picture from his personal phone explaining that Google's listing Bitcoin symbol "BTC" as the first cryptocurrency to be included.

It did not appear to me but it seems to have been added according to the comments in the link[1].

[1] Wow!!!!! I just noticed that the "₿" symbol is now the first currency when u long press $ on Google keyboard.

Well it's cool but it doesn't really mean anything. Bitcoin is not as it was before when few people are aware of it. It's quite common now so it just makes sense that google keyboard includes it. Though i've tried with my android device and it's not quite showing yet.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 19, 2019, 04:18:34 PM
The next big star that it is rising is Antetokounmpo and when the King will retire he will be the best player in the world.
No doubt that Antetokounmpo will be the next king, he is still young and it's expected that he will improved more.
His length and athleticism is going to make him dominant going forward to this career as an NBA player.
This guy can also carry a team, he does not have all star teammates like the warriors so it's pretty clear that he has the talent.

Currently rank as the no. 1 team in the East and I believe he will dominate the East if he will stay.

It is really difficult to think what he can accomplished, I'm sure everyone will agree that the boy is still not yet in his prime but he can do a lot of things that a lot of veterans took years to accomplished. One thing he really needed is a good players, role players that's willing to sacrifice so that they reach the finals this year (hopefully).

Nah. Giannis is any coach's dream player especially if you're looking for someone to build a team around. And yeah the bucks are looking pretty good so far in the season. Though there have been many teams like this in the past that didn't do well in the playoffs simply because they don't have the experience and buckled under pressure. I think it'll probably take a few more years to make the bucks a legitimate title contender even for the eastern conference.
938  Economy / Speculation / Re: new bullish run on: February 19, 2019, 04:10:25 PM
This is a great news for everybody who waited for bullish run to happen, but don't rejoice early because we need to focus on the actual activity which really give us confidence of trusting how crypto will run smoothly. Stay calm and control emotions so that you will develop a good decision prior facing exciting happenings soon.
Yes, this is a process that of course controlling emotions is very important, making a good decision to sell because selling too fast will also be a regret if the bullish really happened. So far the market looks very good and I will not rejoice at this time because usually there will still be corrections that occur and as much as possible to make the most of this moment.
I think in the world of trading the most important thing is not only to regulate the emotions you have, but you must be able to see the right position to buy and sell coins because to determine the right time has very high difficulties.

Guys this isn't new. I mean yeah it's good to see a significant upward movement for the past 2 days but this kind of movement has broken hearts already before when people expected a bull run only to be met with a correction.
939  Economy / Speculation / Re: CRYPTOS TO THE MOON???? on: February 19, 2019, 04:06:23 PM
Since yesterday, the value of cryptocurrencies have continuously gone up . Do you think this is the beginning of a BULL RUN?

https://coinmarketcap.com/

Oh cut it. People tend to always presume things with little market movements. Yeah it's a 400 usd rise in a day but to assume it'll start a bull run this early means you still have to learn a lot about this market. This isn't the first time we've had a few hundred dollars up in this bear market.
940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin. What is possibly happening on: February 19, 2019, 04:03:24 PM
nah, you have not yet seen a cryptocurrency bear market if you think THIS is a bear market Cheesy
this is nothing compared to them. in cryptocurrency world when we say we are in a bear market it means you should expect price to be lower at least 30% within a week and by the end of the month reach at least -50% which is obviously not the case here. the altcoins may still be in one but not bitcoin.

I concur what you said. For those who are  here in crypto world for a long period of time, this bear market isn't the real heartbreaking bearish moment. But for those who are new here like me who did see the bitcoin from the top. This is the bear market we've get a glimpse of.

Anyway, this is how the market performs. And we have to understand that cryptocurrency may flactuate seriously like now.
That faith is real, we can hold longer even if the price continuous to dump.
What we are seeing now is a start of recovery, this is good for holders and everyone who believe that crypto will once again rise.
I believe if we will get the bull run to start in this quarter, we might end this year with a new ATH.

Well what's heartbresking about this is that back then, we're not yet talking about thousands of dollars to one btc. I mean, of course there are a few worse bear trends, but what's a drop from 30usd to 2usd compared to a drop of 20k to 3k? See the difference there?
