1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now or never! on: February 04, 2019, 03:34:08 PM
As you can see, it is very easy to kill a cryptocurrency market, what manipulators are doing day by day, so you do not need to dwell on it and just you must have to work further and increase your portfolio so that one day when the market will start to grow, you must have time to sell everything.
Wouldn't it be wiser to make money from trading? Buy coins for a long time a great risk, because the next drop in prices may well be that will bring even greater losses

Who can really tell though? That's why it depends on whether a person is comfortable with going short or going long. Those who are comfortable with day trading surely has experience and skill under their belts. Same for those investors that prefer going long. The bottom line is that you should know what you're doing and not just throwing your money around and hoping for a good roll.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors in 2019? on: February 04, 2019, 02:09:02 PM
Actually, we are now so careful in making investment because we learned a lot of lessons from the crashed of the market that happened last year ago, we are now planning and studying well before entering the market because we know the consequences that we can face if we are not well prepared.
That's to make assurance,  we better to choice a coin which have a huge potential to grow in the future by looking it's market volume.
Though investment will be a risk for everyone but we can dear it to face and challenge our mental abilities.

Well for those that got in last 2017 and was subjected to the horror of last  year, it was a pretty good lesson. Hopefully most of us understood that crypto and bitcoin is just like any other investment that you can't just rely on hype but required time and effort.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to do this? on: February 04, 2019, 02:02:34 PM
Dear forum participants, I think it's time to introduce restrictions on the ICO. The reason for my proposal was a huge number of fraudulent projects that are hiding with investors' finances, don't pay bounties compensation when the desired amount is reached, etc. I propose to create a verification system that will become an intermediary between the investor and the ICO.
i think there should be bounty smart contract or bounty distribution function in ico smart contract or something like that, this way icos can't cheat anyone, smart contract will payout automatically to bounty participants. people also should really start using platform like wings.

Perhaps this is the most prudent idea to date. Why not do it? Then the bounty hunters would be safe and participate in projects without risk.

Who would then impliment these restrictions? Is crypto right now being governed by any institution? That's a good idea and that's why i think that crypto should in a way work hand in hard with governments to work on certain restrictions especially for these fraudulent  projects.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Twitter accounts do you follow? on: February 04, 2019, 01:59:47 PM
Well of course there are the coins that i most of the time hold like btc, eth, trx and their developer and pages. Coinmarketcap also to keep me updated and dudes like john mcafee and richard branson for entertainment.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why crypto currency prices continues to dip on: February 04, 2019, 01:58:07 PM
It falls, because there are no strong hands, ready to pour their funds, and the weak ones on this background remove the small ones that they have!

Or because people are just tired from this bear trend and have lost interest. The hype would likely return though once the pace starts to pick up for whatever reason. The bull run last 2017 didn't have any specific positive news,, people just jumped into fomo.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Real Solution to Dumping on: February 04, 2019, 01:47:41 PM
Devs should stop blaming bounty hunters for dumping ,they work hard to promote your projects and they have every right to do what they like with the tokens if this is really what you don't want then

Don't pay bounty hunters in your tokens ,pay them in USD ,USDC or ETHEREUM to avoid dumping your tokens and that will have positive impact on your tokens ,dumping will always happen and if the project is a strong one then it will quickly recover

Developer have job to make people know about their product so they pay us with tokens/ coins if use another it will create dump in other side. We can blame developer about their decisions because they already have analysis and plan to execute. No big deal to get payment with tokens/ coins but if not listing on exchanges that's the problems.

I don't even think that the tokens for bounty havr significant quantity to start a major dump. Investors buying huge amounts during startup and selling once they hit exchanges are even bigger causes of dumps. Devs should work hard to prove to these investors that they're work is worth having confidence in for the long run.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is not a year of profit making, but for investments on: February 04, 2019, 01:43:49 PM
Yeah, 2018 is the year where nothing is happened except the dumps on the 2018 which makes our crypto not valuable as 2017.
Move on, 2018 will be 2018 and 2017 will always be 2017.
We're now on 2019 and this year is another one year.
2nd month of the year and still nothing happened.

That's alright, still we are in the 2nd month and we are still in the first week.
There is no race here, we need some good momentum and we do not need a whole year to come back.

It's a waiting game, but only for those who believe that there is a recovery, for those who don't they should jump ship now.

Well, the last quarter of last year up to this point has been a good accumulation time for me. The thing is, for people that are shorting, it's quite difficult to position themselves both for entry and exit. For investors and long term holders of course this is a very good time.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we close that chapter now and move on? on: February 04, 2019, 01:37:37 PM
I think that we need to continue to do this further, because in this way we can get away from the mood that is on the market today. Many investors are so tired of bears, who don’t want to leave our market. It's sad, but true.
I don't even know what news must be published to change the people's mood. But I hope such projects like torent and telegram can start the process.

I doubt that any single coin project like the bittorrent token can pick up the market. And i also don't see the bear trend lifting anytime soon. To be able to get out of this trend there has to be mass buying so the confidence should be high. Coming from a disastrous year, everyone's waiting for that to happen before making a move. I thought that this low price should be reason enough for people to buy but it seems they want it cheaper.
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are not beggars on: February 04, 2019, 01:33:47 PM
Bounty hunters is really spend their time and effort to promote a project and that is good compared to the money but they still some bounty hunters are wrong but they have some right. We need to respect each other because that's the only way to respect you too.  Respect is all we need now. You don't need to beg to your token because you do hard work for that and you deserved to get it that.

Lol. Most bounty hunters don't even know much about the project they're promoting. It's about the tokens and the coins they'll get and there shouldn't be anything wrong with that nor should they be called beggars. They're putting in time and effort man they're not just asking for it.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who are those buying when the price is down and almost everyone is dumping ? on: February 04, 2019, 01:31:10 PM
I am sure that in fact such a strategy can be very successful. If you believe in a good potential for the development or appreciation of a specific coin, you need to buy it. But this should be done in a period of falling market, when prices are at a minimum level - in order to get income after a rise in price of cryptocurrency.
It is very successful to use such a strategy now and in the future, since the corrections will become more frequent and the growth intensity is small.

The question is who are those people? A lot of us here tend to do the opposite. I guess whales and experienced traders and investors are the ones doing this by heart. Those that have established a strategy that doesn't get emotions heavily involved.
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 01, 2019, 02:02:16 PM
Dallas Mavericks received: Kristap Porzingis, Courtney Lee, Tim Hardaway Jr. , Trey Burke
New York Knicks received: Dennis Smith Jr., DeAndre Jordan, Wesley Matthews, future first-round draft

This is unexpected. I mean it's not even on the "hype trading rumors".

For me as a long time Mavericks enthusiast, Im fine with the blockbuster trade. As I said back then here, Dennis Smith Jr. is not working well with Luka Doncic. He became different compare to last year on his rookie season where he is much impressive. About DeAndre Jordan, he is doing good but he is not sure if he will continue his Mavericks journey. His contract will be expire soon same with Matthews.

On the other hand, I don't know what New York Knicks is thinking. I thought Porzingis will be there future franchise player but they gave up on it. Not because of his injury I believed. Surely they are creating a large space to take advantage of the big names in the next free agency.

Thank you for this harizen.

I just woke up and saw the thumbnail in youtube of Stephen Smith reaction about Porzingis and I immediately went to this thread without even opening that video.  Grin It is more detailed here.   Wink

What the hell!!! Those are their star players being traded. What are they thinking??!! They are breaking their chemistry.
Are they really aiming for the playoffs this season or are they doing this for the future? I mean, Dallas doesnt do trades like this. It is way too much. They just got Deandre. How about Smith Jr.? That is one kid with a hell of a future.
I do not really care who won the trade here but it will be a long season for this players to create a great team again.

Thank God they didnt trade Doncic or I will really kill Mark Cuban.  Cool

Well you can't blame mark cuban if he wants to go more euro lol. The fact that a european was their top guy for a long time makes me feel good about this trade. And you can't blame this for ruining the chemistry dude, the mavs aren't doing that well anyways with deandre around. Now imagine kristaps and luka maturing and playing together. It's well worth the risk man.
1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Khabib and Conor fines and suspensions on: February 01, 2019, 01:50:57 PM
This is a follow up as to what had happened when this two met in the ring a couple of months ago. We all know that Khabib went after Conor's team after he won the fight.

Khabib Nurmagomedov receives nine-month suspension, $500K fine for role in UFC 229 brawl

Quote
On Tuesday’s meeting of the Nevada Athletic Commission, a five-member committee voted in favor of a settlement agreement that will see Nurmagomedov receive a nine-month suspension and a $500,000 fine for his involvement in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl. The suspension can be reduced by up to three months pending Nurmagomedov’s participation in an anti-bullying public service announcement that must be approved by the NAC.

Conor McGregor receives six-month suspension, fined $50,000 for role in UFC 229 brawl
Quote
Conor McGregor will be eligible for his return to the Octagon on April 6 having received a six-month suspension for his role on the UFC 229 post-fight fracas.

On Tuesday, five members of the National Athletic Commission voted in favor of a settlement agreement that will see McGregor fined $50,000 and receive a six-month suspension. McGregor’s suspension will be retroactive to Oct. 6, 2018, allowing him to compete again by Apr. 6.

Do you think it's fair that Khabib will be fined $500K + suspension? His $2 mil purse is still withheld up to now. Conor received $50K fined only. Or is this fair since Khabib is the one who started all this issue?

Well it was a big mistake to give in to his emotions though whichever way you look at it. Jumping our of the octago and out into the crowd with fists blazing isn't going to be a good image for the ufc if got a more lenient punishment considering he's the champion. He gave the ufc a clear reason to fine and suspend him so for me it's fair. Lessons learned the hard way. He took it too personally and he allowed his emotions to get the better of him.
1093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where are you playing Poker? on: February 01, 2019, 01:44:35 PM
If you've been thinking about the casino, I like to go to the nearest casino store with friends to drink and play a bit. It's a good party and we enjoy it. I've heard of online casion where there are other games and poker, but I think it's more fun for me to play with my friends.

This is always better idea to go to casinos with friends and hangout and have a great time playing the poker. Somehow even if you do it online I am sure people might not get the feel which you get it when you play in casinos. Also along with spending quality time with friends you gamble and just in case if you win you get extra money too and give your friends a party .

Right. Gambling sites are better for solo games where you're not actually required to have interaction with other players. What makes poker great is that you get to put your wits and strategy  to be able to read your opponents hand or bluff your way out. It's way better seeing your opponents' reaction and eye movements.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the house always win???? on: February 01, 2019, 01:41:53 PM
You have any method to share for win against the house?

What is the best way for bet and win against the house???

Please comment and let us know about it...
We cannot beat the house, the house is always making money from gamblers and that is the fact. If you wish to beat the house then there is no method for it. If you don't want to lose then better not to play gambling. House makes a house because they know that they can actually make money from it, and that is their business so don't expect to make you lose the house.
I don't think so, yeah house could be win but that does not mean that the player cannot profit and win from the house?
if you know the strategy, like when to stop playing when you win, of course you can profit and the house might lose?

You can win and if all people will do the same ( i.e stop after a won )  then i think the house will loose and can go busted in the long run   but the reality is that gambling is purely based on luck and every person has a 1% luck that will strike once in a lifetime.  Thats the reason that most gamblers loss and thats also the reason that a house can win at all times .
I think if you only have a 1% chance to win in gambling, no one will play on that gambling site, every gambling site has a house edge and that has been verified, so is the chance for a player's to win, so I think the chance to win is certainly 50-50 or maybe 60-40 for houses. but you still have a big chance of profit dude
Even if the chance of winning is only one percent, I believe people still gamble at that casino or gambling site because people never think their chances of winning are so low, and they always believe that luck will appear to them, they will be the luckiest and win from gambling. In addition, the house will have a plan to lead them into a trap and think this is a fair game, or the winning rate is not too low, and with such simple and sophisticated things, the house will always win every player, there is no chance of profit here, everything is a trap and too careful calculations

And that's why it would seem that the house always win. It thrives on people's greed and it's easy business for them already right there. Try to play pvp games like poker or gambling games. They have less control over your bets here.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should ico bittorrent be involved? on: February 01, 2019, 01:38:53 PM
A lot of people it seems think so. Btt tokens were sold out in a matter of minutes and that tells a lot about the hype of this token. And we all know hype spells a huge difference with a coin's initial flight. Stock up on trx to get yours lol.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple XRP be the number one cryptocurrency on: February 01, 2019, 01:36:49 PM
Will Ripple XRP be the number one cryptocurrency before the end of the year?

no. that will not happen. Although XRP is a great altcoin and has many investment banks, it doesn't have enough power to beat BTC.
Talking about technology, BTC is really a disastrous failure now that there are many other altcoins with excellent technology platform 5 times of BTC.
but it is a symbol of electronic money and it has great power and cannot be defeated by any altcoin. behind the BTC is a lot of whales.

Imagine thinking that all those banks dont have enough of balance sheet to kill off buttcorn  Grin

A lot of xrp diehards though actually think it will. Perhaps not just this year but they believe xrp will be a top crypto in time. I personally don't think so. A lot of people in the community choose crypto because they're tired of bank monopoly.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: it's hard for me now to be able to speculate crypto prices? on: February 01, 2019, 01:34:13 PM
Well, was it easy predicting prices before? I don't think so. It just may seem a bit more difficult to profit nowadays because of the extended bear trend but speculations are speculations. You don't really expect them to be accurate right?
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't be discouraged, things are going to change! on: February 01, 2019, 12:43:01 PM
This might be the longest bear in the history of the crypto market but it doesn't mean I'm giving up because there is always a time for recovery. The future is still bright for the holders and traders of bitcoin because of some upcoming developments involving bitcoin in the next few years. More patience instead of discouragement will be needed while waiting  for the improvement of the crypto market.
yeah i agree on your statement above that there's always a recovery of market after. But unfortunately ppl nowadays is always complaining and always become  hopeless with crypto due to this long bear season.  In my view only smart ppl and those true believer can understand despite of this situation no doubts.

We cannot avoid that many people or investor's is complaining regarding with the market situation because they spend money and experience big losses in this long bear market, and I agree with you that the bear market situation is only for smart and Patience people if your impatient you will discourage and leave this investment.

Well i agree with the first part that it's good to not be discouraged but also don't make unnecessary assumptions. It's going to be risky listening to someone who assures you that recovery is imminent when they don't have a way to be certain about it.
1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can anyone or experts still predict/ forecast cryptocurrency nowadays? on: February 01, 2019, 12:41:06 PM
One more thing i almost forgot.. Nowdays there supposed crypto gurus and advisors, are proliferating like cockchroaches. Many of them try to make the crowd think they are some kind of genius.. but in last instance they really dont have any idea,  just promote themselves while taking advantage of the ignorance of people willing to invest. SO, better do your own research instead of trusting anyone.
Unless those experts can prove that they had predicted what was going to happen in the market before it happened then they do not have any credibility and we should not believe anything they say since it is very easy to do a bunch of predictions and then when you get one right to claim that you are a genius when in fact the number of predictions they got right is incredibly low.

Even if they somehow managed to make a correct prediction in the past, that doesn't mean all their predictions will be accurate. Even a wild guess can sometimes hit it's target at times. That's why you don't really have to trust these so called experts since their predictions would most likely be as good as yours lol.
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ? on: February 01, 2019, 12:37:32 PM
This is possible but to far away from the real market status as we saw how bitcoin fluctuation affects the ethereum much. Still we cannot expect it because of it we will be only under our emotions once again like the previous 2017 which too many believes 2018 will be a year for ethereum to reach 2000-3000$ that's not happened.
Why do you think that it is possible? Do you know any development or release of product or project which can make it more valuable than Bitcoin and for that Ethereum will pass Bitcoin?

Yeah. Nothing even in the far horizon indicates that eth will have a major run especially this year.  It's even lagging behind ripple so what more for bitcoin. I'm not expecting much from eth this year it's still one of my top coins for the long term.
