1181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC - The unbeaten King on: January 26, 2019, 02:36:11 PM
Bitcoin will always be on the top. This is the most popular cryptocurrency, besides Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency.

There will come a time when people will look beyond those two aspects dude. There will be a coin with better features and when crypto becomes adopted and goes mainstream, they'll start looking at other coins as well.
1182  Economy / Speculation / Re: January...The Next Few Weeks Will Be Crucial on: January 26, 2019, 02:24:29 PM
I think that the January won't be decisive, but the second half or even the end of 2019. Bitcoin can not soar without any reason. We need a gradual buildup, and only then, after breaking through this level, Bitcoin can begin its positive movement. This is my opinion, but many others with whom I have talked about also believe this.
So this not only your opinion instead all of the people you’ve talked, but both yours and OPs predictions are true from this first month until the end of 2019 bitcoin price will struggle to grow but failure will come, from the huge value 2017 had done and many are saying that it was a bubble for sure it will took atleast more than 2 years to finally grow up again in normal growth without price manipulations

Well struggle perhaps but i think 2019 will be better than last year. It will, for me at least, take more than 2 years before we get to that level again as december 2017 so i think people should cease bringing that up for now lol. As far as january, well the first quarter of this year at least, there most likely won't be any major movements.
1183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I told my banker about bitcoin on: January 26, 2019, 02:15:02 PM
Well it's unbelievable that a banker at this point in time don't yet know about bitcoin and it's vast possibilities majority of cryptocurrency enthusiast from where I come from comprises of bankers

indeed, we should tell bankers that all know that crypto is very beneficial for development and we can also get more knowledge from crypto.

Bankers probably know more about crypto than many of us here. Of course they should be well oriented about crypto and what it does and why they have to oppose it. But usually it makes for a healthy argument if someone who knows crypto well sits down with a banker.
1184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is still the most popular? on: January 26, 2019, 02:12:34 PM
Well obviously it's still the most popular with many people still thinking crypto is btc. It's likely going to stay that way for a long time. But the more people become aware of the difference between bitcoin and crypto, the more they'll be able to open up to other currencies. Perhaps then popularity would be a little more balanced.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A quick cancellation can make a profit? on: January 25, 2019, 04:46:00 PM
Well one of the hardest things for a gambler to do is to stand up and walk away. It goes for both being in a lucky streak or a losing streak. There's something that will draw you to the table to matter what and it'll take firm self control to just turn around. But you'll realize that that turn around may just have saved you more losses or placed money in your pocket as you go home.
1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: January 25, 2019, 04:41:50 PM
We recently invented this rock, paper and scissor contest in office and bets are hillariously unreal like treating lunch, half of tbe bread, a service, couple of candies, rubber bands and ofcourse money. This is somehow our way to release stress. The person who will reach to five wins and the game starts with a tag.
Good for relieving stress and expressing your enjoyment, this type of gambling works as a social interactions with people who you love to be with, same thing with cards game playing with your friends while you are drinking some beers, it will bring strong bonds though there's no serious attachment with the amount of winnings but the enjoyment is really important with those normal games that you will play.

Yeah more like a healthy form of gambling with the  goal to be simply for enjoyment, passing time and nothing more. Though try putting a hardcore gambler among the bettors and it could easily escalate to a game for real money.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 25, 2019, 04:37:01 PM
Let's talk about the NBA-All stars.

It's between Team Giannis Antetokounmpo and Team Lebron James. They have been selected as team captains for two sides.

Western Conference starters
Steph Curry (Warriors)
Kevin Durant (Warriors)
Paul George (Thunder)
James Harden (Rockets)
LeBron James (Lakers)

Eastern Conference starters
Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks)
Joel Embiid (76ers)
Kyrie Irving (Celtics)
Kawhi Leonard (Raptors)
Kemba Walker (Hornets)
Source: https://www.skysports.com/nba/news/36244/11616947/lebron-james-and-giannis-antetokounmpo-to-lead-nba-all-stars

What do you say? I'm with Team LBJ.  Smiley

Also rooting for the west to win. I'm surprise PG get the start but he deserved that spot since he has been playing like an MVP lately.
I wonder what the line would be for the West to win in the All star, I'll definitely put my bet on them regardless of the line.

So who will play the Center position, is it gonna be Lebron?
Durant for sure. Yes, PG has been playing MVP levels as of late so there's no surprise there. What a solid first five. Of course I will go for the West to win the All Star, no disrespect to the East though, but West are pretty much stack up.

Whoah the east is pretty stacked as well plus they have a pure center in their starting 5 whereas the west are guards and wing. And i don't believe talent-wise that the west are better oh no. It's going to be pretty interesting. Though i would've loved to see drose start instead of steph 😁
1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA or XRP on: January 25, 2019, 04:22:24 PM
I 200 dollars and I want to know if I should place it in XRP or ADA. I have both so spare the split 50/50 talk Smiley

Thanks in advance!
You are 200 dollars or you have? Smiley.
It is nice that you have money, but you dont know how to work with money. You simply cant invest into something what you do not understand.
I think Your opinion is the right one. In this market, you should not listen to opinions, in order to invest your own funds, there must be your own logic and thinking. Otherwise, you can lose everything from such advice.

Dude's probably making his own research and the question can be part of it so chill. If i were to research about where to place my money between 2 coins, i'd put into consideration other people's input. Both are good projects for me though ripple may have a more kinetic movement this year than cardano.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news from Japan on: January 25, 2019, 04:14:07 PM
Well, japan's been known to embrace innovation so i don't think this is surprising. It's no wonder they're one of the top countries when you talk about progress. The japanese people are open to newer technology a lot more than other nationalities.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of strange projects on: January 25, 2019, 04:08:04 PM
Guys, it have come to my notice that some criminal minded guys are busy creating tokens and using it to defraud people, example of those tokens are *ripple classic, stellar classic, eos classic*, becareful guys and don't fall victim to their sweet mouth, they are busy listing them  in almost exchanges and using that to brainwash guy.... Becareful and guard ur money like ur whole life depends on it
it is very difficult to avoid strange projects as you mean, because strange projects like that cannot be predicted, and will only be seen if we have finished working on the task.
what we can do now is be more careful about choosing projects.

Lol. The fact that it is considered as  "strange" Should already merit doubt in any project. I mean come on, with the number of bogus projects that came out before 2018, a lot of us should've learned our lessons by now.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cryptocurrencies rise or fall on: January 25, 2019, 04:04:28 PM
For me it is both rise and falls, because there is no indication of bullrun until now, so many weak hands believe that crypto will fall, but this is vice versa to those holders that are really grabbing tight on their holding that crypto shall rise again but it takes too much time to recover.
Actually rise and fall are always doing that on the crypto currency not all the time it will rise or to fall. But it depend for us if we want to hold or sell our coins we have in to a low of price or high price.

Actually, the market hardly depends on us as individuals lol. We buy, we sell, the effects on the market in general would be ignorable. Unless majority of the small holderd decide to act as one. It's too early to tell what crypto's fate would be in the future but hopefully for our sakes it moves toward a positive future.
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations or Anonymity on: January 25, 2019, 04:00:26 PM
I choose  regulation as this is the  key to global acceptance of  the cryptocurrency industry, also with regulations and  policy formulation through government involvement, scammers  in the space will be eliminated, this is the future of  cryptocurrency development.

We can very well do with both. It's going to be difficult to stick to just either of the two since anonymity is a feature that sets crypto aside from controlled fiat. It gives power to the people over their money and transactions while regulation is essential to patch the holes in security for this market.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment? on: January 25, 2019, 03:57:16 PM
Projects need time to perfect products, some countries are also very open to cryptocurrency. I believe cryptocurrency will be paid application in the near future.
We don't have to wait for the future just to see the real application of cryptocurrencies with payment. You can pay, eth, bitcoin, litecoin and other acceptable cryptocurrencies when you gamble.
And some merchants does have preferred payment for their products. Application is on the process and it's verified that cryptocurrencies are good for payments.

Yes we're seeing some applications now but i doubt it'll transition to mass adoption soon. As with what a lot of people are saying, crypto is just too unstable/ volatile to be used as a steady payment method. People would rather wait for bitcoin to move up in price instead of using it to pay for something.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High or Low Supply: Which do you prefer? on: January 25, 2019, 02:00:22 PM
When it comes to picking your altcoins, do you take into consideration coin supply?  And if so, do you prefer high or low supply coins?
Yes, of course it will be included in my consideration before making an investment other than the potential possessed by the coin. If the coin has a large supply, I think the price of the coin will be cheap and if it is able to survive it will move like the previous coin coin. And if the coin has a small supply then the price will be high and that will be potential when many interested in the coin.

Well not all coins that started out with large supplies end with the same quantity in the long run. Developers tend to burn coins if they have too much in circulation. That's why i don't really take it that much into consideration.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: January 25, 2019, 01:41:29 PM
You can see the success of bounty campaign from the way the manager does his job well and you also have to be able to see the allocation that is given for bounty campaign, as much as possible you can look for bounty campaigns that can give you benefits that are worth your work.

Yup. A campaign manager's reputation weighs a lot in thus aspect since a respectable camaign manager would've had a lot of successful campaigns under their belts. And you'll feel easy that the manager did the research and study about the camaign since it's their reputation that's on the line.
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Power of Decision on: January 25, 2019, 01:38:40 PM
In crypto currency, decision is a very important thing because it holds the power between your massive profit, or your massive loss.
Alot of people have worthless token because they delayed their decision to sell, or took too long to buy.

What causes power play in decision ? fud and fret, panic and inability to research for yourself.

Well i kind of agree with you on that. A lot of things basically depend on a split moment's decision. That's why traders have to polish sound decison making because if you're in an industry such as trading, one wrong choice could ruin everything you've worked hard for.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether or altcoins? on: January 25, 2019, 01:32:15 PM
I think that in general, ETH, like other altcoins, has today great opportunities for growth, especially after the release of the fork, which can raise coin prices by about 3 times. What can not be said about BTC

Lol. How sure are you that the fork would have positive effects for eth? I mean, yeah we don't know yet, but the recent fork didn't work quite well for bch right? 😁 i still have good feel for ether but not for it's short term movements.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Hodlers have now turned to Traders? on: January 25, 2019, 01:29:09 PM
Many hodlers now are selling their coins to have a capital for trading to recover their losses on this bear market. Well, I think for now that will be the best decision. The crypto market now is stable and it is good for trading.

What do you think guys is the best thing to do this time? Hodl and wait or Trade and get profit.

For some holder with good knowledge and having trading skill, trading is good option to make profits. But its very risky because market fluctuation very high and if we can not read market movement, we can suffering big loss. I am prefer hold my coin for long term because i dont have good skill on trading

Well for some hodlers who perhaps lost a little patience in waiting, yeah it's another option. Though if you're already at a loss while holding, actively trading presents a bigger chance of losing more. Personally i'd stick to sucking it all up and keep my patience.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safety of your private key on: January 25, 2019, 01:25:45 PM
Safe your private key in an offline file and have a printed copy of it.

This is understandable, but if such a case happens when a hacker hacks the server and gets access to your wallet? the case has already been and no one is immune from this, so besides the copy of the keys, you also need to follow the news about what happens to the wallet itself.

Any online wallet is prone to hacks so if you want the safest, get yourself a hardwallet. Though when it comes to private keys, you also have to be careful in handling your hardwallet keys. It'll be harder to retrieve your coins in a hard wallet if you lost your keys there.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: January 24, 2019, 04:24:04 PM
I don't really know why people are still interested in that boring rematch. Pacquiao's last fight just showed how he slowed down and he's not that a beast anymore and he's turning like Mayweather who just wait and wait before he punches. Just give this up guys so you won't complain that are again rob with a show that's not really worth your money.
Correct, don't get me wrong, but the killer instinct of Pacman is gone, maybe he is really old boxer. So a rematch will eventually a boring fight and I'm not gonna buy and will probably watch a reply or just follow the news around.
Maybe he's an old enough on a boxing career, on his Broner's fight I didn't see the rapid punches that usually he used when he turning to a beast mode that makes opponent knock down. I heard rumors that the CEO of Floy Mayweather will say that Floy was retired on boxing career and he is now not showing interest on boxing. But hopefully, there's a rematch fight between Floy and Pacman.

You can't expect of course the same pacquiao from years ago to be the same at 40years old. But you have to appreciate the evolution of his style. Not as explosive but more efficient and mature. Maybe as boring as mayweather but it works for boxers his age. And that rematch is probably just attracting hype for now. If the money becomes right, floyd may consider coming out of retirement.
