1  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bear Market thread on: May 15, 2022, 04:40:31 AM
kasi nasa bear market na talaga tayo now .

Patience is the key lang talaga.

Kailangan din talaga ng market mag fallback parang maging healthy ang market as long as tinitignan lang natin ang mas malaking timeframe.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can America end the war in Ukraine?? on: May 11, 2022, 11:38:47 AM
I think Putin is a suicidal person and will not hesitate to make an all-out war if ever the United States does something that can trigger Putin's emotions. It is mainly the reason why the US is very careful right now with its actions. However, we cannot really say what they are thinking because they continue to slap Russia's butt and then point their finger at Ukraine.

Tho, if US is just committed in Helping then I think they can not just end the war in Ukraine but I think it can end most of the countries

5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Signal to Start Trading and the Signal to Close Trading on: May 08, 2022, 03:49:14 AM
Learn how to use trading indicators, it will help you. Start with relative strength index and bollinga band to know when market is overbought or oversold. Trade with small amount of money and see if you are better. Then you can further with simple moving avarage and exponential moving average. You can learn about fibonacci retracement and what they are meant for. You can learn all these indicators very well, this will help you in trading. Indicators can increase the chance of making profit, but you need to also have risk management and use the money you can afford to lose to trade.

Actually, OP can test these without spending a single penny in his/her pocket. Because we can actually do some technical analysis in tradingview and can easily confirm if we hit or break the target. Probably the best thing to start spending a little amount is when OP is already hitting the target of more than 50% of his/her trade.

@OP , learn to use stock charting first (like tradingview , etc.) then apply your TA (your experimental indicator's combination) there without spending money first  Wink
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: May 07, 2022, 05:29:48 AM
Exploring to see what fits your style is I think the best thing to do in trading. Obviously, one trading tool is not enough, and having more than 3 can be confusing as well. 3 options are enough but finding the right combination is the crucial part. It may take you some time to master your strategy and when you do you start getting your profits.

Don't just follow somebody's trading style it might work for them but maybe not for you. As I have also noticed most of them will only give a portion of information about their strat because of course it is a competition after all.

8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do we raise our kids in this kinda society on: May 05, 2022, 12:25:16 PM
It is indeed difficult, But there is still a way and it may need your sacrifice, especially with your career.  I've noticed that children being raised in the countryside or a province area tend to be more polite and have better manners rather than those who lived in the city where they are easily exposed to bad experiences.

Also, constant guidance is needed. Even if they haven't experienced it you should explain it to them before they learn it from other people. Lastly, it is important to give them support but never limit them to exploring things. Them, knowing that they always have your back is a good thing.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders paradise on: May 04, 2022, 11:37:57 AM
some strategies work for someone, but for others, it won't. he may have secrets, but it is on your own accord how you will uncover those secrets. don't rely on someone to get those tricks. in time, you will understand why you can't disclose to others because there are other factors that you need to consider and it may really not be applicable to others. hard to tell it to others as they may blame you if it doesn't work on your case. better discover things on your own because once you acquired it, no one can steal it from you.

Exactly, based on my experienced. It is really important to know your category in entering this game whether you are planning to do it full-time or just as a side hustle. When you then realized your purpose you sure are gonna be losing amounts in the first few months or even a year of your trading experience as a beginner. In that stage, it is important that you experiment with different techniques that will fit your personality. Experimenting different ideas is far better than just listening to somebody's way of doing things that might not actually work for you and will just be the main reason that you will burn your asset.
10  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ximply trading -learn how to trade on: May 03, 2022, 04:51:15 AM
up?

Kumusta lahat ng mga aspiring traders dyan hehe, after few years meron ba tayong mga newbie traders dati na naging successful na ngayon after reading or learning from this thread? medyo busy na ata yung mga contributers dito but it is still good to talk about our experiences from time to time.

maybe we can talk about new strategies na pde natin i add sa mga current indicators na ginagamit natin Cheesy

1. How to choose a coin pair na papasukan natin (what are the requirements?)
2. not sure if na discuss na yung ratio para sa risk management ano ba ang best way to do it?
11  Other / Archival / Re: Is ignorance bless after all? on: May 03, 2022, 03:42:10 AM
A very simple question.

Should I, as a citizen, be concerned about what's happening to the world? I know I don't feel right when I ignore society's problems as I might have my rights infringed. But, I look around some of my people who're ignorant and they seem happy. Is this constant concern beneficial, after all?

Being ignorant about the issues that a society is currently facing, for me is not a bless at all. As a part of the global community it still affects us in many ways and without knowing it is a complete disaster.  Taking the responsibility is what actually more of a bless. as we are doing our part in preserving a better future for the next generations (including our children's future). Tho, it is really difficult to lead other people to do something which is "right now" not yet affecting their daily lives but it should not also mean we stop contributing for the improvement of our society.
12  Economy / Services / Re: HIRE A -FULL TIME- CRYPTO TRADER on: April 30, 2022, 12:53:55 PM
Hey guys! I'm ready to start making profitable trades on your account and prove my awesome formula for you, any time! Please go ahead and share the API keys when ready.

I have only one question: if you're so good at this, how comes you don't trade with your own money?
And please don't say that you don't have any funds, because that would mean you've never traded.

So.. sorry, but I would not trust this kind of offers...

Simple trick that works on people who don't read or do their own research. As we are going to think about it, most newbies in this industry is looking for an instant rich scheme and this is probably the best trick for a "scam" to use.

Unfortunately, less educated people will likely fall to this trap and I feel bad for them hopefully they will be enlightened by people like you and others who makes time to  give warnings
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: August 04, 2021, 11:50:03 AM
The pandemic really had a huge impact on almost every niche of the business. Sports betting remains one of the very famous and still solid types of online gambling. This is actually somehow good rather than playing some boring machines.

There is this one type of gambling that became quite famous in Asia after the pandemic, it was called "Online Cock Derby/Fighting". Maybe some western countries will be interested in this one.
14  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: do you believe on signals? on: August 03, 2021, 08:43:59 AM
The pumping and dumping signals is one good way to manipulate market specially when you are talking about sh*tcoins. sh*tcoins can really be a good business.

developer creates a sh*tcoin and advertise it to pump the price. Some risks buying it hoping it is a good one but in the middle of the pump suddenly price will collapsed until it is no longer worth it.
15  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: August 02, 2021, 12:23:12 PM
I am not certain if this has been discussed already(sorry yes I skipped 3 pages) but personally, I would love to see if what is the future plans for this community.

These are the specific topics that I really am wanting to see.

  • Future Forum Upgrades? Like planning to release an app? and its details
  • Upcoming projects. directly related to this forum
  • I need a shoutout from theymos(yamete)
16  Other / Meta / Re: Is Bitcointalk.org losing user base? on: August 01, 2021, 01:45:15 PM
As for the user base that looks down, I've actually had the same hunch since december 2019 so I created a special thread to find out why. As of December 3, 2019, this forum still has 133,934 active users according to bpip.org, but today we only have 98,669 logged-in profiles in the last 3 month. Obviously I can feel a lot of decline in term of the number of users. But if the orientation is on quality, I think this forum looks much better than before January 2018 or before the merit system was implemented.

If you were saying that even if the numbers decline rapidly for the past years, but when the quality of posts increases does that mean that we are actually not using base users?

If we are losing users who are actually not contributing with a single thing in this forum that is actually better for the community in the long run.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How the Government made you fat on: July 29, 2021, 03:15:07 AM
Yeah, it's kinda like how way back all the nutritionists demonized fats but then the food companies started loading up on sugar, because "zero fat! was the eye catching headline. Then high fructose corn syrup became dirt cheap and they loaded up every food on the planet with sugary syrup. Even if you look towards government for nutritional advise (imagine doing that), how are they going control Americans from shoving burgers and chips down their gullet? Don't trust them for much.

One very good example is some sort of yogurts with zero fat. I personally think that any processed foods are deadly, natural fats are actually highly needed in our body. Food companies are gaining billions annually poisoning the community and the government of course is highly supporting it because we are talking "billions" in here.

I believe that the government has no reason to make you fat. Because of the advancement of biotechnology, any theory about health and nutrition is constantly changing.
The government's goal is  to make citizens to be healthy. It's just that the theoretical update is slower than the rapid development of society.

If this is the case why is it that most of the countries do not support agriculture that much? They are spending billions to make medicines that were caused by the processed foods rather than spending it on the local farmers and growers.

If the government really cares about the well-being of the citizen they should have banned cigars and soda but they don't because it is giving them a lot of money.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [Poll] At what point will you stop complying with Covid restrictions? on: July 28, 2021, 05:58:27 AM
I personally believe that coronavirus is not just some sort of conspiracy and is indeed affecting our lives as of today. I can only comply with wearing masks when I'm in indoor places that have a quite certain huge amount of people inside such as malls and etc.

I may consider getting vaccinated but not on my priority list. Note that my reason for just "trying" to consider vaccination is not because I am anti-vaxxer but because I don't like how the government in my country handles the said program. Everyone is rushing out to be vaccinated not because they are more likely to be afraid of getting ill but because they will no longer be allowed to purchase goods in the groceries if they don't have the card. That is too much for me, and sadly for a thousand people being in the vaccination area, only a few hundred are catered to every single day.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon will accept Bitcoin payment this year on: July 26, 2021, 10:01:43 AM
This is another good news as Bitcoin adoption is increasing year after year, there has never been a direct means to use Bitcoin as payment on Amazon, but there will be changes even before the end of the year. Amazon is already planning to add Bitcoin to its payment method, it was said that the directive is coming from the Amazon president, Jeff Bazos.

“This isn’t just going through the motions to set up cryptocurrency payment solutions at some point in the future – this is a full-on, well-discussed, integral part of the future mechanism of how Amazon will work,” she told City AM.

“It begins with Bitcoin – this is the key first stage of this crypto project, and the directive is coming from the very top… Jeff Bezos himself.”

The insider also explained that directors of the world’s fourth largest company were keen to move towards ticking off other big cryptocurrencies once it had established a fast and secure method of Bitcoin payment.
I just hope that this is not another billionaire's personal playground that Jeff is trying to pull out like Elon. Tho if I am wrong I think their reason and timing are good as crypto is now widely accepted and this should probably boast more of their income as more crypto users will be interested in purchasing items from them. The thing is when I'm correct we now added another whale in the circulation who is trying to play the game ( those who can't ride the wave will surely drown)
20  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another KYC requirements ng coins.ph? on: July 23, 2021, 03:16:51 PM
From my part naman never ako naka experience na hinihingan ng update for re-verification of documents galing sa coinsph. Ang na notice ko lang is lvl 2 verified lng yung account ko so maybe it is one of the reason? if yung account is lvl 3 or higher mas strikto cla sa policy nila maybe because it involves a larger amount of money? Huh

Kasi nung unang basa ko yung duda ko agad is maybe may expiration yung id na sinubmit nyo like the following id

passport
license
nbi or police clearance.
postal id.

I guess they are constantly checking if expired na ba ang mga ito at kailangan i update. So i suggest gaya ng gamit ko na UMID id try nyo i submit maybe it can solve your problem
