721  Economy / Economics / Re: The relation between Bitcoin and stock market prices - has it changed? on: December 11, 2018, 02:30:08 PM
I think there's a reverse relation. The stock market dips and the Crypto rises.
I'll bring in some charts and evidences in this thread later on to prove this hypothesis.

I am not sure if you were correct but since you have an observation i will be waiting for your graph. More likely I wss thinking that it might just be a coincidence. Before I also saw a situation in which both markets are at its highest peaks in the same time frame
722  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines starting to accept and adopt cryptocurrency. on: December 11, 2018, 07:37:40 AM
No doubt, more than 5m users in one of the biggest exchanger in ph. Imagine for only less than a year the 500k users raises to 1000%

Plus one of the richest city right now in ph supports this certain exchanger to be able to make an easy transactions when you buy coffee, dine out and even applying for a loan
723  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 3 ways of making Money from cryptocurrency on: December 11, 2018, 06:04:59 AM
Wrong idea, yes you can gain from those subjectively and not all the time you will.

There are a lot of good ways to earn using crypto. The most recommended is of course offering your services that could be technical or personal.

Mind that trading is not for everyone and is not an easy way of getting a crypto aswell
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TechCrunch throws shade at Coinbase on: December 10, 2018, 10:34:33 PM
Just thought it was pretty funny, their title reads : Coinbase abandons its cautious approach with plan to list up to 30 new cryptocurrencies

But the url says something else Grin

It's still some serious news nevertheless, because it seems like coinbase is starting to believe in the potential of a lot more coins, their potential list includes coins like : EOS (EOS), Augur (REP), Storj (STORJ), Stellar (XLM), XRP (XRP)... with these names only making a small amount of the list, I don't stand against the TechCrunch journalist calling the rest shitcoins.

I still think this is good for the future, decentralization and smart contracts have come with a lot of innovation, it would be a shame to miss out on some of them, so I guess Coinbase decided to change their stance towards them. But it's still questionable that they didn't choose to pick a few more well known coins like DASH, NANO, so I wonder how this decision is going to age in the upcoming months.

Its just that coinbase chooses the shitcoins that they liked and nano nor dash is not a part of it. Dash is been in the industry for a quite sometime already but still it is in the bottom. Nano is overrated in my opinion maybe coinbade also saw that one.

What ever coinbase might want to do with their business that might not meets our expectations. Coinbase were doing dome crazy stuffs quite awhile already so this is not so surprising
725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Vaccine required on: December 09, 2018, 11:55:27 PM
I think most believe in bitcoins future, some of us have invested quite a bit of time and money into it too...

I too would be curious to know of specific fudsters. There is one or two I can think of but they’ve been spreading dud since I’ve been here, I don’t actually remember their names though.
They exist because they were gaining something while doing it.

If not then obviously they would never waste their time and effort doing so. Unless they are just retarted can't do something for their future might as well waste their bullshiting around the market. I also am staying away from speculation section that place is out of place
726  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: December 09, 2018, 11:21:47 PM
His opinion is indeed true for me. If you do trading then you will surely know why I consider his statement to be true.

It is because i have seen most of the biggest regrets to the crypto world is either on gambling or trading(which is obviously a type of gambling). Most of the loses happens on the exit.

Panick sellers happens to be losing more than to those who do not exit unless they earned their profits.

Yes, you might be thinking to better cut my loss to smaller part than to take risk and wait. Mind that bitcoin is very2 unpredictable and the only way to loss here is when the price droped to 0
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make Bitcoin Great Again on: December 09, 2018, 10:37:04 PM

We don't need to wait for Bitcoin to be great. Is Bitcoin not great now?
In fact, Bitcoin has been successful to some extent. It has become the most popular crypto in the world, and in 2017 it overshadowed all assets such as gold, stocks, etc., which is enough to illustrate Bitcoin is great.
But Bitcoin is not perfect enough yet, not good enough, we just have to wait, it gets better.

You were right when we do compare current's bitcoin price  to the previous years. On that terms bitcoin have really overcomed its challenges.

The problem here is that unlike before bitcoin now is a big headache to everyday transactions between peer to peer (small time bitcoin users who were doing a small business and/or offering their services). Unlike before bitcoin can not just be an asset but a real currency but now people were thinking of this just an investment or an asset
728  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CFO of Chinese tech giant Huawei arrested in Canada for extradition to the US on: December 08, 2018, 05:03:15 AM

So the US is only allowed to cheat the same way China cheats??  China is a worse threat but the US cheating is worse??

US government cheats differently, China is the real cancer when it comes to hitting someones back. They have been bullying smaller countries that were a part of UN except japan

I think even if Canada might just forced to do so the decision is still favorable to them since it is written by their laws as a part of the united nation

If you could suck your own balls you wouldn't need anyone to tell you to do it.

But i couldn't i might need someone to do it

729  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CFO of Chinese tech giant Huawei arrested in Canada for extradition to the US on: December 07, 2018, 11:24:54 PM
I personally doesn't like the current face of china who were actually being involved  in security breaches on any other countries.

However, US is probably worse than china when it comes to that issue plus they are also good in making conspiracy theory to always on their favor.

I am unsure if it was only labeled as "allegedly" then an arrest is really necessary? I am actually laughing cause if the US tell its puppets to suck their own balls which is what the canada is currently doing.
730  Economy / Economics / Re: A Public Market is Turning 'Cashless' in the Philippines on: December 07, 2018, 01:17:10 PM
Its great to see more and more countries ready to be cashless, cashless payment can be more efficient and fast way to do transaction and every people in society now looking for more and more quick way to make transaction and cashless payment could eliminate the cost to produce the fiat especially the coin, and this cashless payment could be the trigger for crypto adoption
It isnt still unless the transaction process will be solved. Mind that the main reason why this people uses this type of payment option because it is way more convenient than bringing physical money. Now for the current situation of bitcoin it directly defeat the purpose of being convenient in any ways
731  Other / Meta / Re: Can we restrict user registerations somehow? on: December 06, 2018, 11:24:31 PM
SMS verification in my opinion doesn't belong in a Bitcoin forum. Yes it would stop most malicious users but a lot of people here wouldn't like giving out personal information. SMS verification could be optional for 2fa.

I have to agree that not all might really want to use sms. Tho, there are already few members here who were giving out personal informations and sms verification might not ve a problem for them.

Therefore, 2fa and sms is both good as long as you have choices since also not all wants to do the 2fa cause i think we already have it in here yet not everyone is using this feature
732  Other / Meta / Re: Why are FUD-trolls allowed to open 4 topics per day? on: December 06, 2018, 01:52:42 PM
Well, you know the current forum situation is. If spamming is still a real problem even if there were solid rules about it. How much more about making FUD statements.

The best thing to do here is to just report every post and explain a good point to why is this a troll post(then hope that something good might happen to this account)

I brought him up in the staff forum back in February. Obviously just a troll account. Pretty sure he is NLC as well. Probably best to just ignore him because nothing will likely be done about it.

sad
733  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump won't punish Saudi crown prince on: December 06, 2018, 01:33:59 PM
I guess Trump is not as brave as he brags to be.

He really isn't, have you ever wonder why he is focusing too much in making walls towards mexican borders?

It is because he really hate mexican cartels that is why he will just have to protect his ass from the mexicans.

He even threatened Philippines current president which is a real asshole than he is and when trump realizes that one he offered friendly deals.

That will surely happens to saudi
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fork of a fork - history lesson on: December 05, 2018, 01:01:25 PM
Then how will you describe bitcoin?( oh, i'll guess probably and atheist?)

Wait, i think the best coin to describe atheist is eth or any other alt coin. Then i am thinking what should be the best thing to describe bitcoin when we categorized it based on beliefs hmm
735  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is School for? on: December 05, 2018, 12:37:59 PM
For me school is a training ground to enhance individuals capacity or talents.

The reality tho is that most of the schools right now value grades more than the knowledge that the student gets. The is why most of the students cheats and that actually destroy individuals future.

This the reeason why i highly valued schools for the special persons, or schools in the mountains which is not proper yet they value learnings a lot.

As you have said it does not guarantee someones future to be better
736  Economy / Economics / Re: Can virtual wallets be confiscated by courts? on: December 05, 2018, 12:05:54 PM
Digital wallets were highly moderated by the government(except for crypto traders). So any form of fraud can be a subject of investigation and yes they can confiscate the amount. I've seen a lot of HYIP that shutdowns because they have violated paypal rules and paypals were ordered to surrender the amount to the government during the investigation

When it comes to crypto , it depends because it happens already that the us government mandated coinbase to give the personal data for a possible tax evasion cases but they refuse to
737  Other / Meta / Re: "Moderator please ban him!!" V2 on: December 04, 2018, 12:58:23 PM
Upon viewing the profile it seems that this account was already nuked by mods. Since it was already proven and the mods also gived the necessary sanctions you can now gracefully close the thread as if there is nothing more to discuss about the issue
738  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: December 04, 2018, 12:42:36 PM
There are a lot of good reason why government bodies were so threatened by crypto's adoption.

Main good point would be the tax evasion.(it is the government's source of life.

Crypto is highly used in the blackmarket. It can allow terrorist to purchase weapons without being identified.

Its a pure thread towards their own currency such USD.

It is highly involved in scamming

It's uncontrollable.
739  Other / Meta / Re: Can we restrict user registerations somehow? on: December 03, 2018, 01:00:29 PM
I'll agree on theymos's decision towards this thing. His intention of why this should not happen is pretty clear and fair.

This forum should welcome all type of new users. We should not get the opportunity for those who wants to learn or discuss anything about crypto by the reason of because most of the newbies just toxicate the community.

In fact we have a lot of newbies right now probably rank FM bellow are actually contributing more than the higher ranks (which are actually more toxic. I know that you know some of this higher ranks)
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin bankruptcy on: December 03, 2018, 12:39:25 PM
Stop throlling around, you have done nothing good to this community.

We lived happily before when the price was still less than $500 every transactions are smooth. If have lived that then we still can even if the price will fall less than $1000
