61  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [DISCUSSION] Different Bitcoin Payment Gateways ⚡ *NEW* on: August 25, 2019, 03:14:48 PM
I'm a little bit curious about sa mga gumagamit ng Bitcoin Payment Gateways lalo na yung Bitpay, halimbawa USD or any national currency ang hinihingi ni marchant from it's consumers.

Halimbawa si Steam gamit ang Bitpay, halimbawa ang hinihingi ni Steam ay USD, since gumagamit sila ng Bitpay, tapos Bitcoin ang ibabayad mo sa Steam at dadaan ng Bitpay, ang matatanggap ba ni Steam ay Bitcoin mismo or converted na ito sa USD or any fiat currency?

I did try to check how Bitpay works before nung gumagawa ako ng web app before because I am planning to incorporate bitcoin as one of the payment options aside from paypal.

The answer is both yes a business owner na nag partner kay Bitpay can accept both crypto payments or they can directly accept it through their bank accounts. So basically it is completely up to the owner. Pero so far sa natatandaan ko iilang FIAT pa lamang ang inaacept nila. AUD,EURO,USD,NZD,CAD at d ko na matandaan yung iba.

Sa case ng Steam naman , Valve is completely getting USD from their costumer's payment from bitpay in buying products sa kanilang steam . The reason kung bakit nila tininigil ang bitcoin payment option sa kanilang tanggapan is dahil sa volatility ng bitcoin and ang reasoning ng Valve management ay dahil nga ayaw nilang mag suffer ang kanilang customers dahil sa pag bulusok ng fees ng bitcoin.  At maraming bitcoin users ang nag rereklamo sa kanila dahil nga daw during their purchase nag fluctuate bigla ang price at kinancel ng bitpay ang payment nila dahil kailangan nila ulit i set ang price according to USD and because of that kailangan na nman nila mag make ng new transaction which also means na another fees nanaman for their customer.
62  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance KYC leak hack or not? on: August 25, 2019, 09:22:48 AM
There will always be loopholes but if someone is trying to reach you out about it and help you to fix such issues and avoid breaches then I think paying them out for such is not so bad since it will fix that issue and avoid it from happening again later on.

I think they should focus on fixing this asap rather than to find someone to blame.
It seems that binance is trying to compensate the leak hack victims by giving them a lifetime VIP membership in their platform rather than paying the so called white hackers.
I personally don't think that it is not enough because it will still be binance that can benefit from the said conversion.

I personally think that they are not blaming the third party for no solid evidences. Based on their investigation the said publicized photos has no watermarks that will indicate its reliability.

Here is an official binance statement for full info.

63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Humans Gamble since 3000BC, and Governments still try to ban on: August 24, 2019, 12:45:08 PM
I think you got the wrong idea. I am certain that gambling in Japan are not all illegal, mostly yes but still people can gamble and have fun but mostly it comes to sports betting and lottery.

Gambling highly involves laundering and addiction problem (which somehow the government can't fix and thinking that the best possible option is just to ban it entirely).

Quote
If government ban gambling, people will gamble illegally. Just like prohibiting drugs, people will still use drugs illegally,
Even if gambling will becomes legal there can still be "illegal" form of gambling. Are you saying that we should also allow the use of drugs so it will not be used illegally even if the addict can hurt somebody? that is completely irrational
64  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ip banning, do you think it is pointless? on: August 24, 2019, 07:05:27 AM
Exchanges and casinos block ips from the United States but everyone just uses a VPN, why even block their ips in the first place when you know they are going to do it anyways.  I'm guessing they do it so they have some type of deniability?

Blocking certain Ip addresses where their services are aren't accepted is actually the best possible option that a certain company could do to defend their side when somebody will sue them especially the government in the near future.

Keeping their defense up will not be useless at all as it will be beneficial for them to be in the right track of respecting a certain laws from x country. Actually there are few legit gambling websites and most exchanges follows the KYC policy so they could easily identify the nationality and identity of the user. By doing the KYC policy it will be completely impossible for a certain user to use their service even if they are using VPN because their account verification request will surely gets rejected.
65  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC lowers its fees on: August 24, 2019, 06:41:11 AM
Separating small fees is actually a good marketing for them it may sounds like they are having the lowest fees and looking it like it seems that they have the lowest trading fee, might at least somehow people will still consider  coming into their platform despite of having a bad reviews because of the scam accusations. They are not honest and reliable at all you can see more of the sentiments from this thread.

https://www.reddit.com/r/hitbtc/comments/ajeloh/anyone_else_never_have_a_problem_with_hitbtc/

I would rather stay on the .10 trading fee, a .03 difference isn't that big at all.

I've sold a small amount Viberate tokens and some ETH on HitBTC 3 years ago.Had no problem at all,but I'm pretty sure that if I tried to sell big amounts, they would probably scam me.
HitBTC was helpful for me in the past, just because there were some ICO tokens listed there, that weren't listed on any other marketplace. However,ICO tokens are a reg flag too.If it's easy to list some shitty ICO token on a crypto exchange, that exchange most likely isn't that legit.
I don't care about trading fees that much.

Actually ICOs can be a very good tool for a fake business. Fake business can easily run a fake coin.
66  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [GUIDE] PAANO MAGMINA NG BITCOIN???? - Building Mining Rigs on: August 24, 2019, 03:28:22 AM
Hi po good eve!

question po, i'm using gigabyte ga-ma785g-ud3h mobo, (5 pcie)
Kaso ung tatlong pcie slot 4 mhz lng binibigay Sad
Using SMOS claymore (miner), decent nman po ung hashrate ng mga gpu ko 5x msi rx 470 8gb armor OC, (bios modd 😁😁)
Try to swap gpu's to each pcie slot ok nman po dun sa dlwang pcie slot, nsa 50 something lng ung mhz nya Sad
Any idea how to fix this po,

Thanks in advance

-kb

I completely get it kung bakit nasa 50mhz lng nakukuha mo mate dahil  it seems two lng yung working gpus mo plus the 4mhz na binibigay ng other 3 slots. I really am not so familiar when it comes to MOBO mate but I think your problem relies on your PCIE slots. As far as I have understood kasi yang mobo na ginagamit mo even if it has 5 Pcie slots where you can add your Gpus. it's either dalawa  lng dyan ang x16 or one x8 and x16 and the rest of the slots are mababa probably around x4.

So based on my understanding on that matter. Even if you inserted 3 x16 pcie cards (which are your GPUS) if you inserted it sa x4 lng na pcie slots and bandwith na mabibigay nyan is yung kaya lamang ng pcie slot mo. There are also PCie generations na tinatawag nila the newer the version the higher the bandwith na kaya i bigay ng slot na yun.

So what I am currently thinking right now for your solution is to probably run 2  MOBO's or even 3 using that same mobo at insert mo 2 gpus per mobo. Or find a mobo na may 5 na x16 pcie slots that can maximize your gpus potential( I am not sure tho if may ganyan bang mobo lol). Previously kasi mostly sa mga miners are only using 2 gpus per mobo nila yung iba pa nga eh their mobo can't run both for example two rx 480 na card. So instead adding two rx 480 ginawa nila is one rx 480 and one rx 470.

And is it really beneficial till now?
I only saw one before yung USB type na miner. Pero it doesnt actually matter as long as my GPU ka you can directly run your own rigs. It is actually not to difficult to set it up. Kasi again parang computer set up lng naman cya at first at if gusto mo mas dumami yung rigs mo dun na medyo slightly becomes more complicated.

There are two types of mining kasi.

GPU mining which yung pc version alike
ASIC  mining ito yung may mga devices na talaga na ginagawa for the purpose of mining only. Like "Ant Miner"

Bitcoin mining profits has a lot of different aspects.
Price ng kuryente
Mining Tools Mo
yung Pools kung nasaan ka
Difficulty ng mining etc.

Is it beneficial? It can be yes if mababa price ng kuryente sa area nyo. probably if kaya ng area nyo na nasa .10 or below per watts ata yun then magandang sign yan. Pero quite impossible to find sa pinas lol. Maganda ba yung mining rigs mo? if yes then magandang sign then yan. Mababa ba difficulty ng bitcoin? which is not the case right now lol pero as long as ok ka dun sa dalawa at maganda naman yung pool na nasalihan mo then probably yes it is still beneficial.
67  Other / Meta / Re: Limit signature campaigns on: August 23, 2019, 06:53:26 AM
The real problem that needs to be addressed are actually the "Paid" Signature campaigns. So I personally think that banning signature campaigns is still not the solution.

When it comes to limiting signatures it might be a good idea. All the paid signatures should I think needs to make an application inside this forum. We should form a committee I highly suggest that it will be from the DT and Mods. Then we should form an agreement that anyone who wishes to apply should understand the risk of being tagged if proven spamming.

I know that trust system should not be used for spamming but I think it can be the best tool. We just need to have the right people.

While bounty campaigns on the other hand should have a separate site where they will be posting there proofs instead of here. Bounty campaign should also go to the application process. This idea is pretty raw and might have a loopholes that I haven't tought of.
68  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New exchange, btex.com on: August 23, 2019, 06:06:17 AM
Report BTEX scam!

Also scammed by BTEX?
Whether your account has been blocked?
Report it via the telegram group!

https://t.me/btexscamchat

Well it seems that they really are not serious about their business in the first place. Providing less documents and information about the company is already are a good sign. Plus they've even launched their site even if there are obvious bugs that needs fixes. You people should start creating a scam accusation in the right boards so that this company who's allegedly scamming people can't go back easily from this community. And hopefully the site will be turn down if proven guilty
69  Other / Meta / Re: Spam Sections on: August 22, 2019, 02:48:24 PM
Point being, I don't think just because you're in a signature campaign you should be altering your behavior, and avoid posting in sections that you would normally.
Users should read rules of campaigns that they are interested in, before applying. One of requirements that they should consider is which boards in which posts accepted and/or there are posts required in special boards, such as gambling, local boards. If they are not familiar with gambling boards, and have never posted in gambling boards, it is better to do not apply. Altering posting behaviors and trying to post in unfamiliar boards might make posters looks dumb by their non-sense posts, somehow.
You are right that a certain user should not apply if they are not capable of posting into boards that they are not familiar with but  based on my understanding what welsh is trying to point out is that you shouldn't also stop posting into boards that you are somehow comfortable to. As long as you can meet the requirements that your campaign requires you that is pretty reasonable.

I have seen none from any legit campaigns that removed somebody by posting into boards based on his/her habbit that is not counted to the certain campaign where the user is currently enrolled as long as again the user meets the campaign requirements.
70  Other / Meta / Re: Spam Sections on: August 22, 2019, 12:57:10 PM

I definitely agree! Most of the campaigns now, even the high-paying campaigns do have low-quality posters. It's such a disgrace if they're receiving a high payment but their posts are like a newbie.

You should start pointing out names, it is quite hard to identify this one because as far as I am seeing most of the higher paid signature participants are actually posting a quality ones rather than to those who are paid quite lower. It is also not good to try posting about how low the quality posts are based on your point of view. Are you relatively saying that the one who's been managing the "High Paid Campaign" is ineffective?

There are actually very few discussions in there that are somehow good so do not discourage all not to post there if they are getting paid for it. That is completely irrational.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: August 22, 2019, 10:10:42 AM
Why nowadays when there's a gambling site that offer a bunos on your first depost it seems like scam?  Especially if the bunos is to much than your initial deposit.

And also whe all knows mostly gambling site nowadays are using KYC.  but why when there's a promising site that doesn't require  kyc it smell fishy as well?  What did happen to this world?  How to trust again on this kind of sites?

There are actually a lot of trusted websites that you can choose from why are you actually wasting your time looking for some sites that you don't like or trust at first? It actually doesn't not make sense in my opinion.

Even the trusted websites can have huge issues how much more if you are only considering new ones with less volume and users? So basically it is all about your choices
72  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Gumawa ng Blockchain gamit ang Programming Languages. on: August 22, 2019, 09:18:40 AM
Hindi po ako programmer pero parang sa nakikita ko po wala siyang network na pinagkonekan? is that for simulation lang ng hashes per block in blockchain using Raspberry Pi?

Ganito kasi yan, every system or software na ginagawa will start from using only your own local drives. So basically your code will still completely run kahit na  simulation lng iyan or your final output even without a "Network".

What's the purpose of connecting your system to a network? whether it is Local Are Network, Wide Area Network, World Wide Web which is the Global Network or the Internet. Ang main purpose nyan is to obviously to connect your system or software to other people who shares the same network.

So for example is to what happens to @OP yung nagawa nyang program is not connected to a network so basically siya lng din makakapag test ng program nya. But what if gusto mo rin i try? Dyan na papasok ang network. Pde i upload ni OP yung program nya sa isang hosting at pde kana din mag test through it.

73  Economy / Exchanges / Re: best exchange to buy AND sell on: August 22, 2019, 05:52:07 AM
Binance "was" always been a good option before all the hacking issues have had happened. So it is still up to you @OP, if leaking your personal information to a hacker doesn't concern you that much and will only care about the lesser fees you could get then proceed to using Binance.

I heard that there is this one exchange site that also offers the same trading fee same with Binance. It is called Bibox, tho I can't personally tell you how secured the site is you can give some time in researching that one.
74  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I need 5 sources of revenue to generate $200 each per month - Ideas? on: August 22, 2019, 03:37:21 AM
I am currently also thinking of the same thing by now. The only difference I guess is that I have much time to spear on than you since I currently don't have a full time job. I have been putting some time right now creating my own website.

I am still currently on the process but I will be sharing to you the things that I have considered in making a revenue if I have completed it. Basically It's all about Ad revenue, and affiliate marketing.

Identify your expertise first or the thing that you love doing so it will be quite easier for you to categorize your site niche and your target audience. For example I really loved reading news about politics. by that I already have identified my niche target which is political news. Now I have to identify my target audience do I plan to write for world politics or local politics? I then choose to write for "World" politics as that might get me more readers of my article.

So now I am aiming for a world political blog site which's main source of revenue is from the ads. Then use youtube to a create a video content about the said news and also monetize it. At the same time find an affiliate marketing that might interest your targeted audience for example selling magazines from amazons that it is somehow related to politics or social etc.

As your blog site grows you can then hire somebody who can write for you or make contents for you.

~
You can earn via searching on bing.

A single bing account with an outlook email can earn about 5 or 6 dollars a month.

You can write a script to do the searches. It takes a person about 7 minutes a day which is 210 minutes a month.

But a proper script could do it . Is it scalable to an extent yes but most likely no more then 3 accounts per ip will work. My wife and I and a friend do 3 accounts a month on my pc. It earns about 15-17 in amazon cards.

I don’t mind doing searches manually.

This is definitely worth of a try. I supposed that you already do have your own script by now?
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: August 21, 2019, 06:18:53 AM
What an amazing stats he do have and imagine with that young age he do able to have these rankings. This kid does really possess something and no doubt
this would be an another cashcow by those greedy promoter and about on the image above,i do remember the anime Hajime Ippo on that image and now they do
apply it on real life.
I think you haven't really probably seen this Kid fought on the ring yet and to why this kid is actually being called as a monster. This kid does really possess something almost everything that a monster fighter could have.

Donaire in the other hand has the full experience advantage. He has fought probably the best fighters in this division. He is also much wiser by now

You could really rank fast if he is going to fight stateside. He is really that good that he needs to go somewhere else besides fighting in Japan. And this whole WBSS Bantamweight competition was very good for him as far as exposure. But after this he should be really fighting in US soil and could probably get a contract from big names out there to maximise his profitability, just like what Manny did when he broke the boxing scene in the US, making him the second richest boxer behind Floyd.
for both of them yes. This can be a good exposure to a new booming fighter and to an old trying to comeback fighter. Fighting in US should really the thing that the management of the Japanese guy should consider after this fight most especially if he wins.
76  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance KYC leak hack or not? on: August 21, 2019, 05:37:09 AM
Im just glad that I did not went for a KYC in the previous exchanges that I've used. I move out from bitmex moved to Binance but when they decided to make their KYc policy such as the poloniex.

I can probably say that at first the binance management is really trying to be honest with us because they were known for being public if anything bad happens to their system. Tho, when they certainly lose their control with the multiple hacking issue they started to getting more private. Maybe to protect their image which is completely understandable. I think the main issue here is their systems capability shouldn't be trusted.  For me they are still one of the few whom you can somehow trust if they can improve their securities

Those alleged "white hackers" are completely arrogant in my opinion. Hacking for their personal goal isn't considered as white hacking at all cause if they do. They did not get the personal info and use it to gain money. They can somehow earn it by providing the said exchanger the solution with their price that is probably more ethical
77  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May tax ba ang Cryptocurrency? on: August 21, 2019, 01:42:01 AM
@Bttzed03, thank you so much for bringing this topic up.

Pde itong maging capital tax gains or income tax.

But then again malaking part ng pag consider sa iyong possible tax yung tax reform. As long as you are gaining not more than 20,000 pesos monthly . You are not liable to pay your "Income Tax" in accordance to law. At when it comes to capital gains tax I will summarize it for everyone to atleast get an idea.

You are entitled to pay capital tax gains if:
-Binenta mo yung crypto asset mo
-Bumili ka ng producto gamit ang iyong asset.
Yan lng nalalaman ko sa ngayon.

I think this article is worth reading para naman ma intidihan nyo kahit papano.

78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / New self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto's reveal is a complete epic fail? on: August 20, 2019, 06:15:59 AM
Recently, I came across with the latest crypto reddit trend from a self proclaimed satoshi. I have read the details and I did try to compare it to satoshi's writing style in here and it seems that their level of intellect is quite far. The guy behind this news is somehow using the numerology tho to explain how was the pseudonym "Satoshi Nakamoto" was created.

The funny thing as well is that this certain guy is trying to do it on a three part reveal. Most of the reddit users including me are expecting something to sell his new token release. Tho, I must say that still there can be good points here that a newbie can learn like Hal Finney's contribution to bitcoin creation.

I still can't understand to why fraudsters are expecting people from this community to believe in this. If they were really satoshi sending some signed message from satoshi's wallet can still be the solid evidence we should see.

I am interested with your thoughts tho.

Just simply copy the thread link and post it down right here. Even tho, there are really obvious in the merit system it is really quite hard to provide a very solid evidences especially if the trade conversion happens outside the forum.

I really hate it when the subjective matter are actually being used to abuse this system. In some cases there are also common points where a certain user feels like he/she should also send to that other user because he/she have given by that user.
