321  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Technology development taking us to? on: May 26, 2019, 02:35:09 AM
I still have that ideology  in which making so much of the technology can leads to the destruction of this planet. People are now becoming a robot. As you have said most of the people right now in the urban places are looking down rather than interacting with the other people.

People should have to wake up we actually don't need it. We are tied of the certain entertainment that the technology gives us. But the real entertainment still goes about how you interact to other people, the best foods you eat, a quite place such as beach to relax or a mountain to climb. Most especially a slow paced life to live
322  Local / Pamilihan / Re: List of Universities Offering NEM Blockchain Courses in the Philippines on: May 24, 2019, 09:24:59 AM

Hindi pa tlga pde i apply to as for now, I was just saying na this can be a good start for storing confidential data from the government. Cguro 10 years from now pa yung na iisip ko na if this kind of courses will work malamang may mga professionals na tayo by the end of that time who can work for the government ( well it still depends sa mga namamahala if by that time they will start to proposed adopting such technology for data processing.

Therefore  having a degree for me is not necessary and marami naman din magagalang from ICCT schools dahil hindi cla umasa lng sa corrupt system ng kanilang school and I think marami ng kabataan ngaun ang natuto from the mistakes of their seniors
323  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Patulong kung pede ako mag mine ng Monero on: May 24, 2019, 04:10:39 AM

Almost same tyo ng specs pag nag full thread good as pang afk na tlga ang set lag na. Ako kasi 50 percent lang ng computer ko ang ginagamit ko since naglalaro ako game from memu play. Kaya nag eenjoy ako habang nag eearn ng money.

@OP tama sila you need to either setup a new rig to mine proficiently or just buy monero and hold. If you really want to mine you can check your benchmark ky minergate mismo sabihan ka na ni minergate if kaya or hindi.

Nag mine ka parin ba hanggang ngaun mate? pde pa kita ng mga stats mo hehe just want to know if mag kano kitaan ngaun kasi based on the other statistical graphs mahirap tlaga mag mine din ng monero ngaun.

If you are getting small fees from your electricity bill mate then that strategy might be good for you. Pero if i check mo ng mabuti mate ang kalagayan ng pc parts mo hindi ko masasabing kikita ka tlga kasi one thing is for sure mas mabilis mag shorten ang life span ng mga specs mo mate so make sure lng na kalkulado mo tlga ng maagi ang makukuha mung coins and its price to your spendings and asset lose.
324  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reasons anonymous payment method is necessary on: May 24, 2019, 02:17:30 AM
Ironically, the government is trying to point out the main reason of being strict to this is to minimize the case of money laundering. While on the upper hand most of the law makers from the government are doing the worse thing and that sucks.

The generations today are now seeking more of our privacy because I would rather used my personal information to the things I really needed and have willingly provided it rather than someone or somebody will be using it for their own benefits.

On the other hand tho, this is a global issue therefore other countries just follows the united laws that was created by those first class countries because they were too afraid that there might be a boycott of economic help when it comes to any crisis.
325  Local / Pamilihan / Re: List of Universities Offering NEM Blockchain Courses in the Philippines on: May 24, 2019, 02:05:07 AM
May naka debate ako previously about voting system using blockchain and this curriculum na gusto i turo ng NEM can really be a good start for the government to start learning the tech kahit for a better storage for confidential data lng muna.

Most of the schools naman na nabanggit are capable sa na sabing course offering while others may seemed to be nakikisabay lng sa trend (tho let's not talk about crossing the bridge 'til we get there.

Just A little info lang for this company.

Ano nga ba ang NEM Blockchain tech at ang kaya nilang i offer

Na alala ko lng tamad pala ko kaya basihin nyo nlng dito lol
https://nem.io/about/foundation/

~

Too bad for you mate, have you considered na lumipat ng school, Btw just a small info. In cebu malala din ang teaching system ng AMA I am not sure also if they will adopt this innovative approach for their curriculum.

Payment received. It doesn't matter anymore who we should or shouldn't trust. We have completely done our part fairly and that should be enough.

The current issue is indeed serious and is actually scares me a little bit. I thought that this certain services are fair and legit as most of this are running through the market for several years already and have established some good reputation
328  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Patulong kung pede ako mag mine ng Monero on: May 22, 2019, 03:38:01 PM
Masyadong mahina yan mate compare mo sa current electricity rate sa inyo mag kano ba rate sa inyo per peso. sa amin kasi nasa .15php

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2126975.0 try mo dito mate maganda discussion jan. Pero as I have said hindi kikita ang current set mo. As I remember last year nag try ako mag mine din ng monero.

Ito nga pala ang current set ko na ginamit ko sa mining

i3 7th gen cpu
1050ti gt
at 8gb ddr5 ram

Medyo ok lng naman cya sa performance mate lalo na pag nag overclocked ako minsan at full thread ginagamit ko ang problem lng tlga is d ko ma gamit pc ko dahil ma lag na at d din sulit sa electricity bill
329  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobs Created by the Blockchain & Bitcoin on: May 22, 2019, 02:36:47 PM
Being a part of this community having some background with regards to development. I also am currently aiming to learn designated skills to be able to qualify soon as a blockchain developer.

This can be a good opportunity for me if I can aquire the said skill as soon as possible since blockchain is also indeed paying good amounts.
330  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trade war China and US on: May 22, 2019, 01:48:50 PM
Was that the reason Google stopped supporitng Huawei and Honor?

Because Trump ordered it for the reason that Huawei  is spying on US. I love that moved tho even if that was ironically being done by the US government. China should stop acting like the hell they are in superior of other countries.

Now that what they are doing are actually receiving it's Karma lol. And yet the Huawei company still insisted that there will only be no major effect of to what have happened
331  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism should remain a zero-tolerance bannable offense on: May 22, 2019, 08:17:07 AM
There is quote button available for use, and help us more easily to mention as well as point out previous posts/ discussions without fear of plagiarism violations. Human can make mistakes, even with plagiarism, sometimes we unintentionally make it (but such unintentional plagiarism is so rare), but most of times, people plagiarised mainly due to their laziness, and financial motivation behind (such as want to get easy money by copying and pasting to hit post quota). In my opinion, it's hard to explain why users do plagiarism and get sympathy as well as reduced sentence for that. Therefore, by now there are very limited users whom received reduced sentences.
I agree, primarily that was the main reason. Tho, as we look at the human system when it comes to crime even the death penalty can be revoked. So as I have said as long as they know what they have done wrong then solemnley swear that they will be no longer doing the same mistakes plus did some good deeds as well during the said period of time then "it might slightly" be considerable.

There are some users whom made ban appeals for others, but I don't know such ban appeals on behalf of real banned users will be considered as ban evasion or not. By now, within current terrible banwave, I have not seen admins or global moderators call it as ban evasions. In addition, I guess what you actually meant about changes is things, contributions or net-effects in the forum that users did after his or her plagiarism (when they were not found) and before the permanent-banned days. It is sure that such contributions play important role in investigation procedures of admins, and global moderators.
I personally hate it when somebody does that to those users who commit the said crime. I have also seen people demanding because of their said contribution (which actually makes them a very terrible user in this community).
332  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paraan para Maiwasan ang Pagkawala ng ating Bitcoin on: May 22, 2019, 07:28:14 AM
Thank you for sharing this informative info, tho I am quite hesitant na madali ito ma gets ng mga new comers and hopefully they will try to read and understand this. Meron lng akong isang gustong i add.

Nag run through lng ako sa post mo and I have noticed na parang hindi mo na lagay ang double spending. There are several cases before na may iilang trades or services na scam dahil sa trick na ito.

A very simple trick na kung saan pde mo i spend ang the same bitcoin amount  mo sa dalawang product, ibig sabihin na kaya mo bumili ng dalawang product sa iisang halaga lamang.

Here is some good example for that

https://medium.com/coinmonks/what-is-a-51-attack-or-double-spend-attack-aa108db63474

Pde kasi parin ito i connect sa pag kawala ng bitcoin mo or alt coin mo sa isang trade. Tho, I am not that sure if this problem still existed
333  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism should remain a zero-tolerance bannable offense on: May 22, 2019, 06:06:11 AM
I personally don't like copying someone's post. Tho, even if I was a victim before of the said issue. I still consider some cases in which they have known, have understood and have changed their mistake.

Therefore I personally support un - banning plagiarist who Do not ask for it  but have shown his/her effort to change it. Other than that if the said plagiarizing was made not by mistake and for gaining some incentives then a permaban is really worth the punishment

334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC and Gold? on: May 22, 2019, 04:46:11 AM
The article was pretty generic imo, definitely not "interesting" in my eyes. There are others which have explored the topic more and are purpose driven at that.

Anyway, if this is about which is better, that would be subjective as it would depend on your purpose.

There is really no point in comparing this two type of things. We are no longer on the previous age where people consider bitcoin as an alternative to gold cause in reality it isn't and most of us right now have fully understood that both has different purposed.

Even if you have the same purpose it cannot still be a good comparison. Unless you compare having the same category. A stone to a stone and a crypto to a crypto
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question about decentralization on: May 22, 2019, 03:28:53 AM
Well, I think if China impliments crypto mining ban, other countries will start their venture to mine cryptocurrency. Before majority of mining power came from China. I think banning mining in their country will open other opportunities to start building mining companies.

That is exactly the point, China currently dominates the a good portion of hashrates which also means that only miners from China were able to gain benefits. I am exactly not sure tho on how can the other countries start their mining farms since as of the moment having the lowest electricity rate China really has a good stand with regards to mining.

Maybe slowly the mining ventures will start to spread out after the said banning
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC and Gold? on: May 21, 2019, 04:19:41 PM
I still don't get it to why up until now people compare this two when they are very far from each other, Gold is simple unlike bitcoin.  I find gold more precious than bitcoin tho as it cannot just be a great asset but can also be a good  tool for passion and art.

The temptation for many to buy bitcoin is that the issue of coins is limited. It really comparable some way to gold, because when Bitcoin reaches a huge capitalization, its value can be much higher. Another plus is volatility. On gold, you can not get rich or go bankrupt, as in Bitcoin.

There are actually a lot of people who got rich because of Gold therefore it can still be a good investment
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question about decentralization on: May 21, 2019, 09:34:35 AM
@cryptobry, who actually told you that China banning bitcoin can lead to a problem?

Again the mining power of China is not as much as we think if the above guy is right then 20% or less powerloss is not really a huge problem. That would only mean that there will be an open opportunity for the upcoming miners outside China.  And even if there will be a complete ban in China bitcoin can 100% surely surived because of its decentralized feature
338  Economy / Economics / Re: On stablecoins on: May 21, 2019, 08:23:41 AM
the biggest problem that i see with stablecoins is that they are centralized and not like fiat centralization, but worse since they are issued by a company that can go under or run away. with fiat at least the whole country has to go under for their fiat to become worthless but the stablecoin the company which has a high risk of going under can do that and the coin can become worthless in an instant!

In most cases most of the stablecoins are made trough bank corporation. Following the banking principle which is mostly against crypto which made it really centralized. You are also right this type of coin can be easily worthless if the management fails to do its job and by that being said crypto still has a more unique approach when it comes to currency and again I love to categorize such coins as a sh*tcoin
339  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google suspends Huawei's Android support on: May 21, 2019, 05:14:00 AM

But guess what the Huaweii team are actually prepared for this situation

Quote
Huawei has said it has spent the last few years preparing a contingency plan by developing its own technology in case it is blocked from using Android. Some of this technology is already being used in products sold in China, the company has said.

The impact is expected to be minimal in the Chinese market. Most Google mobile apps are banned in China, where alternatives are offered by domestic competitors such as Tencent and Baidu.

Huawei’s European business, its second-biggest market, could be hit as Huawei licenses these services from Google in Europe.

Would Huawei be able to rely on domestic sales in China alone though? I know these phones are supposed to usually last shorter than an iPhone but there also other domestic brands in China it have to compete with.

Maybe this would force them to focus on Asia.

I am not so sure but based on the statement that was given by Huaweii , you will only be able to have minimal effect if currently you are a Huaweii phone user as google will  only suspend their services to the later Huaweii phones. I am not so sure on how are they going to do it but one thing is clear to me here it can really affect their sales as most of the android users are actually relying too much on the playstore and other Google services. The effect of this is worldwide therefore if you are living outside China you will surely no longer support future Huaweii phone products because it is actually not just Google who removed their services from this phone, there were also more famous brands from US.
340  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Matuto][Info] Voting System using Blockchain? on: May 21, 2019, 04:39:46 AM
What kind of improvement ba ang magagawa sa PCOS machine? enhance scanning speed rate? enhance data gathering? Katulad nga ng sinabi ko sa thread ko na 'to, it's just a basic system at kahit anong upgrade mo sa machine if hindi naman concrete yung server, pwede pa rin yan mabago. Kahit lagyan mo ng maximum security ang server ng COMELEC, mababago at mababago pa rin yan kapag ang mismong ang officials ng COMELEC ay may access or have the keys to open it. Magiging bulag pa rin ba tayo, ilang beses na kasi nangyari yung ganong eksena at ang nakakahiya pa don is during 1st day of election pa nagkakaproblema. Knowing COMELEC, hindi nila lalagyan ng maximum security yan dahil they need to back up all of the infos na natatanggap ng server.

You've already stated the answer have a concrete server as an Improvement. Another improvement that you already stated is to charge that certain government agency and have a better agency. How sure are you that it was comelec have the trust Issue?  If you don't then let is not talk about that. It was actually the smartmatic had that problem maybe let's also consider that there are some from the COMELEC. You can check that Smartmatic issue about the PCOS on any news site just search for Glenn Chong as the lawyer of the said case. Based on my work experience the main functionality when it comes to this kind of system should always be the security and hindi mo kailangan mag decrease ng security codes mo just to have the backup.

The failure na sinasabi mo mate is from the machine itself not from the system. Therefore pde rin mangyari na palpak ang computer na i provide ng Comelec if ever. What else can we expect made from china devices.

What's funny is that kahit na sabihin pa natin na through blockchain process ang system kung before palang na pasa sa process ng blockchain ang said votes ay nag karuon na ng katiwalian everything that you are trying to proposed is still useless.

Kung nabasa mo yung post ko talaga, it's very easy to vote in an actual computer than shadign kasi don magcliclick ka lang kung sino ang mga iboboto mo, nothing complex. Kung sa paglagay nga ng paper, merong assistant para ma-scan yung mga votes mo, syempre meron din for the computers.
Mas easy talaga mate but when it comes to basicality shading parin tlga. kailangan mo lng mag hold ng pen unlike using a computer in which it alteast requires you to have basic knowledge in using a mouse which  actually takes atleast several minutes for an average filipino person na mang2 to understand.

Sa pag provide pa nga lng ng proper pen for shading bagsak na gobyerno natin provide mo pa ng Personal Computer? It only require one machine using the current voting system. If you insist on that system that you proposed that might require the government na mag allocate ng mas maraming machine and I can personally say that they can't do that.

Hindi naman gagawa yung botante or the filipino voters ng blockchain mismo eh, those intellectual tech specialist ang gagawa ng blockchain and syempre pag nagawa, boboto lang tayo with a user-friendly platform na may blockchain. Hindi na manual shading at mas madali. You thought tayo ang gagawa ng blockchain nung sinabi kong "matagal ng napapagaralan yan", I'm just referring to those tech specialist  Cheesy. Also, kung tatanungin mo pa kung posible yung blockchain, YES kasi naging project study na siya dito sa amin, completely done and ang purpose niya is for data sa university, nabanggit ko rin yun sa thread ko.

Explaining blockchain is very easy, even my parents, nung nag-start ako mag btc, they understand it well kahit na hindi naman mataas yung na-attain nilang education basta magaling yung nag-eexplain, goods yon, what more sa iba pa? Ang problema kasi dito sa Pilipinas, masyadong nali-limit yung learnings na ibinabahagi, pero honestly speaking, if we have a better education, sobrang talino ng mga Pinoy. Kaya I know they will understand how blockchain works.

And paulit ulit kong sinasabi na pinaghahandaan yan, di naman yan i-iimplement agad agad hahaha. Di naman ata stupid ang government for deploying a complex system at baka mas lalong mahirapan pa. They should be ready on it, pero admit it sobrang helpful ng blockchain sa mga ganitong bagay.

Am I saying na hindi possible? that is actually a great idea. What I was trying to say is that it does not fit to our community. Mind that you are talking on behalf sa university level na. Well cguro hindi naman base lng sa level ng educational attainment na susukat ang level ng pag unawa ng isang tao. Bakit hindi mo muna kaya i try sa walang pinag aralan tlga ang bagay na iyan then give me feedback. Wag ka muna mag bigay ng hypothesis for now since you've only tried it sa iyong parents. Knowing the fact na magaling ka mag turo cause your parents understood it.

Hindi nga stupid ang government pero sa simpling voting system nga san damukal na kapalpakan na and mind you mate pinag aralan at pinaghandaan pa nila yan ha. What can expect pa kaya of their performance for this said system na as we all know na mas complex.

Read my topic, government will implement seminars about this. Lahat yan magagawan ng paraan if interesado talaga ang government and I think hindi stupid ang government to implement this ng bigla bigla without reviewing. I'm not comparing myself to others, Andami kong sinabi sa taas na ways kung hindi ka nakapag NAT/NCAE, there are seminars, online tutorials, and may TV tutorials. People can read and write, wag mong sabihing hindi nakakapagbasa at nakakapagsulat ang mga filipino voters, dun palang posible na kasi maiintindihan naman nila yun kasi malamang sa malamang user-friendly platform ang gagawin para makaboto. Ang dami kong binanggit pero parang pino-point out mo na sinasabi ko lang 'to because I have the learnings? attacking me even I stated all the "options" na pwedeng gawin. I still have faith in the filipinos na magiimprove pa tayo kahit sobrang toxic na ng iba sa atin.

I did read and fully understood your topic, now have you understood may point of view sa bagay na yan? Sabi ko nga dba sa simpleng shadding nga lang na may commercial tv ads pa palpak parin dahil d lahat naka intindi. How much more a much complex topics sa seminar?

Yup hindi nga stupid ang government but stating the obvious palpak ang system and how they implement things.
Then iisahin natin ang given options mo.
Seminars - iilang tao lng kaya pupunta? at sa pupunta iilang tao lng kaya makakaintindi?
Online tutorials - mga kabataan lng at mga computer literate lng ang makakapanuod at d mo pa sure if lahat naka intindi
Tv ads- nagawa na nila to sa simpling shadding and yet marami paring hindi alam pano proper way of shading.

Therefore all options that you have stated is not efficient.

why did you judge me based on my statements? I'm just a poor boy with wide perspective and nacoconsider ko lahat ng factors kaya ko sinasabi ito. I'm just studying in a state u, free tuition ang nagdadala sakin, that's why bumabawi ako sa government, I'm suggesting this things kasi may pinag-aralan ako. All of us can study in state u, may mga state u na ang focus is arts if you're not very good at critical and logical thinking, may mga state u naman na ang focus is business. Ang daming state u na pwedeng mag-bloom yung learnings mo kaya lahat posibleng makapag-aral kung magsisipag. therefore, lahat posible mangyari if interesado at gagawan ng paraan, ang idea lumalawak lalo na kapag interesado kang gawin ang isang bagay.

You have a good intellectual capacity so don't get me wrong, your statement is not for poor thing it's for idiot proof thing mate. Based on your statement kasi you think na other people have the same intellectual capacity kasi as you do or closer to you. Again that was my "opinyon" based on your statement. Again you have a good suggestion so don't get me wrong. Kailangan mo lng isipin na this perspective of mine can help your study.

That is how a study should be right? To solve the problem isn't it?

Quote
If you really read the topic, machines have a high failure rate compare sa algorithm.
I don't want to have a circular discussion, kasi bumabalik lang tayo sa mga questions na answerable naman with my details.

I respect your opinion and be positive nalang po! Thanks for having a good discussion.  Wink
Again I do read your topic and please also read and understand my point towards it. Yes "machines" have a high failure rate compared sa algo. Pero blockchain algo requires a machine isn't it? therefore it also has a high failure rate am I right or wrong?

Thank you for respecting my opinyon. This is why I love this forum.

That's why I hate filipino culture kasi masyadong pinopoint out yung mga negative effects ng isang bagay, kaya walang nagiging confident magpahayag ng platform kasi laging napupuna.

Don't hate that certain culture mate that is reality. What you should hate about the filipino culture that I also do is how people react to those certain negativity. Also gusto lng kita i remind mate you are making a study here and a healthy criticism should not be considered as negativity.

Dahil kung may panel ka for sure gigisahin ka at yan ang gusto ko i turo sayo. Cguro nga ay dahil nag aaral kapa kay hindi mo pa masyadong gets. A tip lng kasi gusto kita at malaki ang potential mo.

In the real business mate this is really what is going to happened to you mas worse pa if American or Austrilian ang amo mo. I have been in the IT industry for 2 years and mas malala pa na pang gigisa ang na experienced ko after proposing my own system. and Again dahil nga pinoy tayo masyado ko seneryoso mga criticism nila sakin and quit my job that is why I am teaching you some learnings from my experiences so don't get it wrong peace and have a great life ahead.
