361  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Mungkahi para sa 2019 senatorial candidate on: May 16, 2019, 06:29:13 AM
Nope sa mga tumakbo ngaun there is no single senator na nag bigay ng interest with regards to new technology.

Karamihan dyan sa mga nanalo for sure mag focus sa main problems and currently bitcoin or crypto right now is the the priority.  Dapat maging thankful muna tayo ngaun dahil maluwag ang Batas sa atin
362  Other / Meta / Re: Vod is abusing his merit source position to give 50 merit to his supporters on: May 16, 2019, 05:12:43 AM

HAHAHAHAHAHAH. BTW you might want to wipe that brown from your nose.

Done wiping , now what's the difference?

~

I was actually referring to OP by that statement. Vod obviously did sent the 50 merit willingly and if the reason behind that is him being removed as a sourced then there is nothing wrong about that.  It is pretty obvious that OP is trying to add up on Vod's issue and this is pretty nonsense.

363  Other / Meta / Re: Vod is abusing his merit source position to give 50 merit to his supporters on: May 16, 2019, 03:37:54 AM
I still support him anyways if that is his way getting removed from being a source then be it.

This only means that Vod isn't interested being at the top (that is what a real man does).

Edit: Still a much worthy member in this forum tho than you actually do
364  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano mo ipapaliwanag? on: May 16, 2019, 02:36:18 AM
Simply educate them the Do's and Dont's, ito pa pinaka malupit sabihin mo sa kanila rekta na this is not an easy money scheme kaya wag kayo mag pa loko madami ng nalugmok sa industriyang to dahil sa pag ka ignorante and I don't want you to be part of them. Bago kayo pumasok you should have to be ready of losing everything you put into and be sure to understand what you are going into.

I'll be doing it by not creating videos that actually does not get the interest of some users. I do it by word of mouth by that being said you can make sure na kaya mo handle all their questions and expectations. That is more important because you have the real interactions minsan kasi hindi ma intidihan ng ibang tao ang explainatory videos.

I would rather let 1 people understands what he is about to take than a million views that no one have understood(I am not saying tho na bad idea ang self explainatory video) I just felt na a peer to peer speach is much better dahil pag na intidinhan ng taong pinag sabihan mo about it pde nya din sabihin yun sa ibang tao
365  Other / Meta / Re: DT1 member lovesmayfamilis BAN on: May 15, 2019, 01:13:28 PM
I changed the ban to 60 days and a signature ban of a year.

Thank you very much. I am also very grateful to everyone who supported me. I will surely survive this moment and continue the fight with the hated scams.

Congrats, but wait you should first understand what you have done wrong before focusing onto something else ( I am not so sure how does that happened but that was an obvious act of plagiarism.

Focusing on the scamming issues won't be a good reason to forget the other forum's mortal sin, Goodluck to your next journey and continue to grow as a good individual
366  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Union Bank To Launch Peso Stable Coin (UPHP) on: May 15, 2019, 12:40:33 PM
This is actually a  good move by Union bank and this can be a good alternative sa peso, especially if mabilis ang confirmation sa said stablecoin. Aside from that magandang opportunity ito sa mga pinoy crypto users (hopefully meron ding mining structure sa said token) That will help us mine for certain coins na friendly sa current rate sa pinas ang ibig ko sabihin is hindi na natin kailangan mag adjust sa globabl market.

We have to be very careful tho, Union bank is backed by Chinese Investors kaya mahahalata mo tlga na alam nila ang ginagawa nila. By that being said, baka kasi maisipan ng pinoy na mas maganda ito gamitin kesa sa FIAT. What's scary about that ay baka mag karuon cla ng power to control the philippine economy.
367  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion about the Merit System on Airdropped Merits. on: May 15, 2019, 10:47:17 AM
Something like merit per post rate: 0.01 is enough. It means users have to earn at least 1 merits for each-100 posts they made. So, let's move further and assume that a user only made 1 post per 2 days, after 2 years that user will made around 365 posts. For such 365 posts, that user have to earn at least 365 x 0.01 merit per post = 3.65 merits ~ 4 merits.
or 10 merits for 1000 posts
I don't think it is a big matter, if users are not spammers.  Roll Eyes

Something is same as when a professor from university retired, he or she won't be able to hold the title professor of university A, B, C for all-dear-life. It only lasts for a fixed number of years.

Even so, That can still not guarantee some of the old members who are not so active able to earn such posts for that certain span of time. Well at some point that might be good I am just taking some considerations here.

That's the point you based on a professors point of view while I do refer it to a military veteran and that's a whole different interpretation
368  Other / Politics & Society / Re: capitalism and democracy destined to split appart on: May 15, 2019, 08:22:47 AM
Daniel91 is right , why would you even compare an economic system to a government arrangement or system. A democratic country can have capitalistic approach towards their economy.

Bitcoin on the other hand is obviously a capitalistic approach of economic system based on its definition.
Allowing individuals full control over their assets and crypto is a very good example of it
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop chasing the "next" bitcoin on: May 15, 2019, 04:04:03 AM
Well, I still do prefer bitcoin than a sh*tcoin, It's the ignorance that killing the people , that is how life goes tho there are a lot of people who would love to take risks not even thinking where would that take them and mostly it's the poor people (hopping that their luck will come but more likely ended up swimming on  mud)

Yet still this can be a common sense if you do not want to chase the "next" bitcoin then better yet stay away from the other "next" sh*tcoins as well.
370  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion about the Merit System on Airdropped Merits. on: May 15, 2019, 02:48:37 AM
Clarifying a little bit, demotions should categorise forum users into two groups:
- Inactive users: They are inactively in the forum at least one year, maybe a continously 12 months or separate ones; and they don't actively posting in the
last 12-month-period. Because, if we don't define the term inactive users well, we might mis-categorise users whom simply login their accounts, but don't make a single post.
- Active users: They are actively both log-in their accounts, and actively posting during last 12-month-period.
Demotions should aim at the second group of active users, because it is a big joke if you are actively post 1000 post last 12-month-period and don't earn a single merit.
For inactive users, they can maintain their ranks.

Therefore you should have to put a certain standards to how much posts a certain user does and yet doesn't still received any merits. Tho, I still am against the idea of demoting a user because of not receiving any merits (If that's the case we should no longer include the activity and the longevity of the certain accounts as a requirements of being promoted).

Why Am I against it? because Merit System is far from a great system as of the moment and has a lot of holes and abused ( that would sound so unfair for a regular poster who don't do spam yet posting a neutral posts that doesn't actually deserves to be merited being demoted. Then there are this users who actively trading merits and gains the benefits unethically).

So before we proposed for certain standards we have to make sure first that the system we were referring is good enough and can do it's job fairly. We should accept that there are certain people who don't posts really good yet still contributed to this community.
371  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Climate change: Scientists test radical ways to fix Earth's climate on: May 15, 2019, 01:55:46 AM
What the heck this people are actually doing. Why would they complicate such things when the easiest and safest way of fighting this changes is purely discipline.

It should be and individual effort such as planting trees stop using plastics and do clean up drives. Aside from the fact that this can be a failure it will be just a waste of fundings.
372  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion about the Merit System on Airdropped Merits. on: May 15, 2019, 12:59:25 AM
There is actually no point, some of this old members aren't that active right now in the forum yet have contributed  from the forum alot before.

Therefore some of them deserves the certain benefits of being a hero member. Why would we take that from them?

It is like taking the wwII veterans deserving benefits for their contributions for the reason of they are no longer active of their services
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 14, 2019, 07:46:01 AM
Bucks can dominate if they can stop Leonard, in game 7 against the sixers, Leonard scored 41 points, bucks needs to limit that scoring.
I would like to see the first game before making a judgement.

Based on the stats given by the NBA , for the current season bucks is on the top of the list when it comes to defensive end therefore it wouldn't be too hard for them to make Leonard's life horrible.

Blazers played a team game, not a one man game like the rockets style.
Being an underdog in the series will give them more motivation, let's see how Lillard will play against the great of warriors.
I also believe the usual big time players of Blazers will step up more, CJ, Rodney, and Kanter.

Blazers indeed plays a team game, but the warriors also do aren't they? If I would try to imagine all the big time players of Blazers stepping up and the same thing also goes to GSW (The power house still is so scary). Durant and Curry can easily dominate the scoring if they fired up what can the Blazers exactly do?
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 14, 2019, 06:32:21 AM
I think this year is too good for Bucks, They've been constantly dominating their opponents for this season. Raptors tho is having some issues with regards to their players I am currently seeing Bucks will also dominates the East conference finals,.

On the other hand GSW is still the power house here, let's see how would Blazers do to defeat the power house team.
375  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BTC challenge on: May 14, 2019, 04:18:28 AM
Well I think it depends on your goal or sa mga bagay na gusto mong ma achieve kaya gusto mo mag save ng bitcoin.

That is exactly the point mate, if you are saving for your need you should not take your money at risk. Ikaw na nga mismo nag sabi bitcoin price fluctuates what if you highly needs the money then the bitcoin price suddenly goes down? will that help you sustain your needs? No it doesn't.

Unlike saving it at a more stable platform in which you get the same amount.

What are you actually saying is an investment and mind that ibang category yan (yes you can use that one someday if the value is good enough but what if not? then your investment  will fail) Therefore you really can't or should not really on saving bitcoin for your future needs. Instead it will only be an option (comeone guys we know how bitcoin works are we?)

Don't put all your efforts sa bigay na hindi ka sigurado make sure to put some also on a more stable services or assets.
376  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BTC challenge on: May 14, 2019, 01:49:59 AM

There is nothing wrong namn sa na isip mo you buy coins instead of rewarding yourself. Why not try this para nman hindi mo masyado kinicrave sarili mo, rewarding yourself lalo na pag hard earn money mo yan is actually a good habit. That can keep you more productive in every work you do.

Just follow the principle of Warren Buffet as I quote
Quote
“Do not save what is left after spending, but spend what is left after saving.” - Warren Buffet

By that principle and with your idea, you simply buy a coin after mo kumita and if merong sobra na enough naman for that things that you want then go buy it. Malaking psychological effect din kasi na masyado ka na stress sa kaka save.

Look at the japanese people masyado cla sub2 mag trabaho and yet they are most of the saddest people on earth. You don't live to just save and work you should work to live.

This is the most important thing to save money in the future, you need to choose first the needs before the wants. At ito palagi ang naririnig ko nsa aking mga magulang para makatipid at the same time makaipon na rin. Mas mahalaga talaga ang needs kay sa wants kaya mas dapat mo itong unahin.

You can analyze the image below.

Now, you know how to budget money.

Then if you are talking about saving for future needs. Buying bitcoin is a bad Idea ( save mo nlng sa bank) In my opinion OP is trying to save money to buy coin for his future wants like buying the things that he wants like a car or magarang house and that is not a need that is purely a thing that people wants.
377  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: May 14, 2019, 01:14:57 AM
Big risk depends on your self and big result depends on your luck. The combination of your self and your luck is a success. If your risky enough then there will be a greater chance for big result, than never trying at all. Your luck has a great dependence in your self. Yes, it might be difficult to invest your money without knowing what future lies, but of course being risky doesn't mean you have to pour a massive money. Just always think that if you failed atleast you have a little for you to continue more until you experience the big result.

Big risks truly depends on your self while big result "Does not depends on your luck". Simple logic if  you risk high the result is also big don't get the wrong idea either the result will be positive or negative.

if noticed, trading is almost the same as gambling (payout 1000x) haha. can profit big or can lose big.
thinking to buying coins at a cheap price with large capital when the coin experiences a very high price increase and then we will get a huge profit, and vice versa.

Nope the only similarity of this is that both are risky but still unlike skill based gambling in trading you can't predict the market outcome. Gambling is set to be on a fast paced it's a 50 -50 situation while in trading you ain't gonna lose something until you make a trade
378  Other / Meta / Re: You are searching too quickly. Reduce search 90 seconds limit? on: May 13, 2019, 01:17:48 PM
I still remember that days hmm, tho I completely understood that one of the main reason that it was implemented aside from the reason that there was an attack before is that the idea of being a new accounts should be involved more into reading than an interaction.

The logic behind this for me is that since you are still newbie, saying too much  or having the too much functions that you don't actually need is completely nonsense.

Consider yourself as a newborn child when you enter this forum and as a part of growing you will slowly understand features
379  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: May 13, 2019, 06:32:36 AM
This year I didn't get that much profits only thing I did was holding my investments , I hope all my patience will pay off next year and there will be bull market and I make more profits  Grin

many investors are in same hope only ?? I would like to know what you guys think about next year,

Start taking your profit by now that is a good run already. Then wait for a reset, but if you do hope still you might not be able to gain extra profit because who knows if this bull market will continue for a long period of time.

Tho, if waiting more time is fine with you then go ahead that's the good thing about bitcoin investment, you will never lose until you close a trade.
380  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: May 13, 2019, 05:40:16 AM
Of course and that is just a simple common sense for almost all type of business. If you want to gain more you should risk more and only few are daring to do it because the side effect of those will also be a massive loss if you fail.

Life tho is all about taking chances if you do then you will surely succeed and if you don't then you will likely stay on whatever situation you were in
