1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2016, 07:47:25 PM
No absolute disadvantage that bitcoin really does have right now. What is good for some users arent that good for others. The only thing right now is i think the adoptation. We let us grow the seed that the future life forms food to eat
1662  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market? on: December 06, 2016, 07:39:56 PM
I see it as a very good event for bitcoin adoption
this will not only add an option to pay with bitcoins for you favorite games, but, possibly make young gamers who are not familiar with bitcoin
interested in that weird B shaped symbol that you can pay for your games with hence increasing cryptocurrency audience among the youngsters

As i do purchase steam credits, I also let those kids purchase steam credits on me. We usually know that steam wallet codes are too costly. Unlike paying directly with btc in which you dont have to worry about the added value
1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Economic Nobel prize for Satoshi Nakamoto on: December 06, 2016, 07:11:16 PM
We have to know who Satoshi is first before we can give him an award Grin

Before Nakamoto could get his award, he might just found dead first lol. Nakamoto is truly a genius geeks in terms of technology but he remain silence until now so probably we could easily assumed that he does not care for that award lol(he cares more of his life)

I don't think anybody knows who is the creator of Bitcoin. Probably not even his family. Every business has allies and enemies. In this case, this person/group's enemies are most governments around the world, except if it was created by a government itself and they disguised it into this "Satoshi Nakamoto". Imagine the risks you would have to assume as soon as you would prove that you are the owner of Bitcoin.

I am pretty sure that there is really someone who help nakamoto in this journey. I'm pretty sure of that, he may found a team to work with (anonymously) Other thing is that IMO no one owns bitcoin itself but it was founded by someone(nakamoto obviously)

1665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can you stand alone? on: December 06, 2016, 07:35:33 AM
Things that the current bitcoin ecosystem depends on to survive right now:

Nodes
Miners
Exchanges
Fiat
Internet
Noobs
Bitcoin news outlets
Alt coins
Promotions

Some are obviously more important than others but nonetheless they are a part of what bitcoin is today.

Could it ever be independent and self sufficient?

Sometimes it just seems like a black hole that will forever need more and more resources to survive.

1,2,5 is obviously the primary things that bitcoin has without those bitcoin is obviously nothing.

Exchanges and Fiats, each currency does need other currency for stability. Bitcoin does not owned by one country so obviously you are going to convert them to fiat whether you'll like it or not.

The other things that youve stated IMO is not necessary.
I think you have your own perspective about bitcoin. I will just be ending you a

1666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Italy Wants to Treat Bitcoin as Currency And Tax It on: December 05, 2016, 07:21:59 PM
What I currently seeing right now is that if Italy added taxes to bitcoin which bitcoin already do has fees then it would really be a great pain on the pockets of the bitcoin users from Italy. We are already having a hard time  to deal on our taxes how much more if it has added fees?
1667  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cointelegaph was publishing scam promotion. on: December 04, 2016, 04:53:43 PM
This is not a surprise at all for a blog site. Special those who accept pay per review. Yet this is not of course applicable for all bloggers(yet a very good of gaining people interest in your blog is to put some tactics in writing those). I've done being payed too review as site before and different client would always have different perspective(and you will just have to do your job). It is your choice at all if you do want to do it with ethical values or not.
1668  Other / Meta / Re: did you agree moderator need to controlling signature managers on: November 30, 2016, 05:29:48 PM
Well obviously, A moderator is moderating a thread regardless of who are you(campaign manager you were talking) Although there were few campaign managers who's a moderator as well(eg. lauda to be specific). Some moderator can still moderate other campaign managers like lutpin and yahoo because as we all know they should still have to follow rules and their actions would be judged by some of the moderators where were they posting the topic. On the part of lauda obviously it is still not guaranteed for abused  as well because other mods can easily report him to the administrators or the moderator can still surely see it.

Now the lesson here is that they still are not the highest rank users on this forum and any abused that was seen by the administrator will surely be not tolerated(it is about trust on the highest member ranks to take proper actions and yes i do). Other thing is that if you have complains about them report them to the administrator and make sure to bring your evidences to make a proper jurisdiction as well or else you would look hilarious(andco -- lol it was actually i joke wakaka).
1669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM on: November 30, 2016, 04:28:11 PM
Well actually bitcoin ATM in our place is not even considered for now because obviously most of us doesn't know this currency that much(no idea rather) but fortunately buying and cashing out your bitcoin is not that hard thanks to that one service in our place it is actually an exchanger but more that they provide quality service as well. We can easily buy bitcoin to a dept store that we call (711) there was this machine there that is quite similar to atm but it is only for buying bitcoin. On the other hand we can still use the atm to withdraw our bitcoin it is called egivecash(cardless atm)
1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Europe wants to ban blockchain technology? on: November 30, 2016, 12:50:11 PM
Well,I am not from a europian country. This may sound's bad for all who were in Europe but i also believe that if this action would really be implemented it can cause them a lot of trouble especially if the other countries instead adopts bitcoin. The flow will just continue around the world.
1671  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Campaign Ettiquette(Signature, twitter, facebook, or any other type) on: November 28, 2016, 06:05:53 AM
You also should be loyal to the company you applied to work for. Users that leave a campaign because they see another one start that offers .002btc per week more are not users ill be looking to keep hiring. If you apply to a campaign and are accepted, you should try to stick around til you're paid for that week. Then it's acceptable to leave.

If you plan on leaving a campaign, you should either post in the campaign thread you're leaving, or send the manager a message out of respect.

This is the common thing that happens most of the time in my  opinion. It almost happen to me as well, well as showing of respect i really do agree that we should tell the manager that we will be leaving the campaign. Yet most of us do quit even if the round does not end yet(not to mention when some big company throw a campaign service last few weeks)
1672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Economy in China? on: November 28, 2016, 05:42:48 AM
Well, Chinese in the first place was really an opportunity seeker and when the saw bitcoin as one of it, they started bringing it up plus i guess they have a huge support from the government and that what i was always trying to say that if the other countries government will just do the same as china does then this things are surely not happening right now.
1673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wow ,almost 30,000 unconfirmed trans on: November 23, 2016, 05:08:04 PM
Does it gives that reasonable doubt about those speculation before that thse 50% of the mining power is on the centralized area?(you know what i already mean lol i just dont want to point out)

Could it be the massive control of the said mining power on a single area?
Experts do talk about it
1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remittances Using Bitcoin on: November 23, 2016, 04:39:23 PM
It's funny indeed. However the KYC terror imposed by governmental control freaks will surely reduce the number of people actually doing it. Of course it might still be possible to privately sell BTC against fiat cash, if fiat cash is available...

In my view Bitcoin will only succeed if fiat is taken out of the equation in the long term. Converting BTC to fiat is destroying all advantages of Bitcoin by adding costs, surveillance and centralized control over funds that could flow without such restrictions. this is especially true for most remittance applications. What we need is a closed-loop Bitcoin economy, where bitcoin are no longer converted to fiat anymore, but directly spent for goods and services by the receiver. That would eliminate all risks associated with conversion practices and show the full power of Bitcoin on a global and local scale.

ya.ya.yo!

I think that it isnt funny at all, but you are right about the kyc control but i think as well that it is not the main objective of this current move. As take closer to it. This is much more of a slowly taking process and this move is to remove current process of western union as stated above
1675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much would you have now if you bought btc instead of your first smartphone? on: November 23, 2016, 04:01:04 PM
What happened to me was actually the vice versa of your statement. I recently just bought my new smart phone for $200 and all of that $200 was basically all from my bitcoin earnings.

Lets no go back to the topic probably if i did not bought phone so i proably has $200 worth of bitcoin as of yesterday
1676  Economy / Services / Re: Need Partners - High Profit Easy Money on: November 20, 2016, 04:03:07 AM
It seems like there is a lot of information to hide so you will only be told via PM and you decide if it's something your comfortable in doing, that is why I also want to find out what kind of business it is before I consider doing it.

Well, If it is something to hide in the first place there is surely another aim for this project and i supposed it is not a positive one. Plus anyone that try to make a good business try to at least share the abstract of the proposed project.

It gets suspicious when you don't share the products you are selling, digital products or not. In fact the OP is using a bad marketing idea since here because if he talks freely here the request to cooperate with him will be much higher if he is selling legal digital goods. If he wants US, UK and Australia accounts to sell I am guessing that the OP wants to sell Windows Keys or COA stickers throughout this accounts and make really huge profit. I don't know if this is legal to do but thats just where my mind goes.

This is far from what you currently think you don't even know the project yet and i  doubt  that this is all about selling a digital goods because it could easily be done in the auction or on the goods section itself.

I am a bit confused about the difference of moderator and staff. Well a moderator is obviously moderates that certain category but are  they not staff as well? Anyways back to the topic i  think as well that this is a good  way to at least find a remedy what is currently happening.
1679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: November 16, 2016, 07:50:41 PM
Agreed. Bitcoin revolves around it's system of a public ledger. What use is this when no one's using it? Storing bitcoin is just in the hope of the price going up. But if everyone does this, then the price will just go down.
if people holding bitcoin, the supply will be decreased, if the amount of people who holding bitcoin increasing day by day automatically the supply will be decreased day by day and will result the demand not fulfilled so the price increase that's how thing works
That is how i also think but bitcoin should also circulates in the market to prove its existence , because i think when no one uses it because all stores it would be useless
That is how things  work yes, but if all people hoard bitcoins, some will just forget about it and move on to another digital currency that is available in the market.  And that is how system work.  If the main aim isn't available, people tend to get the next available target.  Then all people taking the 2nd available coins, in due time this coin will surpass the unused  hoarded bitcoin.

Luckily the support that bitcoin is currently getting from the industry is i think almodt the 100%. even if people would say that they love this certain alt currencies they still got their bitcoin shares.
1680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 16, 2016, 07:07:02 PM
Bitcoin is bitcoin, a real money(fiat) is a real money(fiat) and from that you can easily identify their difference. Choose bitcoin if you wan't to go far from the traditional way of payment(eg. easier transactions especially when it do involves outside the country, Decentralization, A potential global currency). Then try to differentiate those to the traditional currency features that we currently have.
