682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: February 13, 2018, 07:48:00 AM
White paper provides substantial information on the project like its vision or plan, technology, the track record of the core team, the problems it want to solve and token implementation. It must contain all the necessary information about the upcoming project and the ICO. If you are planning to join an ICO, you need to became investigative in any kind of investment offering before making a final decision.
683  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit not for sale! on: February 13, 2018, 06:25:04 AM
Instead of buying or selling a merit, it's better to practice improving your posts so you can gain merits in the future. Acquiring merits through quality posts is a sign that you are really not just want to make profits in this forum but also to contribute for improving the standard of posting to a higher level.
684  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there any good news about Bitcoin from your country? on: February 13, 2018, 05:58:51 AM
The good news here in my country is that the interest for investing in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies continue to increase and many of them are already bought bitcoins while the price is still lower. The bitcoin here is not yet legalize but the government will not prohibit its people from using bitcoin in online transaction. Another good news is that some companies here is planning to allow bitcoin as alternative payment for their online transactions.
685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: February 12, 2018, 07:47:29 AM
Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money?

It is not possible unless a government allow the bitcoin first to be use as a legal tender or approved by the central bank to be one of the main currency. Internet availability in the far flunged areas should be also address to make bitcoin accessible. You can not successfully implement a plan like replacing conventional money by bitcoin if the technological infrastructure in your area is poor. Modernization take time so it is not yet possible in the near future.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: February 12, 2018, 06:20:36 AM
Being one of the top performing cryptocurrencies last year and managed to reach some all-time highs, some crypto analysts predicts eteherum will going to surpass bitcoin by 2019.
Ethereum had a great potential to reach new price level that could surpass bitcoin with its many ongoing developments and dapps. But that prediction is remain to be seen because as we all know that predicting a highly volatile market like cryptocurrencies is tougher than any markets like stocks and forex.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is hodling alts dangerous? on: February 12, 2018, 05:51:21 AM
Avoid lesser known and not widely-used cryptocurrencies, there is always a possibility of risk. It may later turn to scam or the developer or creator may just use the currency  to create a pump and dump coin. Some are only created the coins to earn money and victimizes a lot of would be investors. An altcoin that created with many flaws will not last long and it will eventually cease to exist.
688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If bitcoin is gone will the other coin survive? on: February 12, 2018, 03:14:54 AM
Some of the coins will survive, others will eventually die. Many established altcoins can function independently from bitcoin and can make their price continue to rise up even bitcoin is down. Strong and continuing support is needed to make any coin stable and I think the life of every cryptocurrency is not tied up to bitcoin because most are made independently. But if the blockchain technology in which the coins are based failed, then all cryptocurrencies will surely be gone.
689  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: February 12, 2018, 01:00:19 AM
Bitcoin's capability to make deep changes will happen only if it is become fully used in mainstream. The blockchain technology can reduce corruption in the government if they allow it to use by different branches or departments.
Cryptocurrency money is said to be fully traceable by anyone because identities can be verified by ongoing process of encryption. To completely gain the benefits of cryptocurrency, government should use cryptocurrency in funding any public projects instead of fiat to make it secure.
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: February 11, 2018, 12:16:36 PM
Diversify instead of buying only a single cryptocurrency. Ethereum is known to be one of the promising coin to watch in the coming months  but there are still a dozen of coins that could match ethereum performance and you can find them in the coinmarketcap. You should include bitcoin because it is best suited for long term investment and there is always a possibility of another all-time high in the last quarter of the year.
691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why almost everybody suggest to hold? on: February 11, 2018, 10:32:41 AM
Hodl is always considered as the best strategy for long term profit. It is used also by some well-known and successful businessmen/traders in the stock markets. It is also proven useful in cryptocurrency trading and many bitcoin users who use to buy the coin at lower price and hold it till the price go high. When coin prices are going down, try not to overcome by panic selling, hodl and remain calm. Hodling can also risky and be sure to buy only coin that have the potential to grow in the future.
692  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: February 11, 2018, 08:06:26 AM
It means more and more people around the world are supporting and buying bitcoins. The continuing dominance of bitcoin are also result of a bitcoin community's continued demand for more bitcoin.
693  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: February 11, 2018, 07:26:03 AM
Japan is the first country to legalized bitcoin not only for trading purposes but also for transaction or payment because it is also allowed as a legal tender. Other countries are still planning their steps on what to do with the cryptocurrencies and its exchanges. Some of the countries like China and South Korea are planning to impose a stricter regulations to control the use of bitcoin. Legalizing bitcoin will take time in many countries who use to control their own currency.
694  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the biggest changes in your life caused by Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2018, 10:46:35 AM

695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Valentine's Day affect BTC? on: February 10, 2018, 05:49:50 AM
There is no spending spree for this kind of holiday unlike major holidays like christmas and new years where many bitcoin holders spend a lot of money. But if all lovers possess a large amount of bitcoins then spend them all in valentine's day, then it will surely affect the price of the bitcoin. After valentines, it will be followed by chinese new year and a possible price downtrend might happen.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Big in Japan on: February 10, 2018, 02:19:37 AM
Bitcoin trade in Japan is big, it accounts for almost half of the global trade volume. The country is now said to be the new heart of bitcoin since it recognized bitcoin as a legal form of currency. Most of the japanese are open-minded and knew the benefits that bitcoin may give once they accept it one of their aternative currency. Many merchants are now using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their business and one company is even planning to use bitcoin as a form of salary.
697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: February 08, 2018, 11:24:38 PM
I saw many traders expresses disappoinment during price correction or dip of the coin they bought. Some of them bought their coins during the price uptrend and they expected it to rise more, only to fall in the following day. Disappointment is seem to be part of trader's life especially to those deals with cryptocurrency trading. Cryptocurrency trading is the most volatile of all trading but it is more profitable than stock trading and forex.
698  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your opinion about the fall of bitcoin on: February 08, 2018, 10:52:36 PM
There's nothing strange about bitcoin's correction in this early part of the year. This kind of price fall happens annually and is unavoidable because of bitcoin's high volatility. Bitcoin have already suffered some of it worst price crashes in the past but it always managed to come back strong and reached many all-time highs later. No matter how deep is the fall, bitcoin always find way to climb back to the top.
699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I Invest in Bitcoin in 2018? on: February 08, 2018, 12:01:15 PM
The best time to invest is last week when bitcoin is almost down to $5000, but now the price is already up by $8000. The bullish mood seems to be back but it might be a bulltrap. Bitcoin will continue to lead in crypto investments and demand for the leading cryptocurrency will continue to increase. Better to invest now while the price is still lower.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought on all time high on: February 08, 2018, 06:59:50 AM
You can still recover your losses if you bought your coin during all-time high but it takes time. All you need is to be patient all the times while waiting for the of coin to go up again. But there is always the choice to sell it and buy another good coin that is cheaper and if the price of that coin go up in the future, you will surely recover your loss from the previous coin you bought earlier.
