561  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sudden Price Drop! What's going on with the Market? on: May 12, 2018, 09:17:46 AM
Few days back I was this close to buying BTC when it was around 10k, but halted for some reasons. Now I see the price is around 8.6k and I wonder why the sudden downwards trend! I see no major news out there (or maybe the statements of mr. buffet and gates?). What could be the reason and how dip the price can go?

According to some, some possible reasons behind the present bitcoin dump are: The korea exchange upbit fud; CME gap of 8550; whales accumulations closer to Concensus investors explosion and another Mt. Gox news on transfer of 8200 to another wallet. Whatever the reasons, bitcoin can always go back to higher price in the coming days.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN or ETHEREUM? on: May 12, 2018, 09:04:13 AM
Etherium will resume its uptrend once bitcoin price start to go up again. I had investment in bitcoin and ethereum and I believe that they both profitable in long term. As of now, the two coins are in downtrend due to negative factors affecting the bitcoin. But this dip is only temporary and it is normal, the two will recover soon.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too complicated for ordinary folks? on: May 11, 2018, 06:55:30 AM
Many people will not be to able understand bitcoin if their minds are already closed to any kinds of mdern technology like digital currencies and online transactions and the others are too lazy to learn. Only those who are genuinely interested in learning new things like cryptocurrencies will understand it later. Learning what is cryptocurrency is not really easy for the beginners and they must be persistence in learning until they completely understand it. The use of bitcoin by some scammers will make it more complicated for the learners and someone should be able to explain to them clearly.
564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you all in when trading? on: May 10, 2018, 07:27:47 AM
If you are going all in for a coin then be sure that you prepared an effective trading strategy. All in is very risky and you might loss your entire investment in in a single trade but the more risks, the higher the gains. You need to be skilled in fundamental and technical analysis to be to win an all in trade.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will reach $1500 this year Says Reddit Co-Founder on: May 10, 2018, 07:07:41 AM
I think ethereum can reach $1500 to $2000 before the year end and it is more realistic than the forecasted price earlier which later corrected. As of now, ethereum is slowly inching up to higher price level but some price corrections are still expected to hamper its growth. Positive development on ethereum will help boost its price in coming days ahead.
566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach 20,000 again on: May 09, 2018, 01:34:37 PM
Reaching beyond $20k is still possible even there are many challenges that lies ahead. Bitcoin still enjoy large following than any other cryptocurrencies and more investors from different countries are still coming for the number one virtual currency.
567  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason people do not want to invest in crypto on: May 09, 2018, 12:46:19 PM
Majority of the people still prefer cash than the virtual currency and it will take time before they turn their interest into cryptocurrencies. A lot of people need to be educated first not only using virtual currency but on how they can maximize their internet usage. If every countries has a high internet literacy, they will be able to learn many aspects of cryptocurrency before investing on it.
568  Economy / Economics / Re: Can it be possible for the whole wide world use a single currency? on: May 08, 2018, 08:01:49 AM
The governments might not agree on a single currency if it is decentralized one because they effectjvely control it and it may harm them financially and economically because of its uncontrollable volatility. These governments might instead create a unified world currency that can be adopted by all parties and this one might be centralized like ripple.
569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Today $150 loss from storm coin in binance , now what i will do? please help on: May 07, 2018, 08:19:51 AM
If the coin you bought has the potential for future growth then hold it and wait for its price to bounce back. Falling prices is a part of every cryptocurrency and this will followed by price uptrend later. According to some report, storm has the potential for profitable long term earningso don't lose hope if its price goes down because it is only temporary.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Strategy: holding but trading on: May 07, 2018, 07:55:03 AM
Trading gives you quick profit but it is more risky than holding a coin. You need effective strategies to lessen your possible losses in your future trades. Learning those trading strategies will take time so it better to try long term investment. One of the most effective strategy, holding your coins will also reduce the risk of losing your investment in some unexpected price crashes.
571  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market fell sharply, what is going on? on: May 06, 2018, 01:50:59 PM
The market is falling sharply, I see signs of not healing, capitalization is withdrawn, should I continue to buy in the top 10 coin or should I pin down USDT and wait for new move?  Sad

This is still part of the market's up and cycle and nothing new. This market downtrend might be prolonged due to some negative factors that continues to affect the prices but this will be temporary. Presently, bitcoin price has briefly reached the $10k before it fell down to $9700 and this prove can go up anytime. If there are no negative factors in the days ahead, bitcoin will continue its uptrend.
572  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: May 06, 2018, 01:04:09 PM
Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Advanced countries might try to go cashless but it will take more years before they can fully implement it. There must be a hundred percent availability for the technology that will be use for implementing cashless transaction in the whole country to make it succeed. But cash might still be existing in the majority part of the world because people will not easily accept this kind of cashless transaction.
573  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks Won't Make You Rich on: May 05, 2018, 03:56:44 AM
Banks are use only for saving purposes and your money is destined to be keep there forever unless you put it in some investments. Time deposits and other investment funds can make your money grow but it will take time but the risk is lesser than investing in cryptocurrencies. If you have the skills in risk management, you can earn a lot of money in the high-risk cryptocurrency trading because the highef the risk, the higher the rewards.
574  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin plays a vital role in the economy on: May 05, 2018, 03:36:31 AM
Bitcoin opens many doors of new markets, which would affect the economy of a country, the reason why there are some countries who don't like bitcoin because cryptocurrency controlled by no one and because they don't get taxes. But if governments open there eyes and use bitcoin in its positive ways as possible you would be shocked that the third world countries who opens their gates on bitcoin will become one of the best countries we have ever seen.

This vital role will only realized if a government legalizes bitcoin and allow it to be one of their legal tenders. The mass adoption of bitcoin into mainstreams will also help improve the economy of a country. Japan for example allowed bitcoin to be used to lurchase any kind of goods whether it online or offline. Taxes from bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are becoming one of the main contributors to the government coffers.
575  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Criminals and Bitcoin on: May 05, 2018, 03:05:22 AM
Many countries have been looking for some effective ways to monitor individual or group that uses bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their trades. Monitoring the transfer or transaction of bitcoin is quite hard to do because of lack of advance technology to for bitcoin surveilance. Some governments have already resulted to imposing some strict regulations to prevent bitcoin and other cryptos from falling into the hands of illegal traders.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Ethereum on: May 05, 2018, 02:40:55 AM
Despite some issues, ethereum will continue to be one of the most promising coins in the future. Presently, ethereum continues to go up because of higher market demands which is projected to grow in the days ahead. More ethereum-based projects will also created even some of its competitors are gaining foothold in the markets.
577  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Trading When Red? on: May 03, 2018, 01:27:28 PM
Red is when it is time to buy the dip in anticipation of the rise. It provide an opportunity for the cryptocurrency investors or buyers to purchase coins at a lower price. Those who have already holding coins can still gains profits by waiting for their price to go up again instead of selling them while the entire market is in red.
578  Economy / Economics / Re: A government can create a cryptocurrency ? on: May 02, 2018, 01:03:08 PM
What do you think about this possibility ? Would you invest in your government currency ?

Some countries have already issued their own cryptocurrency like Venezuela and the others are also preparing to launch their virtual coins soon. Venezuela is trying to find a viable solution to their economic woes so they crafted their own government-issued cryptocurrency to help their economy. In the future, cryptocurrencies may become a major source of funds to some governments that has no enough funds to use.
579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: May 02, 2018, 12:40:05 PM
Try to find out first if you are really want to become a trader seriously and if you are determined to join the trading then be ready. Trading is always risky and there is a possiblity of losing your money so you must use only the amount you are ready to lose. To minimize your future losses, educate yourself first with adequate knowledge on trading and risk management.
580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you a full time trader or just part timer? on: April 27, 2018, 02:05:21 PM
I've been a part time trader and at the same time a long term hodler. I trade when I am not busy with my work but I also have plans to become full time trader in the future. Being a full time traderm it need a lot of preparation because it is one of the most riskiest business. I also hold some selected coins for long term because it need only minimal attention than full time trading.
