641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: March 13, 2018, 11:25:38 AM
Knowledge and profit are the reason why i am invested in bitcoin. I'm interested on how the bitcoin works and also how the blockchin technology is developed. 642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have many altcoins or it is enough to have few? on: March 12, 2018, 12:15:35 PM
If you have substantial funds to buy many altcoins then try to buy as many as you can. There are many potential coins in the coin market but you should try a little research first before you go on a buying binge. Choose only the promising coins that have the potential to grow many times in the futures. Invest and hold is still the best strategy for making a profit but trading is also profitable but it is more risky.
643  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrencies and our daily life on: March 11, 2018, 12:29:45 PM
If your bitcoin earning is already enough to meet your daily expenses then you can start using it in your daily life. Many users are also dreaming that someday they can make it big in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin. If you already invested some significant amount in bitcoin, just wait for its price to grow into a profitable level.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bitcoin has role to play in the future? on: March 11, 2018, 11:51:42 AM
This might be the reason why bitcoin is created and that role to be played in the future might be one of the greatest contribution of bitcoin in the world of virtual currencies and blockchain technology. If bitcoin becomes fully used into the mainstreams, many people would benefits from that virtual currency when it comes to online transactions and other kind of payments without the needs of banks.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you find your news? on: March 10, 2018, 11:11:38 AM
I gather informations on cryptocurrencies from social media like twitter and telegram. I also read some reliable online media for some important updates on blockchain and financial technology. I use the coinmarketcap and some exchanges for price updates. Our bitcointalk forum itself contains a huge wealth of information about cryptocurrencies and other related posts.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are your governments reacting to Bitcoin? on: March 09, 2018, 01:03:35 PM
Some central bank officials reacts favorably on the cryptocurrencies and at the same time warned people about some elements that use bitcoin to scam people. The officials eventually imposed some regulations on the crypto exchanges that currently operating in our country to protect the users from illegal means. There is also a report that the monetary authorities is studying the possibilities of legalizing cryptocurrencies in the future.
647  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Trading When Red? on: March 09, 2018, 12:34:40 PM
Not all investors are looking for the price of their cryptocurrencies to go up, some are waiting for the price to go down so they can buy cheaper coins. Red days are the best time to buy more coins for holding or for trading. When market recovers, many of these coins will eventually bounce back. It is difficult to trade during red days, the risk is high and during this time it is better to hodl than to sell while the price is falling.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i late to buy bitcoin now ?? on: March 08, 2018, 01:14:36 PM
Hello there one year ago i bought 3 bitcoins but lost them all in gambling... :'(nd now seeing the bitcoin price makes me cryy...
I have 1500USD right now...i am thinking to buy the bitcoin now whatever i can get with them

Should i buy now or not as bitcoin is reached its all time high and in to the moon...please advice me

There is no such thing as late in buying bitcoin or any coins. There is always a time to buy bitcoin but the best time is when the price is in dip. Buying the dip is a good practice of investing in any cryptocurrency because the price will eventually recover in the near future. Before you decide to invest, it is better to study the market first and try to find out where bitcoin price is heading.
649  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I buy a car with bitcoin? on: March 07, 2018, 08:02:59 AM
There is still no available car dealers that accept bitcoin as payment here in my country. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not popular as payment and the users convert it instead into fiat before buying a product. But wealthy countries like the US and Japan had some car companies that accept bitcoin as payment. There is also a report that car dealer in US even sell lamborghini with bitcoin as payment. More stores are also planning to accept bitcoin as payment in the future but selling cars and other vehicles for bitcoin may take longer time before cardealers fully accept it.
650  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL Will Stand When All Else Falls! on: March 06, 2018, 04:18:42 AM
I consider hodling is one of the best strategies to earn profits for long term. Many well-known investors in the stock market also used this kind of strategy and raked up a lot of profits. Hoding is already proven effective in cryptocurrency investment and many of the early bitcoin holders or users are now richer. When bitcoin price is falling, many bitcoin particularly the neophyte investors have the tendency to sell their bitcoin in panic and they have already forgot that bitcoin will recover soon.
651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: March 05, 2018, 09:35:52 AM
There are many reports recently that cryptocurrency like bitcoin is being used in many illegal activities like money laundering, drug trafficking, and in funding a terror group. These activities are mostly done in the so called dark web where online activities are hard to monitor. This is also one of the reasons why many governments are planning to impose regulations in cryptocurrency exchanges to monitor and control the movements of bitcoin transacions.
652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In this down market how your doing? on: March 05, 2018, 09:13:29 AM
I know we all can make a good profit when markets are going up but since last, one-month markets are down. So how is your portfolio is doing and are you selling or holding?

When market is down, many investors just hold their cryptocurrencies and wait for the prices to go up again. This type of strategy is effective for some coins that have long term potentials. Coins like bitcoin, ethereum and ripple are the best suited for long term hold. Sell only when their price reaches your target price or another possible all-time high. Panic-selling will only leads you to more losses in the future.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you long term or short term? on: March 04, 2018, 06:36:56 AM
I've been holding some of my coins for long term because it is still the best way to earn profits. There are some coins that are good for long term investment like bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin. Before buying a coin, it's better to research it first and find out if that coin have the best potential to give you profit in the long term. If you have some significant funds for long term investment then buy not just a single coin, but some another potential coins.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: March 03, 2018, 04:45:26 AM
This debate of whether bitcoin is a currency or asset still continue. While many people use it as a currency, some well known business personalities consider bitcoin as a commodity or asset.
I think the bitcoin has the ability to function as both money and an asset. Like gold, the value of bitcoin will continue to climb as it become more of scarce commodity that people want to own. Bitcoin might behave as an asset, until reach a total market saturation.
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the bitcoin price determined? on: March 03, 2018, 04:28:11 AM
There are some factors that determines the price of bitcoin. These factors are: the supply of bitcoin and the demand for it, the exchange it's traded, regulations  and the number of competing cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin forks and its internal governance can also a factor in detemining its price. The perception of many investors, widespread acceptance, and technology can also contributes to the movement of bitcoin price.
656  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 good year or bad year for Cryptocurrency ? on: March 01, 2018, 08:20:11 AM
I think it will be mixed year for cryptocurrencies, some coins particulary the solid ones will experience boom in their prices while the other ones will not grow well or suffer a price slowdown this year. Few coins might going to have some price bullrun and all-time high as usual but most growths are still depend on bitcoin price movement. A strong positive factor is needed to boost up the price of bitcoin to duplicate its 2017 ATHs.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin do you HOLD in 2018? on: March 01, 2018, 07:59:55 AM
Many coins have a big potential to grow this year and some have already show some of bullishness like litecoin, ethereum and ripple. I perfer to hold ethereum, ripple and litecoin along with bitcoin this year. Those cryptocurrencies have big chances to grow more particularly in the 4th quarter or before the year ends. There are also reports that more crypto investors are planning to purchase more coins as the year progresses.
658  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will have a price of $50000 on: February 28, 2018, 09:03:56 AM
It is reachable but may not be possible this year. Bitcoin might slowdown a bit due to some persistent negative factors like continuous of by some countries like China, the never ending spread of FUD and some countries plan for imposing stricter regulations against cryptocurrency exchangers. There are possibilities of all-time high this year but this won't reach $50k.
659  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Regulation Attempt affects the Bitcoin Price? on: February 27, 2018, 08:29:18 AM
The initial reaction of the cryptocurrency markets is negative and their prices go down whenever there is a news about imposing regulations on cryptocurrency exchangers. The faling prices was further aggravated by numerous FUD that scattered in the internet. The market have been sensitive to every news that comes from any online sources and readily affect its price movements. I think some degree of regulations are also needed as a protection from any illegal use of cryptocurrencies.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: February 27, 2018, 08:04:57 AM
To learn and earn is the reason in joining the cryptocurrency world. I want to educate myself on how cryptocurrency and blockchain works. Blockchain technology is a new and promising concept of technology that offers tremendous help to many different kinds of business and services. Cryptocurrencies gives profits to those who bought it by trading or holding it. There many great ideas and technology innovations that are waiting to unfold in the crypto word.
