721  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: February 01, 2018, 11:52:21 PM
Yeah, maybe in some cases fiat is better. For example, in my country, I can not use crypto currency as ordinary money. This is an investment and a great source of income for me, but not ordinary money that I can use in restaurants or stores.

That is the reason why majority of the people around the world preferred fiat over bitcoin because of its availability and convenience to use without the need of internet. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies need internet if you want use it in any transactions and that transactions can only happen when you are online. Many people are not yet crypto literate or still don't know how to use cryptocurrencies and it will take time before they can able to use it.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: February 01, 2018, 11:33:05 PM
Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?
The demand for bitcoin will remain strong even if there are already numeous coins in the cypto markets. The price of the bitcoin at the present time is still in downtrend but it is part of the market price correction and almost all cryptocurrencies are also experiences similar correction from time to time. FUDs and other news such as government crackdown on bitcoin exchanges and imposing regulations contributes to the downtrend of bitcoin but it doesn't mean that it losing popularity.
723  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Hacking is the Big Problem on: February 01, 2018, 09:54:24 AM
If the computers are poorly managed, they are vulnerable to attacks even by amateur hackers. As the technology advances, hackers are also become more high tech and sophisticated, and they are hard to control unless stronger measures is pursued against them.
There are some effective to avoid being hacked by strengthening your passwords, fortifying your devices with 2fa and always look out for any malicious links or activities like phising sites.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: effect of china on bitcoin on: February 01, 2018, 08:31:29 AM
China, before the crackdown of crypto exchanges, is been home to the word's biggest community of miners and many of the chinese are also holders of diffrerent cryptocurrencies. The continuing crackdowns considerably affected the bitcoin price, falling below the $9000 level with heavy losses at the start of 2018.
Another reason in the unabated fall of the bitcoin price is the plan for some governments to create a law for the regulation of bitcoin exchanges in their country
725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how risky is day trading? on: January 31, 2018, 12:24:42 PM
I think the no.1 risk or danger is your emotion, try to learn separating your emotions from trading first before you going to trade. Newbies are prone to emotions and almost all of them suffer losses during their initial year of trading. You can lessen the risks by educating yourself continuously, get experience and set up  your own risk management. Avoid being addicted in trading because this may cause some serious problems to you later. False informations also abound in the social media that might cause you to lose a big amount of money if you readily beieve in them. It's better find trustworthy sources and befriend people with successful experience in trading the market.
726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that Bitcoin's price will still drop nearly below $9000? on: January 31, 2018, 10:18:30 AM
Many of those people who predict the price of bitcoin will come down again like he raced to show the technical predictions he made.

if it is true can you give an accurate reason not just speculation and not just a fake streak of technical predictions?

and why the decline in Bitcoin prices is quite prolonged?

Bad news continues to bring down bitcoin price after China and South Korea crackdown on cryptocurrency exchanges. The news about UK government to introduce new legislation to regulate the trade of virtual currency also affect the bitcoin. FUD and continued actions by some government on cryptocurrencies notably bitcoin will bring more price dips in the days. Bitcoin falls below $10k with other altcoins followed the bitcoin drop.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do I know a bounty program is good? on: January 31, 2018, 05:55:31 AM
It eally hard to find a best and trusted campaign and sometimes researching them is not enough. There are lot of bounty campaigns and some of them are trusted, scams, and other are eventually get failed.
It is always important to become selective when you are choosing a bounty campaign. It's better to research the team behind a bounty campaign and their plans and programs for the future of their coin/token. Message their campaign manager or join their telegram channel to gain more informations about their product.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Cryptocurrency to invest 2018? on: January 31, 2018, 04:37:55 AM
After bitcoin, I'll go for ethereum. Ethereum surpassed $1300 recently and many thinks it has the potential to reach $10,000 in the future. It is one of the top blockchain platform today and within only a few years of its existence, it already broke some records including that of bitcoin. In the coming years, corporations and some major developers will start utilizing for everyday process and decentralized apps will soon release to the public. The technology industry and the tech giants are also adapting to ethereum.
The future demands for ethereum will sure grow dramatically in the future with these numerous developments.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to Buy with Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2018, 03:52:07 AM
To become full-time cryptocurrency trader is one of my goals so i will use my bitcoins to buy some potential altcoins for my future trade. I also consider joining ICOs using the bitcoin but they must undergo thorough research first before investing in them. ICOs are under strict regulation in my country and some of them are already rejected by Securities and Exchange Commission or SEC in my country.
I seldom use bitcoin in purchasing goods except when it is really needed. Anything I'll buy must be related only to trading and for the improvement of my workplace.
730  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of bitcoin on the financial stability of a country on: January 30, 2018, 09:28:51 AM
It is still early to tell if there is such an impact of bitcoin in financial stability of a country. The government can always make a measure like imposing regulations on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to to ensure that the country's financial stability will not be affected. Many government fears that because of bitcoin's decentralized feature, they can't be able to monitor any funds that comes from unknown sources like money laundering and other illegal activities that uses bitcoin. This illegal activities might later affect the economy if it is remain unchecked.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: alll coin going down. what should we do? on: January 30, 2018, 05:37:33 AM
The slumping coins will rebound soon, this price dip is temporary and part of the coins' volatility. If you bought potential coins, go for long term hodl and wait for the right time to sell it. Look out for prices of  some coins that can be easiy manipulated particuarly the smaller coins, they are subject to pump and dump groups. Their prices will artificially rise and fall in a quick manner
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are your governments reacting to Bitcoin? on: January 29, 2018, 11:50:13 AM
The central bank here in our country responded with a caution over the use of bitcoin by some retail investors despite the bank accepting stance of the cryptocurrencies. It believes that bitcoin should be use as a payment or remittance rather  an investment asset.
They are also planning to create regulatory standards for the bitcoin and other cryptocurrncies.
Last year, the government first issued regulations and guidelines for the local bitcoin industry as  bitcoin transactions grew to almost double digits before the yearend.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: January 29, 2018, 07:14:46 AM
All users that stores valuable informations in their computers, laptops and mobile phones shoud be extra cautious when browsing online.
The truth is that any device that is connects to the internet is theoreticaly vulnerable to being hacked.
Technical experts admitted recenty that nothing can be 100% secure. The rapid advances of technologies  makes computers more vulnerable to hacking and it is increasingly difficult for the experts to find faster remedies. You still can secure your account by avoiding phising sites, be always suspicious of emails, check link location, never open attachments unless you are really sure and use the two-factor authentication.
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: January 29, 2018, 05:40:41 AM
It's really a lot of risk. But if Btc is really secure and it's business continues to run,it's OK.Because when there is no guarantee of what happens. It'll foolish to quit the present job without being absolutely sure.I'm goona say it shouldn't be done.

You're right, especialy if your present job is stable and its secure your income for many years to come until your retirement. Earning opportunities in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is unpredictable and risky. It is often advised that if you are going to invest in cryptocurrencies, invest only the amount that you can afford to lose or invest at your own risk. So it is not really advisable to quit your job for a risky investment like bitcoin unless you are already financially secured.
735  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do i have to pay tax on bitcoins ? on: January 29, 2018, 03:15:02 AM
If bitcoin is considered as an asset not a currency and the holder can gain from an increase in its value, then it is taxable by means of capital gains. Many tax officials in various governments around the world are also still debating whether the income that generated from bitcoin will be subject to income tax.
If there is a law in your country that requires you to pay tax in every transaction then you should follow it rather that going underground to avoid taxes.
736  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the market rise? on: January 29, 2018, 12:37:47 AM
The whole crypto might market will remain sluggish till the middle of next month, it is still buying time for some low price atcoins, many of them might experience high growth this year.
There are some forecasts that bitcoin price will fall again before the chinese new year and that during the previous year, it is also resulted in similar price drops. Many chinese are also holders of different cryptocurrencies and they will also sell them for cash for their gift shopping before the incoming holiday.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin affecting the Environment on: January 27, 2018, 12:37:51 PM

This pollutions affected much of our environment and living things are getting killed everyday. Bitcoin or crypto mining can instead use any renewable energy like solar power to reduce dependent or consumption of electricity.

This apart from earlier report of sweeping bans of local exchanges across the country and restricts their citizens from joining ICOs. 739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome the fear of holding? on: January 27, 2018, 03:23:50 AM
Try to research first on any of cryptocurrency you want invest and find those coins that are good for holding. Choose the coins that has the potential to grow in the future. Bitcoin for example, reaches many all-time highs last year, projected to grow more this year and can possiby break its record highs last year. If you studied thoroughy the history of that coin and you knew that it has the potential to grow more then there is no reason to fear it.
740  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: January 25, 2018, 11:52:54 PM
If you have big amount of bitcoin in your wallet, try to invest in internet shop. Internet shop involves managing it online and offline. Find a place in your area that is conducive to setting up an internet shop, where most people are passing especially students and employees alike. In that kind of business bitcoin can be use also as a mode of payment. You should also try to buy and sell bitcoin in your shop but it might not profitable at this time because of high transaction cost.
