601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market will recover? on: April 11, 2018, 06:22:17 AM
Bitcoin an the cryptocurrency market have different pace of growth every year. In this year, it might have a slower growth if you compare it last year tremendous growth. Bitcoin might not be able to equal or surpass its good performance last year if slow market demand continues. Market need a positive factor to boost the price of the cryptocurrencies and this factor is still missing.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: April 09, 2018, 03:19:21 AM
I often read most of the white paper when I'm looking for a bounty campaign. Reading white paper because it will provide information on the legality of any start up or bounty campaign. The white paper must include the the vision of the project, the technology, problem that the project is trying to solve and the track record of the team. But there is also a possibility that a company might have a legit-looking white paper might turn out to be a scam.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will we stay positive on Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2018, 02:49:16 AM
Bitcoin is already known to have the ability to recover even in a worst crashes so those investors and holders who believe on it should stay positive. The growth of this popular cryptocurrency continue and at the same it will still face many factors that cause its price to go down. But these price dips are temporary and also needed to avoid falling into a possible bubble.
604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it time to buy some BTC? on: April 08, 2018, 01:03:54 PM
It is difficult to find out if the price of bitcoin already reaçhed its bottom  but it may be the proper time to buy more bitcoins because it is cheaper than a few week ago. This present price decline of the bitcoin might be the biggest this year but it hard to predict if this downturn will continue. It woud also better if you evaluate your bitcoin investment and consider whether the recent declines represent a buying opportunity.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is 1ETH=$10,000 worth the possibility? on: April 08, 2018, 08:24:19 AM
What do you think?

Ethereum has the ability to reach all-time but it only time can tell when will that happen. It is also one of the best cryptocurrency for long term hold. Being a decentralized platforms that runs smart contracts and many applications can create from it, ethereum will surely grow tremendously in the future.
606  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: April 08, 2018, 07:56:51 AM

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?

If a country accepted bitcoin as one of their legal currency and being used by its people in any kind of transactions, there is big chance that the cryptocurrency might also boost their economy. In japan, bitcoin is already legal and many of their merchants have started to accept bitcoins as one of their mode of payment. Mass adoption of bitcoin into mainstream will eventually contributes to the economic growth.
607  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: April 08, 2018, 07:44:31 AM
Cash will still be existing even if cryptocurrencies like bitcoin become popular in use in the coming years. In some highly developed countries where there is a 100%  availability of internet, cash may become extinct sometime in the future. Countries that have a developing status will still use the cash because their internet infrastrucruture is not yet completely developed.
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: April 08, 2018, 07:05:06 AM
Bitcoin is better as an online payment system because it exist only in the virtual world and many merchants have started to accept the cryptocurrency as one of their payment system. As a payment system, bitcoin is a borderless currency and can be use worldwide without a fear of being check by any government and the banks because of its decentralized system.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you day trade or prefer a long term hold? on: April 07, 2018, 10:40:35 AM
So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks

If you are already a skilled trader then you can try daytrading for fast profit. But it is more risky than hodling and it need full time becaue you to watch the movement of prices. For those who are beginners and hve no time to pursue daytrading, hodling is the better option because it is less risky and time manageable. You only need patience in waiting for the price of your coins to go up.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait for bitcoin to grow? on: April 06, 2018, 09:10:44 AM
Just hodl on and wait for the price of the bitcoin to bounce back. FUDs are one of the reasons why the price is going down and they are also some of the investors who's been praying for more lower price so they can buy cheaper bitcoins. Selling your bitcoins while it is going down will only result to further loss of investment. If you have enough patience for waiting then you better hodl it until its price go up.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money on: April 06, 2018, 08:54:31 AM
Crypto regulations are aimed to prevent or stop any virtual currency particularly bitcoin being used into illegal activities by some lawless elements. The use of worlwide regulation is inevitable because more countries are planning to impose it in the near future to safeguard them financially. Financial regulations are imposed by the governments on businesses and financial institutions in order to manage a nation's financial system.

613  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: April 03, 2018, 11:02:27 AM
According to my friend preev.com, as of press time, the value of Bitcoin is standing at $2,351. Though I would say that this still considered as a feat, some are worried because it almost reached $2,800 again after the correction that happened days ago.

I have read that the decline can partly be contributed to newcomers especially neophyte traders who still have to be well-versed on the market...and can easily be ignited to do panic selling once they can fell that anything can be wrong.

Against this backdrop...are you holding on to your Bitcoin or transferring it into another digital currency?
I think you do not need to panic with the Bitcoin price down. Your panic will only hurt you. You are calm and eagerly waiting for the price of Bitcoin to rise again. I'm sure this is only temporary and the future will be fine. You have to hold Bitcoin that you have longer.

If you really know how bitcoin works and its history then there is no need to panic. Bitcoin price have an up and down cycle caused by many different factors like FUD, threat of ban and supply and demand. Panic selling will only lead to further losses of your investments so it better to remain calm and wait for the market recovery.
614  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin global regulation on: April 03, 2018, 10:45:05 AM
The outcome of the next G20 summit on July will determine the future of regulation for cryptocurrencies. If the member countries agrees on creating a global regulation for cryptocurrencies then other countries that banned virtual currencies and coin exchanges might follow later. Instead of having many different regulations, it will be unified under single internationa regulation.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: April 03, 2018, 10:27:40 AM
If the tokens or atcoins have potential to grow in the long term, I'd rather hold it till its value grow to profitable level. Before joining some bounties or participate in airdrops, try to find out first if they are legitimate or if their tokens is really worth investing. Majority of the token loses some of their value but if the token is potential, it may bounce back and appreciate further in the future.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: April 02, 2018, 07:48:47 AM
Bitcoin is undergoing correction only and it is just  part of any virtual currency because of their volatility. Bitcoin have been sentenced to deaath many times in the past but only to recover in the next days or weeks. To be able to understand the nature of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, try to educate yourself first on how do they function. There are really times that bitcoin suffers a prolonged correction but it doesn't mean that it dying already, it has its own time to bounce back so wait for it.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your crypto? on: March 31, 2018, 05:57:52 AM
I mostly mine and hodl, but my friend day trades and says I should start getting into it. What do you prefer to do and do you think there is a better route to take? I personally think it's all up to personal preference, I'm new though.

Since I haven't enough time to pursue trading, I prefer to hold my coins intead. Hodling is less risky but it will take weeks, months or even years before you earn profit from it. I have several cryptocurrencies in my possession and all of them are solid coins with potential to grow more in the long term. If you are planning to hold a coin for long term investment then take time to research it first before you going to buy.
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: March 30, 2018, 07:59:35 AM
Almost all of us had fear on hackers who can easily steal your funds anytime. They have more advance equipments than those hunting the them. There are already many incidents around the world and millions of funds including cryptocurrency have been stolen. Some malicious or phising sites are use by hackers to hack their unsuspecting victims with they open or log into it. Try to find more secured ways to protect your account or fund from hackers.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: March 29, 2018, 10:55:13 PM
There is no such as late in investing in any cryptocurrencies or in trading it provided that you have already the knowledge and sufficient skills before trying it. In buying cryptocurrencies you need the right timing, the funds that you can afford to lose and the right virtual coins that you will be bought. Select only the cryptocurrency that have the best  potential to grow by doing a full research first on the coin developer, team, whitepaper, and others.
