181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you still get rich with crypto? on: February 08, 2019, 10:54:41 AM
It is still possible to become rich in crypto through hodl or trading. In hodl, you should choose the right coins with a big potential to go up in the future and invest on it. It is also possible to get rich in trading although it is more risky than hodling but you don't need for months or years to take profits. You must be skilled in trading to make it possible because you can't win your trades often.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH ready to bounce back? on: February 08, 2019, 10:36:25 AM
Ethereum's hardfork this month may push its price up for short term but I believe it will go up again next year for another update called serenity. There must be enough support for the ethereum price to bounce back,  otherwise, it will going to decline again in the coming days.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do now on: February 07, 2019, 07:04:12 AM
Some people say hold your crypto,  some says sell immediately that holding for long is useless.
What do you believe and practice?

The decision is still yours but it better if you make a substantial research first before you decide. The market is still bearish until now because there is still no significant rise of prices in the majority of cryptocurrencies but those who are still believe in the recovery can still hold their coins because the price is not always falling. I turned to tradind during bear situation because the prices of some altcoins still go up and they are good for daytrading.
184  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: February 07, 2019, 06:47:41 AM
Bounties and trading cryptocurrencies gave me enough profits since i joined it at the start of 2017. The bitcoin bullrun of that year has brought a significant profits to those investors who bought bitcoin many months before the all-time high in December 2017. Lucky are those took profits during the ATH because they were able to convert their gains into fiat. During bear market, many traders can still make profit by trading some coins that not affected by the downtrend of bitcoin.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have a reason to stay? on: February 07, 2019, 06:15:08 AM
We already witnessed bitcoin's big potential in the past like the bullrun that happened in 2017 so there is really a reason to stay and keep supporting the cryptocurrencies. I believe that the current situation in the crypto market will end at the right time before the start another round of bullrun. What we need now is more patience while waiting for the market to become bullish again.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 first quarter market prediction on: February 06, 2019, 09:23:47 AM
What is your market prediction for the first quarter of 2019?

The price of the bitcoin continues to decline and the bear market seem to be extended so there is no major price uptrend in this first quarter. There is no assurance that bitcoin ETF will be approve this quarter even the proponent is already resubmitted their ETF application to the SEC. But some altcoins won't be affected by bitcoin and may go up independently.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple XRP be the number one cryptocurrency on: February 06, 2019, 09:02:56 AM
Will Ripple XRP be the number one cryptocurrency before the end of the year?

I think ripple or xrp will continue to be the challenger against ethereum in 2nd rank position rather than bitcoin. Many new cryptocurrencies with better technology and innovations will also challenge ripple and ethereum in the future. Overtaking will take more years but we'll see a lot of movements from the rank of second and below in the coming months.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ???? on: February 06, 2019, 08:42:59 AM
Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, ethereum, ripple and other top coins are good for long term investment. The bear market seem to be extended this year as bitcoin price continue to decline for the past several days. More patience is needed for this kind of market situation but I believe that the market will become bullish again.
189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i continue trading ? on: February 05, 2019, 09:27:00 AM
You should have learned a lot during your two years of daytrading if you are really serious in learning how to trade. Some of the traders use few technical analysis tools to win a trade so I think you need to educate yourself how to trade properly. I hope you are not the one who buy high and sell low type of trader or get easily overcome by FOMO. I believe you can still improve and don't be discourage.
190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What about your trade? on: February 04, 2019, 07:55:27 AM
Some cryptocurrencies are good for long term investment andthey will surely after period of time. But if you are an experienced trader, it better to use the coins in your daily trade instead of holding it for months or years because it is more profitable. I trade my coins whenever I have time rather than holding it for five years or wait for another bullrun.
191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions if Bitcoin ETFs are approved on: February 04, 2019, 07:39:22 AM
There is still no assurance if the crypto market will go bullish again after the SEC approves the bitcoin ETF. If the approval is recieved positively by the crypto community, a price uptrend might be happen but it be short term and the market will dump again after few days.. Both ETF and the BAKKT can turn the whole market into a temporary bullish mood.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: February 04, 2019, 07:15:38 AM
Some of the low ranked coins registered positive growth even during bearish market almost beating those in the top ranked so the growth is not only contained to one group of coins. If a coin have a potential to grow in the future, I will invest on it even it is newly listed coin. There some promising coins in the market that are capable to overtake those leading coins in the future so my focus of investment is not only in the top ranked coins.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you feel about market regulation? on: February 03, 2019, 10:11:59 AM
No matter how the government tries to regulate cryptocurrency, they will not succeed. The blockchain system itself will not allow this. Of course, they can try all sorts of laws, but this will only help to establish a cryptocurrency.

I agree with your opinion because no one is in control of any blockchain-based cryptocurrencies. Imposing a regulation to any decentralized virtual currency is not possible but the government might turn to many cryptoexchanges to control or limit the flow of transactions. Majority of the exchanges are centralized so it is easy for them to impose a regulation. I'm not against regulation as long as its aim is to protect the crypto users from scams and other illegal use of cryptocutmrrencies.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: The whole market is going down. Any particular reason for that? on: February 03, 2019, 02:26:12 AM
The declines is still part of cryptocurrency cycle but some negative developments may also cause the downtrend. The coming hardfork of ethereum this month might help boost its price up maybe for short term. Bitcoin might still go sideways because of lack of positive news to boost the price of the leading cryptocurrency. The cryptomarket may still improve in the coming months but it will depend on some developments that will take place.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Altcoins on: February 03, 2019, 01:52:28 AM
What made you think that those coins you mentioned are going to collapse? Bitcoin and ethereum are two of the leading cryptocurrencies in the market and still going strong even they currenntly suffering declines. The future of altcoins will depend on their supply and demand and the investors' support. But I believe many altcoins with less quality will be delisted later from exchanges and other will not even make it to the exchanges.
196  Economy / Economics / Re: Is government the most influential factor that affects Bitcoin price? on: February 02, 2019, 10:30:30 AM
Sorry for the naïve question, but I'm just really curious. What would happen to Bitcoin price if, for example, Trump declared all cryptocurrencies forbidden?

Can Bitcoin survive because of decentralization or some other underlying tech concepts, or will it simply drop down into oblivion if the government decides to fight it for real?

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can still be bought through the underground exchanges but it is more risky. Only few countries banned bitcoin but the majority including China allowed their citizens to buy it and other cryptocurrencies. Totally banning the leading virtual currency might be impossible because many sectors that uses bitcoin will be affected. The present trend is cryptocurrency regulation and a group of countries are already planning to create a global regulation in the future.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market has recovered? on: February 02, 2019, 10:09:22 AM
I think the crypto market recovered a bit then goes down again. The market is really having a hard time to recover and there are possibility that bear market that started last year might spill into this year but i hope it will not be as severe as last year. Many crypto analysts and investors pinned their hope on a possible approval of bitcoin ETF and the launching of BAKKT to boost the prices of the cryptocurrencies but this forecast is still uncertain.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: February 02, 2019, 09:47:15 AM
Almost all tokens that I presently holding are still worthless and some of them need several months before the developers list them in some exchanges. I'm planning to hold only those altcoins that have the potential to grow in the future but it really hard find which coin has the potential. Bearish market might continue to dominate trading but there is a hope for better prices in the next quarters of this year.
199  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it legal to sell bitcoin for cash ? on: February 01, 2019, 10:37:08 AM
If there is a law in your country that make selling bitcoin or any cryptocurrency illegal then you can't sell it otherwise you'll face the consequences of selling it. But there are only few countries that banned bitcoins, some imposed regulations and the rest is seem to be neutral on cryptocurrencies, they neither ban or accept it but they allowed their people to use bitcoin and other virtual currencies.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your most common uses for cryptocurrencies? on: February 01, 2019, 10:14:51 AM
I use my bitcoin to pay some monthly bills through a local bitcoin exchange here. I can also sell load for mobile phones and buy some items using my account in this local exchange. That is my common use for cryptocurrency aside from investing and trading it. Sending a remittance by using cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ripple is also a growing business in my country.
